Shemot Chapter 35
1 And Moshe congregated all the assembly of B'nei Yisra'el, and said unto them, "These are the words which יהוה has commanded, that you should do them. 2 Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you a kadosh day, a Shabbat of solemn rest to יהוה ; whoever does any work therein shall be put to death. 3 You shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon Yom HaShabbat."
4 And Moshe spoke unto all the assembly of B'nei Yisra'el, saying, "This is the thing which יהוה commanded, saying, 5 'Take from among you an offering unto יהוה , whoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, the offering of יהוה : gold, and silver, and brass; 6 and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair; 7 and rams' skins dyed red, and sealskins, and acacia-wood; 8 and oil for the light, and spices for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense; 9 and onyx stones, and stones to be set, for the Efod, and for the breastplate. 10 And let every wise-hearted man among you come, and make all that יהוה has commanded: 11 the Mishkan, its Ohel, and its covering, its clasps, and its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets; 12 the Aron, and the staves thereof, the Kaporet, and the Parokhet of the screen; 13 the Shulkhan, and its staves, and all its vessels, and Lekhem HaPanim; 14 the Menorah also for the light, and its vessels, and its lamps, and the oil for the light; 15 and the Mizbe'akh of incense, and its staves, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the screen for the door, at the door of the Mishkan; 16 the Mizbe'akh HaOlah, with its grating of brass, its staves, and all its vessels, the Ki'or and its base; 17 the hangings of the court, the pillars thereof, and their sockets, and the screen for the gate of the court; 18 the pins of the Mishkan, and the pins of the court, and their cords; 19 the plaited garments, for ministering in HaKodesh, the k'doshim garments for Aharon the Kohen, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the Kohen's office." 20 And all the assembly of B'nei Yisra'el departed from the presence of Moshe. 21 And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and brought the offering of יהוה , for the work of the Ohel Mo'ed, and for all the service thereof, and for the k'doshim garments. 22 And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing-hearted, and brought nose-rings, and ear-rings, and signet-rings, and girdles, all jewels of gold; even every man that brought an offering of gold unto יהוה . And 23 every man, with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair, and rams' skins dyed red, and sealskins, brought them. 24 Every one that did consecrate an offering of silver and brass brought the offering of יהוה ; and every man, with whom was found acacia-wood for any work of the service, brought it. 25 And all the women that were wise-hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, the blue, and the purple, the scarlet, and the fine linen. 26 And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun the goats' hair. 27 And the rulers brought the onyx stones, and the stones to be set, for the Efod, and for the breastplate; 28 and the spice, and the oil, for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense. 29 B'nei Yisra'el brought a freewill-offering unto יהוה ; every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all the work, which יהוה had commanded by the hand of Moshe to be made.
30 And Moshe said unto B'nei Yisra'el, "See, יהוה has called by name Betzalel Ben Uri, Ben Khur, of the tribe of Yehudah. 31 And He has filled him with the Ru'akh of Elohim, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship. 32 And to devise skillful works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, 33 and in cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, to work in all manner of skillful workmanship. 34 And He has put in his heart that he may teach, both he, and Oholi'av, Ben Akhisamach, of the tribe of Dan. 35 Them has He filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of workmanship, of the craftsman, and of the skillful workman, and of the weaver in colors, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any workmanship, and of those that devise skillful works.

א וַיַּקְהֵל מֹשֶׁה אֶת כָּל עֲדַת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיֹּאמֶר אֲלֵהֶם אֵלֶּה הַדְּבָרִים אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה לַעֲשֹׂת אֹתָם.
ב שֵׁשֶׁת יָמִים תֵּעָשֶׂה מְלָאכָה וּבַיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי יִהְיֶה לָכֶם קֹדֶשׁ שַׁבַּת שַׁבָּתוֹן לַיהוה כָּל הָעֹשֶׂה בוֹ מְלָאכָה יוּמָת.
ג לֹא תְבַעֲרוּ אֵשׁ בְּכֹל מֹשְׁבֹתֵיכֶם בְּיוֹם הַשַּׁבָּת.
ד וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה אֶל כָּל עֲדַת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לֵאמֹר זֶה הַדָּבָר אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה לֵאמֹר.
ה קְחוּ מֵאִתְּכֶם תְּרוּמָה לַיהוה כֹּל נְדִיב לִבּוֹ יְבִיאֶהָ אֵת תְּרוּמַת יהוה זָהָב וָכֶסֶף וּנְחֹשֶׁת.
ו וּתְכֵלֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן וְתוֹלַעַת שָׁנִי וְשֵׁשׁ וְעִזִּים.
ז וְעֹרֹת אֵילִם מְאָדָּמִים וְעֹרֹת תְּחָשִׁים וַעֲצֵי שִׁטִּים.
ח וְשֶׁמֶן לַמָּאוֹר וּבְשָׂמִים לְשֶׁמֶן הַמִּשְׁחָה וְלִקְטֹרֶת הַסַּמִּים.
ט וְאַבְנֵי שֹׁהַם וְאַבְנֵי מִלֻּאִים לָאֵפוֹד וְלַחֹשֶׁן.
י וְכָל חֲכַם לֵב בָּכֶם יָבֹאוּ וְיַעֲשׂוּ אֵת כָּל אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה .
יא אֶת הַמִּשְׁכָּן אֶת אָהֳלוֹ וְאֶת מִכְסֵהוּ אֶת קְרָסָיו וְאֶת קְרָשָׁיו אֶת בְּרִיחָו אֶת עַמֻּדָיו וְאֶת אֲדָנָיו.
יב אֶת הָאָרֹן וְאֶת בַּדָּיו אֶת הַכַּפֹּרֶת וְאֵת פָּרֹכֶת הַמָּסָךְ.
יג אֶת הַשֻּׁלְחָן וְאֶת בַּדָּיו וְאֶת כָּל כֵּלָיו וְאֵת לֶחֶם הַפָּנִים.
יד וְאֶת מְנֹרַת הַמָּאוֹר וְאֶת כֵּלֶיהָ וְאֶת נֵרֹתֶיהָ וְאֵת שֶׁמֶן הַמָּאוֹר.
טו וְאֶת מִזְבַּח הַקְּטֹרֶת וְאֶת בַּדָּיו וְאֵת שֶׁמֶן הַמִּשְׁחָה וְאֵת קְטֹרֶת הַסַּמִּים וְאֶת מָסַךְ הַפֶּתַח לְפֶתַח הַמִּשְׁכָּן.
טז אֵת מִזְבַּח הָעֹלָה וְאֶת מִכְבַּר הַנְּחֹשֶׁת אֲשֶׁר לוֹ אֶת בַּדָּיו וְאֶת כָּל כֵּלָיו אֶת הַכִּיֹּר וְאֶת כַּנּוֹ.
יז אֵת קַלְעֵי הֶחָצֵר אֶת עַמֻּדָיו וְאֶת אֲדָנֶיהָ וְאֵת מָסַךְ שַׁעַר הֶחָצֵר.
יח אֶת יִתְדֹת הַמִּשְׁכָּן וְאֶת יִתְדֹת הֶחָצֵר וְאֶת מֵיתְרֵיהֶם.
יט אֶת בִּגְדֵי הַשְּׂרָד לְשָׁרֵת בַּקֹּדֶשׁ אֶת בִּגְדֵי הַקֹּדֶשׁ לְאַהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֵן וְאֶת בִּגְדֵי בָנָיו לְכַהֵן.
כ וַיֵּצְאוּ כָּל עֲדַת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל מִלִּפְנֵי מֹשֶׁה.
כא וַיָּבֹאוּ כָּל אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר נְשָׂאוֹ לִבּוֹ וְכֹל אֲשֶׁר נָדְבָה רוּחוֹ אֹתוֹ הֵבִיאוּ אֶת תְּרוּמַת יהוה לִמְלֶאכֶת אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וּלְכָל עֲבֹדָתוֹ וּלְבִגְדֵי הַקֹּדֶשׁ.
כב וַיָּבֹאוּ הָאֲנָשִׁים עַל הַנָּשִׁים כֹּל נְדִיב לֵב הֵבִיאוּ חָח וָנֶזֶם וְטַבַּעַת וְכוּמָז כָּל כְּלִי זָהָב וְכָל אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר הֵנִיף תְּנוּפַת זָהָב לַיהוה .
כג וְכָל אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר נִמְצָא אִתּוֹ תְּכֵלֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן וְתוֹלַעַת שָׁנִי וְשֵׁשׁ וְעִזִּים וְעֹרֹת אֵילִם מְאָדָּמִים וְעֹרֹת תְּחָשִׁים הֵבִיאוּ.
כד כָּל מֵרִים תְּרוּמַת כֶּסֶף וּנְחֹשֶׁת הֵבִיאוּ אֵת תְּרוּמַת יהוה וְכֹל אֲשֶׁר נִמְצָא אִתּוֹ עֲצֵי שִׁטִּים לְכָל מְלֶאכֶת הָעֲבֹדָה הֵבִיאוּ.
כה וְכָל אִשָּׁה חַכְמַת לֵב בְּיָדֶיהָ טָווּ וַיָּבִיאוּ מַטְוֶה אֶת הַתְּכֵלֶת וְאֶת הָאַרְגָּמָן אֶת תּוֹלַעַת הַשָּׁנִי וְאֶת הַשֵּׁשׁ.
כו וְכָל הַנָּשִׁים אֲשֶׁר נָשָׂא לִבָּן אֹתָנָה בְּחָכְמָה טָווּ אֶת הָעִזִּים.
כז וְהַנְּשִׂאִם הֵבִיאוּ אֵת אַבְנֵי הַשֹּׁהַם וְאֵת אַבְנֵי הַמִּלֻּאִים לָאֵפוֹד וְלַחֹשֶׁן.
כח וְאֶת הַבֹּשֶׂם וְאֶת הַשָּׁמֶן לְמָאוֹר וּלְשֶׁמֶן הַמִּשְׁחָה וְלִקְטֹרֶת הַסַּמִּים.
כט כָּל אִישׁ וְאִשָּׁה אֲשֶׁר נָדַב לִבָּם אֹתָם לְהָבִיא לְכָל הַמְּלָאכָה אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה לַעֲשׂוֹת בְּיַד מֹשֶׁה הֵבִיאוּ בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל נְדָבָה לַיהוה .
ל וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה אֶל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל רְאוּ קָרָא יהוה בְּשֵׁם בְּצַלְאֵל בֶּן אוּרִי בֶן חוּר לְמַטֵּה יְהוּדָה.
לא וַיְמַלֵּא אֹתוֹ רוּחַ אֱלֹהִים בְּחָכְמָה בִּתְבוּנָה וּבְדַעַת וּבְכָל מְלָאכָה.
לב וְלַחְשֹׁב מַחֲשָׁבֹת לַעֲשֹׂת בַּזָּהָב וּבַכֶּסֶף וּבַנְּחֹשֶׁת.
לג וּבַחֲרֹשֶׁת אֶבֶן לְמַלֹּאת וּבַחֲרֹשֶׁת עֵץ לַעֲשׂוֹת בְּכָל מְלֶאכֶת מַחֲשָׁבֶת.
לד וּלְהוֹרֹת נָתַן בְּלִבּוֹ הוּא וְאָהֳלִיאָב בֶּן אֲחִיסָמָךְ לְמַטֵּה דָן.
לה מִלֵּא אֹתָם חָכְמַת לֵב לַעֲשׂוֹת כָּל מְלֶאכֶת חָרָשׁ וְחֹשֵׁב וְרֹקֵם בַּתְּכֵלֶת וּבָאַרְגָּמָן בְּתוֹלַעַת הַשָּׁנִי וּבַשֵּׁשׁ וְאֹרֵג עֹשֵׂי כָּל מְלָאכָה וְחֹשְׁבֵי מַחֲשָׁבֹת.

Shemot Chapter 36
1 And Betzalel and Oholi'av shall work, and every wise-hearted man in whom יהוה has put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all the work for the consecrated service, according to all that יהוה has commanded." 2 And Moshe called Betzalel and Oholi'av, and every wise-hearted man, in whose heart יהוה had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it. 3 And they received of Moshe all the offering, which B'nei Yisra'el had brought for the work of the consecrated service, wherewith to make it. And they brought yet unto him freewill-offerings every morning. 4 And all the wise men, that wrought all the consecrated work, came every man from his work which they wrought. 5 And they spoke unto Moshe, saying, "The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which יהוה commanded to make." 6 And Moshe gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, "Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the consecrated offering." So the people were restrained from bringing. 7 For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much. 8 And every wise-hearted man among them that wrought the work made the Mishkan with ten curtains: of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, with Keruvim the work of the skillful workman made he them. 9 The length of each curtain was eight and twenty cubits, and the breadth of each curtain four cubits; all the curtains had one measure. 10 And he coupled five curtains one to another; and the other five curtains he coupled one to another. 11 And he made loops of blue upon the edge of the one curtain that was outmost in the first set; likewise he made in the edge of the curtain that was outmost in the second set. 12 Fifty loops made he in the one curtain, and fifty loops made he in the edge of the curtain that was in the second set; the loops were opposite one to another. 13 And he made fifty clasps of gold, and coupled the curtains one to another with the clasps; so the Mishkan was one.
14 And he made curtains of goats' hair for a tent over the Mishkan; eleven curtains he made them. 15 The length of each curtain was thirty cubits, and four cubits the breadth of each curtain; the eleven curtains had one measure. 16 And he coupled five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves. 17 And he made fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that was outmost in the first set, and fifty loops made he upon the edge of the curtain which was outmost in the second set. 18 And he made fifty clasps of brass to couple the tent together, that it might be one. 19 And he made a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering of sealskins above. 20 And he made the boards for the Mishkan of acacia-wood, standing up. 21 Ten cubits was the length of a board, and a cubit and a half the breadth of each board. 22 Each board had two tenons, joined one to another. Thus did he make for all the boards of the Mishkan. 23 And he made the boards for the Mishkan; twenty boards for the south side southward. 24 And he made forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards: two sockets under one board for its two tenons, and two sockets under another board for its two tenons. 25 And for the second side of the Mishkan, on the north side, he made twenty boards, 26 and their forty sockets of silver: two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board. 27 And for the hinder part of the Mishkan westward he made six boards. 28 And two boards made he for the corners of the Mishkan in the hinder part; 29 that they might be double beneath, and in like manner they should be complete unto the top thereof unto the first ring. Thus he did to both of them in the two corners. 30 And there were eight boards, and their sockets of silver, sixteen sockets: under every board two sockets. 31 And he made bars of acacia-wood: five for the boards of the one side of the Mishkan, 32 and five bars for the boards of the other side of the Mishkan, and five bars for the boards of the Mishkan for the hinder part westward. 33 And he made the middle bar to pass through in the midst of the boards from the one end to the other. 34 And he overlaid the boards with gold, and made their rings of gold for holders for the bars, and overlaid the bars with gold. 35 And he made the Parokhet of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen; with the Keruvim the work of the skillful workman made he it. 36 And he made thereunto four pillars of acacia, and overlaid them with gold, their hooks being of gold; and he cast for them four sockets of silver. 37 And he made a screen for the door of the Ohel, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, the work of the weaver in colors; 38 and the five pillars of it with their hooks; and he overlaid their capitals and their fillets with gold; and their five sockets were of brass.

א וְעָשָׂה בְצַלְאֵל וְאָהֳלִיאָב וְכֹל אִישׁ חֲכַם לֵב אֲשֶׁר נָתַן יהוה חָכְמָה וּתְבוּנָה בָּהֵמָּה לָדַעַת לַעֲשֹׂת אֶת כָּל מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדַת הַקֹּדֶשׁ לְכֹל אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה .
ב וַיִּקְרָא מֹשֶׁה אֶל בְּצַלְאֵל וְאֶל אָהֳלִיאָב וְאֶל כָּל אִישׁ חֲכַם לֵב אֲשֶׁר נָתַן יהוה חָכְמָה בְּלִבּוֹ כֹּל אֲשֶׁר נְשָׂאוֹ לִבּוֹ לְקָרְבָה אֶל הַמְּלָאכָה לַעֲשֹׂת אֹתָהּ.
ג וַיִּקְחוּ מִלִּפְנֵי מֹשֶׁה אֵת כָּל הַתְּרוּמָה אֲשֶׁר הֵבִיאוּ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לִמְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדַת הַקֹּדֶשׁ לַעֲשֹׂת אֹתָהּ וְהֵם הֵבִיאוּ אֵלָיו עוֹד נְדָבָה בַּבֹּקֶר בַּבֹּקֶר.
ד וַיָּבֹאוּ כָּל הַחֲכָמִים הָעֹשִׂים אֵת כָּל מְלֶאכֶת הַקֹּדֶשׁ אִישׁ אִישׁ מִמְּלַאכְתּוֹ אֲשֶׁר הֵמָּה עֹשִׂים.
ה וַיֹּאמְרוּ אֶל מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר מַרְבִּים הָעָם לְהָבִיא מִדֵּי הָעֲבֹדָה לַמְּלָאכָה אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה לַעֲשֹׂת אֹתָהּ.
ו וַיְצַו מֹשֶׁה וַיַּעֲבִירוּ קוֹל בַּמַּחֲנֶה לֵאמֹר אִישׁ וְאִשָּׁה אַל יַעֲשׂוּ עוֹד מְלָאכָה לִתְרוּמַת הַקֹּדֶשׁ וַיִּכָּלֵא הָעָם מֵהָבִיא.
ז וְהַמְּלָאכָה הָיְתָה דַיָּם לְכָל הַמְּלָאכָה לַעֲשׂוֹת אֹתָהּ וְהוֹתֵר.
ח וַיַּעֲשׂוּ כָל חֲכַם לֵב בְּעֹשֵׂי הַמְּלָאכָה אֶת הַמִּשְׁכָּן עֶשֶׂר יְרִיעֹת שֵׁשׁ מָשְׁזָר וּתְכֵלֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן וְתוֹלַעַת שָׁנִי כְּרֻבִים מַעֲשֵׂה חֹשֵׁב עָשָׂה אֹתָם.
ט אֹרֶךְ הַיְרִיעָה הָאַחַת שְׁמֹנֶה וְעֶשְׂרִים בָּאַמָּה וְרֹחַב אַרְבַּע בָּאַמָּה הַיְרִיעָה הָאֶחָת מִדָּה אַחַת לְכָל הַיְרִיעֹת.
י וַיְחַבֵּר אֶת חֲמֵשׁ הַיְרִיעֹת אַחַת אֶל אֶחָת וְחָמֵשׁ יְרִיעֹת חִבַּר אַחַת אֶל אֶחָת.
יא וַיַּעַשׂ לֻלְאֹת תְּכֵלֶת עַל שְׂפַת הַיְרִיעָה הָאֶחָת מִקָּצָה בַּמַּחְבָּרֶת כֵּן עָשָׂה בִּשְׂפַת הַיְרִיעָה הַקִּיצוֹנָה בַּמַּחְבֶּרֶת הַשֵּׁנִית.
יב חֲמִשִּׁים לֻלָאֹת עָשָׂה בַּיְרִיעָה הָאֶחָת וַחֲמִשִּׁים לֻלָאֹת עָשָׂה בִּקְצֵה הַיְרִיעָה אֲשֶׁר בַּמַּחְבֶּרֶת הַשֵּׁנִית מַקְבִּילֹת הַלֻּלָאֹת אַחַת אֶל אֶחָת.
יג וַיַּעַשׂ חֲמִשִּׁים קַרְסֵי זָהָב וַיְחַבֵּר אֶת הַיְרִיעֹת אַחַת אֶל אַחַת בַּקְּרָסִים וַיְהִי הַמִּשְׁכָּן אֶחָד.
יד וַיַּעַשׂ יְרִיעֹת עִזִּים לְאֹהֶל עַל הַמִּשְׁכָּן עַשְׁתֵּי עֶשְׂרֵה יְרִיעֹת עָשָׂה אֹתָם.
טו אֹרֶךְ הַיְרִיעָה הָאַחַת שְׁלֹשִׁים בָּאַמָּה וְאַרְבַּע אַמּוֹת רֹחַב הַיְרִיעָה הָאֶחָת מִדָּה אַחַת לְעַשְׁתֵּי עֶשְׂרֵה יְרִיעֹת.
טז וַיְחַבֵּר אֶת חֲמֵשׁ הַיְרִיעֹת לְבָד וְאֶת שֵׁשׁ הַיְרִיעֹת לְבָד.
יז וַיַּעַשׂ לֻלָאֹת חֲמִשִּׁים עַל שְׂפַת הַיְרִיעָה הַקִּיצֹנָה בַּמַּחְבָּרֶת וַחֲמִשִּׁים לֻלָאֹת עָשָׂה עַל שְׂפַת הַיְרִיעָה הַחֹבֶרֶת הַשֵּׁנִית.
יח וַיַּעַשׂ קַרְסֵי נְחֹשֶׁת חֲמִשִּׁים לְחַבֵּר אֶת הָאֹהֶל לִהְיֹת אֶחָד.
יט וַיַּעַשׂ מִכְסֶה לָאֹהֶל עֹרֹת אֵילִם מְאָדָּמִים וּמִכְסֵה עֹרֹת תְּחָשִׁים מִלְמָעְלָה.
כ וַיַּעַשׂ אֶת הַקְּרָשִׁים לַמִּשְׁכָּן עֲצֵי שִׁטִּים עֹמְדִים.
כא עֶשֶׂר אַמֹּת אֹרֶךְ הַקָּרֶשׁ וְאַמָּה וַחֲצִי הָאַמָּה רֹחַב הַקֶּרֶשׁ הָאֶחָד.
כב שְׁתֵּי יָדֹת לַקֶּרֶשׁ הָאֶחָד מְשֻׁלָּבֹת אַחַת אֶל אֶחָת כֵּן עָשָׂה לְכֹל קַרְשֵׁי הַמִּשְׁכָּן.
כג וַיַּעַשׂ אֶת הַקְּרָשִׁים לַמִּשְׁכָּן עֶשְׂרִים קְרָשִׁים לִפְאַת נֶגֶב תֵּימָנָה.
כד וְאַרְבָּעִים אַדְנֵי כֶסֶף עָשָׂה תַּחַת עֶשְׂרִים הַקְּרָשִׁים שְׁנֵי אֲדָנִים תַּחַת הַקֶּרֶשׁ הָאֶחָד לִשְׁתֵּי יְדֹתָיו וּשְׁנֵי אֲדָנִים תַּחַת הַקֶּרֶשׁ הָאֶחָד לִשְׁתֵּי יְדֹתָיו.
כה וּלְצֶלַע הַמִּשְׁכָּן הַשֵּׁנִית לִפְאַת צָפוֹן עָשָׂה עֶשְׂרִים קְרָשִׁים.
כו וְאַרְבָּעִים אַדְנֵיהֶם כָּסֶף שְׁנֵי אֲדָנִים תַּחַת הַקֶּרֶשׁ הָאֶחָד וּשְׁנֵי אֲדָנִים תַּחַת הַקֶּרֶשׁ הָאֶחָד.
כז וּלְיַרְכְּתֵי הַמִּשְׁכָּן יָמָּה עָשָׂה שִׁשָּׁה קְרָשִׁים.
כח וּשְׁנֵי קְרָשִׁים עָשָׂה לִמְקֻצְעֹת הַמִּשְׁכָּן בַּיַּרְכָתָיִם.
כט וְהָיוּ תוֹאֲמִם מִלְּמַטָּה וְיַחְדָּו יִהְיוּ תַמִּים אֶל רֹאשׁוֹ אֶל הַטַּבַּעַת הָאֶחָת כֵּן עָשָׂה לִשְׁנֵיהֶם לִשְׁנֵי הַמִּקְצֹעֹת.
ל וְהָיוּ שְׁמֹנָה קְרָשִׁים וְאַדְנֵיהֶם כֶּסֶף שִׁשָּׁה עָשָׂר אֲדָנִים שְׁנֵי אֲדָנִים שְׁנֵי אֲדָנִים תַּחַת הַקֶּרֶשׁ הָאֶחָד.
לא וַיַּעַשׂ בְּרִיחֵי עֲצֵי שִׁטִּים חֲמִשָּׁה לְקַרְשֵׁי צֶלַע הַמִּשְׁכָּן הָאֶחָת.
לב וַחֲמִשָּׁה בְרִיחִם לְקַרְשֵׁי צֶלַע הַמִּשְׁכָּן הַשֵּׁנִית וַחֲמִשָּׁה בְרִיחִם לְקַרְשֵׁי הַמִּשְׁכָּן לַיַּרְכָתַיִם יָמָּה.
לג וַיַּעַשׂ אֶת הַבְּרִיחַ הַתִּיכֹן לִבְרֹחַ בְּתוֹךְ הַקְּרָשִׁים מִן הַקָּצֶה אֶל הַקָּצֶה.
לד וְאֶת הַקְּרָשִׁים צִפָּה זָהָב וְאֶת טַבְּעֹתָם עָשָׂה זָהָב בָּתִּים לַבְּרִיחִם וַיְצַף אֶת הַבְּרִיחִם זָהָב.
לה וַיַּעַשׂ אֶת הַפָּרֹכֶת תְּכֵלֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן וְתוֹלַעַת שָׁנִי וְשֵׁשׁ מָשְׁזָר מַעֲשֵׂה חֹשֵׁב עָשָׂה אֹתָהּ כְּרֻבִים.
לו וַיַּעַשׂ לָהּ אַרְבָּעָה עַמּוּדֵי שִׁטִּים וַיְצַפֵּם זָהָב וָוֵיהֶם זָהָב וַיִּצֹק לָהֶם אַרְבָּעָה אַדְנֵי כָסֶף. לז וַיַּעַשׂ מָסָךְ לְפֶתַח הָאֹהֶל תְּכֵלֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן וְתוֹלַעַת שָׁנִי וְשֵׁשׁ מָשְׁזָר מַעֲשֵׂה רֹקֵם.
לח וְאֶת עַמּוּדָיו חֲמִשָּׁה וְאֶת וָוֵיהֶם וְצִפָּה רָאשֵׁיהֶם וַחֲשֻׁקֵיהֶם זָהָב וְאַדְנֵיהֶם חֲמִשָּׁה נְחֹשֶׁת.

Shemot Chapter 37
1 And Betzalel made the Aron of acacia-wood: two cubits and a half was the length of it, and a cubit and a half the breadth of it, and a cubit and a half the height of it. 2 And he overlaid it with pure gold within and without, and made a crown of gold to it round about. 3 And he cast for it four rings of gold, in the four feet thereof: even two rings on the one side of it, and two rings on the other side of it. 4 And he made staves of acacia-wood, and overlaid them with gold. 5 And he put the staves into the rings on the sides of the Aron, to bear the Aron. 6 And he made a Kaporet of pure gold: two cubits and a half was the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof. 7 And he made two Keruvim of gold: of beaten work made he them, at the two ends of the Kaporet: 8 one keruv at the one end, and one keruv at the other end; of one piece with the Kaporet made he the Keruvim at the two ends thereof. 9 And the Keruvim spread out their wings on high, screening the Kaporet with their wings, with their faces one to another; toward the Kaporet were the faces of the Keruvim.
10 And he made the Shulkhan of acacia-wood: two cubits was the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof. 11 And he overlaid it with pure gold, and made thereto a crown of gold round about. 12 And he made unto it a border of a hand-breadth round about, and made a golden crown to the border thereof round about. 13 And he cast for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the four corners that were on the four feet thereof. 14 Close by the border were the rings, the holders for the staves to bear the Shulkhan. 15 And he made the staves of acacia-wood, and overlaid them with gold, to bear the Shulkhan. 16 And he made the vessels which were upon the Shulkhan, the dishes thereof, and the pans thereof, and the bowls thereof, and the jars thereof, wherewith to pour out, of pure gold.
17 And he made the Menorah of pure gold: of beaten work made he the Menorah, even its base, and its shaft; its cups, its knops, and its flowers, were of one piece with it. 18 And there were six branches going out of the sides thereof: three branches of the Menorah out of the one side thereof, and three branches of the Menorah out of the other side thereof; 19 three cups made like almond-blossoms in one branch, a knop and a flower; and three cups made like almond-blossoms in the other branch, a knop and a flower. So for the six branches going out of the Menorah. 20 And in the Menorah were four cups made like almond-blossoms, the knops thereof, and the flowers thereof; 21 and a knop under two branches of one piece with it, and a knop under two branches of one piece with it, and a knop under two branches of one piece with it, for the six branches going out of it. 22 Their knops and their branches were of one piece with it; the whole of it was one beaten work of pure gold. 23 And he made the lamps thereof, seven, and the tongs thereof, and the snuffdishes thereof, of pure gold. 24 Of a talent of pure gold made he it, and all the vessels thereof.
25 And he made the Mizbe'akh HaKetoret of acacia-wood: a cubit was the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, four-square; and two cubits was the height thereof; the horns thereof were of one piece with it. 26 And he overlaid it with pure gold, the top thereof, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns of it; and he made unto it a crown of gold round about. 27 And he made for it two golden rings under the crown thereof, upon the two ribs thereof, upon the two sides of it, for holders for staves wherewith to bear it. 28 And he made the staves of acacia-wood, and overlaid them with gold. 29 And he made the kadosh anointing oil, and the pure incense of sweet spices, after the art of the perfumer. | שמות פרק לז

ד וַיַּעַשׂ בַּדֵּי עֲצֵי שִׁטִּים וַיְצַף אֹתָם זָהָב.
ה וַיָּבֵא אֶת הַבַּדִּים בַּטַּבָּעֹת עַל צַלְעֹת הָאָרֹן לָשֵׂאת אֶת הָאָרֹן.
ו וַיַּעַשׂ כַּפֹּרֶת זָהָב טָהוֹר אַמָּתַיִם וָחֵצִי אָרְכָּהּ וְאַמָּה וָחֵצִי רָחְבָּהּ.
ז וַיַּעַשׂ שְׁנֵי כְרֻבִים זָהָב מִקְשָׁה עָשָׂה אֹתָם מִשְּׁנֵי קְצוֹת הַכַּפֹּרֶת.
ח כְּרוּב אֶחָד מִקָּצָה מִזֶּה וּכְרוּב אֶחָד מִקָּצָה מִזֶּה מִן הַכַּפֹּרֶת עָשָׂה אֶת הַכְּרֻבִים מִשְּׁנֵי קצוותו (קְצוֹתָיו).
ט וַיִּהְיוּ הַכְּרֻבִים פֹּרְשֵׂי כְנָפַיִם לְמַעְלָה סֹכְכִים בְּכַנְפֵיהֶם עַל הַכַּפֹּרֶת וּפְנֵיהֶם אִישׁ אֶל אָחִיו אֶל הַכַּפֹּרֶת הָיוּ פְּנֵי הַכְּרֻבִים.
י וַיַּעַשׂ אֶת הַשֻּׁלְחָן עֲצֵי שִׁטִּים אַמָּתַיִם אָרְכּוֹ וְאַמָּה רָחְבּוֹ וְאַמָּה וָחֵצִי קֹמָתוֹ.
יא וַיְצַף אֹתוֹ זָהָב טָהוֹר וַיַּעַשׂ לוֹ זֵר זָהָב סָבִיב.
יב וַיַּעַשׂ לוֹ מִסְגֶּרֶת טֹפַח סָבִיב וַיַּעַשׂ זֵר זָהָב לְמִסְגַּרְתּוֹ סָבִיב.
יג וַיִּצֹק לוֹ אַרְבַּע טַבְּעֹת זָהָב וַיִּתֵּן אֶת הַטַּבָּעֹת עַל אַרְבַּע הַפֵּאֹת אֲשֶׁר לְאַרְבַּע רַגְלָיו.
יד לְעֻמַּת הַמִּסְגֶּרֶת הָיוּ הַטַּבָּעֹת בָּתִּים לַבַּדִּים לָשֵׂאת אֶת הַשֻּׁלְחָן.
טו וַיַּעַשׂ אֶת הַבַּדִּים עֲצֵי שִׁטִּים וַיְצַף אֹתָם זָהָב לָשֵׂאת אֶת הַשֻּׁלְחָן.
טז וַיַּעַשׂ אֶת הַכֵּלִים אֲשֶׁר עַל הַשֻּׁלְחָן אֶת קְעָרֹתָיו וְאֶת כַּפֹּתָיו וְאֵת מְנַקִּיֹּתָיו וְאֶת הַקְּשָׂוֹת אֲשֶׁר יֻסַּךְ בָּהֵן זָהָב טָהוֹר.
יז וַיַּעַשׂ אֶת הַמְּנֹרָה זָהָב טָהוֹר מִקְשָׁה עָשָׂה אֶת הַמְּנֹרָה יְרֵכָהּ וְקָנָהּ גְּבִיעֶיהָ כַּפְתֹּרֶיהָ וּפְרָחֶיהָ מִמֶּנָּה הָיוּ.
יח וְשִׁשָּׁה קָנִים יֹצְאִים מִצִּדֶּיהָ שְׁלֹשָׁה קְנֵי מְנֹרָה מִצִּדָּהּ הָאֶחָד וּשְׁלֹשָׁה קְנֵי מְנֹרָה מִצִּדָּהּ הַשֵּׁנִי.
יט שְׁלֹשָׁה גְבִעִים מְשֻׁקָּדִים בַּקָּנֶה הָאֶחָד כַּפְתֹּר וָפֶרַח וּשְׁלֹשָׁה גְבִעִים מְשֻׁקָּדִים בְּקָנֶה אֶחָד כַּפְתֹּר וָפָרַח כֵּן לְשֵׁשֶׁת הַקָּנִים הַיֹּצְאִים מִן הַמְּנֹרָה.
כ וּבַמְּנֹרָה אַרְבָּעָה גְבִעִים מְשֻׁקָּדִים כַּפְתֹּרֶיהָ וּפְרָחֶיהָ.
כא וְכַפְתֹּר תַּחַת שְׁנֵי הַקָּנִים מִמֶּנָּה וְכַפְתֹּר תַּחַת שְׁנֵי הַקָּנִים מִמֶּנָּה וְכַפְתֹּר תַּחַת שְׁנֵי הַקָּנִים מִמֶּנָּה לְשֵׁשֶׁת הַקָּנִים הַיֹּצְאִים מִמֶּנָּה.
כב כַּפְתֹּרֵיהֶם וּקְנֹתָם מִמֶּנָּה הָיוּ כֻּלָּהּ מִקְשָׁה אַחַת זָהָב טָהוֹר.
כג וַיַּעַשׂ אֶת נֵרֹתֶיהָ שִׁבְעָה וּמַלְקָחֶיהָ וּמַחְתֹּתֶיהָ זָהָב טָהוֹר.
כד כִּכָּר זָהָב טָהוֹר עָשָׂה אֹתָהּ וְאֵת כָּל כֵּלֶיהָ.
כה וַיַּעַשׂ אֶת מִזְבַּח הַקְּטֹרֶת עֲצֵי שִׁטִּים אַמָּה אָרְכּוֹ וְאַמָּה רָחְבּוֹ רָבוּעַ וְאַמָּתַיִם קֹמָתוֹ מִמֶּנּוּ הָיוּ קַרְנֹתָיו.
כו וַיְצַף אֹתוֹ זָהָב טָהוֹר אֶת גַּגּוֹ וְאֶת קִירֹתָיו סָבִיב וְאֶת קַרְנֹתָיו וַיַּעַשׂ לוֹ זֵר זָהָב סָבִיב.
כז וּשְׁתֵּי טַבְּעֹת זָהָב עָשָׂה לוֹ מִתַּחַת לְזֵרוֹ עַל שְׁתֵּי צַלְעֹתָיו עַל שְׁנֵי צִדָּיו לְבָתִּים לְבַדִּים לָשֵׂאת אֹתוֹ בָּהֶם.
כח וַיַּעַשׂ אֶת הַבַּדִּים עֲצֵי שִׁטִּים וַיְצַף אֹתָם זָהָב.
כט וַיַּעַשׂ אֶת שֶׁמֶן הַמִּשְׁחָה קֹדֶשׁ וְאֶת קְטֹרֶת הַסַּמִּים טָהוֹר מַעֲשֵׂה רֹקֵחַ.

Shemot Chapter 38
1 And he made the Mizbe'akh HaOlah of acacia-wood: five cubits was the length thereof, and five cubits the breadth thereof, four-square, and three cubits the height thereof. 2 And he made the horns thereof upon the four corners of it; the horns thereof were of one piece with it; and he overlaid it with brass. 3 And he made all the vessels of the Mizbe'akh, the pots, and the shovels, and the basins, the flesh-hooks, and the fire-pans; all the vessels thereof made he of brass. 4 And he made for the Mizbe'akh a grating of network of brass, under the ledge round it beneath, reaching halfway up. 5 And he cast four rings for the four ends of the grating of brass, to be holders for the staves. 6 And he made the staves of acacia-wood, and overlaid them with brass. 7 And he put the staves into the rings on the sides of the Mizbe'akh, wherewith to bear it; he made it hollow with planks.
8 And he made the Kiyor of brass, and the base thereof of brass, of the mirrors of the serving women that did service at the door of the Ohel Mo'ed. 9 And he made the court; for the south side southward the hangings of the court were of fine twined linen, a hundred cubits. 10 Their pillars were twenty, and their sockets twenty, of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets were of silver. 11 And for the north side a hundred cubits, their pillars twenty, and their sockets twenty, of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver. 12 And for the west side were hangings of fifty cubits, their pillars ten, and their sockets ten; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver. 13 And for the east side eastward fifty cubits. 14 The hangings for the one side [of the gate] were fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three. 15 And so for the other side; on this hand and that hand by the gate of the court were hangings of fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three. 16 All the hangings of the court round about were of fine twined linen. 17 And the sockets for the pillars were of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver; and the overlaying of their capitals of silver; and all the pillars of the court were filleted with silver. 18 And the screen for the gate of the court was the work of the weaver in colors, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen; and twenty cubits was the length, and the height in the breadth was five cubits, answerable to the hangings of the court. 19 And their pillars were four, and their sockets four, of brass; their hooks of silver, and the overlaying of their capitals and their fillets of silver. 20 And all the pins of the Mishkan, and of the court round about, were of brass.

טו וְלַכָּתֵף הַשֵּׁנִית מִזֶּה וּמִזֶּה לְשַׁעַר הֶחָצֵר קְלָעִים חֲמֵשׁ עֶשְׂרֵה אַמָּה עַמֻּדֵיהֶם שְׁלֹשָׁה וְאַדְנֵיהֶם שְׁלֹשָׁה.
טז כָּל קַלְעֵי הֶחָצֵר סָבִיב שֵׁשׁ מָשְׁזָר.
יז וְהָאֲדָנִים לָעַמֻּדִים נְחֹשֶׁת וָוֵי הָעַמּוּדִים וַחֲשׁוּקֵיהֶם כֶּסֶף וְצִפּוּי רָאשֵׁיהֶם כָּסֶף וְהֵם מְחֻשָּׁקִים כֶּסֶף כֹּל עַמֻּדֵי הֶחָצֵר.
יח וּמָסַךְ שַׁעַר הֶחָצֵר מַעֲשֵׂה רֹקֵם תְּכֵלֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן וְתוֹלַעַת שָׁנִי וְשֵׁשׁ מָשְׁזָר וְעֶשְׂרִים אַמָּה אֹרֶךְ וְקוֹמָה בְרֹחַב חָמֵשׁ אַמּוֹת לְעֻמַּת קַלְעֵי הֶחָצֵר.

Shemot Chapter 38
21 These are the accounts of the Mishkan, even the Mishkan HaEdut, as they were rendered according to the commandment of Moshe, through the service of the Levi'im, by the hand of Itamar, Ben Aharon the Kohen. 22 And Betzalel Ben Uri, Ben Hur, of the tribe of Yehudah, made all that יהוה commanded Moshe. 23 And with him was Oholi'av, Ben Akhisamakh, of the tribe of Dan, a craftsman, and a skillful workman, and a weaver in colors, in blue, and in purple, and in scarlet, and fine linen.
24 All the gold that was used for the work in all the consecrated work, even the gold of the offering, was twenty-nine talents, and seven hundred and thirty shekels, after the Shekel HaKodesh. 25 And the silver of them that were numbered of the assembly was a hundred talents, and a thousand seven hundred and seventy-five shekels, after the Shekel HaKodesh: 26 a beka a head, that is, half a shekel, after the Shekel HaKodesh, for every one that passed over to them that are numbered, from twenty years old and upward, for six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty men. 27 And the hundred talents of silver were for casting the consecrated sockets, and the sockets of the veil: a hundred sockets for the hundred talents, a talent for a socket. 28 And of the thousand seven hundred and seventy-five shekels he made hooks for the pillars, and overlaid their capitals, and made fillets for them. 29 And the brass of the offering was seventy talents and two thousand and four hundred shekels. 30 And therewith he made the sockets to the door of the Ohel Mo'ed, and the brazen Mizbe'akh, and the brazen grating for it, and all the vessels of the Mizbe'akh, 31 and the sockets of the court round about, and the sockets of the gate of the court, and all the pins of the Mishkan, and all the pins of the court round about.

כא אֵלֶּה פְקוּדֵי הַמִּשְׁכָּן מִשְׁכַּן הָעֵדֻת אֲשֶׁר פֻּקַּד עַל פִּי מֹשֶׁה עֲבֹדַת הַלְוִיִּם בְּיַד אִיתָמָר בֶּן אַהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֵן.
כב וּבְצַלְאֵל בֶּן אוּרִי בֶן חוּר לְמַטֵּה יְהוּדָה עָשָׂה אֵת כָּל אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה אֶת מֹשֶׁה.
כג וְאִתּוֹ אָהֳלִיאָב בֶּן אֲחִיסָמָךְ לְמַטֵּה דָן חָרָשׁ וְחֹשֵׁב וְרֹקֵם בַּתְּכֵלֶת וּבָאַרְגָּמָן וּבְתוֹלַעַת הַשָּׁנִי וּבַשֵּׁשׁ.
כד כָּל הַזָּהָב הֶעָשׂוּי לַמְּלָאכָה בְּכֹל מְלֶאכֶת הַקֹּדֶשׁ וַיְהִי זְהַב הַתְּנוּפָה תֵּשַׁע וְעֶשְׂרִים כִּכָּר וּשְׁבַע מֵאוֹת וּשְׁלֹשִׁים שֶׁקֶל בְּשֶׁקֶל הַקֹּדֶשׁ.
כה וְכֶסֶף פְּקוּדֵי הָעֵדָה מְאַת כִּכָּר וְאֶלֶף וּשְׁבַע מֵאוֹת וַחֲמִשָּׁה וְשִׁבְעִים שֶׁקֶל בְּשֶׁקֶל הַקֹּדֶשׁ.
כו בֶּקַע לַגֻּלְגֹּלֶת מַחֲצִית הַשֶּׁקֶל בְּשֶׁקֶל הַקֹּדֶשׁ לְכֹל הָעֹבֵר עַל הַפְּקֻדִים מִבֶּן עֶשְׂרִים שָׁנָה וָמַעְלָה לְשֵׁשׁ מֵאוֹת אֶלֶף וּשְׁלֹשֶׁת אֲלָפִים וַחֲמֵשׁ מֵאוֹת וַחֲמִשִּׁים.
כז וַיְהִי מְאַת כִּכַּר הַכֶּסֶף לָצֶקֶת אֵת אַדְנֵי הַקֹּדֶשׁ וְאֵת אַדְנֵי הַפָּרֹכֶת מְאַת אֲדָנִים לִמְאַת הַכִּכָּר כִּכָּר לָאָדֶן.
כח וְאֶת הָאֶלֶף וּשְׁבַע הַמֵּאוֹת וַחֲמִשָּׁה וְשִׁבְעִים עָשָׂה וָוִים לָעַמּוּדִים וְצִפָּה רָאשֵׁיהֶם וְחִשַּׁק אֹתָם.
כט וּנְחֹשֶׁת הַתְּנוּפָה שִׁבְעִים כִּכָּר וְאַלְפַּיִם וְאַרְבַּע מֵאוֹת שָׁקֶל.
ל וַיַּעַשׂ בָּהּ אֶת אַדְנֵי פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וְאֵת מִזְבַּח הַנְּחֹשֶׁת וְאֶת מִכְבַּר הַנְּחֹשֶׁת אֲשֶׁר לוֹ וְאֵת כָּל כְּלֵי הַמִּזְבֵּחַ.
לא וְאֶת אַדְנֵי הֶחָצֵר סָבִיב וְאֶת אַדְנֵי שַׁעַר הֶחָצֵר וְאֵת כָּל יִתְדֹת הַמִּשְׁכָּן וְאֶת כָּל יִתְדֹת הֶחָצֵר סָבִיב.

Shemot Chapter 39
1 And of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made plaited garments, for ministering in HaKodesh, and made the k'doshim garments for Aharon, as יהוה commanded Moshe.
2 And he made the Efod of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen. 3 And they did beat the gold into thin plates, and cut it into threads, to work it in the blue, and in the purple, and in the scarlet, and in the fine linen, the work of the skillful workman. 4 They made shoulder-pieces for it, joined together; at the two ends was it joined together. 5 And the skillfully woven band, that was upon it, wherewith to gird it on, was of the same piece and like the work thereof: of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, as יהוה commanded Moshe.
6 And they wrought the shoham stones, inclosed in settings of gold, graven with the engravings of a signet, according to the names of B'nei Yisra'el. 7 And he put them on the shoulder-pieces of the Efod, to be stones of memorial for B'nei Yisra'el, as יהוה commanded Moshe.
8 And he made the breastplate, the work of the skillful workman, like the work of the Efod: of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen. 9 It was four-square; they made the breastplate double; a span was the length thereof, and a span the breadth thereof, being double. 10 And they set in it four rows of stones: a row of an odem, a pit’dah, and a bareket was the first row. 11 And the second row, a nofekh, a sapir, and a yahalom. 12 And the third row, a leshem, a shevo, and an akhlamah. 13 And the fourth row, a tarshish, a shoham, and a musabot; they were inclosed in fittings of gold in their settings. 14 And the stones were according to the names of B'nei Yisra'el, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet, every one according to his name, for the twelve tribes. 15 And they made upon the breastplate plaited chains, of wreathen work of pure gold. 16 And they made two settings of gold, and two gold rings; and put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate. 17 And they put the two wreathen chains of gold on the two rings at the ends of the breastplate. 18 And the other two ends of the two wreathen chains they put on the two settings, and put them on the shoulder-pieces of the Efod, in the forepart thereof. 19 And they made two rings of gold, and put them upon the two ends of the breastplate, upon the edge thereof, which was toward the side of the Efod inward. 20 And they made two rings of gold, and put them on the two shoulder-pieces of the Efod underneath, in the forepart thereof, close by the coupling thereof, above the skillfully woven band of the Efod. 21 And they did bind the breastplate by the rings thereof unto the rings of the Efod with a thread of blue, that it might be upon the skillfully woven band of the Efod, and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the Efod, as יהוה commanded Moshe.
22 And he made the robe of the Efod of woven work, all of tekhelet; 23 and the hole of the robe in the midst thereof, as the hole of a coat of mail, with a binding round about the hole of it, that it should not be torn. 24 And they made upon the skirts of the robe pomegranates of tekhelet, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen. 25 And they made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates upon the skirts of the robe round about, between the pomegranates: 26 a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, upon the skirts of the robe round about, to minister in, as יהוה commanded Moshe.
27 And they made the tunics of fine linen of woven work for Aharon, and for his sons, 28 and the miter of fine linen, and the goodly head-turbans of fine linen, and the linen breeches of fine twined linen, 29 and the girdle of fine twined linen, and tekhelet, and purple, and scarlet, the work of the weaver in colors, as יהוה commanded Moshe.
30 And they made the plate of the kadosh crown of pure gold, and wrote upon it a writing, like the engravings of a signet: KADOSH unto יהוה . And31 they tied unto it a thread of tekhelet, to fasten it upon the miter above, as יהוה commanded Moshe.
32 Thus was finished all the work of the Mishkan of the Ohel Mo'ed; and B'nei Yisra'el did according to all that יהוה commanded Moshe, so did they.
33 And they brought the Mishkan unto Moshe, the Ohel, and all its furnishings, its clasps, its boards, its bars, and its pillars, and its sockets; 34 and the covering of rams' skins dyed red, and the covering of sealskins, and the veil of the screen; 35 the Aron HaEdut, and the staves thereof, and the Kaporet; 36 the Shulkhan, all the vessels thereof, and the Lekhem HaPanim; 37 the pure Menorah, the lamps thereof, even the lamps to be set in order, and all the vessels thereof, and the oil for the light; 38 and the golden Mizbe'akh, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the screen for the door of the Ohel; 39 the brazen Mizbe'akh, and its grating of brass, its staves, and all its vessels, the Kiyor and its base; 40 the hangings of the court, its pillars, and its sockets, and the screen for the gate of the court, the cords thereof, and the pins thereof, and all the instruments of the service of the Mishkan of the Ohel Mo'ed; 41 the plaited garments for ministering in HaKodesh; the k'doshim garments for Aharon the Kohen, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the Kohen's office. 42 According to all that יהוה commanded Moshe, so B'nei Yisra'el did all the work. 43 And Moshe saw all the work, and, behold, they had done it; as יהוה had commanded, even so had they done it. And Moshe blessed them.

א וּמִן הַתְּכֵלֶת וְהָאַרְגָּמָן וְתוֹלַעַת הַשָּׁנִי עָשׂוּ בִגְדֵי שְׂרָד לְשָׁרֵת בַּקֹּדֶשׁ וַיַּעֲשׂוּ אֶת בִּגְדֵי הַקֹּדֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר לְאַהֲרֹן כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה אֶת מֹשֶׁה.
ב וַיַּעַשׂ אֶת הָאֵפֹד זָהָב תְּכֵלֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן וְתוֹלַעַת שָׁנִי וְשֵׁשׁ מָשְׁזָר.
ג וַיְרַקְּעוּ אֶת פַּחֵי הַזָּהָב וְקִצֵּץ פְּתִילִם לַעֲשׂוֹת בְּתוֹךְ הַתְּכֵלֶת וּבְתוֹךְ הָאַרְגָּמָן וּבְתוֹךְ תּוֹלַעַת הַשָּׁנִי וּבְתוֹךְ הַשֵּׁשׁ מַעֲשֵׂה חֹשֵׁב.
ד כְּתֵפֹת עָשׂוּ לוֹ חֹבְרֹת עַל שְׁנֵי קצוותו (קְצוֹתָיו) חֻבָּר.
ה וְחֵשֶׁב אֲפֻדָּתוֹ אֲשֶׁר עָלָיו מִמֶּנּוּ הוּא כְּמַעֲשֵׂהוּ זָהָב תְּכֵלֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן וְתוֹלַעַת שָׁנִי וְשֵׁשׁ מָשְׁזָר כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה אֶת מֹשֶׁה.
ו וַיַּעֲשׂוּ אֶת אַבְנֵי הַשֹּׁהַם מֻסַבֹּת מִשְׁבְּצֹת זָהָב מְפֻתָּחֹת פִּתּוּחֵי חוֹתָם עַל שְׁמוֹת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל.
ז וַיָּשֶׂם אֹתָם עַל כִּתְפֹת הָאֵפֹד אַבְנֵי זִכָּרוֹן לִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה אֶת מֹשֶׁה.
ח וַיַּעַשׂ אֶת הַחֹשֶׁן מַעֲשֵׂה חֹשֵׁב כְּמַעֲשֵׂה אֵפֹד זָהָב תְּכֵלֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן וְתוֹלַעַת שָׁנִי וְשֵׁשׁ מָשְׁזָר.
ט רָבוּעַ הָיָה כָּפוּל עָשׂוּ אֶת הַחֹשֶׁן זֶרֶת אָרְכּוֹ וְזֶרֶת רָחְבּוֹ כָּפוּל.
י וַיְמַלְאוּ בוֹ אַרְבָּעָה טוּרֵי אָבֶן טוּר אֹדֶם פִּטְדָה וּבָרֶקֶת הַטּוּר הָאֶחָד.
יא וְהַטּוּר הַשֵּׁנִי נֹפֶךְ סַפִּיר וְיָהֲלֹם.
יב וְהַטּוּר הַשְּׁלִישִׁי לֶשֶׁם שְׁבוֹ וְאַחְלָמָה.
יג וְהַטּוּר הָרְבִיעִי תַּרְשִׁישׁ שֹׁהַם וְיָשְׁפֵה מוּסַבֹּת מִשְׁבְּצֹת זָהָב בְּמִלֻּאֹתָם.
יד וְהָאֲבָנִים עַל שְׁמֹת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל הֵנָּה שְׁתֵּים עֶשְׂרֵה עַל שְׁמֹתָם פִּתּוּחֵי חֹתָם אִישׁ עַל שְׁמוֹ לִשְׁנֵים עָשָׂר שָׁבֶט.
טו וַיַּעֲשׂוּ עַל הַחֹשֶׁן שַׁרְשְׁרֹת גַּבְלֻת מַעֲשֵׂה עֲבֹת זָהָב טָהוֹר.
טז וַיַּעֲשׂוּ שְׁתֵּי מִשְׁבְּצֹת זָהָב וּשְׁתֵּי טַבְּעֹת זָהָב וַיִּתְּנוּ אֶת שְׁתֵּי הַטַּבָּעֹת עַל שְׁנֵי קְצוֹת הַחֹשֶׁן.
יז וַיִּתְּנוּ שְׁתֵּי הָעֲבֹתֹת הַזָּהָב עַל שְׁתֵּי הַטַּבָּעֹת עַל קְצוֹת הַחֹשֶׁן.
יח וְאֵת שְׁתֵּי קְצוֹת שְׁתֵּי הָעֲבֹתֹת נָתְנוּ עַל שְׁתֵּי הַמִּשְׁבְּצֹת וַיִּתְּנֻם עַל כִּתְפֹת הָאֵפֹד אֶל מוּל פָּנָיו.
יט וַיַּעֲשׂוּ שְׁתֵּי טַבְּעֹת זָהָב וַיָּשִׂימוּ עַל שְׁנֵי קְצוֹת הַחֹשֶׁן עַל שְׂפָתוֹ אֲשֶׁר אֶל עֵבֶר הָאֵפֹד בָּיְתָה.
כ וַיַּעֲשׂוּ שְׁתֵּי טַבְּעֹת זָהָב וַיִּתְּנֻם עַל שְׁתֵּי כִתְפֹת הָאֵפֹד מִלְּמַטָּה מִמּוּל פָּנָיו לְעֻמַּת מַחְבַּרְתּוֹ מִמַּעַל לְחֵשֶׁב הָאֵפֹד.
כא וַיִּרְכְּסוּ אֶת הַחֹשֶׁן מִטַּבְּעֹתָיו אֶל טַבְּעֹת הָאֵפֹד בִּפְתִיל תְּכֵלֶת לִהְיֹת עַל חֵשֶׁב הָאֵפֹד וְלֹא יִזַּח הַחֹשֶׁן מֵעַל הָאֵפֹד כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה אֶת מֹשֶׁה.
כב וַיַּעַשׂ אֶת מְעִיל הָאֵפֹד מַעֲשֵׂה אֹרֵג כְּלִיל תְּכֵלֶת.
כג וּפִי הַמְּעִיל בְּתוֹכוֹ כְּפִי תַחְרָא שָׂפָה לְפִיו סָבִיב לֹא יִקָּרֵעַ.
כד וַיַּעֲשׂוּ עַל שׁוּלֵי הַמְּעִיל רִמּוֹנֵי תְּכֵלֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן וְתוֹלַעַת שָׁנִי מָשְׁזָר.
כה וַיַּעֲשׂוּ פַעֲמֹנֵי זָהָב טָהוֹר וַיִּתְּנוּ אֶת הַפַּעֲמֹנִים בְּתוֹךְ הָרִמֹּנִים עַל שׁוּלֵי הַמְּעִיל סָבִיב בְּתוֹךְ הָרִמֹּנִים.
כו פַּעֲמֹן וְרִמֹּן פַּעֲמֹן וְרִמֹּן עַל שׁוּלֵי הַמְּעִיל סָבִיב לְשָׁרֵת כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה אֶת מֹשֶׁה.
כז וַיַּעֲשׂוּ אֶת הַכָּתְנֹת שֵׁשׁ מַעֲשֵׂה אֹרֵג לְאַהֲרֹן וּלְבָנָיו.
כח וְאֵת הַמִּצְנֶפֶת שֵׁשׁ וְאֶת פַּאֲרֵי הַמִּגְבָּעֹת שֵׁשׁ וְאֶת מִכְנְסֵי הַבָּד שֵׁשׁ מָשְׁזָר.
כט וְאֶת הָאַבְנֵט שֵׁשׁ מָשְׁזָר וּתְכֵלֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן וְתוֹלַעַת שָׁנִי מַעֲשֵׂה רֹקֵם כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה אֶת מֹשֶׁה.
ל וַיַּעֲשׂוּ אֶת צִיץ נֵזֶר הַקֹּדֶשׁ זָהָב טָהוֹר וַיִּכְתְּבוּ עָלָיו מִכְתַּב פִּתּוּחֵי חוֹתָם קֹדֶשׁ לַיהוה .
לא וַיִּתְּנוּ עָלָיו פְּתִיל תְּכֵלֶת לָתֵת עַל הַמִּצְנֶפֶת מִלְמָעְלָה כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה אֶת מֹשֶׁה.
לב וַתֵּכֶל כָּל עֲבֹדַת מִשְׁכַּן אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וַיַּעֲשׂוּ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה אֶת מֹשֶׁה כֵּן עָשׂוּ.
לג וַיָּבִיאוּ אֶת הַמִּשְׁכָּן אֶל מֹשֶׁה אֶת הָאֹהֶל וְאֶת כָּל כֵּלָיו קְרָסָיו קְרָשָׁיו בְּרִיחָו וְעַמֻּדָיו וַאֲדָנָיו.
לד וְאֶת מִכְסֵה עוֹרֹת הָאֵילִם הַמְאָדָּמִים וְאֶת מִכְסֵה עֹרֹת הַתְּחָשִׁים וְאֵת פָּרֹכֶת הַמָּסָךְ.
לה אֶת אֲרוֹן הָעֵדֻת וְאֶת בַּדָּיו וְאֵת הַכַּפֹּרֶת. לו אֶת הַשֻּׁלְחָן אֶת כָּל כֵּלָיו וְאֵת לֶחֶם הַפָּנִים.
לז אֶת הַמְּנֹרָה הַטְּהֹרָה אֶת נֵרֹתֶיהָ נֵרֹת הַמַּעֲרָכָה וְאֶת כָּל כֵּלֶיהָ וְאֵת שֶׁמֶן הַמָּאוֹר.
לח וְאֵת מִזְבַּח הַזָּהָב וְאֵת שֶׁמֶן הַמִּשְׁחָה וְאֵת קְטֹרֶת הַסַּמִּים וְאֵת מָסַךְ פֶּתַח הָאֹהֶל.
לט אֵת מִזְבַּח הַנְּחֹשֶׁת וְאֶת מִכְבַּר הַנְּחֹשֶׁת אֲשֶׁר לוֹ אֶת בַּדָּיו וְאֶת כָּל כֵּלָיו אֶת הַכִּיֹּר וְאֶת כַּנּוֹ.
מ אֵת קַלְעֵי הֶחָצֵר אֶת עַמֻּדֶיהָ וְאֶת אֲדָנֶיהָ וְאֶת הַמָּסָךְ לְשַׁעַר הֶחָצֵר אֶת מֵיתָרָיו וִיתֵדֹתֶיהָ וְאֵת כָּל כְּלֵי עֲבֹדַת הַמִּשְׁכָּן לְאֹהֶל מוֹעֵד.
מא אֶת בִּגְדֵי הַשְּׂרָד לְשָׁרֵת בַּקֹּדֶשׁ אֶת בִּגְדֵי הַקֹּדֶשׁ לְאַהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֵן וְאֶת בִּגְדֵי בָנָיו לְכַהֵן.
מב כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה אֶת מֹשֶׁה כֵּן עָשׂוּ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֵת כָּל הָעֲבֹדָה.
מג וַיַּרְא מֹשֶׁה אֶת כָּל הַמְּלָאכָה וְהִנֵּה עָשׂוּ אֹתָהּ כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה כֵּן עָשׂוּ וַיְבָרֶךְ אֹתָם מֹשֶׁה.

Shemot Chapter 40
1 And יהוה spoke unto Moshe, saying, 2 "On the day of the first Khodesh shall you rear up the Mishkan of the Ohel Mo'ed. 3 And you shall put therein the Aron HaEdut, and you shall screen the Aron with the Parokhet. 4 And you shall bring in the Shulkhan, and set in order the Lekhem that is upon it; and you shall bring in the Menorah, and light the lamps thereof. 5 And you shall set the Mizbe'akh HaZahav for incense before the Aron HaEdut, and put the screen of the door to the Mishkan. 6 And you shall set the Mizbe'akh HaOlah before the door of the Mishkan of the Ohel Mo'ed. 7 And you shall set the Kiyor between the Ohel Mo'ed and the Mizbe'akh, and shall put water therein. 8 And you shall set up the court round about, and hang up the screen of the gate of the court. 9 And you shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the Mishkan, and all that is therein, and shall hallow it, and all the furnishings thereof; and it shall be kodesh. 10 And you shall anoint the Mizbe'akh HaOlah, and all its vessels, and consecrate the Mizbe'akh; and the Mizbe'akh shall be Kodesh Kadashim. 11 And you shall anoint the Kiyor and its base, and hallow it.
12 And you shall bring Aharon and his sons unto the door of the Ohel Mo'ed, and shall wash them with water. 13 And you shall put upon Aharon the k'doshim garments; and you shall anoint him, and hallow him, that he may minister unto Me in the Kohen's office. 14 And you shall bring his sons, and put tunics upon them. 15 And you shall anoint them, as you did anoint their father, that they may minister unto Me in the kohen's office; and their anointing shall be to them for an everlasting kehunah throughout their generations."
16 Thus did Moshe; according to all that יהוה commanded him, so did he.
17 And it came to pass in the first Khodesh in the second year, on the first day of the Khodesh, that the Mishkan was reared up. 18 And Moshe reared up the Mishkan, and laid its sockets, and set up the boards thereof, and put in the bars thereof, and reared up its pillars. 19 And he spread the tent over the Mishkan, and put the covering of the tent above upon it; as יהוה commanded Moshe.
20 And he took and put HaEdut into the Aron, and set the staves on the Aron, and put the Kaporet above upon the Aron. 21 And he brought the Aron into the Mishkan, and set up the Parokhet, and screened the Aron HaEdut; as יהוה commanded Moshe. 22 And he put the Shulkhan in the Ohel Mo'ed, upon the side of the Mishkan northward, without the Parokhet. 23 And he set a row of Lekhem in order upon it before יהוה , as יהוה commanded Moshe.
24 And he put the Menorah in the Ohel Mo'ed, over against the Shulkhan, on the side of the Mishkan southward. 25 And he lighted the lamps before יהוה , as יהוה commanded Moshe.
26 And he put the Mizbe'akh HaZahav in the Ohel Mo'ed before the veil; 27 and he burnt thereon incense of sweet spices, as יהוה commanded Moshe. 28 And he put the screen of the door to the Mishkan. 29 And the Mizbe'akh HaOlah he set at the door of the Mishkan of the Ohel Mo'ed, and offered upon it the Olah and the Min'kha, as יהוה commanded Moshe. 30 And he set the Kiyor between the Ohel Mo'ed and the Mizbe'akh, and put water therein, wherewith to wash, 31 that Moshe and Aharon and his sons might wash their hands and their feet thereat; 32 when they went into the Ohel Mo'ed, and when they came near unto the Mizbe'akh, they should wash, as יהוה commanded Moshe. 33 And he reared up the court round about the Mishkan and the Mizbe'akh, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moshe finished the work.
34 Then the cloud covered the Ohel Mo'ed, and the Kavod יהוה filled the Mishkan. 35 And Moshe was not able to enter into the Ohel Mo'ed, because the cloud abode thereon, and the Kavod יהוה filled the Mishkan. 36 And whenever the cloud was taken up from over the Mishkan, B'nei Yisra'el went onward, throughout all their journeys. 37 But if the cloud was not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up. 38 For the cloud of יהוה was upon the Mishkan by day, and there was fire therein by night, in the sight of all Beit Yisra'el, throughout all their journeys.

ו וְנָתַתָּה אֵת מִזְבַּח הָעֹלָה לִפְנֵי פֶּתַח מִשְׁכַּן אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד.
ז וְנָתַתָּ אֶת הַכִּיֹּר בֵּין אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וּבֵין הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וְנָתַתָּ שָׁם מָיִם.

ט וְלָקַחְתָּ אֶת שֶׁמֶן הַמִּשְׁחָה וּמָשַׁחְתָּ אֶת הַמִּשְׁכָּן וְאֶת כָּל אֲשֶׁר בּוֹ וְקִדַּשְׁתָּ אֹתוֹ וְאֶת כָּל כֵּלָיו וְהָיָה קֹדֶשׁ.
י וּמָשַׁחְתָּ אֶת מִזְבַּח הָעֹלָה וְאֶת כָּל כֵּלָיו וְקִדַּשְׁתָּ אֶת הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וְהָיָה הַמִּזְבֵּחַ קֹדֶשׁ קָדָשִׁים.

יג וְהִלְבַּשְׁתָּ אֶת אַהֲרֹן אֵת בִּגְדֵי הַקֹּדֶשׁ וּמָשַׁחְתָּ אֹתוֹ וְקִדַּשְׁתָּ אֹתוֹ וְכִהֵן לִי.
יד וְאֶת בָּנָיו תַּקְרִיב וְהִלְבַּשְׁתָּ אֹתָם כֻּתֳּנֹת.
טו וּמָשַׁחְתָּ אֹתָם כַּאֲשֶׁר מָשַׁחְתָּ אֶת אֲבִיהֶם וְכִהֲנוּ לִי וְהָיְתָה לִהְיֹת לָהֶם מָשְׁחָתָם לִכְהֻנַּת עוֹלָם לְדֹרֹתָם.
טז וַיַּעַשׂ מֹשֶׁה כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה אֹתוֹ כֵּן עָשָׂה.
יז וַיְהִי בַּחֹדֶשׁ הָרִאשׁוֹן בַּשָּׁנָה הַשֵּׁנִית בְּאֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ הוּקַם הַמִּשְׁכָּן.
יח וַיָּקֶם מֹשֶׁה אֶת הַמִּשְׁכָּן וַיִּתֵּן אֶת אֲדָנָיו וַיָּשֶׂם אֶת קְרָשָׁיו וַיִּתֵּן אֶת בְּרִיחָיו וַיָּקֶם אֶת עַמּוּדָיו.

כד וַיָּשֶׂם אֶת הַמְּנֹרָה בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵד נֹכַח הַשֻּׁלְחָן עַל יֶרֶךְ הַמִּשְׁכָּן נֶגְבָּה.
כה וַיַּעַל הַנֵּרֹת לִפְנֵי יהוה כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה אֶת מֹשֶׁה.

לב בְּבֹאָם אֶל אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וּבְקָרְבָתָם אֶל הַמִּזְבֵּחַ יִרְחָצוּ כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה אֶת מֹשֶׁה.

40 And Khiram made the pots, and the shovels, and the basins. So Khiram made an end of doing all the work that he wrought for Melekh Shlomo in Beit יהוה : the 41 two pillars, and the two bowls of the capitals that were on the top of the pillars; and the two networks to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the top of the pillars; 42 and the four hundred pomegranates for the two networks, two rows of pomegranates for each network, to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were upon the top of the pillars; 43 and the ten bases, and the ten lavers on the bases; 44 and the one sea, and the twelve oxen under the sea; 45 and the pots, and the shovels, and the basins; even all these vessels, which Khiram made for Melekh Shlomo, in Beit יהוה , were of burnished brass. 46 In the plain of the Yarden did HaMelekh cast them, in the clay ground between Sukkot and Tzartan. 47 And Shlomo left all the vessels unweighed, because they were exceedingly many; the weight of the brass could not be found out. 48 And Shlomo made all the vessels that were in Beit יהוה : the golden Mizbe'akh, and the table whereupon the showbread was, of gold; 49 and the Menorot, five on the right side, and five on the left, before the D'vir, of pure gold; and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, of gold; 50 and the cups, and the snuffers, and the basins, and the pans, and the fire-pans, of pure gold; and the hinges, both for the doors of the inner house, the Kodesh HaKadashim, and for the doors of HaBa’it, that is, of the Heikhal, of gold. 51 Thus all the work that Melekh Shlomo wrought in Beit יהוה was finished. And Shlomo brought in the things which David his father had dedicated, the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, and put them in the treasuries of Beit יהוה .

Melakhim Alef Chapter 8
1 Then Shlomo assembled the Z'kenim of Yisra'el, and all the heads of the tribes, the princes of the fathers' houses of B'nei Yisra'el, unto Melekh Shlomo in Yerushalayim, to bring up the Aron Brit יהוה out of the city of David, which is Tzion. 2 And all the men of Yisra'el assembled themselves unto Melekh Shlomo at the Khag, in the month Etanim, which is the seventh month. 3 And all the Z'kenim of Yisra'el came, and the kohanim took up the Aron. 4 And they brought up the Aron יהוה , and the Ohel Mo'ed, and all the consecrated vessels that were in the Ohel; even these did the kohanim and the Levi'im bring up. 5 And Melekh Shlomo and all the assembly of Yisra'el, that were assembled unto him, were with him before the Aron, sacrificing sheep and oxen, that could not be told nor numbered for multitude. 6 And the kohanim brought in the Aron Brit יהוה unto its place, into the D'vir HaBa'it, to the Kodesh HaK'dashim, even under the wings of the Keruvim. 7 For the Keruvim spread forth their wings over the place of the Aron, and the Keruvim covered the Aron and the staves thereof above. 8 And the staves were so long that the ends of the staves were seen from HaKodesh, even before the D'vir; but they could not be seen without; and there they are unto this day. 9 There was nothing in the Aron save the two tables of stone which Moshe put there at Khorev, when יהוה made a Brit with B'nei Yisra'el when they came out of the land of Mitzrayim. 10 And it came to pass, when the kohanim were come out of HaKodesh, that the cloud filled Beit יהוה , so 11 that the kohanim could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud; for the Kavod יהוה filled Beit יהוה .
12 Then spoke Shlomo, " יהוה has said that He would dwell in the thick darkness. 13 I have surely built You a house of habitation, a place for You to dwell in forever." 14 And HaMelekh turned his face about, and blessed all the congregation of Yisra'el; and all the congregation of Yisra'el stood. 15 And he said, "Barukh יהוה Elohei Yisra'el, who spoke with His mouth unto David my father, and has with His hand fulfilled it, saying, 16 'Since the day that I brought forth My people Yisra'el out of Mitzrayim, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Yisra'el to build a house, that My Name might be there; but I chose David to be over My people Yisra'el'. 17 Now it was in the heart of David my father to build a house for the Name of יהוה Elohei Yisra'el. 18 But יהוה said unto David my father, 'Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for My Name, you did well that it was in your heart; 19 nevertheless you shall not build the house; but your son that shall come forth out of your loins, he shall build the house for My Name.' 20 And יהוה has established His word that He spoke; for I am risen up in the room of David my father, and I sit on the throne of Yisra'el, as יהוה promised, and I have built HaBa'it for the Name of יהוה Elohei Yisra'el. 21 And there have I set a place for the Aron, wherein is the Brit יהוה , which He made with our fathers, when He brought them out of the land of Mitzrayim."

יא וְלֹא יָכְלוּ הַכֹּהֲנִים לַעֲמֹד לְשָׁרֵת מִפְּנֵי הֶעָנָן: כִּי מָלֵא כְבוֹד יהוה אֶת בֵּית יהוה .

יט רַק אַתָּה לֹא תִבְנֶה הַבָּיִת: כִּי אִם בִּנְךָ הַיֹּצֵא מֵחֲלָצֶיךָ הוּא יִבְנֶה הַבַּיִת לִשְׁמִי.
כ וַיָּקֶם יהוה אֶת דְּבָרוֹ אֲשֶׁר דִּבֵּר; וָאָקֻם תַּחַת דָּוִד אָבִי וָאֵשֵׁב עַל כִּסֵּא יִשְׂרָאֵל כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר יהוה וָאֶבְנֶה הַבַּיִת לְשֵׁם יהוה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל.

Tehillah (Psalm) 61
1 For the Leader; with string-music. By David.
2 Hear my cry, O Elohim; attend unto my prayer.
3 From the end of the earth will I call unto You, when my heart faints; lead me to a Rock that is higher than I.
4 For You have been a refuge for me, a tower of strength in the face of the enemy.
5 I will dwell in Your Ohel forever; I will take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. Selah.
6 For You, O Elohim, have heard my vows; You have granted the heritage of those that fear Your Name.
7 May You add days unto the days of the Melekh! May his years be as many generations!
8 May he be enthroned before Elohim forever! Appoint compassion and truth, that they may preserve him.
9 So will I sing praise unto Your Name forever, that I may daily perform my vows.

א לַמְנַצֵחַ עַל נְגִינַת לְדָוִד.
ב שִמְעָה אֱלֹהִים רִנָתִי; הַקְשִיבָה תְפִלָתִי.
ג מִקְצֵה הָאָרֶץ אֵלֶיךָ אֶקְרָא בַעֲטֹף לִבִי; בְצור יָרום מִמֶנִי תַנְחֵנִי.
ד כִי הָיִיתָ מַחְסֶה לִי; מִגְדַל עֹז מִפְנֵי אויֵב.
ה אָגורָה בְאָהָלְךָ עולָמִים; אֶחֱסֶה בְסֵתֶר כְנָפֶיךָ סֶלָה.
ו כִי אַתָה אֱלֹהִים שָמַעְתָ לִנְדָרָי; נָתַתָ יְרֻשַת יִרְאֵי שְמֶךָ.
ז יָמִים עַל יְמֵי מֶלֶךְ תוסִיף; שְנותָיו כְמו דֹר וָדֹר.
ח יֵשֵב עולָם לִפְנֵי אֱלֹהִים; חֶסֶד וֶאֱמֶת מַן יִנְצְרֻהו.
ט כֵן אֲזַמְרָה שִמְךָ לָעַד לְשַלְמִי נְדָרַי יום יום.

Tehillah (Psalm) 45
1 For the Leader; upon Shoshannim; for the sons of Korakh. A Maskil. A Song of loves.
2 My heart overflows with a goodly matter; I say, "My work is concerning a Melekh"; my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
3 You are fairer than the children of men; grace is poured upon your lips; therefore Elohim has blessed you forever.
4 Gird your sword upon your thigh, O mighty one, your glory and your majesty.
5 And in your majesty prosper, ride on, in behalf of truth and meekness and righteousness; and let your right hand teach you tremendous things.
6 Your arrows are sharp; the peoples fall under you; [they sink] into the heart of the enemies of HaMelekh.
7 Your throne given of Elohim is forever and ever; a scepter of equity is the scepter of
your Malkhut.
8 You have loved righteousness, and hated wickedness; therefore Elohim, your Elohim, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.
9 Myrrh, and aloes, and cassia are all your garments; out of ivory palaces stringed instruments have made you glad.
10 Kings' daughters are among your favorites; at your right hand does stand the queen in gold of Ofir.
11 "Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline your ear; forget also your own people, and your father's house;
12 So shall HaMelekh desire your beauty; for he is your Adonai; and do homage unto him.
13 And, O daughter of Tzor, the richest of the people shall entreat your favor with a gift."
14 All glorious is the daughter of HaMelekh within the palace; her raiment is of chequer work inwrought with gold.
15 She shall be led unto HaMelekh on richly woven stuff; the virgins, her companions in her train, being brought unto you.
16 They shall be led with gladness and rejoicing; they shall enter into the palace of HaMelekh.
17 Instead of your fathers shall be your sons, whom you shall make princes in all the land.
18 I will make your name to be remembered in all generations; therefore shall the peoples praise you forever and ever.

א לַמְנַצֵחַ עַל שֹשַנִים לִבְנֵי קֹרַח; מַשְכִיל שִיר יְדִידֹת.
ב רָחַש לִבִי דָבָר טוב אֹמֵר אָנִי מַעֲשַי לְמֶלֶךְ; לְשונִי עֵט סופֵר מָהִיר.
ג יָפְיָפִיתָ מִבְנֵי אָדָם הוצַק חֵן בְשִפְתותֶיךָ; עַל כֵן בֵרַכְךָ אֱלֹהִים לְעולָם.
ד חֲגור חַרְבְךָ עַל יָרֵךְ גִבור הודְךָ וַהֲדָרֶךָ.
ה וַהֲדָרְךָ צְלַח רְכַב עַל דְבַר אֱמֶת וְעַנְוָה צֶדֶק; וְתורְךָ נורָאות יְמִינֶךָ.
ו חִצֶיךָ שְנונִים: עַמִים תַחְתֶיךָ יִפְלו; בְלֵב אויְבֵי הַמֶלֶךְ.
ז כִסְאֲךָ אֱלֹהִים עולָם וָעֶד; שֵבֶט מִישֹר שֵבֶט מַלְכותֶךָ.
ח אָהַבְתָ צֶדֶק וַתִשְנָא רֶשַע: עַל כֵן מְשָחֲךָ אֱלֹהִים אֱלֹהֶיךָ שֶמֶן שָשון מֵחֲבֵרֶךָ.
ט מֹר וַאֲהָלות קְצִיעות כָל בִגְדֹתֶיךָ; מִן הֵיכְלֵי שֵן מִנִי שִמְחוךָ.
י בְנות מְלָכִים בְיִקְרותֶיךָ; נִצְבָה שֵגַל לִימִינְךָ בְכֶתֶם אופִיר.
יא שִמְעִי בַת ורְאִי וְהַטִי אָזְנֵךְ; וְשִכְחִי עַמֵךְ ובֵית אָבִיךְ.
יב וְיִתְאָו הַמֶלֶךְ יָפְיֵךְ: כִי הוא אֲדֹנַיִךְ וְהִשְתַחֲוִי לו.
יג וּבַת צֹר: בְמִנְחָה פָנַיִךְ יְחַלו עֲשִירֵי עָם.
יד כָל כְבודָה בַת מֶלֶךְ פְנִימָה; מִמִשְבְצות זָהָב לְבושָה.
טו לִרְקָמות תובַל לַמֶלֶךְ: בְתולות אַחֲרֶיהָ רֵעותֶיהָ מובָאות לָךְ.
טז תובַלְנָה בִשְמָחֹת וָגִיל; תְבֹאֶינָה בְהֵיכַל מֶלֶךְ.
יז תַחַת אֲבֹתֶיךָ יִהְיו בָנֶיךָ; תְשִיתֵמו לְשָרִים בְכָל הָאָרֶץ.
יח אַזְכִירָה שִמְךָ בְכָל דֹר וָדֹר; עַל כֵן עַמִים יְהודוךָ לְעֹלָם וָעֶד. |

Yokhanan Markos Chapter 6
14 And Herodus the king heard about Yeshua, for His Name was known to him; and he said, “Yokhanan HaMatbil has risen from the dead; this is why miracles are performed by Him.” 15 Others said, “He is Eli-Yahu.” And yet others, “He is a navi, just like one of the Nevi'im.” 16 But when Herodus heard it, he said, “It is Yokhanan, whom I beheaded; it is he who has risen from the dead.” 17 For this same Herodus had sent out and arrested Yokhanan and cast him into prison, because of Herodias, wife of his brother Filipos, whom he had married. 18 For Yokhanan had said to Herodus, “It is not permitted for you to marry your brother’s wife.” 19 But Herodias was bitter towards him, and wanted to kill him; but she could not. 20 For Herodus was afraid of Yokhanan, because he knew that he was a righteous and consecrated man, and he guarded him; and he heard that he was doing a great many things, and he heard him gladly. 21 Then came a state occasion, when Herodus on his birthday gave a banquet to his officials and captains and the leading men of the Galil. 22 And the daughter of Herodias entered and danced, and she pleased Herodus and the guests who were with him; and the king said to the young woman, “Ask me whatever you wish, and I will give it to you.” 23 And he swore to her, “Whatever you ask me, I will give you, as much as half of my kingdom.” 24 She went out and said to her mother, “What shall I ask of him?” She said to her, “The head of Yokhanan HaMatbil.” 25 And immediately she entered hesitantly to the king, and said to him, “I do wish in this very hour that you might give me on a tray the head of Yokhanan HaMatbil.” 26 And the king was exceedingly sorry; but because of the oaths and because of the guests, he did not wish to refuse her. 27 So the king immediately sent the executioner and commanded to bring the head of Yokhanan. And he went and beheaded Yokhanan in the prison, 28 and brought the head on a tray and gave it to the girl; and the girl gave it to her mother. 29 And when His Talmidim heard of it, they came and took up his body and buried it in a grave. | יוחנן מרקוס פרק ו
יד וְשָׁמַע הוֹרְדוֹס הַמֶּלֶךְ עַל יֵשׁוּע, כִּי נוֹדַע לוֹ שְׁמוֹ, וְאָמַר: יוֹחָנָן הַמַּטְבִּיל קָם מִבֵּין הַמֵּתִים, לָכֵן גְּבוּרוֹת נַעֲשׂוֹת בּוֹ.
טו אֲחֵרִים אָמְרוּ: אֵלִיָּהוּ הוּא; וַאֲחֵרִים, נָבִיא הוּא, כְּאֶחָד מֵהַנְּבִיאִים.
טז אֲבָל כַּאֲשֶׁר שָׁמַע הוֹרְדוֹס, אָמַר: יוֹחָנָן אֲשֶׁר אֲנִי כָּרַתִּי אֶת רֹאשׁוֹ, הוּא קָם מִבֵּין הַמֵּתִים.
יז שֶׁהֲרֵי הוּא הוֹרְדוֹס שָׁלַח וְתָפַס אֶת יוֹחָנָן וְהִשְׁלִיכוֹ לְבֵית הָאֲסוּרִים בִּגְלַל הוֹרוֹדְיָה אֵשֶׁת פִילִיפּוֹס אָחִיו, אֲשֶׁר נָשָׂא אוֹתָהּ;
יח כִּי יוֹחָנָן אָמַר לְהוֹרְדוֹס, לֹא מֻתָּר לְךָ לָשֵׂאת אֵת אֵשֶׁת אָחִיךָ.
יט וְהִיא הוֹרוֹדְיָה שָׂנְאָה אוֹתוֹ וְרָצְתָה לְהָרְגוֹ וְלֹא יָכְלָה,
כ כִּי הוֹרְדוֹס פָּחַד מִיּוֹחָנָן, בַּאֲשֶׁר יָדַע שֶׁהוּא אִישׁ צַדִּיק וְקָדוֹשׁ, וְשָׁמַר עָלָיו. וְרַבּוֹת שָׁמַע אוֹתוֹ וְעָשָׂה, וּבַהֲנָאָה הָיָה שׁוֹמֵעַ אוֹתוֹ.
כא וּבָא יוֹם מְסֻיָּם, כַּאֲשֶׁר הוֹרְדוֹס עָשָׂה בְּיוֹם הֻלַּדְתּוֹ מִשְׁתֶּה לִגְדוֹלָיו וּלְשָׂרֵי הָאֲלָפִים וּלְרָאשֵׁי הַגָּלִיל.
כב וְנִכְנְסָה בִּתָּהּ שֶׁל הוֹרוֹדְיָה וְרָקְדָה, וּמָצְאָה חֵן בְּעֵינֵי הוֹרְדוֹס וְהַמְסֻבִּים אִתּוֹ וְאָמַר הַמֶּלֶךְ לַּנַּעֲרָה: בַּקְּשִׁי מִמֶּנִּי מַה שֶּׁתִּרְצִי, וְאֶתֵּן לָךְ.
כג וְנִשְׁבַּע לָהּ: מַה שֶּׁתְּבַקְּשִׁי מִמֶּנִּי אֶתֵּן לָךְ, עַד חֲצִי מַלְכוּתִי.
כד וְהִיא יָצְאָה וְאָמְרָה לְאִמָּהּ:
מָה אֲבַקֵּשׁ מִמֶּנּוּ? אָמְרָה לָהּ: אֶת רֹאשׁ יוֹחָנָן הַמַּטְבִּיל.
כה וּמִיָּד נִכְנְסָה בְּנֶחְרָצוּת אֶל הַמֶּלֶךְ וְאָמְרָה לוֹ: אֲנִי רוֹצָה בָּזֶה הָרֶגַע שֶׁתִּתֵּן לִי עַל צַלַּחַת אֶת רֹאשׁ יוֹחָנָן הַמַּטְבִּיל.
כו וְהִתְעַצֵּב הַמֶּלֶךְ מְאֹד, אֲבָל בִּגְלַל הַשְּׁבוּעָה וּבִגְלַל הַמְסֻבִּים, לֹא רָצָה לִמְנֹעַ מִמֶּנָּה,
כז אֶלָּא מִיָּד שָׁלַח הַמֶּלֶךְ זָקִיף וְצִוָּה שֶׁיָּבִיא אֶת רֹאשׁוֹ שֶׁל יוֹחָנָן וְהוּא הָלַךְ וְכָרַת אֶת רֹאשׁוֹ שֶׁל יוֹחָנָן בְּבֵית הָאֲסוּרִים, כח וְהֵבִיא וְנָתַן לַנַּעֲרָה; וְהַנַּעֲרָה נָתְנָה לְאִמָּהּ.
כט וְשָׁמְעוּ תַּלְמִידָיו, וּבָאוּ וְלָקְחוּ אֶת גּוּפָתוֹ, וְשָׂמוּהָ בְּבֵית קֶבֶר.

Ivrim Chapter 9
1 Then truly the first [ministry] had also ordinances of divine service and an earthly Beit HaKodesh. 2 For the first Mishkan which was made had in it the Menorah, and the Shulkhan and the Lekhem HaPenim; and it was called 'Beit Kodesh'. 3 But the inner Mishkan, which is within the veil of the second door, was called 'Kodesh HaKadashim'. 4 And there was in it the golden censer and the Aron HaBrit all overlaid with gold, and in it was the golden pot containing haMan, and Aharon’s rod which budded, and HaLukhot HaBrit; 5 and over it the Keruvim of glory, overshadowing the Kaporet; now is not the time to describe how these things were made. 6 The Kohanim always entered into the outer Mishkan and performed their service of worship; 7 but into the inner Miskhan, The Kohen HaGadol entered alone, once every year, with the blood which he offered for himself and for the faults of the people.
8 By this The Ru'akh HaKodesh revealed that the way of the K'doshim would not yet be made known so long as the old Mishkan remained, 9 which was the symbol for that time, during which were offered both gifts and sacrifices which could not make perfect the conscience of him who offered them, 10 but which served only for food and drink, and in various ablutions which are ordinances of the flesh, and were imposed until the time of renewal. 11 But Mashi'akh, who had come, became The Kohen HaGadol of the good things which He wrought; and He entered into a greater and more perfect Mishkan which was not made by hands and was not of this world; 12 and He did not enter with the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood He entered in once into the Beit HaMikdash, and obtained for us everlasting redemption. 13 For if the blood of goats and calves and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who were defiled consecrated them even to the cleansing of their flesh, 14 how much more will the blood of Mashi'akh, who through the eternal Ru'akh offered Himself without blemish to Elohim, purify our conscience from dead works so that we may serve the living Elohim? | אגרת שאול אל העברים פרק ט
א בָּרִאשׁוֹנָה הָיוּ בָּהּ פִּקּוּדֵי שֵׁרוּת וּבֵית קֹדֶשׁ אַרְצִי;
ב שֶׁכֵּן הַמִּשְׁכָּן הָרִאשׁוֹן שֶׁנַּעֲשָׂה הָיוּ בּוֹ הַמְּנוֹרָה וְהַשֻּׁלְחָן וְלֶחֶם הַפָּנִים, וְהוּא נִקְרָא בֵּית קֹדֶשׁ.
ג אֲבָל הַמִּשְׁכָּן הַפְּנִימִי אֲשֶׁר מִבֵּית לַפָּרֹכֶת הַשְּׁנִיָּה נִקְרָא קֹדֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁים.
ד וְהָיוּ בּוֹ מִקְטֶרֶת הַזָּהָב וַאֲרוֹן הַבְּרִית הַמְצֻפֶּה כֻּלּוֹ זָהָב; וְהָיוּ בּוֹ בָּאָרוֹן צִנְצֶנֶת הַזָּהָב אֲשֶׁר הַמָּן בְּתוֹכָהּ, וּמַטֵּה אַהֲרֹן אֲשֶׁר פָּרַח, וְלוּחוֹת הַבְּרִית;
ה וּמִמַּעַל לוֹ כְּרוּבֵי הַכָּבוֹד הַסּוֹכְכִים עַל הַכַּפֹּרֶת. בְּרַם לֹא זֹאת הַשָּׁעָה שֶׁנְּדַבֵּר עַל כָּל אֶחָד מֵאֵלֶּה אֲשֶׁר כָּךְ נֶעֶרְכוּ.
ו וְלַמִּשְׁכָּן הַחִיצוֹן נִכְנְסוּ הַכֹּהֲנִים בְּכָל עֵת וּמִלְּאוּ אֶת שֵׁרוּתָם.
ז אֲבָל לַמִּשְׁכָּן אֲשֶׁר מִבַּיִת לוֹ, אַחַת לְשָׁנָה נִכְנַס הַכֹּהֵן הַגָּדוֹל לְבַדּוֹ, בְּדָם אֲשֶׁר הִקְרִיב בְּעַד עַצְמוֹ וּבְעַד עֲווֹן הָעָם.
ח וּבָזֹאת הָיְתָה רוּחַ הַקֹּדֶשׁ מוֹדִיעָה שֶׁעֲדַיִן לֹא נִגְלְתָה דֶּרֶךְ הַקְּדוֹשִׁים, כָּל עוֹד הָיָה קִיּוּם לַמִּשְׁכָּן הַרִאשׁוֹן.
ט וְזֶה הָיָה מָשָׁל לַזְּמַן שֶׁבּוֹ הֻקְרְבוּ קָרְבָּנוֹת וּזְבָחִים אֲשֶׁר לֹא יָכְלוּ לְהַשְׁלִים אֶת מַצְפּוּנוֹ שֶׁל הַמַּקְרִיב אוֹתָם, אֶלָּא בְּמַאֲכָל וּבְמַשְׁקֶה בִּלְבַד,
י וּבִטְבִילוֹת לְמִינֵיהֶן, אֲשֶׁר הֵם פִּקּוּדֵי הַבָּשָׂר הַמֻּטָּלִים עַד לְעֵת הַתִּקּוּן.
יא אֲבָל הַמָּשִׁיחַ אֲשֶׁר בָּא הָיָה גָּדוֹל לַטּוֹבוֹת שֶׁפָּעַל, וְהוּא נִכְנַס לַמִּשְׁכָּן הַגָּדוֹל וְהַמֻּשְׁלָם שֶׁאֵינוֹ מַעֲשֶׂה יָדַיִם וְאֵינוֹ מִן הַבְּרוּאִים הָאֵלֶּה.
יב וְלֹא נִכְנַס בְּדַם שְׂעִירִים וַעֲגָלִים, אֶלָּא בְּדַם נַפְשׁוֹ נִכְנַס פַּעַם אַחַת לְבֵית הַמִּקְדָּשׁ וּמָצָא פְּדוּת עוֹלָם;
יג שֶׁכֵּן אִם דַּם שְׂעִירִים וַעֲגָלִים וְאֵפֶר הָעֶגְלָה הֻזָּה עַל אֵלֶּה שֶׁנִּטְמְאוּ וְקִדֵּשׁ אוֹתָם לְטָהֳרַת בְּשָׂרָם,
יד עַל אַחַת כַּמָּה וְכַמָּה דָּמוֹ שֶׁל הַמָּשִׁיחַ אֲשֶׁר בְּרוּחַ עוֹלָם הִקְרִיב אֶת נפְשׁוֹ לֵאלֹהִים בְּלִי מוּם, יְטַהֵר אֶת מַצְפּוּנֵנוּ מִמַּעֲשִׂים מֵתִים כְּדֵי שֶׁנְּשָׁרֵת אֶת אֱלֹהִים חַיִּים.

Yokhanan Chapter 6
1 After these things, Yeshua went to the port of the sea of the Galil, at Teveryah. 2 And a great many people followed Him, because they saw the miracles which He performed on sick people. 3 So Yeshua went up to the mountain, and He sat there with His Talmidim. 4 And Khag HaPesakh of the Yehudim was at hand. 5 And Yeshua lifted up His eyes and saw a large crowd coming to Him, and He said to Filipos, “Where can we buy bread that all these may eat?” 6 He said this merely to test him; for He knew what He would do. 7 Filipos said to Him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread would not be sufficient for them, even if each one should take a little.” 8 One of His Talmidim, Andra'us the brother of Shimon Kefa, said to him, 9 “There is a boy here who has with him five barley loaves and two fish; but what are these for all of them?” 10 Yeshua said to them, “Make all the men sit down.” There was much grass in that place. So the men sat down, five thousand in number. 11 And Yeshua took the bread and blessed it, and distributed it to those who were sitting down; likewise the fish also, as much as they wanted. 12 When they were filled, He said to His Talmidim, “Gather up the broken pieces which are left over, so that nothing is lost.” 13 And they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with broken pieces which were left over by those who ate from five barley loaves. 14 Then the men who saw the miracle which Yeshua performed said, “Truly this is HaNavi who is to come into the world.”
15 But Yeshua knew that they were ready to come and seize Him to make Him a king, so He departed to the mountain alone. 16 And when evening came, His Talmidim went down to the sea 17 and entered into a boat, and were going to the port of K’far Nakhum. And now it was dark, and Yeshua had not yet come to them. 18 And the sea became rough, because a strong wind was blowing. 19 And they rowed about twenty-five or thirty furlongs, and they saw Yeshua walking on the sea; and as He drew towards their boat, they became afraid. 20 But Yeshua said to them, “It is I, do not be afraid.” 21 So they wanted to receive Him into the boat; but soon the boat reached the land to which they were going.
22 The next day, the multitude which stood waiting at the seaport saw no other boat there, except the boat in which the Talmidim had entered, and that Yeshua had not entered the boat with His Talmidim. 23 But other boats had come from Teveryah, near the place where they had eaten bread when Yeshua blessed it. 24 And when the people saw that Yeshua was not there, nor His Talmidim, they entered the boats and came to K’far Nakhum, looking for Yeshua. 25 And when they found Him at the seaport, they said to Him, “Teacher, when did you come here?” 26 Yeshua answered, saying to them, “Amein, Amein, I say to you, you seek me, not because you saw the miracles, but just because you ate bread and were filled. 27 Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to Khayei Olam, which Ben HaAdam will give you; for this one Elohim HaAv has sealed.”
28 They said to Him, “What shall we do to work the works of Elohim?” 29 Yeshua answered, saying to them, “This is the work of Elohim, that you should trust in Him whom He has sent.” 30 They said to Him, “What miracle do you perform that we may see and trust in you? What have you performed? 31 Our forefathers ate manna in the wilderness; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from Heaven to eat'.” 32 Yeshua said to them, “Amein, Amein, I say to you, it was not Moshe who gave you bread from Heaven; but Avi gives you the true bread from Heaven. 33 For the bread of Elohim is He who has come down from Heaven, who gives life to the world.” 34 They said to Him, “Adoneinu, give us this bread always.” 35 Yeshua said to them, “I am the bread of life; he who comes to me shall never hunger; and he who believes in me shall never thirst. 36 But I have said to you that you have seen me and yet you do not believe. 37 Everyone whom Avi has given me shall come to me; and he who comes to me I will not cast out. 38 For I came down from Heaven, not merely to do my own will, but to do the will of Him who sent me. 39 This is the will of Him who sent me, that I should lose none of all that He has given me, but should raise him up at the last day. 40 For this is the will of Avi, that whoever sees HaBen and trusts in Him shall have Khayei Olam; and I will raise him up at the last day.” 41 Now the Y’hudim murmured against Him, for He said, “I am the bread which came down from Heaven.” 42 And they said, “Is this not Yeshua Ben Yosef, whose father and mother we know? How can He say, ‘I have come down from Heaven'?” 43 Yeshua answered, saying to them, “Do not murmur one with another. 44 No man can come to me unless HaAv who sent me draws Him; and I will raise him up at the last day. 45 For it is written in HaNavi, 'They shall all be taught by Elohim.' Everyone therefore who hears from HaAv and learns from Him will come to me. 46 No man can see HaAv except He who is from Elohim; He can see HaAv. 47 Amein, Amein, I say to you, he who trusts in me has eternal life. 48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your forefathers ate manna in the wilderness, and yet they died. 50 This is the bread which came down from Heaven, that a man may eat of it and not die. 51 I am the living bread because I came down from Heaven; 52 if any man eats of this bread, he shall live forever; and the bread which I will give is my body, which I am giving for the sake of the life of the world.” 53 The Y’hudim argued one with another, saying, “How can this man give us his body to eat?” 54 Yeshua said to them. “Amein, Amein, I say to you, unless you eat the body of Ben HaAdam and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves; 55 he who eats of my body and drinks of my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him at the last day. 56 For my body truly is the food, and my blood truly is the drink. 57 He who eats my body and drinks my blood will abide with me, and I with him. 58 Just as HaAv HaKhai sent me, and I am living because of HaAv, so whoever eats of me will also live because of me. 59 This is the bread which came down from Heaven; it is not like that manna which your forefathers ate and died; he who eats of this bread shall live forever.” 60 These things He said in the Beit K’nesset while He was teaching at K’far Nakhum.
61 Many of His Talmidim who heard it said, “This is a hard saying; who can do it?” 62 Yeshua knew in Himself that His Talmidim were murmuring about this; so He said to them, “Does this cause you to stumble? 63 What then if you should see Ben HaAdam ascending to the place where He was before? 64 It is HaRu'akh that gives life; the body is of no account; the words which I have spoken to you are Ru'akh and Khayim. 65 But there are some of you who do not trust.” For Yeshua knew for a long while who were those who did not trust, and who was to betray Him. 66 And He said to them, “For this reason I have told you that no man can come to me unless it is given to him by Avi.” 67 Just because of this saying a great many of His talmidim turned away and did not walk with Him.
68 So Yeshua said to His twelve, “What, do you also want to go away?” 69 Shimon Kefa answered, saying, “My Adon, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. 70 And we have believed and known that you are the Mashi'akh, Ben HaElohim HaKhayim.” 71 Yeshua said to them, “Did not I choose you, the twelve, and yet one of you is an adversary?” 72 He said it concerning Yehudah Ben Shimon Sekharyotah; for he was the one of the twelve who was going to betray Him. | יוחנן פרק ו
א אַחֲרֵי הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה הָלַךְ יֵשׁוּעַ אֶל מֵעֵבֶר לְיָם הַגָּלִיל שֶׁל טְבֶרְיָה.
ב וְהָלְכוּ אַחֲרָיו הֲמוֹנִים רַבִּים, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁרָאוּ אֶת הָאוֹתוֹת שֶׁעָשָׂה בַּחוֹלִים.
ג וְעָלָה יֵשׁוּעַ לָהָר וְשָׁם יָשַׁב עִם תַּלְמִידָיו.
ד וְחַג הַפֶּסַח שֶׁל הַיְּהוּדִים הָיָה קָרוֹב.
ה וְנָשָׂא יֵשׁוּעַ אֶת עֵינָיו וְרָאָה הָמוֹן רַב בָּא אֵלָיו, וְאָמַר לְפִילִיפּוֹס אֵיפֹה נִקְנֶה לֶחֶם שֶׁיֹּאכְלוּ אֵלֶּה?
ו וְזֹאת אָמַר בְּנַסּוֹתוֹ אוֹתוֹ, כִּי הוּא יָדַע מֶה עָתִיד הוּא לַעֲשׂוֹת.
ז אָמַר לוֹ פִילִיפּוֹס: לֶחֶם בְּמָאתַיִם דִּינָר לֹא יַסְפִּיק לָהֶם, גַּם אִם כָּל אֶחָד מֵהֶם יִקַּח מְעַט מְאֹד.
ח אָמַר לוֹ אֶחָד מִתַּלְמִידָיו, אַנְדְּרֵאוֹס אָחִיו שֶׁל שִׁמְעוֹן כֵּיפָא:
ט יֵשׁ פֹּה נַעַר אֶחָד שֶׁיֵּשׁ אֶצְלוֹ חָמֵשׁ כִּכְּרוֹת לֶחֶם שְׂעוֹרִים וּשְׁנֵי דָּגִּים, אַךְ הַלָּלוּ מַה הֵם לְכָל אֵלֶּה?
י אָמַר לָהֶם יֵשׁוּעַ: הוֹשִׁיבוּ אֶת כָּל הָאֲנָשִׁים. עֵשֶׂב רַב הָיָה בַּמָּקוֹם הַהוּא; וְהִתְיַשְּׁבוּ הָאֲנָשִׁים, חֲמֵשֶׁת אֲלָפִים בְּמִסְפָּר.
יא וְלָקַח יֵשׁוּעַ אֶת הַלֶּחֶם, וּבֵרֵךְ וְחִלֵּק לַיּוֹשְׁבִים; וְכֵן גַּם מִן הַדָּגִים, כַּמָּה שֶׁרָצוּ.
יב וְכַאֲשֶׁר שָׂבְעוּ, אָמַר לְתַלְמִידָיו: אִסְפוּ אֶת הַפְּתוֹתִים שֶׁנּוֹתְרוּ כְּדֵי שֶׁלֹּא יֹאבַד מְאוּמָה.
יג וְאָסְפוּ וּמִלְּאוּ שְׁנֵיִם עָשָׂר סַלִּים בַּפְּתוֹתִים אֲשֶׁר נוֹתְרוּ לְאֵלֶּה שֶׁאָכְלוּ מֵחֲמֵשׁ כִּכְּרוֹת לֶחֶם הַשְּׂעוֹרִים.
יד וְהָאֲנָשִׁים שֶׁרָאוּ אֶת הָאוֹת שֶׁעָשָׂה יֵשׁוּעַ, אָמְרוּ: בֶּאֱמֶת זֶה הוּא הַנָּבִיא הַבָּא לָעוֹלָם.
טו אֲבָל יֵשׁוּעַ יָדַע שֶׁעוֹמְדִים הֵם לָבוֹא לְחָתְפוֹ וְלַעֲשׂוֹתוֹ מֶלֶךְ, וְעָבַר אֶל הָהָר הוּא לְבַדּוֹ.
טז וְכִהְיוֹת עֶרֶב, יָרְדוּ אֶל הַיָּם,
יז וְיָשְׁבוּ בִּסְפִינָה וְהִתְקַדְּמוּ לְעֵבֶר כְּפַר נַחוּם. וְהַחֲשֵׁכָה יָרְדָה, וְיֵשׁוּעַ לֹא בָּא אֲלֵיהֶם.
יח וְהַיָּם נֵעוֹר עֲלֵיהֶם, כִּי רוּחַ גְּדוֹלָה נָשְׁבָה.
יט וְשָׁטוּ כְּעֶשְׂרִים וַחֲמִשָּׁה אוֹ שְׁלוֹשִׁים רִיס, וְרָאוּ אֶת יֵשׁוּעַ מְהַלֵּךְ עַל הָאֲגַם. וְכַאֲשֶׁר הִתְקָרֵב לִסְפִינָתָם, פָּחֲדוּ.
כ אֲבָל הוּא יֵשׁוּעַ אָמַר לָהֶם: אֲנִי הוּא, אַל תִּירָאוּ.
כא וְחָפְצוּ לְקַבְּלוֹ לַסְּפִינָה, וּבוֹ בָּרֶגַע הָיְתָה הַסְּפִינָה בַּחוֹף אֲשֶׁר נָסְעוּ אֵלָיו.
כב וּבְיוֹם הַמָּחֳרָת רָאָה הֶהָמוֹן שֶׁהָיָה עוֹמֵד מֵעֵבֶר לַיָּם, כִּי סְפִינָה אַחֶרֶת לֹא הָיְתָה שָׁם מִלְּבַד הַהִיא שֶׁעָלוּ בָּהּ הַתַּלְמִידִים, וְכִי יֵשׁוּעַ לֹא נִכְנַס עִם תַּלְמִידָיו לַסְּפִינָה.
כג וְאוּלָם בָּאוּ אֳנִיּוֹת אֲחֵרוֹת מִטְּבֶרְיָה סָמוּךְ אֶל הַמָּקוֹם שֶׁאָכְלוּ בּוֹ אֶת הַלֶּחֶם לְאַחַר שֶׁבֵּרֵךְ יֵשׁוּעַ.
כד וְכַאֲשֶׁר רָאָה הֶהָמוֹן כִּי יֵשׁוּעַ אֵינֶנּוּ שָׁם, אַף לֹא תַּלְמִידָיו, עָלוּ לָאֳנִיּוֹת הַלָּלוּ וּבָאוּ לִכְפַר נַחוּם וְחִפְּשׂוּ אֶת יֵשׁוּעַ.
כה וְכַאֲשֶׁר מְצָאוּהוּ מֵעֵבֶר לַיָּם, אָמְרוּ לוֹ: רַבֵּנוּ, מָתַי בָּאתָ לְכָאן?
כו עָנָה יֵשׁוּעַ וְאָמַר לָהֶם: אָמֵן אָמֵן אוֹמֵר אֲנִי לָכֶם, שֶׁאַתֶּם מְחַפְּשִׂים אוֹתִי לֹא מִשּׁוּם שֶׁרְאִיתֶם אוֹתוֹת, אֶלָּא מִשּׁוּם שֶׁאֲכַלְתֶּם אֶת הַלֶּחֶם וּשְׂבַעְתֶּם.
כז אַל תַּעַבְדוּ בְּעַד הָאֹכֶל הָאוֹבֵד, אֶלָּא בְּעַד הָאֹכֶל הַקַּיָּם לְחַיֵּי עוֹלָם, אֲשֶׁר בֶּן הָאָדָם יִתֵּן לָכֶם, כִּי אֶת זֶה חָתַם אֱלֹהִים הָאָב.
כח אָמְרוּ לוֹ: מַה נַּעֲשֶׂה לְמַעַן נִפְעַל אֶת פָּעֳלֵי הָאֱלֹהִים?
כט עָנָה יֵשׁוּעַ וְאָמַר לָהֶם: זֶהוּ פֹּעַל הָאֱלֹהִים, שֶׁתַּאֲמִינוּ בְּמִי שֶׁהוּא שָׁלַח.
ל אָמְרוּ לוֹ: מָה אוֹת אַתָּה עוֹשֶׂה שֶׁנִּרְאֶה וְנַאֲמִין בְּךָ? מָה אַתָּה פּוֹעֵל?
לא אֲבוֹתֵינוּ מָן אָכְלוּ בַּמִּדְבָּר, כְּמוֹ שֶׁכָּתוּב: לֶחֶם מִן הַשָּׁמַיִם נָתַן לָמוֹ לֶאֱכֹל.
לב אָמַר לָהֶם יֵשׁוּעַ: אָמֵן אָמֵן אוֹמֵר אֲנִי לָכֶם, שֶׁלֹּא מֹשֶׁה נָתַן לָכֶם לֶחֶם מִן הַשָּׁמַיִם, אֶלָּא אָבִי נוֹתֵן לָכֶם אֶת הַלֶּחֶם הָאֲמִתִּי מִן הַשָּׁמַיִם;
לג כִּי לֶחֶם הָאֱלֹהִים הוּא שֶׁיָּרַד מִן הַשָּׁמַיִם וְנוֹתֵן חַיִּים לָעוֹלָם.
לד אָמְרוּ לוֹ: אֲדוֹנֵינוּ, תֵּן לָנוּ תָּמִיד אֶת הַלֶּחֶם הַזֶּה.
לה אָמַר לָהֶם יֵשׁוּעַ: אֲנִי הוּא לֶחֶם הַחַיִּים. מִי שֶׁבָּא אֵלַי לֹא יִרְעַב, וּמִי שֶׁמַּאֲמִין בִּי לֹא יִצְמָא לְעוֹלָם.
לו אֲבָל אָמַרְתִּי לָכֶם שֶׁרְאִיתֶם אוֹתִי, וְאֵינְכֶם מַאֲמִינִים.
לז כָּל אֲשֶׁר נָתַן לִי אָבִי יָבוֹא אֵלַי; וּמִי שֶׁיָּבוֹא אֵלַי, לֹא אֲגָרְשֵׁהוּ הַחוּצָה;
לח כִּי יָרַדְתִּי מִן הַשָּׁמַיִם לֹא לַעֲשׂוֹת אֶת רְצוֹנִי, אֶלָּא לַעֲשׂוֹת אֶת רְצוֹנוֹ שֶׁל מִי שֶׁשְּׁלָחַנִי.
לט וְזֶהוּ רְצוֹנוֹ שֶׁל מִי שֶׁשְּׁלָחַנִי, שֶׁכָּל אֲשֶׁר נָתַן לִי לֹא אֲאַבֵּד מִמֶּנּוּ, אֶלָּא שֶׁאֲקִימֶנּוּ בַּיּוֹם הָאַחֲרוֹן;
מ כִּי זֶהוּ רְצוֹן אָבִי, שֶׁכָּל הָרוֹאֶה אֶת הַבֵּן וּמַאֲמִין בּוֹ יִהְיוּ לוֹ חַיֵּי עוֹלָם, וַאֲנִי אֲקִימֶנּוּ בַּיּוֹם הָאַחֲרוֹן.
מא אֲבָל הַיְּהוּדִים רָטְנוּ עָלָיו, כִּי אָמַר, אֲנִי הוּא הַלֶּחֶם שֶׁיָּרַדְתִּי מִן הַשָּׁמַיִם,
מב וְאָמְרוּ: הַאֵין זֶה יֵשׁוּעַ בֶּן יוֹסֵף, אֲשֶׁר אָנוּ מַכִּירִים אֶת אָבִיו וְאֶת אִמּוֹ! וְאֵיךְ אוֹמֵר זֶה, מִן הַשָּׁמַיִם יָרַדְתִּי?
מג עָנָה יֵשׁוּעַ וְאָמַר לָהֶם: אַל תְּרַטְּנוּ זֶה עִם זֶה.
מד אֵין אִישׁ יָכוֹל לָבוֹא אֵלַי אֶלָּא אִם יִמְשְׁכֵהוּ הָאָב אֲשֶׁר שְׁלָחַנִי; וַאֲנִי אֲקִימֶנּוּ בַּיּוֹם הָאַחֲרוֹן.
מה הֲרֵי כָּתוּב בַּנָּבִיא שֶׁיִּהְיוּ כֻּלָּם לִמּוּדֵי אֱלֹהִים. לָכֵן כָּל מִי שֶׁשּׁוֹמֵעַ מִן הָאָב וְלוֹמֵד מִמֶּנּוּ בָּא אֵלַי.
מו אֵין אִישׁ הָרוֹאֶה אֶת הָאָב, אֶלָּא מִי שֶׁמֵּאֵת הָאֱלֹהִים הוּא הָרוֹאֶה אֶת הָאָב.
מז אָמֵן אָמֵן אוֹמֵר אֲנִי לָכֶם, מִי שֶׁמַּאֲמִין בִּי יֵשׁ לוֹ חַיֵּי עוֹלָם.
מח אֲנִי הוּא לֶחֶם הַחַיִּים.
מט אֲבוֹתֵיכֶם אָכְלוּ אֶת הַמָּן בַּמִּדְבָּר וּמֵתוּ.
נ אֲבָל זֶהוּ הַלֶּחֶם שֶׁיָּרַד מִן הַשָּׁמַיִם, שֶׁיֹּאכַל אִישׁ מִמֶּנּוּ וְלֹא יָמוּת.
נא אֲנִי הוּא הַלֶּחֶם הַחַי שֶׁיָּרַדְתִּי מִן הַשָּׁמַיִם.
נב וְאִם יֹאכַל אִישׁ מִן הַלֶּחֶם הַזֶּה, יִחְיֶה לְעוֹלָם. וְהַלֶּחֶם אֲשֶׁר אֲנִי אֶתֵּן, גּוּפִי הוּא אֲשֶׁר נוֹתֵן אֲנִי בְּעַד חַיָּיו שֶׁל הָעוֹלָם.
נג וְהִתְנַצְּחוּ הַיְּהוּדִים זֶה עִם זֶה וְאָמְרוּ: אֵיךְ יָכוֹל זֶה לָתֵת לָנוּ אֶת גּוּפוֹ לֶאֱכֹל?
נד וְאָמַר לָהֶם יֵשׁוּעַ: אָמֵן אָמֵן אוֹמֵר אֲנִי לָכֶם, שֶׁאִם לֹא תֹּאכְלוּ אֶת גּוּפוֹ שֶׁל בֶּן הָאָדָם וְתִשְׁתּוּ אֶת דָּמוֹ, אֵין לָכֶם חַיִּים בְּעַצְמְכֶם.
נה אֲבָל מִי שֶׁאוֹכֵל מִגּוּפִי וְשׁוֹתֶה מִדָּמִי יֵשׁ לוֹ חַיֵּי עוֹלָם, וַאֲנִי אֲקִימֶנּוּ בַּיּוֹם הָאַחֲרוֹן;
נו כִּי גּוּפִי בֶּאֱמֶת מַאֲכָל הוּא, וְדָמִי בֶּאֱמֶת מַשְׁקֶה הוּא.
נז מִי שֶׁאוֹכֵל אֶת גּוּפִי וְשׁוֹתֶה אֶת דָּמִי, בִּי הוּא שׁוֹכֵן, וַאֲנִי בּוֹ.
נח כְּשֵׁם שֶׁשְּׁלָחַנִי הָאָב הַחַי, וַאֲנִי חַי אֲנִי בִּגְלַל הָאָב, גַּם מִי שֶׁיֹּאכְלֵנִי אַף הוּא יִחְיֶה בִּגְלָלִי.
נט זֶהוּ הַלֶּחֶם שֶׁיָּרַד מִן הַשָּׁמַיִם, לֹא כְּמוֹ שֶׁאָכְלוּ אֲבוֹתֵיכֶם אֶת הַמָּן וּמֵתוּ. מִי שֶׁאוֹכֵל אֶת הַלֶּחֶם הַזֶּה יִחְיֶה לְעוֹלָם.
ס אֶת אֵלֶּה אָמַר בְּבֵית הַכְּנֶסֶת כַּאֲשֶׁר לִמֵּד בִּכְפַר נַחוּם.
סא וְרַבִּים מִתַּלְמִידָיו שֶׁשָּׁמְעוּ, אָמְרוּ: קָשֶׁה הַדָּבָר הַזֶּה, מִי יָכוֹל לְשָׁמְעוֹ?
סב אוּלָם יֵשׁוּעַ יָדַע בְּקִרְבּוֹ שֶׁתַּלְמִידָיו מְרַטְּנִים עַל זֹאת, וְאָמַר לָהֶם: הַאִם זֶה מַכְשִׁיל אֶתְכֶם?
סג אִם אֵפוֹא תִּרְאוּ אֶת בֶּן הָאָדָם עוֹלֶה לַמָּקוֹם שֶׁהָיָה בּוֹ קֹדֶם?
סד הָרוּחַ הִיא הַמְחַיָּה; הַגּוּף אֵינוֹ מוֹעִיל מְאוּמָה. הַדְּבָרִים שֶׁאֲנִי דִּבַּרְתִּי אִתְּכֶם רוּחַ הֵם וְחַיִּים הֵם.
סה אֲבָל יֵשׁ אֲנָשִׁים מִכֶּם שֶׁאֵינָם מַאֲמִינִים; כִּי יֵשׁוּעַ יָדַע מֵרֹאשׁ מִי הֵם אֲשֶׁר אֵינָם מַאֲמִינִים, וּמִי הוּא הַמּוֹסֵר אוֹתוֹ.
סו וְאָמַר לָהֶם: מִשּׁוּם כָּךְ אָמַרְתִּי לָכֶם שֶׁאֵין אִישׁ יָכוֹל לָבוֹא אֵלַי אִם לֹא נִתָּן לוֹ מֵאֵת אָבִי.
סז בִּגְלַל הַדָּבָר הַזֶּה רַבִּים מִתַּלְמִידָיו נָסוֹגוּ וְלֹא הִתְהַלְּכוּ אִתּוֹ.
סח וְאָמַר יֵשׁוּעַ לַשְּׁנֵים עָשָׂר שֶׁלּוֹ: הַאִם גַּם אַתֶּם רוֹצִים לָלֶכֶת?
סט עָנָה שִׁמְעוֹן כֵּיפָא וְאָמַר: אֲדוֹנִי, אֶל מִי נֵלֵךְ? דִּבְרֵי חַיֵּי עוֹלָם עִמְּךָ.
ע וַאֲנַחְנוּ הֶאֱמַנּוּ וְיָדַעְנוּ שֶׁאַתָּה הוּא הַמָּשִׁיחַ בֶּן אֱלֹהִים חַיִּים.
עא אָמַר לָהֶם יֵשׁוּעַ: הַאִם לֹא אֲנִי בְּחַרְתִּיכֶם שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר, וּמִכֶּם אֶחָד הוּא שָׂטָן?
עב וְאָמַר זֹאת עַל יְהוּדָה בֶּן שִׁמְעוֹן סְכַרְיוֹטָה, כִּי הוּא הָיָה עָתִיד לְמָסְרוֹ, אֶחָד מִן הַשְּׁנֵים עָשָׂר.

Ma’asei HaShlikhim Chapter 1
1 The first book have I written, O Theophilus, concerning all the things which Adoneinu Yeshua HaMashi'akh began to do and teach 2 until the day when He ascended, after He, through The Ru'akh HaKodesh, had given mitzvot to the Shlikhim whom He had chosen, 3 the very ones to whom He had also shown Himself alive after He had suffered, with many wonders, during the forty days while appearing to them and talking with them concerning Malkhut HaElohim. 4 And as He ate bread with them, He commanded them not to depart from Yerushalayim, but to wait for the promise of HaAv, the one of which you have heard from me. 5 For, He said, “Yokhanan immersed with water; but you shall be immersed with The Ru'akh HaKodesh not many days hence.”
6 While they were assembled, they asked Him, saying, “Adoneinu, will you at this time restore HaMalkhut to Yisra’el?” 7 He said to them, “It is not for you to know the time or times which HaAv has put under His own authority; 8 but when The Ru'akh HaKodesh comes upon you, you shall receive power, and you shall be witnesses to me both in Yerushalayim and in all Y’hudah, also in the province of Shomron, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.” 9 And when He had spoken these things, He ascended while they were looking at Him; a cloud received Him and He was hidden from their sight. 10 And while they looked steadfastly toward the heavens as He went up, behold two men stood by them in white robes; 11 and they said to them, “Men of the Galil, why do you stand gazing up into the heavens? This same Yeshua who has ascended from you into the heavens shall so come in like manner as you have seen Him ascend into the heavens.” | מעשי השליחים

א אֶת הַסֵּפֶר הָרִאשׁוֹן, תֵּאוֹפִיל, כָּתַבְתִּי עַל כָּל הַדְּבָרִים שֶׁהִתְחִיל אֲדוֹנֵינוּ יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ לַעֲשׂוֹת וּלְלַמֵּד,
ב עַד לַיּוֹם שֶׁבּוֹ נִשָּׂא לְאַחַר שֶׁצִּוָּה אוֹתָם לַשְּׁלִיחִים אֲשֶׁר בָּחַר בְּרוּחַ הַקֹּדֶשׁ,
ג אֲשֶׁר גַּם הֶרְאָה לָהֶם אֶת עַצְמוֹ חַי אַחֲרֵי עֱנוּתוֹ, בְּאוֹתוֹת רַבִּים בְּמֶשֶׁךְ אַרְבָּעִים יוֹם, כַּאֲשֶׁר נִרְאָה אֲלֵיהֶם וְדִבֵּר עַל מַלְכוּת הַאֱלֹהִים.
ד וְכַאֲשֶׁר אָכַל אִתָּם לֶחֶם, צִוָּה אוֹתָם שֶׁלֹּא יָסוּרוּ מִירוּשָׁלַיִם, אֶלָּא שֶׁיְּחַכּוּ לְהַבְטָחַת הָאָב, אֲשֶׁר שְׁמַעְתֶּם מִמֶּנִּי;
ה כִּי יוֹחָנָן הִטְבִּיל בְּמַיִם, וְאַתֶּם תִּטָּבְלוּ בְּרוּחַ הַקֹּדֶשׁ לֹא אַחֲרֵי יָמִים רַבִּים.
ו וְהֵם, כַּאַשֶׁר הָיוּ מְכֻנָּסִים, שְׁאָלוּהוּ וְאָמְרוּ לוֹ: אֲדוֹנֵינוּ, הַאִם בַּזְּמַן הַזֶּה אַתָּה מֵשִׁיב אֶת הַמַּלְכוּת לְיִשְׂרָאֵל?
ז אָמַר לָהֶם הוּא: לֹא לָכֶם לָדַעַת זֹאת, אֶת הַזְּמַן אוֹ אֶת הַזְּמַנִּים אַשֶׁר הָאָב קָבַע אוֹתָם בְּשִׁלְטוֹנוֹ שֶׁלּוֹ.
ח אֲבָל כַּאַשֶׁר תָּבוֹא רוּחַ הַקֹּדֶשׁ עֲלֵיכֶם, תְּקַבְּלוּ כֹּחַ וְתִהְיוּ לִי לְעֵדִים בִּירוּשָׁלַיִם וּבְכָל יְהוּדָה, גַּם בֵּין הַשּׁוֹמְרוֹנִים, וְעַד לִקְצוֹת הָאָרֶץ.
ט וְכַאֲשֶׁר אָמַר אֶת אֵלֶּה, נִשָּׂא כְּשֶׁהֵם רוֹאִים אוֹתוֹ; וְעָנָן קִבֵּל אוֹתוֹ, וְנֶעְלַם מֵעֵינֵיהֶם.
י וּכְשֶׁהִבִּיטוּ לַשָּׁמַיִם כַּאַשֶׁר הוּא הִסְתַּלֵּק, נִמְצְאוּ שְׁנֵי אֲנָשִׁים עוֹמְדִים לְיָדָם בִּלְבוּשׁ לָבָן,
יא וְאָמְרוּ לָהֶם: אֲנָשִׁים גְּלִילִיִּים, לָמָּה עוֹמְדִים אַתֶּם וּמַבִּיטִים לַשָּׁמַיִם? יֵשׁוּעַ זֶה שֶׁנִּשָּׂא מִכֶּם לַשָּׁמַיִם, כָּךְ יָבוֹא, כְּמוֹ שֶׁרְאִיתֶם אוֹתוֹ עוֹלֶה לַשָּׁמַיִם.
