BaMidbar Chapter 23
27 And Balak said unto Bilam, "Come now, I will take you unto another place; perhaps it will please Elohim that you may curse them for me from there." 28 And Balak took Bilam unto the top of Peh'or, that looks down upon the desert. 29 And Bilam said unto Balak, "Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven bullocks and seven rams." 30 And Balak did as Bilam had said, and offered up a bullock and a ram on every altar.

BaMidbar Chapter 24
1 And when Bilam saw that it pleased יהוה to bless Yisra'el, he went not, as at the other times, to meet with enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness. 2 And Bilam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Yisra'el dwelling tribe by tribe; and the Ru'akh of Elohim came upon him. 3 And he took up his mashal, and said: "The saying of Bilam the son of Be'or, and the saying of the man whose eye is opened; 4 the saying of him who hears the words of God, who sees the vision of Shadai, fallen down, yet with opened eyes: 5 How lovely are your tents, O Ya'akov, your dwelling places, O Yisra'el! 6 As valleys stretched out, as gardens by the river-side; as aloes planted of יהוה , as cedars beside the waters; 7 Water shall flow from his branches, and his seed shall be in many waters; and his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted. 8 God, who brought him forth out of Mitzrayim, is for him like the lofty horns of the wild ox; he shall eat up the nations that are his adversaries, and shall break their bones in pieces, and pierce them through with his arrows. 9 He knelt, he lay down as a lion, and as a lioness; who shall rouse him up? Blessed is everyone that blesses you, and cursed is everyone that curses you'."
10 And Balak’s anger was kindled against Bilam, and he smote his hands together; and Balak said unto Bilam, "I called you to curse my enemies, and, behold, you have altogether blessed them these three times. 11 Therefore now flee to your place; I thought to promote you unto great honor; but, lo, יהוה has kept you back from honor." 12 And Bilam said unto Balak, "Did I not say also to your messengers that you sent unto me, saying, 13 'If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond what יהוה says, to do either good or bad of my own mind; what יהוה speaks, that will I speak?' 14 And now, behold, I go unto my people; come, and I will announce to you what this people shall do to your people in the Akharit HaYamim."
15 And he took up his mashal, and said, "The saying of Bilam the son of Be'or, and the saying of the man whose eye is opened; 16 the saying of him who hears the words of God, and knows the knowledge of Elyon, who sees the vision of Shadai, fallen down, yet with opened eyes: 17 I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near; there shall step forth a star out of Ya'akov, and a scepter shall rise out of Yisra'el, and shall smite through the corners of Mo'av, and break down all the sons of Set. 18 And Edom shall be a possession, Se'ir also, even his enemies, shall be a possession; while Yisra'el does valiantly. 19 And out of Ya'akov shall one have dominion, and shall destroy the remnant from the city'."
20 And he looked on Amalek, and took up his mashal, and said, "Amalek was the first of the nations; but his end shall come to destruction." 21 And he looked on the Keni, and took up his mashal, and said, "Though firm is your dwelling-place, and though your nest is set in the rock; 22 nevertheless Kayin shall be wasted. How long? Ashur shall carry you away captive." 23 And he took up his mashal, and said, "Alas, who shall live after God has appointed him? 24 But ships shall come from the coast of Kittim, and they shall afflict Ashur, and shall afflict Eveir, and he also shall come to destruction." 25 And Bilam rose up, and went and returned to his place; and Balak also went his way.

BaMidbar Chapter 25
1 And Yisra'el abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit harlotry with the daughters of Mo'av. 2 And they called the people unto the sacrifices of their gods; and the people did eat, and bowed down to their gods. 3 And Yisra'el joined himself unto the Ba'al of Peh'or; and the anger of יהוה was kindled against Yisra'el. 4 And יהוה said unto Moshe, "Take all the chiefs of the people, and hang them up unto יהוה in the face of the sun, that the fierce anger of יהוה may turn away from Yisra'el." 5 And Moshe said unto the Shoftim of Yisra'el, "Slay every one his men that have joined themselves unto the Ba'al of Peh'or." 6 And, behold, one of B'nei Yisra'el came and brought unto his brethren a Midyanit woman in the sight of Moshe, and in the sight of all the assembly of B'nei Yisra'el, while they were weeping at the door of the Ohel Mo'ed. 7 And when Pin'khas Ben El Azar Ben Aharon, the kohen, saw it, he rose up from the midst of the assembly, and took a spear in his hand. 8 And he went after the man of Yisra'el into the chamber, and thrust both of them through, the man of Yisra'el, and the woman through her belly. So the plague was stayed from B'nei Yisra'el. 9 And those that died by the plague were twenty-four thousand.

HAFTARAH

Mikhah Chapter 5
6 "And the remnant of Ya'akov shall be in the midst of many peoples, as dew from יהוה , as showers upon the grass, that are not looked for from man, nor awaited at the hands of the sons of men."
7 "And the remnant of Ya'akov shall be among the nations, in the midst of many peoples, as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep, who, if he goes through, treads down and tears in pieces, and there is none to deliver. 8 Let Your hand be lifted up above Your adversaries, and let all Your enemies be cut off. 9 And it shall come to pass in that day, says יהוה , that I will cut off your horses out of the midst of you, and will destroy your chariots; 10 and I will cut off the cities of your land, and will throw down all your strongholds; 11 and I will cut off witchcrafts out of your hand; and you shall have no more soothsayers. 12 And I will cut off your graven images and your pillars out of the midst of you; and you shall no more worship the work of your hands. 13 And I will pluck up your Asherim out of the midst of you; and I will destroy your enemies. 14 And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the nations, because they hearkened not."

Mikhah Chapter 6
1 Hear now what יהוה says, "Arise, contend before the mountains, and let the hills hear your voice. 2 Hear, O you mountains, the controversy of יהוה , and you enduring rocks, the foundations of the earth; for יהוה has a controversy with His people, and He will plead with Yisra'el. 3 O My people, what have I done unto you? And wherein have I wearied you? Testify against Me. 4 For I brought you up out of the land of Mitzrayim, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, and I sent before you Moshe, Aharon, and Miryam. 5 O My people, remember now what Balak king of Mo'av devised, and what Bilam the son of Be'or answered him; from Shittim unto Gilgal, that you may know the righteous acts of יהוה . With 6 what shall I come before יהוה , and bow myself before Elohim on high? Shall I come before Him with Olot, with calves of a year old? 7 Will יהוה be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my first-born for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?' 8 It has been told you, O man, what is good, and what יהוה does require of you, only to do justly, and to love compassion, and to walk humbly with your Elohim.

BRIT HAKHADASHAH

Kefa Bet Chapter 2
1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying יהוה who has redeemed them, and thus bringing upon themselves swift destruction. 2 Many will follow their pernicious ways, by reason of whom evil will be spoken of Derekh HaEmet.
3 And through covetousness they will exploit you with feigned words, whose judgment from the very beginning has not ceased, and their damnation is always active. 4 Elohim did not spare the Malakhim who sinned, but sent them in chains of darkness to be reserved for tormenting judgment in the depths beneath; 5 and He did not spare the old world, but only No'akh, the herald of Tzedaka, with his family, eight in all, when he brought the flood upon the wicked people, 6 and set afire the cities of S'dom and Amorah, and condemned them with an upheaval, making them an example to those who hereafter should live ungodly lives; 7 and delivered Lot HaTzadik, mortified by the filthy conduct of those without Torah; 8 for while that Tzadik dwelt among them, in seeing and hearing their deeds against Torah, his righteous soul was vexed from day to day. 9 יהוה knows how to deliver from tribulation those who revere Him, and He will reserve the wicked to be punished on Yom HaDin.
10 And especially will He punish those who follow after filthy lusts of the flesh, and have no respect for authority. Bold and self-willed are they, who do not tremble when they blaspheme against HaKavod; 11 whereas Malakhim, who are greater in power and might, do not bring upon themselves the condemnation of blasphemy. 12 But these men, as natural brute beasts, made for slaughter and destruction, speak evil of the things which they do not understand; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption, 13 and shall receive the reward of iniquity, as they consider it a delightful thing to revel in the daytime. Spots and blemishes have they, and sport themselves with their own pleasures as they feast in idleness, 14 and have eyes full of adultery and of sin that does not cease; beguiling, unstable souls are they, whose hearts are well versed in covetousness; accursed sons are they, 15 who have forsaken the Straight Way and are gone astray, following the way of Bilam, the son of Be'or, who loved the wages of iniquity, 16 but who was rebuked for his iniquity; a dumb donkey, speaking with a man’s voice, halted the folly of the prophet. 17 These men are springs without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; the mist of darkness is reserved for them forever. 18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the sensual lusts of the flesh; but there are those who flee, when the time is easy, from those who live in harlotry. 19 They, while they promise liberty, themselves are the slaves of corruption; for a man is overcome by whatever it is that enslaves him. 20 For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of Adoneinu and Moshi'einu Yeshua HaMashi'akh, they are again entangled by these very things, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 Truly it would have been better for them not to have known the Derekh HaTzedaka, than, after they have known it, to turn from the kadosh mitzvah that was delivered to them. 22 It will come to pass with them according to the true proverb, "The dog returns to his own vomit, and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire."

Yokhanan Markos Chapter 11
12 And the next day, when they went out of Beit Anya, He became hungry. 13 And He saw a fig tree in the distance which had leaves on it. So He came to it to see if He could find anything on it; and when He came He found nothing on it except leaves; for it was not yet time for the figs. 14 And He said to it, “From now and forever let no man eat of your fruit.” And His Talmidim heard it. 15 And they came to Yerushalayim; and Yeshua entered into the Heikhal of Elohim, and began to cast out those who were buying and selling in the Heikhal; and He overturned the trays of the moneychangers and the stands of those who sold doves; 16 and He would not allow any man to bring goods into the Heikhal. 17 And He taught them, saying, “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called Beit Tefilah for all the peoples?' But you have made it a bandits' cave.” 18 And the chief Kohanim and the Sofrim heard it, and they sought how to do away with Him; for they were afraid of Him, because all the people were amazed at His teaching. 19 And when evening came, they went outside of the city. 20 And in the morning, as they were passing, they saw the fig tree withered from its roots. 21 And Shimon remembered and said to him, “Adon, behold, the fig tree which you cursed has withered.” 22 Yeshua answered, saying to them, “If you have firm trust in Elohim, 23 truly I say to you that whoever should say to this mountain, ‘Be moved and fall into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but trusts that what he says will be done, it will be done for him. 24 Therefore I say to you, anything you pray for and ask, trust that you will receive it, and it will be done for you. 25 And when you stand up to pray, forgive whatever you have against any man, so that Avikhem in heaven will forgive you your trespasses. 26 But if you will not forgive, even Avikhem in heaven will not forgive you your trespasses.”
