VaYikra Chapter 23
9 And יהוה spoke unto Moshe saying, 10 "Speak unto B'nei Yisra'el, and say unto them, 'When you are come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then you shall bring the Omer Reishit of your harvest unto the kohen. 11 And he shall wave the omer before יהוה , to be accepted for you; on the morrow after the Shabbat the kohen shall wave it. 12 And in the day when you wave the omer, you shall offer a he-lamb without blemish of the first year for an Olah unto יהוה . And 13 the Minkah thereof shall be two tenth parts of an efah of fine flour mingled with oil, a karban of fire unto יהוה for a sweet savor; and the Nesekh thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of a hin. 14 And you shall eat neither bread, nor parched grain, nor fresh ears, until this selfsame day, until you have brought the offering of your Elohim; it is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
15 And you shall count unto you from the morrow after The Shabbat, from the day that you brought the omer of the waving; seven Sabbaths shall there be complete; 16 even unto the morrow after the seventh Shabbat shall you number fifty days; and you shall present a Minkah Khadashah unto יהוה .

HAFTARAH

Yehoshua Chapter 5
1 And it came to pass, when all the kings of the Amori that were beyond the Yarden westward, and all the kings of the Kena'ani that were by the sea, heard how that יהוה had dried up the waters of the Yarden from before B'nei Yisra'el, until they were passed over, that their heart melted, neither was there spirit in them any more, because of B'nei Yisra'el.
2 At that time יהוה said unto Yehoshua, "Make yourself knives of flint, and circumcise again B'nei Yisra'el the second time." 3 And Yehoshua made him knives of flint, and circumcised B'nei Yisra'el at Givat HaAralot. 4 And this is the cause why Yehoshua did circumcise: all the people that came forth out of Mitzrayim that were males, even all the men of war, died in the wilderness by the way, after they came forth out of Mitzrayim. 5 For all the people that came out were circumcised; but all the people that were born in the wilderness by the way as they came forth out of Mitzrayim had not been circumcised. 6 For B'nei Yisra'el walked forty years in the wilderness, till all the nation, even the men of war that came forth out of Mitzrayim, were consumed, because they hearkened not unto the voice of יהוה , unto whom יהוה swore that He would not let them see the land which יהוה swore unto their fathers that He would give us, a land flowing with milk and honey. 7 And He raised up their children in their stead; them did Yehoshua circumcise; for they were uncircumcised, because they had not been circumcised by the way. 8 And it came to pass, when all the nation were circumcised, every one of them, that they abode in their places in the camp, till they were whole.
9 And יהוה said unto Yehoshua, "This day have I rolled away the reproach of Mitzrayim from off you." Therefore the name of that place was called Gilgal, unto this day. 10 And B'nei Yisra'el encamped in Gilgal; and they kept the Pesakh on the fourteenth day of the month at dusk in the plains of Yerekho. 11 And they did eat of the produce of the land on the morrow after the Pesakh, unleavened cakes and parched grain, in the selfsame day. 12 And manna ceased on the morrow, after they had eaten of the produce of the land; neither had B'nei Yisra'el manna any more; but they did eat of the fruit of the land of Kena'an that year.

Korinti'im Alef Chapter 15
1 Moreover, my brethren, I declare to you HaB'sorah which I declared to you, and which you have accepted, and for which you have stood firm, 2 by which also you live, if you keep in remembrance that very Davar which I have declared to you, and if your absolute trust has not been in vain. 3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I had also received, that Mashi'akh died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again on the third day according to the scriptures; 5 and that He appeared to Kefa, and then to the twelve; 6 after that, He appeared to more than five hundred brethren at once, of whom a great many are still living, though some are dead. 7 And after that, He appeared to Ya'akov; then to all the Shlikhim. 8 And last of all He appeared to me also, as if I had been as one not born as yet. 9 For I am the least of the Shlikhim, and I am not worthy to be called a Shali'akh, because I persecuted the assembly of Elohim. 10 But by the compassion of Elohim, behold what I am; and His compassion that is in me has not been in vain; for I labored more abundantly than them all, yet not I, but the compassion of Elohim that is within me. 11 Therefore whether it was I or they, so we declared, and so you trusted.
12 Now if it is declared that Mashi'akh rose from the dead, how can some say among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 And if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Mashi'akh also has not risen; 14 and if Mashi'akh is not risen, then is our proclamation in vain and your absolute trust is also in vain; 15 and we are also found false witnesses of Elohim, because we have testified of Elohim that He raised up Mashi'akh, when He had not raised Him. 16 For if the dead rise not, then neither did Mashi'akh rise; 17 and if Mashi'akh did not rise, your belief is in vain, and you are yet in your sins. 18 And also, then, those who have died in Mashi'akh have perished. 19 If in this life only we have hope in Mashi'akh, then we are of all men most miserable.
20 But now we know Mashi'akh is risen from the dead, and has become the first-fruits of those who have died. 21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Mashi'akh shall all be made alive. 23 But every man in his own order: Mashi'akh, the first-fruits; afterward, those who belong to Mashi'akh at His coming. 24 Then will come the end, when He shall have delivered up the kingdom to Elohim, even HaAv; when He shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25 For He must reign until He has put all enemies under His feet. 26 And the last enemy that shall be destroyed is Mavet.
