D'varim Chapter 1
1 These are The Words which Moshe spoke unto all Yisra'el beyond the Yarden; in the wilderness, in the Aravah, over against Suf, between Paran and Tofel, and Lavan, and Khatzerot, and Di Zahav. 2 It is eleven days journey from Khorev unto Kadesh Barne'ah by the way of Har Se'ir. 3 And it came to pass in the fortieth year, in the eleventh khodesh, on the first day of the khodesh, that Moshe spoke unto B'nei Yisra'el, according unto all that יהוה had commanded them; 4 after he had smitten Sikhon the king of the Amori, who dwelt in Kheshbon, and Og the king of Bashan, who dwelt in Ashtarot, at Edrei; 5 beyond the Yarden, in the land of Mo'av, Moshe took upon him to expound this Torah, saying: 6 " יהוה our Elohim spoke unto us in Khorev, saying, 'You have dwelt long enough in this mountain; 7 turn, and take your journey, and go to the hill country of the Amori and unto all the places near there, in the Aravah, in the hill country, and in the Lowland, and in the South, and by the sea shore; the land of the Kena'ani, and Levanon, as far as the great river, the river Perat. 8 Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which יהוה swore unto your fathers, to Avraham, to Yitz'khak, and to Ya'akov, to give unto them and to their seed after them.' 9 And I spoke unto you at that time, saying, 'I am not able to bear you myself alone; 10 יהוה your Elohim has multiplied you, and, behold, you are this day as the stars of heaven for a multitude. 11 May יהוה , the Elohim of your fathers, make you a thousand times so many more as you are, and bless you, as He has promised you! 12 How can I myself alone bear your weight, and your burden, and your strife? 13 Get from each one of your tribes wise and understanding men, and full of knowledge, and I will make them heads over you.' 14 And you answered me, and said, 'The thing which you have spoken is good for us to do.' 15 So I took the heads of your tribes, wise men, and full of knowledge, and made them heads over you, captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds, and captains of fifties, and captains of tens, and officers, tribe by tribe. 16 And I charged your Shoftim at that time, saying, 'Hear the causes between your brethren, and judge righteously between a man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him. 17 You shall not respect persons in judgment; you shall hear the small and the great alike; you shall not be afraid of the face of any man; for the judgment is from Elohim; and the cause that is too hard for you, you shall bring unto me, and I will hear it.' 18 And I commanded you at that time all the things which you should do. 19 And we journeyed from Khorev, and went through all that great and dreadful wilderness which you saw, by the way to the hill country of the Amori, as יהוה our Elohim commanded us; and we came to Kadesh Barne'ah. 20 And I said unto you, 'You are come unto the hill country of the Amori, which יהוה our Elohim gives unto us. 21 Behold, יהוה your Elohim has set the land before you; go up, take possession, as יהוה , the Elohim of your fathers, has spoken unto you; fear not, neither be dismayed.' 22 And you came near unto me every one of you, and said, 'Let us send men before us, that they may search the land for us, and bring us back word of the way by which we must go up, and the cities unto which we shall come.' 23 And the thing pleased me well; and I took twelve men of you, one man for every tribe; 24 and they turned and went up into the mountains, and came unto the valley of Eshkol, and spied it out. 25 And they took of the fruit of the land in their hands, and brought it down unto us, and brought us back word, and said, 'The land which יהוה our Elohim gives unto us is good .'
26 Yet you would not go up, but rebelled against the direction of יהוה your Elohim; 27 and you murmured in your tents, and said, 'Because יהוה hated us, He has brought us forth out of the land of Mitzrayim, to deliver us into the hand of the Amori, to destroy us. 28 To where are we going up? Our brethren have made our heart to melt, saying, 'The people is greater and taller than we; the cities are great and fortified up to heaven; and moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakim there.'' 29 Then I said unto you, 'Dread not, neither be afraid of them. 30 יהוה your Elohim who goes before you, He shall fight for you, according to all that He did for you in Mitzrayim before your eyes; 31 and in the wilderness, where you have seen how that יהוה your Elohim bore you, as a man does bear his son, in all the way that you went, until you came unto this place.' 32 Yet in this thing you do not believe יהוה your Elohim, 33 who went before you in the way, to seek you out a place to pitch your tents in: in fire by night, to show you by what way you should go, and in the cloud by day.' 34 And יהוה heard the voice of your words, and was wroth, and swore, saying, 35 'Surely there shall not one of these men, even this evil generation, see the good land which I swore to give unto your fathers, 36 save Kalev Ben Yefuneh, he shall see it; and to him will I give the land that he has trodden upon, and to his children; because he has wholly followed יהוה . Also 37 יהוה was angry with me for your sakes, saying, 'You also shall not go in there; 38 Yehoshua Bin Nun, who stands before you, he shall go in there; encourage him, for he shall cause Yisra'el to inherit it.' 39 Moreover your little ones, that you said should be a prey, and your children, that this day have no knowledge of good or evil, they shall go in there, and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess it. 40 But as for you, turn and take your journey into the wilderness by the way to Yam Suf.' 41 Then you answered and said unto me, 'We have sinned against יהוה , we will go up and fight, according to all that יהוה our Elohim commanded us.' And you girded on every man his weapons of war, and deemed it a light thing to go up into the hill country. 42 And יהוה said unto me, 'Say unto them, 'Go not up, neither fight; for I am not among you; lest you be smitten before your enemies'.' 43 So I spoke unto you, and you hearkened not; but you rebelled against the direction of יהוה , and were presumptuous, and went up into the hill country. 44 And the Amori, that dwells in that hill country, came out against you, and chased you as bees do, and beat you down in Se'ir, even unto Khormah. 45 And you returned and wept before יהוה ; but יהוה hearkened not to your voice, nor gave ear unto you. 46 So you abode in Kadesh many days, according unto the days that you abode there."

א אֵלֶּה הַדְּבָרִים אֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר מֹשֶׁה אֶל כָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּעֵבֶר הַיַּרְדֵּן בַּמִּדְבָּר בָּעֲרָבָה מוֹל סוּף בֵּין פָּארָן וּבֵין תֹּפֶל וְלָבָן וַחֲצֵרֹת וְדִי זָהָב. ב אַחַד עָשָׂר יוֹם מֵחֹרֵב דֶּרֶךְ הַר שֵׂעִיר עַד קָדֵשׁ בַּרְנֵעַ. ג וַיְהִי בְּאַרְבָּעִים שָׁנָה בְּעַשְׁתֵּי עָשָׂר חֹדֶשׁ בְּאֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ דִּבֶּר מֹשֶׁה אֶל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה אֹתוֹ אֲלֵהֶם. ד אַחֲרֵי הַכֹּתוֹ אֵת סִיחֹן מֶלֶךְ הָאֱמֹרִי אֲשֶׁר יוֹשֵׁב בְּחֶשְׁבּוֹן וְאֵת עוֹג מֶלֶךְ הַבָּשָׁן אֲשֶׁר יוֹשֵׁב בְּעַשְׁתָּרֹת בְּאֶדְרֶעִי. ה בְּעֵבֶר הַיַּרְדֵּן בְּאֶרֶץ מוֹאָב הוֹאִיל מֹשֶׁה בֵּאֵר אֶת הַתּוֹרָה הַזֹּאת לֵאמֹר. ו יהוה אֱלֹהֵינוּ דִּבֶּר אֵלֵינוּ בְּחֹרֵב לֵאמֹר רַב לָכֶם שֶׁבֶת בָּהָר הַזֶּה. ז פְּנוּ וּסְעוּ לָכֶם וּבֹאוּ הַר הָאֱמֹרִי וְאֶל כָּל שְׁכֵנָיו בָּעֲרָבָה בָהָר וּבַשְּׁפֵלָה וּבַנֶּגֶב וּבְחוֹף הַיָּם אֶרֶץ הַכְּנַעֲנִי וְהַלְּבָנוֹן עַד הַנָּהָר הַגָּדֹל נְהַר פְּרָת. ח רְאֵה נָתַתִּי לִפְנֵיכֶם אֶת הָאָרֶץ בֹּאוּ וּרְשׁוּ אֶת הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר נִשְׁבַּע יהוה לַאֲבֹתֵיכֶם לְאַבְרָהָם לְיִצְחָק וּלְיַעֲקֹב לָתֵת לָהֶם וּלְזַרְעָם אַחֲרֵיהֶם. ט וָאֹמַר אֲלֵכֶם בָּעֵת הַהִוא לֵאמֹר לֹא אוּכַל לְבַדִּי שְׂאֵת אֶתְכֶם. י יהוה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם הִרְבָּה אֶתְכֶם וְהִנְּכֶם הַיּוֹם כְּכוֹכְבֵי הַשָּׁמַיִם לָרֹב. יא יהוה אֱלֹהֵי אֲבוֹתֵכֶם יֹסֵף עֲלֵיכֶם כָּכֶם אֶלֶף פְּעָמִים וִיבָרֵךְ אֶתְכֶם כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר לָכֶם. יב אֵיכָה אֶשָּׂא לְבַדִּי טָרְחֲכֶם וּמַשַּׂאֲכֶם וְרִיבְכֶם. יג הָבוּ לָכֶם אֲנָשִׁים חֲכָמִים וּנְבֹנִים וִידֻעִים לְשִׁבְטֵיכֶם וַאֲשִׂימֵם בְּרָאשֵׁיכֶם. יד וַתַּעֲנוּ אֹתִי וַתֹּאמְרוּ טוֹב הַדָּבָר אֲשֶׁר דִּבַּרְתָּ לַעֲשׂוֹת. טו וָאֶקַּח אֶת רָאשֵׁי שִׁבְטֵיכֶם אֲנָשִׁים חֲכָמִים וִידֻעִים וָאֶתֵּן אוֹתָם רָאשִׁים עֲלֵיכֶם שָׂרֵי אֲלָפִים וְשָׂרֵי מֵאוֹת וְשָׂרֵי חֲמִשִּׁים וְשָׂרֵי עֲשָׂרֹת וְשֹׁטְרִים לְשִׁבְטֵיכֶם. טז וָאֲצַוֶּה אֶת שֹׁפְטֵיכֶם בָּעֵת הַהִוא לֵאמֹר שָׁמֹעַ בֵּין אֲחֵיכֶם וּשְׁפַטְתֶּם צֶדֶק בֵּין אִישׁ וּבֵין אָחִיו וּבֵין גֵּרוֹ. יז לֹא תַכִּירוּ פָנִים בַּמִּשְׁפָּט כַּקָּטֹן כַּגָּדֹל תִּשְׁמָעוּן לֹא תָגוּרוּ מִפְּנֵי אִישׁ כִּי הַמִּשְׁפָּט לֵאלֹהִים הוּא וְהַדָּבָר אֲשֶׁר יִקְשֶׁה מִכֶּם תַּקְרִבוּן אֵלַי וּשְׁמַעְתִּיו. יח וָאֲצַוֶּה אֶתְכֶם בָּעֵת הַהִוא אֵת כָּל הַדְּבָרִים אֲשֶׁר תַּעֲשׂוּן. יט וַנִּסַּע מֵחֹרֵב וַנֵּלֶךְ אֵת כָּל הַמִּדְבָּר הַגָּדוֹל וְהַנּוֹרָא הַהוּא אֲשֶׁר רְאִיתֶם דֶּרֶךְ הַר הָאֱמֹרִי כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה אֱלֹהֵינוּ אֹתָנוּ וַנָּבֹא עַד קָדֵשׁ בַּרְנֵעַ. כ וָאֹמַר אֲלֵכֶם בָּאתֶם עַד הַר הָאֱמֹרִי אֲשֶׁר יהוה אֱלֹהֵינוּ נֹתֵן לָנוּ. כא רְאֵה נָתַן יהוה אֱלֹהֶיךָ לְפָנֶיךָ אֶת הָאָרֶץ עֲלֵה רֵשׁ כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר יהוה אֱלֹהֵי אֲבֹתֶיךָ לָךְ אַל תִּירָא וְאַל תֵּחָת. כב וַתִּקְרְבוּן אֵלַי כֻּלְּכֶם וַתֹּאמְרוּ נִשְׁלְחָה אֲנָשִׁים לְפָנֵינוּ וְיַחְפְּרוּ לָנוּ אֶת הָאָרֶץ וְיָשִׁבוּ אֹתָנוּ דָּבָר אֶת הַדֶּרֶךְ אֲשֶׁר נַעֲלֶה בָּהּ וְאֵת הֶעָרִים אֲשֶׁר נָבֹא אֲלֵיהֶן. כג וַיִּיטַב בְּעֵינַי הַדָּבָר וָאֶקַּח מִכֶּם שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר אֲנָשִׁים אִישׁ אֶחָד לַשָּׁבֶט. כד וַיִּפְנוּ וַיַּעֲלוּ הָהָרָה וַיָּבֹאוּ עַד נַחַל אֶשְׁכֹּל וַיְרַגְּלוּ אֹתָהּ. כה וַיִּקְחוּ בְיָדָם מִפְּרִי הָאָרֶץ וַיּוֹרִדוּ אֵלֵינוּ וַיָּשִׁבוּ אֹתָנוּ דָבָר וַיֹּאמְרוּ טוֹבָה הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר יהוה אֱלֹהֵינוּ נֹתֵן לָנוּ.
כו וְלֹא אֲבִיתֶם לַעֲלֹת וַתַּמְרוּ אֶת פִּי יהוה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם. כזוַתֵּרָגְנוּ בְאָהֳלֵיכֶם וַתֹּאמְרוּ בְּשִׂנְאַת יהוה אֹתָנוּ הוֹצִיאָנוּ מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם לָתֵת אֹתָנוּ בְּיַד הָאֱמֹרִי לְהַשְׁמִידֵנוּ. כח אָנָה אֲנַחְנוּ עֹלִים אַחֵינוּ הֵמַסּוּ אֶת לְבָבֵנוּ לֵאמֹר עַם גָּדוֹל וָרָם מִמֶּנּוּ עָרִים גְּדֹלֹת וּבְצוּרֹת בַּשָּׁמָיִם וְגַם בְּנֵי עֲנָקִים רָאִינוּ שָׁם. כט וָאֹמַר אֲלֵכֶם לֹא תַעַרְצוּן וְלֹא תִירְאוּן מֵהֶם. ל יהוה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם הַהֹלֵךְ לִפְנֵיכֶם הוּא יִלָּחֵם לָכֶם כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה אִתְּכֶם בְּמִצְרַיִם לְעֵינֵיכֶם. לא וּבַמִּדְבָּר אֲשֶׁר רָאִיתָ אֲשֶׁר נְשָׂאֲךָ יהוה אֱלֹהֶיךָ כַּאֲשֶׁר יִשָּׂא אִישׁ אֶת בְּנוֹ בְּכָל הַדֶּרֶךְ אֲשֶׁר הֲלַכְתֶּם עַד בֹּאֲכֶם עַד הַמָּקוֹם הַזֶּה. לב וּבַדָּבָר הַזֶּה אֵינְכֶם מַאֲמִינִם בַּיהוה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם. לג הַהֹלֵךְ לִפְנֵיכֶם בַּדֶּרֶךְ לָתוּר לָכֶם מָקוֹם לַחֲנֹתְכֶם בָּאֵשׁ לַיְלָה לַרְאֹתְכֶם בַּדֶּרֶךְ אֲשֶׁר תֵּלְכוּ בָהּ וּבֶעָנָן יוֹמָם. לד וַיִּשְׁמַע יהוה אֶת קוֹל דִּבְרֵיכֶם וַיִּקְצֹף וַיִּשָּׁבַע לֵאמֹר. לה אִם יִרְאֶה אִישׁ בָּאֲנָשִׁים הָאֵלֶּה הַדּוֹר הָרָע הַזֶּה אֵת הָאָרֶץ הַטּוֹבָה אֲשֶׁר נִשְׁבַּעְתִּי לָתֵת לַאֲבֹתֵיכֶם. לו זוּלָתִי כָּלֵב בֶּן יְפֻנֶּה הוּא יִרְאֶנָּה וְלוֹ אֶתֵּן אֶת הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר דָּרַךְ בָּהּ וּלְבָנָיו יַעַן אֲשֶׁר מִלֵּא אַחֲרֵי יהוה . לז גַּם בִּי הִתְאַנַּף יהוה בִּגְלַלְכֶם לֵאמֹר גַּם אַתָּה לֹא תָבֹא שָׁם. לח יְהוֹשֻׁעַ בִּן נוּן הָעֹמֵד לְפָנֶיךָ הוּא יָבֹא שָׁמָּה אֹתוֹ חַזֵּק כִּי הוּא יַנְחִלֶנָּה אֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל. לט וְטַפְּכֶם אֲשֶׁר אֲמַרְתֶּם לָבַז יִהְיֶה וּבְנֵיכֶם אֲשֶׁר לֹא יָדְעוּ הַיּוֹם טוֹב וָרָע הֵמָּה יָבֹאוּ שָׁמָּה וְלָהֶם אֶתְּנֶנָּה וְהֵם יִירָשׁוּהָ. מ וְאַתֶּם פְּנוּ לָכֶם וּסְעוּ הַמִּדְבָּרָה דֶּרֶךְ יַם סוּף. מא וַתַּעֲנוּ וַתֹּאמְרוּ אֵלַי חָטָאנוּ לַיהוה אֲנַחְנוּ נַעֲלֶה וְנִלְחַמְנוּ כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר צִוָּנוּ יהוה אֱלֹהֵינוּ וַתַּחְגְּרוּ אִישׁ אֶת כְּלֵי מִלְחַמְתּוֹ וַתָּהִינוּ לַעֲלֹת הָהָרָה. מב וַיֹּאמֶר יהוה אֵלַי אֱמֹר לָהֶם לֹא תַעֲלוּ וְלֹא תִלָּחֲמוּ כִּי אֵינֶנִּי בְּקִרְבְּכֶם וְלֹא תִּנָּגְפוּ לִפְנֵי אֹיְבֵיכֶם. מג וָאֲדַבֵּר אֲלֵיכֶם וְלֹא שְׁמַעְתֶּם וַתַּמְרוּ אֶת פִּי יהוה וַתָּזִדוּ וַתַּעֲלוּ הָהָרָה. מד וַיֵּצֵא הָאֱמֹרִי הַיֹּשֵׁב בָּהָר הַהוּא לִקְרַאתְכֶם וַיִּרְדְּפוּ אֶתְכֶם כַּאֲשֶׁר תַּעֲשֶׂינָה הַדְּבֹרִים וַיַּכְּתוּ אֶתְכֶם בְּשֵׂעִיר עַד חָרְמָה. מה וַתָּשֻׁבוּ וַתִּבְכּוּ לִפְנֵי יהוה וְלֹא שָׁמַע יהוה בְּקֹלְכֶם וְלֹא הֶאֱזִין אֲלֵיכֶם. מו וַתֵּשְׁבוּ בְקָדֵשׁ יָמִים רַבִּים כַּיָּמִים אֲשֶׁר יְשַׁבְתֶּם.

D'varim Chapter 3
1 "Then we turned, and went up the way to Bashan; and Og the king of Bashan came out against us, he and all his people, unto battle at Edrei. 2 And יהוה said unto me, 'Fear him not; for I have delivered him, and all his people, and his land, into your hand; and you shall do unto him as you did unto Sikhon king of the Amori, who dwelt at Kheshbon.' 3 So יהוה our Elohim delivered into our hand Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people; and we smote him until none was left to him remaining. 4 And we took all his cities at that time; there was not a city which we took not from them; sixty cities, all the region of Argov, the kingdom of Og in Bashan. 5 All these were fortified cities, with high walls, gates, and bars; beside the unwalled towns a great many. 6 And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sikhon king of Kheshbon, utterly destroying every city, the men, and the women, and the little ones. 7 But all the cattle, and the spoil of the cities, we took for a prey unto ourselves. 8 And we took the land at that time out of the hand of the two kings of the Amori that were beyond the Yarden, from the valley of Arnon unto Har Khermon, 9 which Khermon the Tzidonim call Sirion, and the Amori call it Senir, 10 all the cities of the plain, and all Gilad, and all Bashan, unto Salkah and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan., 11 For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of the Refayim; behold, his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabah of the children of Amon? Nine cubits was the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man. 12 And this land we took in possession at that time; from Aro'er, which is by the valley of Arnon, and half the hill country of Gilad, and the cities thereof, gave I unto the Ruveni and to the Gadi; 13 and the rest of Gilad, and all Bashan, the kingdom of Og, gave I unto half of the tribe of Menasheh; all the region of Argov, all that Bashan is called the land of Refayim. 14 Ya'ir Ben Menasheh took all the region of Argov, unto the border of the Geshuri and the Ma'akhati, and called them, even Bashan, after his own name, Havot-Ya'ir, unto this day. 15 And I gave Gilad unto Makhir. 16 And unto the Ruveni and unto the Gadi I gave from Gilad even unto the valley of Arnon, the middle of the valley for a border; even unto the river Yabok, which is the border of the children of Amon; 17 the Aravah also, the Yarden being the border thereof, from Kineret even unto the sea of the Aravah, the Salt Sea, under the slopes of Pisgah eastward. 18 And I commanded you at that time, saying, ' יהוה your Elohim has given you this land to possess it; you shall pass over armed before your brethren B'nei Yisra'el, all the men of valor. 19 But your wives, and your little ones, and your cattle, I know that you have much cattle, shall abide in your cities which I have given you; 20 until יהוה gives rest unto your brethren, as unto you, and they also possess the land which יהוה your Elohim gives them beyond the Yarden; then shall you return every man unto his possession, which I have given you.' 21 And I commanded Yehoshua at that time, saying, 'Your eyes have seen all that יהוה your Elohim has done unto these two kings; so shall יהוה do unto all the kingdoms wherever you go over. 22 You shall not fear them; for יהוה your Elohim, He it is that fights for you'."

א וַנֵּפֶן וַנַּעַל דֶּרֶךְ הַבָּשָׁן וַיֵּצֵא עוֹג מֶלֶךְ הַבָּשָׁן לִקְרָאתֵנוּ הוּא וְכָל עַמּוֹ לַמִּלְחָמָה אֶדְרֶעִי. ב וַיֹּאמֶר יהוה אֵלַי אַל תִּירָא אֹתוֹ כִּי בְיָדְךָ נָתַתִּי אֹתוֹ וְאֶת כָּל עַמּוֹ וְאֶת אַרְצוֹ וְעָשִׂיתָ לּוֹ כַּאֲשֶׁר עָשִׂיתָ לְסִיחֹן מֶלֶךְ הָאֱמֹרִי אֲשֶׁר יוֹשֵׁב בְּחֶשְׁבּוֹן. ג וַיִּתֵּן יהוה אֱלֹהֵינוּ בְּיָדֵנוּ גַּם אֶת עוֹג מֶלֶךְ הַבָּשָׁן וְאֶת כָּל עַמּוֹ וַנַּכֵּהוּ עַד בִּלְתִּי הִשְׁאִיר לוֹ שָׂרִיד. ד וַנִּלְכֹּד אֶת כָּל עָרָיו בָּעֵת הַהִוא לֹא הָיְתָה קִרְיָה אֲשֶׁר לֹא לָקַחְנוּ מֵאִתָּם שִׁשִּׁים עִיר כָּל חֶבֶל אַרְגֹּב מַמְלֶכֶת עוֹג בַּבָּשָׁן. ה כָּל אֵלֶּה עָרִים בְּצֻרֹת חוֹמָה גְבֹהָה דְּלָתַיִם וּבְרִיחַ לְבַד מֵעָרֵי הַפְּרָזִי הַרְבֵּה מְאֹד. ו וַנַּחֲרֵם אוֹתָם כַּאֲשֶׁר עָשִׂינוּ לְסִיחֹן מֶלֶךְ חֶשְׁבּוֹן הַחֲרֵם כָּל עִיר מְתִם הַנָּשִׁים וְהַטָּף. ז וְכָל הַבְּהֵמָה וּשְׁלַל הֶעָרִים בַּזּוֹנוּ לָנוּ. ח וַנִּקַּח בָּעֵת הַהִוא אֶת הָאָרֶץ מִיַּד שְׁנֵי מַלְכֵי הָאֱמֹרִי אֲשֶׁר בְּעֵבֶר הַיַּרְדֵּן מִנַּחַל אַרְנֹן עַד הַר חֶרְמוֹן. ט צִידֹנִים יִקְרְאוּ לְחֶרְמוֹן שִׂרְיֹן וְהָאֱמֹרִי יִקְרְאוּ לוֹ שְׂנִיר. י כֹּל עָרֵי הַמִּישֹׁר וְכָל הַגִּלְעָד וְכָל הַבָּשָׁן עַד סַלְכָה וְאֶדְרֶעִי עָרֵי מַמְלֶכֶת עוֹג בַּבָּשָׁן. יא כִּי רַק עוֹג מֶלֶךְ הַבָּשָׁן נִשְׁאַר מִיֶּתֶר הָרְפָאִים הִנֵּה עַרְשׂוֹ עֶרֶשׂ בַּרְזֶל הֲלֹה הִוא בְּרַבַּת בְּנֵי עַמּוֹן תֵּשַׁע אַמּוֹת אָרְכָּהּ וְאַרְבַּע אַמּוֹת רָחְבָּהּ בְּאַמַּת אִישׁ. יב וְאֶת הָאָרֶץ הַזֹּאת יָרַשְׁנוּ בָּעֵת הַהִוא מֵעֲרֹעֵר אֲשֶׁר עַל נַחַל אַרְנֹן וַחֲצִי הַר הַגִּלְעָד וְעָרָיו נָתַתִּי לָראוּבֵנִי וְלַגָּדִי. יג וְיֶתֶר הַגִּלְעָד וְכָל הַבָּשָׁן מַמְלֶכֶת עוֹג נָתַתִּי לַחֲצִי שֵׁבֶט הַמְנַשֶּׁה כֹּל חֶבֶל הָאַרְגֹּב לְכָל הַבָּשָׁן הַהוּא יִקָּרֵא אֶרֶץ רְפָאִים. יד יָאִיר בֶּן מְנַשֶּׁה לָקַח אֶת כָּל חֶבֶל אַרְגֹּב עַד גְּבוּל הַגְּשׁוּרִי וְהַמַּעֲכָתִי וַיִּקְרָא אֹתָם עַל שְׁמוֹ אֶת הַבָּשָׁן חַוֹּת יָאִיר עַד הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה. טו וּלְמָכִיר נָתַתִּי אֶת הַגִּלְעָד. טז וְלָראוּבֵנִי וְלַגָּדִי נָתַתִּי מִן הַגִּלְעָד וְעַד נַחַל אַרְנֹן תּוֹךְ הַנַּחַל וּגְבֻל וְעַד יַבֹּק הַנַּחַל גְּבוּל בְּנֵי עַמּוֹן. יז וְהָעֲרָבָה וְהַיַּרְדֵּן וּגְבֻל מִכִּנֶּרֶת וְעַד יָם הָעֲרָבָה יָם הַמֶּלַח תַּחַת אַשְׁדֹּת הַפִּסְגָּה מִזְרָחָה. יחוָאֲצַו אֶתְכֶם בָּעֵת הַהִוא לֵאמֹר יהוה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם נָתַן לָכֶם אֶת הָאָרֶץ הַזֹּאת לְרִשְׁתָּהּ חֲלוּצִים תַּעַבְרוּ לִפְנֵי אֲחֵיכֶם בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל כָּל בְּנֵי חָיִל. יט רַק נְשֵׁיכֶם וְטַפְּכֶם וּמִקְנֵכֶם יָדַעְתִּי כִּי מִקְנֶה רַב לָכֶם יֵשְׁבוּ בְּעָרֵיכֶם אֲשֶׁר נָתַתִּי לָכֶם. כ עַד אֲשֶׁר יָנִיחַ יהוה לַאֲחֵיכֶם כָּכֶם וְיָרְשׁוּ גַם הֵם אֶת הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר יהוה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם נֹתֵן לָהֶם בְּעֵבֶר הַיַּרְדֵּן וְשַׁבְתֶּם אִישׁ לִירֻשָּׁתוֹ אֲשֶׁר נָתַתִּי לָכֶם. כא וְאֶת יְהוֹשׁוּעַ צִוֵּיתִי בָּעֵת הַהִוא לֵאמֹר עֵינֶיךָ הָרֹאֹת אֵת כָּל אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה יהוה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם לִשְׁנֵי הַמְּלָכִים הָאֵלֶּה כֵּן יַעֲשֶׂה יהוה לְכָל הַמַּמְלָכוֹת אֲשֶׁר אַתָּה עֹבֵר שָׁמָּה.

Yesha-Yahu Chapter 1
1 The vision of Yesha-Yahu Ben Amotz, which he saw concerning Yehudah and Yerushalayim, in the days of Uzi-Yahu, Yotam, Akhaz, Yekhizki-Yahu, Melakhim Yehudah. 2 "Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth, for יהוה has spoken, 'Children I have reared, and brought up, and they have rebelled against Me. 3 The ox knows his owner, and the donkey his master’s crib; but Yisra'el does not know, My people does not consider'. 4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evil-doers, children that deal corruptly; they have forsaken יהוה , they have shown contempt for the Kadosh One of Yisra'el, they are turned away backward. 5 On what part will you yet be stricken, seeing you stray away more and more? The whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint; 6 from the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and festering sores: they have not been pressed, neither bound up, neither mollified with oil. 7 Your country is desolate; your cities are burned with fire; your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by floods. 8 And Bat-Tzion is left as a sukka in a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city. 9 Except יהוה Tzeva'ot had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as S'dom, we should have been like unto Amorah."
10 "Hear the D'var יהוה , you rulers of S'dom; give ear unto the Torah of our Elohim, you people of Amorah. 11 'To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto Me', says יהוה ; 'I am full of the Olot of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he-goats. 12 When you come to appear before Me, who has required this at your hand, to trample My courts? 13 Bring no more vain oblations; it is an offering of abomination unto Me; khodesh and sabbath, the holding of convocations, I cannot endure iniquity along with the solemn assembly. 14 Your khadashim and your mo'edim My soul hates; they are a burden unto Me; I am weary to bear them. 15 And when you spread forth your hands, I will hide My eyes from you; yes, when you make many prayers, I will not hear; your hands are full of blood. 16 Wash yourself, make yourself clean, put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes; cease to do evil. 17 Learn to do well. Seek justice: relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. 18 Come now, and let us reason together', says יהוה ; 'though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. 19 If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; 20 but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured with the sword, for the mouth of יהוה has spoken'."
21 "How is the faithful city become a harlot! She that was full of justice, tzedaka lodged in her, but now murderers. 22 Your silver is become dross, your wine mixed with water. 23 Your princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves; every one loves bribes, and follows after rewards; they judge not the fatherless, neither does the cause of the widow come unto them."
24 "'Therefore,' says HaAdon יהוה Tzeva'ot, Avir Yisra'el, 'Ah, I will ease Me of My adversaries, and avenge Me of My enemies; 25 and I will turn My hand upon you, and purge away your dross as with lye, and will take away all your alloy; 26 and I will restore your judges as at the first, and your counsellors as at the beginning; afterward you shall be called 'Ir HaTzedek', 'Kiryah Ne'emanah'. 27 Tzion shall be redeemed with justice, and they that return of her with tzedaka.

יְשַׁעְיָהוּ פרק א
א חֲזוֹן יְשַׁעְיָהוּ בֶן אָמוֹץ אֲשֶׁר חָזָה עַל יְהוּדָה וִירוּשָׁלִָם בִּימֵי עֻזִּיָּהוּ יוֹתָם אָחָז יְחִזְקִיָּהוּ מַלְכֵי יְהוּדָה. ב שִׁמְעוּ שָׁמַיִם וְהַאֲזִינִי אֶרֶץ כִּי יהוה דִּבֵּר: בָּנִים גִּדַּלְתִּי וְרוֹמַמְתִּי וְהֵם פָּשְׁעוּ בִי. ג יָדַע שׁוֹר קֹנֵהוּ וַחֲמוֹר אֵבוּס בְּעָלָיו; יִשְׂרָאֵל לֹא יָדַע עַמִּי לֹא הִתְבּוֹנָן. ד הוֹי גּוֹי חֹטֵא עַם כֶּבֶד עָו‍ֹן זֶרַע מְרֵעִים בָּנִים מַשְׁחִיתִים; עָזְבוּ אֶת יהוה נִאֲצוּ אֶת קְדוֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵל נָזֹרוּ אָחוֹר. ה עַל מֶה תֻכּוּ עוֹד תּוֹסִיפוּ סָרָה; כָּל רֹאשׁ לָחֳלִי וְכָל לֵבָב דַּוָּי. ו מִכַּף רֶגֶל וְעַד רֹאשׁ אֵין בּוֹ מְתֹם פֶּצַע וְחַבּוּרָה וּמַכָּה טְרִיָּה; לֹא זֹרוּ וְלֹא חֻבָּשׁוּ וְלֹא רֻכְּכָה בַּשָּׁמֶן. ז אַרְצְכֶם שְׁמָמָה עָרֵיכֶם שְׂרֻפוֹת אֵשׁ; אַדְמַתְכֶם לְנֶגְדְּכֶם זָרִים אֹכְלִים אֹתָהּ וּשְׁמָמָה כְּמַהְפֵּכַת זָרִים. ח וְנוֹתְרָה בַת צִיּוֹן כְּסֻכָּה בְכָרֶם; כִּמְלוּנָה בְמִקְשָׁה כְּעִיר נְצוּרָה. ט לוּלֵי יהוה צְבָאוֹת הוֹתִיר לָנוּ שָׂרִיד כִּמְעָט כִּסְדֹם הָיִינוּ לַעֲמֹרָה דָּמִינוּ.
י שִׁמְעוּ דְבַר יהוה קְצִינֵי סְדֹם; הַאֲזִינוּ תּוֹרַת אֱלֹהֵינוּ עַם עֲמֹרָה. יא לָמָּה לִּי רֹב זִבְחֵיכֶם יֹאמַר יהוה שָׂבַעְתִּי עֹלוֹת אֵילִים וְחֵלֶב מְרִיאִים; וְדַם פָּרִים וּכְבָשִׂים וְעַתּוּדִים לֹא חָפָצְתִּי. יב כִּי תָבֹאוּ לֵרָאוֹת פָּנָי מִי בִקֵּשׁ זֹאת מִיֶּדְכֶם רְמֹס חֲצֵרָי. יג לֹא תוֹסִיפוּ הָבִיא מִנְחַת שָׁוְא קְטֹרֶת תּוֹעֵבָה הִיא לִי; חֹדֶשׁ וְשַׁבָּת קְרֹא מִקְרָא לֹא אוּכַל אָוֶן וַעֲצָרָה. יד חָדְשֵׁיכֶם וּמוֹעֲדֵיכֶם שָׂנְאָה נַפְשִׁי הָיוּ עָלַי לָטֹרַח; נִלְאֵיתִי נְשֹׂא. טו וּבְפָרִשְׂכֶם כַּפֵּיכֶם אַעְלִים עֵינַי מִכֶּם גַּם כִּי תַרְבּוּ תְפִלָּה אֵינֶנִּי שֹׁמֵעַ: יְדֵיכֶם דָּמִים מָלֵאוּ. טז רַחֲצוּ הִזַּכּוּ הָסִירוּ רֹעַ מַעַלְלֵיכֶם מִנֶּגֶד עֵינָי: חִדְלוּ הָרֵעַ. יז לִמְדוּ הֵיטֵב דִּרְשׁוּ מִשְׁפָּט אַשְּׁרוּ חָמוֹץ; שִׁפְטוּ יָתוֹם רִיבוּ אַלְמָנָה. יח לְכוּ נָא וְנִוָּכְחָה יֹאמַר יהוה ; אִם יִהְיוּ חֲטָאֵיכֶם כַּשָּׁנִים כַּשֶּׁלֶג יַלְבִּינוּ אִם יַאְדִּימוּ כַתּוֹלָע כַּצֶּמֶר יִהְיוּ. יט אִם תֹּאבוּ וּשְׁמַעְתֶּם טוּב הָאָרֶץ תֹּאכֵלוּ. כ וְאִם תְּמָאֲנוּ וּמְרִיתֶם חֶרֶב תְּאֻכְּלוּ כִּי פִּי יהוה דִּבֵּר.
כא אֵיכָה הָיְתָה לְזוֹנָה קִרְיָה נֶאֱמָנָה; מְלֵאֲתִי מִשְׁפָּט צֶדֶק יָלִין בָּהּ וְעַתָּה מְרַצְּחִים. כב כַּסְפֵּךְ הָיָה לְסִיגִים; סָבְאֵךְ מָהוּל בַּמָּיִם. כג שָׂרַיִךְ סוֹרְרִים וְחַבְרֵי גַּנָּבִים כֻּלּוֹ אֹהֵב שֹׁחַד וְרֹדֵף שַׁלְמֹנִים; יָתוֹם לֹא יִשְׁפֹּטוּ וְרִיב אַלְמָנָה לֹא יָבוֹא אֲלֵיהֶם.
כד לָכֵן נְאֻם הָאָדוֹן יהוה צְבָאוֹת אֲבִיר יִשְׂרָאֵל: הוֹי אֶנָּחֵם מִצָּרַי וְאִנָּקְמָה מֵאוֹיְבָי. כה וְאָשִׁיבָה יָדִי עָלַיִךְ וְאֶצְרֹף כַּבֹּר סִיגָיִךְ; וְאָסִירָה כָּל בְּדִילָיִךְ. כו וְאָשִׁיבָה שֹׁפְטַיִךְ כְּבָרִאשֹׁנָה וְיֹעֲצַיִךְ כְּבַתְּחִלָּה; אַחֲרֵי כֵן יִקָּרֵא לָךְ עִיר הַצֶּדֶק קִרְיָה נֶאֱמָנָה. כז צִיּוֹן בְּמִשְׁפָּט תִּפָּדֶה; וְשָׁבֶיהָ בִּצְדָקָה.

Yokhanan Chapter 15
1 “I am the Vine of Truth, and Avi is the caretaker. 2 Every branch in me that does not bear fruit, He cuts off; and the one which bears fruit, He prunes so that it may bring forth more fruit. 3 You have already been pruned because of HaDavar which I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, and I in you. Just as a branch cannot give fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, even so you cannot unless you remain in me. 5 I am the vine, you are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, will bear abundant fruit; for without me you can do nothing. 6 Unless a man remains in me, he will be cast outside like a branch which is withered, which they pick up and throw into the fire to be burned. 7 If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, whatever you ask shall be done for you. 8 In this, HaAv will be glorified, that you bear abundant fruit and be my Talmidim.”
9 “Just as Avi has loved me, I also have loved you; abide in my love. 10 If you keep my mitzvot, you will abide in my love, even as I have kept the mitzvot of Avi, and abide in His love. 11 I have spoken these things to you that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.

יוחנן פרק טו
א אֲנִי הוּא גֶּפֶן הָאֱמֶת, וְאָבִי הוּא הַכּוֹרֵם. ב כָּל שָׂרִיג בִּי שֶׁאֵינוֹ נוֹתֵן פְּרִי, הוּא מֵסִיר אוֹתוֹ; וַאֲשֶׁר נוֹתֵן פְּרִי, הוּא מְטַהֵר אוֹתוֹ כְּדֵי שֶׁיַּעֲשֶׂה פְּרִי רַב. ג אַתֶּם כְּבָר טְהוֹרִים בִּגְלַל הַדָּבָר שֶׁדִּבַּרְתִּי אֲלֵיכֶם. ד עִמְדוּ בִּי, וַאֲנִי בָּכֶם. כְּשֵׁם שֶׁהַשָּׂרִיג אֵינוֹ יָכוֹל לָתֵת פְּרִי מֵעַצְמוֹ אִם לֹא יַעֲמֹד בַּגֶּפֶן, כָּךְ גַּם לֹא אַתֶּם אִם לֹא תַּעֲמְדוּ בִּי. ה אֲנִי הוּא הַגֶּפֶן, וְאַתֶּם הַשָּׂרִיגִים. מִי שֶׁעוֹמֵד בִּי וַאֲנִי בּוֹ, הַלָּה עוֹשֶׂה פְּרִי רַב; כִּי בִּלְעָדַי אֵינְכֶם יְכוֹלִים לַעֲשׂוֹת כְּלוּם. ו וְאִישׁ אִם אֵינֶנּוּ עוֹמֵד בִּי, מֻשְׁלָךְ הוּא הַחוּצָה כְּשָׂרִיג יָבֵשׁ; וּמְלַקְּטִים אוֹתוֹ וּמַשְׁלִיכִים אוֹתוֹ לָאֵשׁ לְהִשָּׂרֵף. ז אֲבָל אִם תַּעַמְדוּ בִּי וּדְבָרַי יַעַמְדוּ בָּכֶם, כָּל מַה שֶּׁתִּרְצוּ לְבַקֵּשׁ יִהְיֶה לָכֶם. ח בָּזֹאת יְפֹאַר הָאָב, שֶׁתַּעֲשׂוּ הַרְבֵּה פְּרִי וְתִהְיוּ תַּלְמִידַי.
ט כְּשֵׁם שֶׁאֲהָבַנִי אָבִי גַּם אֲנִי אָהַבְתִּי אֶתְכֶם. עִמְדוּ בְּאַהֲבָתִי שֶׁלִּי. י אִם אֶת מִצְווֹתַי תִּשְׁמְרוּ, תַּעַמְדוּ בְּאַהֲבָתִי, כְּפִי שֶׁאֲנִי שָׁמַרְתִּי אֶת מִצְווֹת אָבִי וְעוֹמֵד אֲנִי בְּאַהֲבָתוֹ. יא אֶת אֵלֶּה דִּבַּרְתִּי אֲלֵיכֶם כְּדֵי שֶׁשִּׂמְחָתִי תִּהְיֶה בָּכֶם וְתֻשְׁלַם שִׂמְחַתְכֶם.
