D'varim Chapter 18
6 "And if a Levi comes from any of your gates out of all Yisra'el, where he sojourns, and comes with all the desire of his soul unto the place which יהוה shall choose; 7 then he shall minister in the Name of יהוה his Elohim, as all his brethren the Levi'im do, who stand there before יהוה . They 8 shall have like portions to eat, beside that which is his due according to the fathers' houses."
9 "When you are come into the land which יהוה your Elohim gives you, you shall not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. 10 There shall not be found among you any one that makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one that uses divination, a soothsayer, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, 11 or a charmer, or one that consults a ghost or a familiar spirit, or a necromancer. 12 For whoever does these things is an abomination unto יהוה ; and because of these abominations יהוה your Elohim is driving them out from before you. 13 You shall be whole-hearted with יהוה your Elohim. 14 For these nations that you are to dispossess hearken unto soothsayers, and unto diviners; but as for you, יהוה your Elohim has not suffered you so to do. 15 A Navi will יהוה your Elohim raise up unto you, from the midst of you, of your brethren, like unto me; unto him you shall hearken; 16 according to all that you did desire of יהוה your Elohim in Khorev in the day of the assembly, saying, 'Let me not hear again the voice of יהוה my Elohim, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.' 17 And יהוה said unto me, 'They have spoken well, that which they have spoken. 18 I will raise them up a Navi from among their brethren, like unto you; and I will put My D’var in his mouth, and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. 19 And it shall come to pass, that whoever will not hearken unto My D’varim which he shall speak in My Name, I will require it of him. 20 But the navi, that shall speak a word presumptuously in My Name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, that same navi shall die.' 21 And if you say in your heart, "How shall we know the word which יהוה has not spoken?" 22 When a navi speaks in the Name of יהוה , if the thing follows not, or does not come to pass, that is the thing which יהוה has not spoken; the navi has spoken it presumptuously, you shall not be afraid of him."

D'varim Chapter 19
1 "When יהוה your Elohim shall cut off the nations, whose land יהוה your Elohim gives you, and you do succeed them, and dwell in their cities, and in their houses; 2 you shall separate three cities for you in the midst of your land, which יהוה your Elohim gives you to possess it. 3 You shall prepare the way, and divide the borders of your land, which יהוה your Elohim causes you to inherit, into three parts, that every manslayer may flee there. 4 And this is the case of the manslayer, that shall flee there and live: whoever kills his neighbor unawares, and hated him not in time past; 5 as when a man goes into the forest with his neighbor to hew wood, and his hand fetches a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the head slips from the helve, and lights upon his neighbor, that he dies; he shall flee unto one of these cities and live; 6 lest the avenger of blood pursues the manslayer, while his heart is hot, and overtakes him, because the way is long, and smites him mortally; whereas he was not deserving of death, inasmuch as he hated him not in time past. 7 Therefore I command you, saying, 'You shall separate three cities for you.' 8 And if יהוה your Elohim enlarges your border, as He has sworn unto your fathers, and gives you all the land which He promised to give unto your fathers, 9 if you shall keep all this Mitzvah, to do it, which I command you this day, to love יהוה your Elohim, and to walk ever in His ways, then shall you add three cities more for you, beside these three; 10 that innocent blood is not shed in the midst of your land, which יהוה your Elohim gives you for an inheritance, and so blood is upon you."
11 "But if any man hates his neighbor, and lies in wait for him, and rises up against him, and smites him mortally that he dies; and he flees into one of these cities; 12 then the elders of his city shall send and fetch him from there, and deliver him into the hand of the avenger of blood, that he may die. 13 Your eye shall not pity him, but you shall put away the blood of the innocent from Yisra'el, that it may go well with you."

Yesha-Yahu Chapter 9
1 "The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light; they that dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them has the light shined. 2 You have multiplied the nation, You have increased their joy; they joy before You according to the joy in harvest, as men rejoice when they divide the spoil. 3 For the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, You have broken as in the day of Midyan. 4 For every boot stamped with fierceness, and every cloak rolled in blood, shall even be for burning, for fuel of fire. 5 For a boy is born unto us, a Son is given unto us; and the government is upon his shoulder; and his name is called Peleh Yo'etz El Gibor Avi Ad, Sar Shalom [Wonderful Counselor (of the) Mighty G-d (the) Eternal Father, Prince of Shalom]; 6 That the government may be increased, and of Shalom there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon Malkhuto, to establish it, and to uphold it through justice and through Tzedaka, from henceforth, even forever. The zeal of יהוה Tzeva'ot does perform this."

Yesha-Yahu Chapter 49
1 "Listen, O isles, unto me, and hearken, you peoples, from afar: יהוה has called me from the womb, from the bowels of my mother has He made mention of my name; 2 And He has made my mouth like a sharp sword, in the shadow of His hand has He hid me; and He has made me a polished shaft, in His quiver has He concealed me; 3 And He said unto me, 'You are My servant, Yisra'el, in whom I will be glorified.' 4 But I said, 'I have labored in vain, I have spent my strength for nought and vanity; yet surely my right is with יהוה , and my recompense with my Elohim'. 5 And now says יהוה that formed me from the womb to be His servant, to bring Ya'akov back to Him, and that Yisra'el be gathered unto Him, for I am honorable in the eyes of יהוה , and my Elohim is become my strength, 6 Yes, He says, 'It is too light a thing that you should be My servant to raise up the tribes of Ya'akov, and to restore the offspring of Yisra'el; I will also give you for a light of the nations, that My Yeshua may be unto the ends of the earth'.

Yesha-Yahu Chapter 51
12 I, even I, am He that comforts you: who are you, that you are afraid of man that shall die, and of the son of man that shall be made as grass; 13 And have forgotten יהוה your Maker, that stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and yet you fear continually all the day because of the fury of the oppressor, as he makes ready to destroy? And where is the fury of the oppressor? 14 He that is bent down shall speedily be loosed; and he shall not go down dying into the pit, neither shall his bread fail. 15 For I am יהוה your Elohim, who stirs up the sea, that the waves thereof roar; יהוה Tzeva'ot is His name. 16 And I have put My D'varim in your mouth, and have covered you in the shadow of My hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Tzion, 'You are My people.' 17 Awake, awake, stand up, O Yerushalayim, that have drunk at the hand of יהוה the cup of His fury; you have drunken the beaker, even the cup of staggering, and drained it. 18 There is none to guide her among all the sons whom she has brought forth; neither is there any that takes her by the hand of all the sons that she has brought up. 19 These two things are befallen you; who shall bemoan you? Desolation and destruction, and the famine and the sword; how shall I comfort you? 20 Your sons have fainted, they lie at the head of all the streets, as an antelope in a net; they are full of the fury of יהוה , the rebuke of your Elohim. 21 Therefore hear now this, you afflicted, and drunken, but not with wine:"
22 "Thus says your Adonai יהוה , and your Elohim that pleads the cause of His people, 'Behold, I have taken out of your hand the cup of staggering; the beaker, even the cup of My fury, you shall no more drink it again; 23 And I will put it into the hand of them that afflict you; that have said to your soul, 'Bow down, that we may go over'; and you have laid your back as the ground, and as the street, to them that go over."

Yesha-Yahu Chapter 52
1 "Awake, awake, put on your strength, O Tzion; put on your beautiful garments, O Yerushalayim, the set-apart city; for henceforth there shall no more come into you the uncircumcised and the unclean. 2 Shake yourself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Yerushalayim; loose yourself from the bands of your neck, O captive Bat Tzion. 3 For thus says יהוה , 'You were sold for nought; and you shall be redeemed without money'. 4 For thus says Adonai יהוה , 'My people went down aforetime into Mitzrayim to sojourn there; and Ashur oppressed them without cause. 5 Now therefore, what do I do here', says יהוה , 'seeing that My people is taken away for nought? They that rule over them do howl', says יהוה , 'and My Name continually all the day is blasphemed. 6 Therefore My people shall know My Name; therefore they shall know in that day that I, even He that spoke, behold, here I am. 7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of the messenger of good tidings, that announces shalom, the harbinger of good tidings, that announces Yeshua[h]; that says unto Tzion, "Your Elohim reigns!' 8 Hark, your watchmen! They lift up the voice, together do they sing; for they shall see, eye to eye, יהוה returning to Tzion. 9 Break forth into joy, sing together, you waste places of Yerushalayim; for יהוה has comforted His people, He has redeemed Yerushalayim. 10 יהוה has made bare His Zero'ah Kadosh in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the Yeshua[h] of our Elohim. 11 Depart, depart, go out from there, touch no unclean thing; go out of the midst of her; be clean, you that bear the vessels of יהוה . For 12 you shall not go out in haste, neither shall you go by flight; for יהוה will go before you, and Elohei Yisra'el will be your rear guard.

Ma’asei HaShlikhim Chapter 7
35 This is the Moshe whom they had denied, saying, ‘Who appointed you leader and judge over us?’ This very one Elohim sent to be a leader and deliverer to them by the hand of the Malakh which had appeared to him in the bush. 36 It was he who brought them out after he had performed miracles, wonders, and signs in the land of Mitzrayim and in Yam Suf, and in the wilderness for forty years. 37 This is the Moshe who said to the sons of Yisra’el, ' יהוה your Elohim will raise up for you a Navi like me from among your brethren; give heed to Him.’ 38 It was he who was in the congregation in the wilderness with the Malakh who spoke to him and to our fathers in Har Sinai. He is the one who received the living words to give to us. 39 Yet our fathers would not listen to him, but they left him, and in their hearts turned towards Mitzrayim. 40 They said to Aharon, ‘Make us gods to go before us, for this very Moshe who brought us out of the land of Mitzrayim, we do not know what has become of him.’ 41 And they made a calf for themselves in those days and offered sacrifices to idols, and were pleased with the work of their hands.”
42 “Then Elohim turned and gave them up that they might worship the host of heaven, as it is written in the book of the Nevi'im, ‘O Sons of Yisra’el, why have you offered me slain creatures or sacrifices during the period of forty years in the wilderness? 43 Indeed you have borne the tabernacle of Molokh and the star of the god Refan; and you have made images to worship them; therefore I will remove you beyond Bavel.’ 44 Behold the Mishkan HaEdut of our fathers was in the wilderness just as יהוה , who spoke to Moshe, had commanded him to make it after the pattern which he had shown him. 45 And this very Mishkan, our fathers, together with Yehoshua, brought into the land which Elohim took away from the peoples whom He drove out before them and gave it to them for an inheritance, and it was handed down until the days of David, 46 who found favor before Elohim and asked that he might find a dwelling place for the Elohim of Ya’akov. 47 But Shlomo built Elohim a house. 48 Yet Elyon did not dwell in temples made with hands, for as HaNavi had said, 49 ‘Heaven is my throne, and the earth is the footstool under my feet. What kind of house will you build me, says יהוה , or where is the place of my rest? 50 Behold, has not my hand made all these things?’”
51 “O you stubborn and insincere in heart and hearing, you always resist The Ru'akh HaKodesh; as your fathers did, so do you. 52 Which of the Nevi’im have not your fathers persecuted and killed? Especially have they slain those who foretold the coming of HaTzadik whom you betrayed and killed. 53 You received the Torah by the disposition of Malakhim, and have not kept it!”
54 When they heard these things, they were enraged, and gnashed their teeth at him. 55 But he, full of absolute trust and The Ru'akh HaKodesh, looked up to heaven and saw the K’vod HaElohim, and Yeshua standing at the right hand of Elohim. 56 And he said, “Behold I see the heavens opened and Ben HaAdam standing at the right hand of Elohim.” 57 Then they cried out with a loud voice and stopped their ears and with one accord shouted threats against Tzefan-Yah. 58 And they seized him and took him outside the city and began to stone him. Those who testified against him placed their clothes under the care of a young man called Sha’ul. 59 And they stoned Tzefan-Yah as he prayed, saying, “Adoneinu, Yeshua, accept my spirit.” 60 And as he knelt down, he cried with a loud voice and said, “Adoneinu, do not hold this sin against them.” When he had said this, he passed away. And Sha’ul was pleased, and participated in his murder.

Matti Chapter 26
47 While He was speaking, behold, Yehudah the traitor, one of the twelve, came, and with him a large crowd with swords and staves, from the chief Kohanim and the elders of the people. 48 Now Yehudah the traitor had given them a sign, saying, “He whom I kiss, it is He, arrest Him.” 49 And immediately he came up to Yeshua and said, “Shalom, Rabbi,” and he kissed Him. 50 Yeshua said to him, “Is it for this that you have come, my friend?” Then they came near and laid hands on Yeshua, and arrested Him. 51 And behold, one of those who were with Yeshua stretched out his hand and drew a sword, and struck it at the servant of The Kohen HaGadol, and cut off his ear. 52 Then Yeshua said to him, “Return the sword to its place; for all who take up swords will die by swords.” 53 Or do you think that I cannot ask of Avi, and He will now raise up for me more than twelve legions of Malakhim? 54How then could the scriptures be fulfilled, that it must be so?” 55 At that very hour Yeshua said to the people, “Have you come out with swords and staves to arrest me like a bandit? I sat with you every day, teaching in the Heikhal, and you did not arrest me. 56 But this has happened so that the scriptures of the Nevi'im might be fulfilled.” Then all the Talmidim left Him, and fled.
57 And those who had arrested Yeshua took him to Kayafah, The Kohen HaGadol, where the Sofrim and the elders had assembled. 58 But Shimon Kefa followed Him afar off, up to the courtyard of The Kohen HaGadol, and he went inside and sat with the soldiers, to see the end of it. 59 Now the chief Kohanim and the elders and the whole council were seeking witnesses against Yeshua, so that they might put Him to death. 60 But they could not find any; then there came a great many false witnesses; but at the end two came forward, 61 and said, “This man said, ‘I can tear down the Heikhal of Elohim, and build it in three days.’” 62 And The Kohen HaGadol stood up and said to Him, “You are not answering anything. What is it that these men testify against you?” 63 But Yeshua was silent. Then The Kohen HaGadol answered and said to Him, “I adjure you by the living Elohim to tell us if you are the Mashi'akh, Ben HaElohim?” 64 Yeshua said to him, “You have said it. But I say to you that from henceforth you will see Ben HaAdam sitting at the right hand of the power, and coming upon the clouds of the sky.” 65 The Kohen HaGadol then rent his clothes and said, “Behold, He is blaspheming; why therefore do we need witnesses? Behold, you have now heard his blasphemy. 66 What else do you want?” They answered and said, “He deserves death.” 67 Then they spat in His face, and struck Him on His head, and others beat Him, 68 saying, “O Mashi'akh, prophesy to us; who smote you?”
69 Now Kefa sat outside in the courtyard; and a maidservant came up to him, and said to him, “You also were with Yeshua HaNatzri.” 70 But he denied it before all of them, and said, “I do not understand what you are saying.” 71 And as he was going to the porch, another one saw him, and she said to them, “This man was also there with Yeshua HaNatzri.” 72 Again he denied it with oaths, “I do not know the man.” 73 After a while, those who were standing came up and said to Kefa, “Truly you also are one of them, for even your speech proves it.” 74 Then he began to curse and to swear, “I do not know the man.” At that very hour the cock crowed. 75 And Kefa remembered the word of Yeshua, which He had said to him, “Before the cock crows, you will deny me three times.” And he went outside and wept bitterly.

Matti Chapter 27
1 When it was morning, the chief Kohanim and the elders of the people took counsel concerning Yeshua, how to put Him to death. 2 So they bound Him, and took Him and delivered Him to Pilatos the governor.
3 Then Yehudah the traitor, when he saw that Yeshua was convicted, repented, and went away and brought back the same thirty pieces of silver to the chief Kohanim and the elders. 4 And he said, “I have sinned, because I have betrayed innocent blood.” But they said to him, “What is that to us? You know better.” 5 Then he threw the silver in the Heikhal and departed; and he went and hanged himself. 6 The chief Kohanim took the silver and said, “It is not permissible to put it in the house of offerings, because it is the price of blood.” 7 And they took counsel, and bought with it the potter’s field, for a cemetery for strangers. 8 On this account that field was called ‘The field of Blood,’ to this day. 9 Then what was spoken by the Navi was fulfilled, who said, “I took the thirty pieces of silver, the costly price which was bargained with B'nei Yisra'el. 10 And I gave them for the potter’s field, as יהוה commanded me.”
