BaMidbar Chapter 29
1 And in the seventh khodesh, on the first day of the khodesh, you shall have a Mikra Kodesh: you shall do no manner of servile work; it is Yom Teru'ah for you. 2 And you shall prepare an Olah for a sweet savor unto יהוה : one young bullock, one ram, seven he-lambs of the first year without blemish; 3 and their Minkhah, fine flour mingled with oil, three tenth parts for the bullock, two tenth parts for the ram, 4 and one tenth part for every lamb of the seven lambs; 5 and one he-goat for a Khatat, to make atonement for you; 6 beside the Olah of the khodesh, and the Minkhah thereof, and the Olah Tamid and the Minkhah thereof, and their Nesekh, according unto their ordinance, for a sweet savor, an offering made by fire unto יהוה .
7 And on the tenth day of this seventh khodesh you shall have a Mikra Kodesh; and you shall afflict your souls; you shall do no manner of work; 8 but you shall present an Olah unto יהוה for a sweet savor: one young bullock, one ram, seven he-lambs of the first year; they shall be unto you without blemish; 9 and their Minkhah, fine flour mingled with oil, three tenth parts for the bullock, two tenth parts for the one ram, 10 a several tenth part for every lamb of the seven lambs; 11 one he-goat for a Khatat; beside the Khatat of atonement, and the Olah Tamid, and the Minkhah thereof, and their Nesekh.
12 And on the fifteenth day of the seventh khodesh you shall have a Mikra Kodesh: you shall do no manner of servile work, and you shall celebrate a Khag unto יהוה seven days; 13 and you shall present an Olah, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor unto יהוה : thirteen young bullocks, two rams, fourteen he-lambs of the first year; they shall be without blemish; 14 and their Minkhah, fine flour mingled with oil, three tenth parts for every bullock of the thirteen bullocks, two tenth parts for each ram of the two rams, 15 and a several tenth part for every lamb of the fourteen lambs; 16 and one he-goat for a Khatat beside the Olah Tamid, the Minkhah thereof, and the Nesekh thereof.
17 And on the second day you shall present twelve young bullocks, two rams, fourteen he-lambs of the first year without blemish; 18 and their Minkhah and their Nesekh for the bullocks, for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number, after the ordinance; 19 and one he-goat for a Khatat; beside the Olah Tamid, and the Minkhah thereof, and their Nesekh.
20 And on the third day eleven bullocks, two rams, fourteen he-lambs of the first year without blemish; 21 and their Minkhah and their Nesekh for the bullocks, for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number, after the ordinance; 22 and one he-goat for a Khatat; beside the Olah Tamid, and the Minkhah thereof, and the Nesekh thereof.
23 And on the fourth day ten bullocks, two rams, fourteen he-lambs of the first year without blemish; 24 their Minkhah and their Nesekh for the bullocks, for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number, after the ordinance; 25 and one he-goat for a Khatat; beside the Olah Tamid, the Minkhah thereof, and the Nesekh thereof.
26 And on the fifth day nine bullocks, two rams, fourteen he-lambs of the first year without blemish; 27 and their Minkhah and their Nesekh for the bullocks, for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number, after the ordinance; 28 and one he-goat for a Khatat; beside the Olah Tamid, and the Minkhah thereof, and the Nesekh thereof.
29 And on the sixth day eight bullocks, two rams, fourteen he-lambs of the first year without blemish; 30 and their Minkhah and their Nesekh for the bullocks, for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number, after the ordinance; 31 and one he-goat for a Khatat; beside the Olah Tamid, the Minkhah thereof, and the Nesekh thereof.
32 And on the seventh day seven bullocks, two rams, fourteen he-lambs of the first year without blemish; 33 and their Minkhah and their Nesekh for the bullocks, for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number, after the ordinance; 34 and one he-goat for a Khatat; beside the Olah Tamid, the Minkhah thereof, and the Nesekh thereof.
35 On the eighth day you shall have a festive assembly: you shall do no manner of servile work; 36 but you shall present an Olah, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor unto יהוה : one bullock, one ram, seven he-lambs of the first year without blemish; 37 their Minkhah and their Nesekh for the bullock, for the ram, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, after the ordinance; 38 and one he-goat for a Khatat; beside the Olah Tamid, and the Minkhah thereof, and the Nesekh thereof. 39 These you shall offer unto יהוה in your Mo'edim, beside your vows, and your freewill-offerings, whether they be your Olot, or your Minkhot, or your Neshekhot, or your Sh'lamim."

א וּבַחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי בְּאֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ מִקְרָא קֹדֶשׁ יִהְיֶה לָכֶם כָּל מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ יוֹם תְּרוּעָה יִהְיֶה לָכֶם. ב וַעֲשִׂיתֶם עֹלָה לְרֵיחַ נִיחֹחַ לַיהוה פַּר בֶּן בָּקָר אֶחָד אַיִל אֶחָד כְּבָשִׂים בְּנֵי שָׁנָה שִׁבְעָה תְּמִימִם. ג וּמִנְחָתָם סֹלֶת בְּלוּלָה בַשָּׁמֶן שְׁלֹשָׁה עֶשְׂרֹנִים לַפָּר שְׁנֵי עֶשְׂרֹנִים לָאָיִל. ד וְעִשָּׂרוֹן אֶחָד לַכֶּבֶשׂ הָאֶחָד לְשִׁבְעַת הַכְּבָשִׂים. ה וּשְׂעִיר עִזִּים אֶחָד חַטָּאת לְכַפֵּר עֲלֵיכֶם. ומִלְּבַד עֹלַת הַחֹדֶשׁ וּמִנְחָתָהּ וְעֹלַת הַתָּמִיד וּמִנְחָתָהּ וְנִסְכֵּיהֶם כְּמִשְׁפָּטָם לְרֵיחַ נִיחֹחַ אִשֶּׁה לַיהוה .
ז וּבֶעָשׂוֹר לַחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי הַזֶּה מִקְרָא קֹדֶשׁ יִהְיֶה לָכֶם וְעִנִּיתֶם אֶת נַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶם כָּל מְלָאכָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ. ח וְהִקְרַבְתֶּם עֹלָה לַיהוה רֵיחַ נִיחֹחַ פַּר בֶּן בָּקָר אֶחָד אַיִל אֶחָד כְּבָשִׂים בְּנֵי שָׁנָה שִׁבְעָה תְּמִימִם יִהְיוּ לָכֶם. ט וּמִנְחָתָם סֹלֶת בְּלוּלָה בַשָּׁמֶן שְׁלֹשָׁה עֶשְׂרֹנִים לַפָּר שְׁנֵי עֶשְׂרֹנִים לָאַיִל הָאֶחָד. י עִשָּׂרוֹן עִשָּׂרוֹן לַכֶּבֶשׂ הָאֶחָד לְשִׁבְעַת הַכְּבָשִׂים. יא שְׂעִיר עִזִּים אֶחָד חַטָּאת מִלְּבַד חַטַּאת הַכִּפֻּרִים וְעֹלַת הַתָּמִיד וּמִנְחָתָהּ וְנִסְכֵּיהֶם.
יב וּבַחֲמִשָּׁה עָשָׂר יוֹם לַחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי מִקְרָא קֹדֶשׁ יִהְיֶה לָכֶם כָּל מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ וְחַגֹּתֶם חַג לַיהוה שִׁבְעַת יָמִים. יג וְהִקְרַבְתֶּם עֹלָה אִשֵּׁה רֵיחַ נִיחֹחַ לַיהוה פָּרִים בְּנֵי בָקָר שְׁלֹשָׁה עָשָׂר אֵילִם שְׁנָיִם כְּבָשִׂים בְּנֵי שָׁנָה אַרְבָּעָה עָשָׂר תְּמִימִם יִהְיוּ. יד וּמִנְחָתָם סֹלֶת בְּלוּלָה בַשָּׁמֶן שְׁלֹשָׁה עֶשְׂרֹנִים לַפָּר הָאֶחָד לִשְׁלֹשָׁה עָשָׂר פָּרִים שְׁנֵי עֶשְׂרֹנִים לָאַיִל הָאֶחָד לִשְׁנֵי הָאֵילִם. טו וְעִשָּׂרוֹן עִשָּׂרוֹן לַכֶּבֶשׂ הָאֶחָד לְאַרְבָּעָה עָשָׂר כְּבָשִׂים. טז וּשְׂעִיר עִזִּים אֶחָד חַטָּאת מִלְּבַד עֹלַת הַתָּמִיד מִנְחָתָהּ וְנִסְכָּהּ.
יז וּבַיּוֹם הַשֵּׁנִי פָּרִים בְּנֵי בָקָר שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר אֵילִם שְׁנָיִם כְּבָשִׂים בְּנֵי שָׁנָה אַרְבָּעָה עָשָׂר תְּמִימִם. יח וּמִנְחָתָם וְנִסְכֵּיהֶם לַפָּרִים לָאֵילִם וְלַכְּבָשִׂים בְּמִסְפָּרָם כַּמִּשְׁפָּט. יט וּשְׂעִיר עִזִּים אֶחָד חַטָּאת מִלְּבַד עֹלַת הַתָּמִיד וּמִנְחָתָהּ וְנִסְכֵּיהֶם.
כ וּבַיּוֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁי פָּרִים עַשְׁתֵּי עָשָׂר אֵילִם שְׁנָיִם כְּבָשִׂים בְּנֵי שָׁנָה אַרְבָּעָה עָשָׂר תְּמִימִם. כא וּמִנְחָתָם וְנִסְכֵּיהֶם לַפָּרִים לָאֵילִם וְלַכְּבָשִׂים בְּמִסְפָּרָם כַּמִּשְׁפָּט. כב וּשְׂעִיר חַטָּאת אֶחָד מִלְּבַד עֹלַת הַתָּמִיד וּמִנְחָתָהּ וְנִסְכָּהּ.
כג וּבַיּוֹם הָרְבִיעִי פָּרִים עֲשָׂרָה אֵילִם שְׁנָיִם כְּבָשִׂים בְּנֵי שָׁנָה אַרְבָּעָה עָשָׂר תְּמִימִם. כד מִנְחָתָם וְנִסְכֵּיהֶם לַפָּרִים לָאֵילִם וְלַכְּבָשִׂים בְּמִסְפָּרָם כַּמִּשְׁפָּט. כה וּשְׂעִיר עִזִּים אֶחָד חַטָּאת מִלְּבַד עֹלַת הַתָּמִיד מִנְחָתָהּ וְנִסְכָּהּ.
כו וּבַיּוֹם הַחֲמִישִׁי פָּרִים תִּשְׁעָה אֵילִם שְׁנָיִם כְּבָשִׂים בְּנֵי שָׁנָה אַרְבָּעָה עָשָׂר תְּמִימִם. כז וּמִנְחָתָם וְנִסְכֵּיהֶם לַפָּרִים לָאֵילִם וְלַכְּבָשִׂים בְּמִסְפָּרָם כַּמִּשְׁפָּט. כח וּשְׂעִיר חַטָּאת אֶחָד מִלְּבַד עֹלַת הַתָּמִיד וּמִנְחָתָהּ וְנִסְכָּהּ.
כט וּבַיּוֹם הַשִּׁשִּׁי פָּרִים שְׁמֹנָה אֵילִם שְׁנָיִם כְּבָשִׂים בְּנֵי שָׁנָה אַרְבָּעָה עָשָׂר תְּמִימִם. ל וּמִנְחָתָם וְנִסְכֵּיהֶם לַפָּרִים לָאֵילִם וְלַכְּבָשִׂים בְּמִסְפָּרָם כַּמִּשְׁפָּט. לא וּשְׂעִיר חַטָּאת אֶחָד מִלְּבַד עֹלַת הַתָּמִיד מִנְחָתָהּ וּנְסָכֶיהָ.
לב וּבַיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי פָּרִים שִׁבְעָה אֵילִם שְׁנָיִם כְּבָשִׂים בְּנֵי שָׁנָה אַרְבָּעָה עָשָׂר תְּמִימִם. לג וּמִנְחָתָם וְנִסְכֵּהֶם לַפָּרִים לָאֵילִם וְלַכְּבָשִׂים בְּמִסְפָּרָם כְּמִשְׁפָּטָם. לד וּשְׂעִיר חַטָּאת אֶחָד מִלְּבַד עֹלַת הַתָּמִיד מִנְחָתָהּ וְנִסְכָּהּ.
לה בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁמִינִי עֲצֶרֶת תִּהְיֶה לָכֶם כָּל מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ. לו וְהִקְרַבְתֶּם עֹלָה אִשֵּׁה רֵיחַ נִיחֹחַ לַיהוה פַּר אֶחָד אַיִל אֶחָד כְּבָשִׂים בְּנֵי שָׁנָה שִׁבְעָה תְּמִימִם. לז מִנְחָתָם וְנִסְכֵּיהֶם לַפָּר לָאַיִל וְלַכְּבָשִׂים בְּמִסְפָּרָם כַּמִּשְׁפָּט. לח וּשְׂעִיר חַטָּאת אֶחָד מִלְּבַד עֹלַת הַתָּמִיד וּמִנְחָתָהּ וְנִסְכָּהּ. לט אֵלֶּה תַּעֲשׂוּ לַיהוה בְּמוֹעֲדֵיכֶם לְבַד מִנִּדְרֵיכֶם וְנִדְבֹתֵיכֶם לְעֹלֹתֵיכֶם וּלְמִנְחֹתֵיכֶם וּלְנִסְכֵּיכֶם וּלְשַׁלְמֵיכֶם.

Melakhim Alef Chapter 19
1 And Akhav told Izavel all that Eli-Yahu had done, and how he had slain all the prophets with the sword. 2 Then Izavel sent a messenger unto Eli-Yahu, saying, "So let the gods do [to me], and more also, if I make not your life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time." 3 And when he saw that, he arose, and went for his life, and came to Be'er Sheva, which belongs to Yehudah, and left his servant there. 4 But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a broom tree; and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, "It is enough; now, O יהוה , take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers." 5 And he lay down and slept under a broom tree; and, behold, a Malakh touched him, and said unto him, "Arise and eat." 6 And he looked, and, behold, there was at his head a cake baked on the hot stones, and a cruse of water. And he did eat and drink, and laid himself down again. 7 And the Malakh יהוה came again the second time, and touched him, and said, "Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for you." 8 And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meal forty days and forty nights unto Khorev the mount of Elohim.
9 And he came there unto a cave, and lodged there; and, behold, the D'var יהוה came to him, and He said unto him, "What are you doing here, Eli-Yahu?" 10 And he said, "I have been very jealous for יהוה ; for B'nei Yisra'el have forsaken Your Brit, thrown down Your altars, and slain Your Nevi'im with the sword; and I, even I only am left; and they seek my life, to take it away." 11 And He said, "Go forth, and stand upon the mount before יהוה ." And, behold, יהוה passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and broke in pieces the rocks before יהוה ; but יהוה was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake; but יהוה was not in the earthquake; 12 and after the earthquake a fire; but יהוה was not in the fire; and after the fire, a still, small voice. 13 And it was so, when Eli-Yahu heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entrance of the cave. And behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, "What are you doing here, Eli-Yahu?" 14 And he said, "I have been very jealous for יהוה ; for B'nei Yisra'el have forsaken Your Brit, thrown down Your altars, and slain Your Nevi'im with the sword; and I, even I only am left; and they seek my life, to take it away." 15 And יהוה said unto him, "Go, return on your way to the wilderness of Damesek; and when you come, you shall anoint Khaza'el to be king over Aram; 16 and Yehu Ben Nimshi shall you anoint to be king over Yisra'el; and Elisha Ben Shafat of Avel Mekholah shall you anoint to be Navi under you. 17 And it shall come to pass, that him that escapes from the sword of Khaza'el shall Yehu slay; and him that escapes from the sword of Yehu shall Elisha slay. 18 Yet will I leave seven thousand in Yisra'el, all the knees which have not bowed unto Ba'al, and every mouth which has not kissed him."
19 So he departed there, and found Elisha Ben Shafat, who was plowing, with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth; and Eli-Yahu passed over unto him, and cast his mantle upon him. 20 And he left the oxen, and ran after Eli-Yahu, and said, "Let me, I pray, kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow you." And he said unto him, "Go back; for what have I done to you?" 21 And he returned from following him, and took the yoke of oxen, and slew them, and boiled their flesh with the instruments of the oxen, and gave unto the people, and they did eat. Then he arose, and went after Eli-Yahu, and ministered unto him.

מְּלָכִים א פרק יט
א וַיַּגֵּד אַחְאָב לְאִיזֶבֶל אֵת כָּל אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה אֵלִיָּהוּ וְאֵת כָּל אֲשֶׁר הָרַג אֶת כָּל הַנְּבִיאִים בֶּחָרֶב. ב וַתִּשְׁלַח אִיזֶבֶל מַלְאָךְ אֶל אֵלִיָּהוּ לֵאמֹר: כֹּה יַעֲשׂוּן אֱלֹהִים וְכֹה יוֹסִפוּן כִּי כָעֵת מָחָר אָשִׂים אֶת נַפְשְׁךָ כְּנֶפֶשׁ אַחַד מֵהֶם. ג וַיַּרְא וַיָּקָם וַיֵּלֶךְ אֶל נַפְשׁוֹ וַיָּבֹא בְּאֵר שֶׁבַע אֲשֶׁר לִיהוּדָה; וַיַּנַּח אֶת נַעֲרוֹ שָׁם. ד וְהוּא הָלַךְ בַּמִּדְבָּר דֶּרֶךְ יוֹם וַיָּבֹא וַיֵּשֶׁב תַּחַת רֹתֶם אחת (אֶחָד); וַיִּשְׁאַל אֶת נַפְשׁוֹ לָמוּת וַיֹּאמֶר רַב עַתָּה יהוה קַח נַפְשִׁי כִּי לֹא טוֹב אָנֹכִי מֵאֲבֹתָי. ה וַיִּשְׁכַּב וַיִּישַׁן תַּחַת רֹתֶם אֶחָד; וְהִנֵּה זֶה מַלְאָךְ נֹגֵעַ בּוֹ וַיֹּאמֶר לוֹ קוּם אֱכוֹל. ו וַיַּבֵּט וְהִנֵּה מְרַאֲשֹׁתָיו עֻגַת רְצָפִים וְצַפַּחַת מָיִם; וַיֹּאכַל וַיֵּשְׁתְּ וַיָּשָׁב וַיִּשְׁכָּב. ז וַיָּשָׁב מַלְאַךְ יהוה שֵׁנִית וַיִּגַּע בּוֹ וַיֹּאמֶר קוּם אֱכֹל: כִּי רַב מִמְּךָ הַדָּרֶךְ. ח וַיָּקָם וַיֹּאכַל וַיִּשְׁתֶּה; וַיֵּלֶךְ בְּכֹחַ הָאֲכִילָה הַהִיא אַרְבָּעִים יוֹם וְאַרְבָּעִים לַיְלָה עַד הַר הָאֱלֹהִים חֹרֵב.
ט וַיָּבֹא שָׁם אֶל הַמְּעָרָה וַיָּלֶן שָׁם; וְהִנֵּה דְבַר יהוה אֵלָיו וַיֹּאמֶר לוֹ מַה לְּךָ פֹה אֵלִיָּהוּ. י וַיֹּאמֶר קַנֹּא קִנֵּאתִי לַיהוה אֱלֹהֵי צְבָאוֹת כִּי עָזְבוּ בְרִיתְךָ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת מִזְבְּחֹתֶיךָ הָרָסוּ וְאֶת נְבִיאֶיךָ הָרְגוּ בֶחָרֶב; וָאִוָּתֵר אֲנִי לְבַדִּי וַיְבַקְשׁוּ אֶת נַפְשִׁי לְקַחְתָּהּ. יא וַיֹּאמֶר צֵא וְעָמַדְתָּ בָהָר לִפְנֵי יהוה וְהִנֵּה יהוה עֹבֵר וְרוּחַ גְּדוֹלָה וְחָזָק מְפָרֵק הָרִים וּמְשַׁבֵּר סְלָעִים לִפְנֵי יהוה לֹא בָרוּחַ יהוה ; וְאַחַר הָרוּחַ רַעַשׁ לֹא בָרַעַשׁ יהוה . יב וְאַחַר הָרַעַשׁ אֵשׁ לֹא בָאֵשׁ יהוה ; וְאַחַר הָאֵשׁ קוֹל דְּמָמָה דַקָּה. יג וַיְהִי כִּשְׁמֹעַ אֵלִיָּהוּ וַיָּלֶט פָּנָיו בְּאַדַּרְתּוֹ וַיֵּצֵא וַיַּעֲמֹד פֶּתַח הַמְּעָרָה; וְהִנֵּה אֵלָיו קוֹל וַיֹּאמֶר מַה לְּךָ פֹה אֵלִיָּהוּ. יד וַיֹּאמֶר קַנֹּא קִנֵּאתִי לַיהוה אֱלֹהֵי צְבָאוֹת כִּי עָזְבוּ בְרִיתְךָ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת מִזְבְּחֹתֶיךָ הָרָסוּ וְאֶת נְבִיאֶיךָ הָרְגוּ בֶחָרֶב; וָאִוָּתֵר אֲנִי לְבַדִּי וַיְבַקְשׁוּ אֶת נַפְשִׁי לְקַחְתָּהּ. טו וַיֹּאמֶר יהוה אֵלָיו לֵךְ שׁוּב לְדַרְכְּךָ מִדְבַּרָה דַמָּשֶׂק; וּבָאתָ וּמָשַׁחְתָּ אֶת חֲזָאֵל לְמֶלֶךְ עַל אֲרָם. טז וְאֵת יֵהוּא בֶן נִמְשִׁי תִּמְשַׁח לְמֶלֶךְ עַל יִשְׂרָאֵל; וְאֶת אֱלִישָׁע בֶּן שָׁפָט מֵאָבֵל מְחוֹלָה תִּמְשַׁח לְנָבִיא תַּחְתֶּיךָ. יז וְהָיָה הַנִּמְלָט מֵחֶרֶב חֲזָאֵל יָמִית יֵהוּא; וְהַנִּמְלָט מֵחֶרֶב יֵהוּא יָמִית אֱלִישָׁע. יח וְהִשְׁאַרְתִּי בְיִשְׂרָאֵל שִׁבְעַת אֲלָפִים: כָּל הַבִּרְכַּיִם אֲשֶׁר לֹא כָרְעוּ לַבַּעַל וְכָל הַפֶּה אֲשֶׁר לֹא נָשַׁק לוֹ.
יט וַיֵּלֶךְ מִשָּׁם וַיִּמְצָא אֶת אֱלִישָׁע בֶּן שָׁפָט וְהוּא חֹרֵשׁ שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר צְמָדִים לְפָנָיו וְהוּא בִּשְׁנֵים הֶעָשָׂר; וַיַּעֲבֹר אֵלִיָּהוּ אֵלָיו וַיַּשְׁלֵךְ אַדַּרְתּוֹ אֵלָיו. כ וַיַּעֲזֹב אֶת הַבָּקָר וַיָּרָץ אַחֲרֵי אֵלִיָּהוּ וַיֹּאמֶר אֶשְּׁקָה נָּא לְאָבִי וּלְאִמִּי וְאֵלְכָה אַחֲרֶיךָ; וַיֹּאמֶר לוֹ לֵךְ שׁוּב כִּי מֶה עָשִׂיתִי לָךְ. כא וַיָּשָׁב מֵאַחֲרָיו וַיִּקַּח אֶת צֶמֶד הַבָּקָר וַיִּזְבָּחֵהוּ וּבִכְלִי הַבָּקָר בִּשְּׁלָם הַבָּשָׂר וַיִּתֵּן לָעָם וַיֹּאכֵלוּ; וַיָּקָם וַיֵּלֶךְ אַחֲרֵי אֵלִיָּהוּ וַיְשָׁרְתֵהוּ.

Ma’asei HaShlikhim Chapter 2
1 And when the days of Shavu'ot were counted, while they were assembled together, 2 suddenly there came a sound from Heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared to them tongues which were divided like flames of fire, and they rested upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with The Ru'akh HaKodesh, and they began to speak in various languages, according to whatever HaRu'akh gave them to speak.
5 Now there dwelt at Yerushalayim devout men and Yehudim from every nation under heaven. 6 And as the sound took place, all the people gathered together, and they were confused because every man heard them speak in his own language. 7 And they were all amazed, and marveled, saying one to another, “Behold, are not all these who speak from the Galil? 8 How is it that we hear every man in our own native language? 9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and those who dwell in Mesopotamia, Yehudim, and Cappadocians, and those from Pontos, and Asia Minor, 10 and those from the region of Phrygia, and of Pamphylia, and of Mitzrayim, and of the regions of Lybia near Cyrene, and those who have come from Rome, both Yehudim and proselytes, 11 and those from Crete, and Arabians, behold, we hear them speak in our own languages of the wonderful works of Elohim.” 12 And they were all amazed and stunned, saying one to another, “What is happening?” 13 Others who were mocking said, “These men are full of choice wine and are drunk.”
14 And afterwards Shimon Kefa stood up together with the eleven Talmidim, and lifted up his voice and said to them, “Men, Yehudim, and all that dwell at Yerushalayim, let this be known to you, and hearken to my words; 15 for these men are not drunk as you suppose, for behold, it is but the third hour of the day. 16 But this is that which was spoken by Yo'el HaNavi: 17 “It shall come to pass in the last days, says Elohim, that I will pour out my Ru'akh upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; 18 and upon my menservants and upon my maidservants will I pour out my Ru'akh in those days; and they shall prophesy; 19 and I will show wonders in the heavens and signs on the earth: blood and fire and vapor of smoke: 20 the sun shall be changed into darkness and the moon into blood, before that great and fearful day of יהוה shall come. 21 And it shall come to pass that whoever shall call on the Name of יהוה shall be saved.'

מעשי השליחים פרק ב
א וְכַאֲשֶׁר מָלְאוּ יְמֵי הַשָּׁבוּעוֹת, בִּהְיוֹתָם מְכֻנָּסִים כֻּלָּם יַחַד, ב הָיָה פִּתְאֹם קוֹל מִן הַשָּׁמַיִם כְּמוֹ שֶׁל רוּחַ עַזָּה, וְהִתְמַלֵּא מִמֶּנּוּ כָּל הַבַּיִת שֶׁיָּשְׁבוּ בּוֹ. ג וְנִרְאוּ אֲלֵיהֶם לְשׁוֹנוֹת שֶׁנִּתְפַּצְּלוּ כְּמוֹ אֵשׁ, וְנָחוּ עַל אֶחָד אֶחָד מֵהֶם. ד וְנִתְמַלְּאוּ כֻּלָּם בְּרוּחַ הַקֹּדֶשׁ וְהֵחֵלּוּ לְּדַבֵּר בִּלְשׁוֹנוֹת לְמִינֵיהֶן, לְפִי מַה שֶּׁהָרוּחַ נָתְנָה לָהֶם לְדַבֵּר.
ה וְהָיוּ אֲנָשִׁים שֶׁגָּרוּ בִּירוּשָׁלַיִם, יִרְאֵי אֱלֹהִים, יְהוּדִים מִכָּל הַגּוֹיִים אֲשֶׁר תַּחַת הַשָּׁמַיִם. ו וְכַאֲשֶׁר הָיָה הַקּוֹל הַהוּא, הִתְאַסֵּף כָּל הָעָם וְנָבוֹךְ, כִּי אִישׁ אִישׁ מֵהֶם שָׁמַע אוֹתָם מְדַבְּרִים בִּלְשׁוֹנוֹתֵיהֶם. ז וְהִשְׁתּוֹמְמוּ כֻּלָּם וְהִתְפַּלְּאוּ בְּאָמְרָם זֶה לָזֶה: כָּל אֵלֶּה שֶׁמְּדַבְּרִים, הַאֵינָם גְּלִילִיִּים? ח כֵּיצַד אֲנַחְנוּ שׁוֹמְעִים אִישׁ אִישׁ אֶת הַלָּשׁוֹן אַשֶׁר נוֹלַדְנוּ בָּהּ? ט פַּרְתִּים וּמָדִים, וְעֵילָמִים וְתוֹשָׁבֵי אֲרַם נַהֲרַיִם, יְהוּדִים וְקַפּוֹדְקָאִים, וַאֲשֶׁר מֵחֶבֶל פּוֹנְטוֹס וְאַסְיָה, י וּמֵחֶבֶל פְרוּגְיָה וּפַמְפּוּלְיָה וּמִצְרַיִם וּמֵחַבְלֵי לוּב הַקְּרוֹבִים לְקוּרִינְיָה, וְאֵלֶּה שֶׁבָּאוּ מֵרוֹמָא, יְהוּדִים וְגֵרִים, יא וּמִכְּרֵתִים וְעַרְבִים, הִנֵּה שׁוֹמְעִים אָנוּ שֶׁמְּסַפְּרִים בִּלְשׁוֹנוֹתֵינוּ שֶׁלָּנוּ אֶת נִפְלְאוֹת הָאֱלֹהִים. יב וְהִתְפַּלְּאוּ כֻּלָּם וְהִשְׁתּוֹמְמוּ, וְאָמְרוּ זֶה לָזֶה: מָה הַדָּבָר הַזֶּה? יג אֲבָל אֲחֵרִים לָעֲגוּ לָהֶם בְּאָמְרָם: אֵלֶּה שָׁתוּ תִּירוֹשׁ והִשְׁתַּכְּרוּ.
יד וְאַחֲרֵי כֵן קָם שִׁמְעוֹן כֵּיפָא עִם אַחַד עָשָׂר הַשְּׁלִיחִים, וְנָשָׂא אֶת קוֹלוֹ וְאָמַר לָהֶם: אֲנָשִׁים יְהוּדִים וְכָל אֲשֶׁר גָּרִים בִּירוּשָׁלַיִם, תִּוָּדַע זֹאת לָכֶם וְהַקְשִׁיבוּ לִדְבָרַי; טו כִּי אֵלֶּה אֵינָם שִׁכּוֹרִים כְּפִי שֶׁאַתֶּם חוֹשְׁבִים, שֶׁהֲרֵי עֲדַיִן הַשָּׁעָה הַשְּׁלִישִׁית, טז אֶלָּא שֶׁזֶּה מַה שֶּׁאָמוּר בְּיוֹאֵל הַנָּבִיא: יז וְהָיָה בְּאַחֲרִית הַיָּמִים, נְאֻם אֱלֹהִים, אֶשְׁפֹּךְ אֶת רוּחִי עַל כָּל בָּשָׂר וְנִבְּאוּ בְּנֵיכֶם וּבְנֹתֵיכֶם; וּבַחוּרֵיכֶם חֶזְיוֹנוֹת יִרְאוּ, וְזִקְנֵיכֶם חֲלוֹמוֹת יַחֲלוֹמוּן. יח וְעַל עֲבָדַי וְעַל שִׁפְחוֹתַי אֶשְׁפֹּךְ רוּחִי בַּיָּמִים הָהֵם וְנִבְּאוּ. יט וְנָתַתִּי אוֹתוֹת בַּשָּׁמַיִם וְנִפְלָאוֹת עַל הָאָרֶץ, דָּם וָאֵשׁ וְתִמְרוֹת עָשָׁן; כ הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ תֵּהָפֵךְ לְחֹשֶׁךְ וְהַיָּרֵחַ לְדָם לִפְנֵי בּוֹא יוֹם יהוה הַגָּדוֹל וְהַנּוֹרָא. כא וְהָיָה כָּל אֲשֶׁר יִקְרָא אֶת שֵׁם יהוה יִוָּשַׁע.

Yokhanan Markos Chapter 12
1 And He began to speak to them in mishlim. “A man planted a vineyard and fenced it all around, and he dug in it a wine press, and built a tower in it, and then he leased it to laborers and went on a journey. 2 And in due season he sent his servant to the laborers to receive some of the fruits of the vineyard. 3 But they beat him and sent him away empty. 4 And again when he sent to them another servant, they stoned him also and wounded him and sent him away in disgrace. 5 And again he sent another, but they killed him; and he sent many other servants, some of them they beat and some they killed. 6 But finally, he had a very beloved son, and he sent him to them last of all, for he said, ‘They might feel ashamed before my son.' 7 But the laborers said among themselves, ‘This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.' 8 And they took and killed him, and threw him outside of the vineyard. 9 What then will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy those laborers, and give the vineyard to others. 10 Have you not read this scripture: ‘The stone which the builders rejected, the same became the cornerstone? 11 This was from יהוה , and it is a wonder in our eyes'.” 12 They wanted to seize Him, but they were afraid of the people; for they knew that He spoke this mashal against them; and they left Him and went away.
13 And they sent to Him some men of the Sofrim and of the Herodians, that they might trap Him in speech. 14 They came and asked Him, “Teacher, we know that you are true and you do not favor any man; for you are impartial, and you teach the way of Elohim in truth. Does Torah permit to give head tax to Caesar or not? 15 Shall we give or shall we not give?” But He knew their scheme, and said to them, “Why do you test me? Bring me a denarius, that I may see it.” 16 And they brought it to Him. He said to them, “Whose is this image and inscription?” They said, “Caesar’s.” 17 Yeshua said to them, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to Elohim what is Elohim’s.” And they were amazed at Him.
18 Then the Tzedokim came to Him, those who say there is no resurrection; and they asked Him, saying, 19 “Teacher, Moshe wrote to us that if a man’s brother dies and leaves a wife and leaves no children, his brother should take his wife and raise up offspring for his brother. 20 Now there were seven brothers; the first one took a wife and died, and left no offspring. 21 Then the second married her, and he died; he also left no offspring; and likewise the third one. 22 So all seven of them married her, and left no offspring. And after them all, the woman also died. 23 Therefore at the resurrection, whose wife will she be? For all seven had married her.” 24 Yeshua said to them, “Is it not that you err because you do not understand the scriptures nor the power of Elohim? 25 For when they rise from the dead, men neither marry women, nor are women given in marriage to men; but they are like the Malakhim in heaven. 26 Now concerning the rising of the dead, have you not read in the book of Moshe, how Elohim said to him from the bush, ‘I am the Elohim of Avraham, the Elohim of Yitz'khak, and the Elohim of Ya'akov?' 27 And yet He is not the Elohim of the dead, but of the living. You therefore greatly err.”
28 And one of the Sofrim came near and heard them debating, and he saw that He gave them a good answer. So he asked Him, “Which is the first mitzvah of all?” 29 Yeshua said to him, “The first of all the mitzvot is,

‘Shema, Yisra'el, יהוה Eloheinu, יהוה Ekhad! [Hear O Yisra'el, יהוה is our Elohim, יהוה is One]. 30 And you must love יהוה your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your might;' this is the first mitzvah. 31 And the second is like unto it, ‘You must love your neighbor as your own nefesh.' There is no other mitzvah greater than these two.”

32 The Sofer said to Him, “Well said, Rabbi, you have said the truth, that He is One, and there is no other besides Him; 33 and that a man should love Him with all the heart and with all the mind and with all the soul and with all the might, and love his neighbor as his own nefesh; this is far more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.” 34 When Yeshua saw that he replied wisely, He answered, saying to him, “You are not far from Malkhut HaElohim.” And no man dared again to question Him.
35 And Yeshua answered, saying as He taught in the Heikhal, “How do the Sofrim say that Mashi'akh is Ben David? 36 For David himself said through The Ru'akh HaKodesh, ' יהוה said to My Adon, ‘Sit on my right hand until I put your enemies as a stool under your feet'.' 37 Now therefore David himself calls him My Adon, and how can He be his son?” And all the people heard Him with pleasure.

א וְהֵחֵל לְדַבֵּר אֲלֵיהֶם בִּמְשָׁלִים: אִישׁ אֶחָד נָטַע כֶּרֶם וְהִקִּיפוֹ גָּדֵר, וְחָפַר בּוֹ יֶקֶב וּבָנָה בּוֹ מִגְדָּל, וְהֶחְכִּירוֹ לְכוֹרְמִים וְנָסַע. ב וְשָׁלַח בְּבוֹא הָעֵת אֶת עַבְדּוֹ אֶל הַכּוֹרְמִים לָקַחַת מִפְּרִי הַכֶּרֶם. ג אַךְ הֵם הִכּוּהוּ וְשְׁלָחוּהוּ רֵיקָם. ד וְהוֹסִיף וְשָׁלַח אֲלֵיהֶם עֶבֶד אַחֵר, וְאַף אוֹתוֹ רָגְמוּ וּפָצְעוּ, וּשְׁלָחוּהוּ בְּבִזָּיוֹן. ה וְשָׁלַח שׁוּב אַחֵר, וְאַף אוֹתוֹ הָרְגוּ. וַעֲבָדִים רַבִּים אֲחֵרִים שָׁלַח, וּמֵהֶם הִכּוּ וְמֵהֶם הָרְגוּ. ו לְבַסּוֹף, בֵּן אֶחָד אָהוּב הָיָה לוֹ, וּשְׁלָחוֹ אֲלֵיהֶם בָּאַחֲרוֹנָה, כִּי אָמַר, אוּלַי יֵבוֹשׁוּ מִבְּנִי. ז אֲבָל הֵם הַכּוֹרְמִים אָמְרוּ בְּלִבָּם: זֶהוּ הַיּוֹרֵשׁ; בּוֹאוּ נַהַרְגֵהוּ וְתִהְיֶה לָנוּ הַיְרֻשָּׁה. ח וְלָקְחוּ וַהֲרָגוּהוּ, וְהוֹצִיאוּהוּ אֶל מִחוּץ לַכֶּרֶם. ט מָה אֵפוֹא יַעֲשֶׂה בַּעַל הַכֶּרֶם? יָבוֹא וְיַשְׁמִיד אֶת הַכּוֹרְמִים הָהֵם, וְיִתֵּן אֶת הַכֶּרֶם לַאֲחֵרִים. י וְאַף אֶת הַכָּתוּב הַזֶּה לֹא קְרָאתֶם, אֶבֶן מָאֲסוּ הַבּוֹנִים הָיְתָה לְרֹאשׁ פִּנָּה; יא מֵאֵת יהוה הָיְתָה זֹאת, הִיא נִפְלָאת בְּעֵינֵינוּ? יב וּבִקְּשׁוּ לְתָפְסוֹ, אַךְ פָּחֲדוּ מִן הָעָם, כִּי יָדְעוּ שֶׁעֲלֵיהֶם אָמַר אֶת הַמָּשָׁל הַזֶּה. וַעֲזָבוּהוּ וְהָלְכוּ.
יג וְשָׁלְחוּ אֵלָיו אֲנָשִׁים מִן הַסּוֹפְרִים וּמֵאַנְשֵׁי הוֹרְדוֹס לְלָכְדוֹ בְּמִלָּה; יד וְהֵם בָּאוּ וּשְׁאָלוּהוּ: מוֹרֶה, יוֹדְעִים אָנוּ שֶׁמְּהֵימָן אַתָּה וְאֵינְךָ חוֹשֵׁשׁ מֵאִישׁ, כִּי אֵינְךָ נוֹשֵׂא פָּנִים לִבְנֵי אָדָם, אֶלָּא בֶּאֱמֶת מְלַמֵּד אַתָּה אֶת דֶּרֶךְ אֱלֹהִים. הַאִם מֻתָּר לָתֵת מַס גֻּלְגֹּלֶת לַקֵּיסָר אוֹ לֹא? נִתֵּן אוֹ לֹא נִתֵּן? טו אַךְ הוּא יָדַע אֶת עָרְמָתָם וְאָמַר לָהֶם: מַדּוּעַ אַתֶּם מְנַסִּים אוֹתִי? הָבִיאוּ לִי דִּינָר וְאֶרְאֶה. טז וְהֵבִיאוּ לוֹ. אָמַר לָהֶם: שֶׁל מִי הַצֶּלֶם הַזֶּה, וְהַכְּתֹבֶת? וְהֵם אָמְרוּ: שֶׁל הַקֵּיסָר. יז אָמַר לָהֶם יֵשׁוּעַ: אֶת אֲשֶׁר לַקֵּיסָר תְּנוּ לַקֵּיסָר, וְאֶת אֲשֶׁר לֵאלֹהִים לֵאלֹהִים. וְתָמְהוּ עָלָיו.
יח וּבָאוּ אֵלָיו צְדוֹקִים, הָאוֹמְרִים שֶׁאֵין תְּקוּמָה, וְשָׁאֲלוּ אוֹתוֹ וְאָמְרוּ: יט מוֹרֶה, מֹשֶׁה כָּתַב לָנוּ, שֶׁאִם יָמוּת אֲחִי אִישׁ וְהִנִּיחַ אִשָּׁה וְלֹא הִנִּיחַ בָּנִים, יִקַּח אָחִיו אֶת אִשְׁתּוֹ וְיָקִים זֶרַע לְאָחִיו. כ שִׁבְעָה אַחִים הָיוּ; הָרִאשׁוֹן לָקַח אִשָּׁה וּמֵת וְלֹא הִשְׁאִיר זֶרַע. כא וְהַשֵּׁנִי לָקַח אוֹתָהּ וּמֵת וְגַם הוּא לֹא הִשְׁאִיר זֶרַע; וְכֵן הַשְּׁלִישִׁי. כב וְשִׁבְעָתָם לָקְחוּ אוֹתָהּ וְלֹא הִשְׁאִירוּ זֶרַע. אַחֲרֵי כֻּלָּם מֵתָה גַּם הָאִשָּׁה. כג וּבְכֵן, בַּתְּקוּמָה, לְמִי מֵהֶם תִּהְיֶה לְאִשָּׁה? שֶׁהֲרֵי שִׁבְעָתָם לָקְחוּ אוֹתָהּ. כד אָמַר לָהֶם יֵשׁוּעַ: הַאִם לֹא מִשּׁוּם כָּךְ טוֹעִים אַתֶּם, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁאֵינְכֶם יוֹדְעִים אֶת הַכְּתוּבִים וְלֹא אֶת גְּבוּרַת הָאֱלֹהִים? כה כִּי אַחֲרֵי קוּמָם מִן הַמֵּתִים אֵין הֵם נוֹשְׂאִים נָשִׁים, גַּם אֵין הַנָּשִׁים נִשָּׂאוֹת לַגְּבָרִים, אֶלָּא כַּמַּלְאָכִים שֶׁבַּשָּׁמַיִם הֵם. כו וְעַל הַמֵּתִים שֶׁקָּמִים, לֹא קְרָאתֶם בְּסֵפֶר מֹשֶׁה, אֵיךְ אָמַר לוֹ הָאֱלֹהִים מִן הַסְּנֶה: 'אָנֹכִי אֱלֹהֵי אַבְרָהָם וֵאלֹהֵי יִצְחָק וֵאלֹהֵי יַעֲקֹב'? כז וְאֵין הוּא אֱלֹהֵי הַמֵּתִים אֶלָּא הַחַיִּים. לָכֵן טוֹעִים אַתֶּם מְאֹד.
כח וְנִגַּשׁ אֶחָד מִן הַסּוֹפְרִים וְשָׁמַע אוֹתָם מִתְוַכְּחִים. וְרָאָה כִּי הֵיטֵב הֵשִׁיב לָהֶם תְּשׁוּבָה, וְשָׁאַל אוֹתוֹ: אֵיזוֹהִי הַמִּצְוָה הָרִאשׁוֹנָה מִכֻּלָּן? כט אָמַר לוֹ יֵשׁוּעַ: הָרִאשׁוֹנָה מִכָּל הַמִּצְווֹת:


'שְׁמַע יִשְׂרָאֵל יהוה אֱלֹהֵינוּ יהוה אֶחָד ; ל וְאָהַבְתָּ אֶת יהוה אֱלֹהֶיךָ בְּכָל לְבָבְךָ וּבְכָל נַפְשְׁךָ וּבְכָל שִׂכְלְךָ וּבְכָל מְאֹדֶךָ.' זֹאת הִיא הַמִּצְוָה הָרִאשׁוֹנָה. לא וְהַשְּׁנִיָּה, הַדּוֹמָה לָהּ: 'וְאָהַבְתָּ לְרֵעֲךָ כָּמוֹךָ.' מִצְוָה אַחֶרֶת גְּדוֹלָה מֵאֵלֶּה, אַיִן.

לב אָמַר לוֹ הַסּוֹפֵר: יָפֶה, רַבִּי. אֱמֶת אָמַרְתָּ, שֶׁאֶחָד הוּא וְאֵין אַחֵר מִלְּבַדּוֹ; לג וְשֶׁיֹּאהֲבֵהוּ אָדָם בְּכָל הַלֵּב וּבְכָל הַשֵּׂכֶל וּבְכָל הַנֶּפֶשׁ וּבְכָל מְאֹדוֹ, וְשֶׁיֹּאהַב אֶת רֵעֵהוּ כָּמוֹהוּ, חָשׁוּב יוֹתֵר מִכָּל הָעוֹלוֹת וְהַזְּבָחִים. לד יֵשׁוּעַ רָאָה שֶׁבְּחָכְמָה הֵשִׁיב תְּשׁוּבָה, וְעָנָה וְאָמַר לוֹ: אֵינְךָ רָחוֹק מִמַּלְכוּת הָאֱלֹהִים. וְלֹא הֵעֵז אִישׁ שׁוּב לִשְׁאֹל אוֹתוֹ.
לה וְעָנָה יֵשׁוּעַ וְאָמַר כַּאֲשֶׁר לִמֵּד בַּהֵיכָל: אֵיךְ אוֹמְרִים הַסּוֹפְרִים שֶׁהַמָּשִׁיחַ הוּא בֶּן דָּוִד? לו שֶׁהֲרֵי הוּא דָּוִד אָמַר בְּרוּחַ הַקֹּדֶשׁ, נְאֻם יהוה לַאדוֹנִי: שֵׁב לִימִינִי עַד אָשִׁית אוֹיְבֶיךָ הֲדוֹם תַּחַת רַגְלֶיךָ. לז לְפִיכָךְ הוּא דָּוִד קוֹרֵא לוֹ אָדוֹנִי, וְאֵיךְ הוּא בְּנוֹ? וְכָל הֶהָמוֹן שָׁמַע אוֹתוֹ בַּהֲנָאָה.
