BaMidbar Chapter 16
1 Now Korakh, Ben Yitz'har, Ben Kehat, Ben Levi, with Datan and Aviram, B'nei Eli'av, and On, Ben Pelet, B'nei Re'uven, took men; 2 and they rose up in the face of Moshe, with certain of B'nei Yisra'el, two hundred and fifty men; they were princes of the assembly, the elect men of the assembly, men of reputation; 3 and they assembled themselves together against Moshe and against Aharon, and said unto them, "You take too much upon you, seeing all the assembly are K'doshim, every one of them, and יהוה is among them; why do you then lift up yourselves above the congregation of יהוה ?" And 4 when Moshe heard it, he fell upon his face. 5 And he spoke unto Korakh and unto all his company, saying, "In the morning יהוה will show who are His, and who is kadosh, and will cause him to come near unto Him; even him whom He may choose will He cause to come near unto Him. 6 This do: take yourself censors, Korakh, and all his company; 7 and put fire therein, and put incense upon them before יהוה tomorrow; and it shall be that the man whom יהוה does choose, he shall be kadosh; you take too much upon you, you sons of Levi." 8 And Moshe said unto Korakh, "Hear now, you sons of Levi: 9 is it but a small thing unto you, that the Elohim of Yisra'el has separated you from the assembly of Yisra'el, to bring you near to Himself, to do the service of the Mishkan of יהוה , and to stand before the assembly to minister unto them; 10 and that He has brought you near, and all your brethren the sons of Levi with you? And will you seek the kehunah also? 11 Therefore, you and all your company that are gathered together against יהוה and Aharon, what is he that you murmur against him?"
12 And Moshe sent to call Datan and Aviram, the sons of Eli'av; and they said, "We will not come up; 13 is it a small thing that you have brought us up out of a land flowing with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, but you need to make yourself also a prince over us? 14 Moreover you have not brought us into a land flowing with milk and honey, nor given us inheritance of fields and vineyards; will you put out the eyes of these men? We will not come up." 15 And Moshe was very wroth, and said unto יהוה , "Respect not their offering; I have not taken one donkey from them, neither have I hurt one of them." 16 And Moshe said unto Korakh, "You and all your assembly be before יהוה tomorrow, you, and they, and Aharon; 17 and you, take every man his fire-pan, and put incense upon them, and bring before יהוה every man his fire-pan, two hundred and fifty fire-pans; you also, and Aharon, each his fire-pan." 18 And they took every man his fire-pan, and put fire in them, and laid incense thereon, and stood at the door of the Ohel Mo'ed with Moshe and Aharon. 19 And Korakh assembled all the assembly against them unto the door of the Ohel Mo'ed; and the K'vod יהוה appeared unto all the assembly.
20 And יהוה spoke unto Moshe and unto Aharon, saying, 21 "Separate yourselves from among this assembly, that I may consume them in a moment." 22 And they fell upon their faces, and said, "O Elohim, the Elohim of the rukhot of all flesh, shall one man sin, and will you be wroth with all the assembly?"
23 And יהוה spoke unto Moshe, saying, 24 "Speak unto the assembly, saying, "Get up from about the dwelling of Korakh, Datan, and Aviram'." 25 And Moshe rose up and went unto Datan and Aviram; and the elders of Yisra'el followed him. 26 And he spoke unto the assembly, saying, "Depart, I pray, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest you be swept away in all their sins." 27 So they got them up from the dwelling of Korakh, Datan, and Aviram, on every side; and Datan and Aviram came out, and stood at the door of their tents, with their wives, and their sons, and their little ones. 28 And Moshe said, "Hereby you shall know that יהוה has sent me to do all these works, and that I have not done them of my own mind. 29 If these men die the common death of all men, and be visited after the visitation of all men, then יהוה has not sent Me. 30 But if יהוה makes a new thing, and the ground opens her mouth and swallows them up, with all that belongs unto them, and they go down alive into the pit, then you shall understand that these men have despised יהוה ."
31 And it came to pass, as he made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground did cleave asunder that was under them. 32 And the earth opened her mouth and swallowed them up, and their households, and all the men that belonged unto Korakh, and all their goods. 33 So they and all that belonged to them went down alive into the pit; and the earth closed upon them, and they perished from among the assembly. 34 And all Yisra'el that were round about them fled at the cry of them; for they said, "Lest the earth swallows us up." 35 And fire came forth from יהוה , and devoured the two hundred and fifty men that offered the incense.

א וַיִּקַּח קֹרַח בֶּן יִצְהָר בֶּן קְהָת בֶּן לֵוִי וְדָתָן וַאֲבִירָם בְּנֵי אֱלִיאָב וְאוֹן בֶּן פֶּלֶת בְּנֵי רְאוּבֵן.
ב וַיָּקֻמוּ לִפְנֵי מֹשֶׁה וַאֲנָשִׁים מִבְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל חֲמִשִּׁים וּמָאתָיִם נְשִׂיאֵי עֵדָה קְרִאֵי מוֹעֵד אַנְשֵׁי שֵׁם.
ג וַיִּקָּהֲלוּ עַל מֹשֶׁה וְעַל אַהֲרֹן וַיֹּאמְרוּ אֲלֵהֶם רַב לָכֶם כִּי כָל הָעֵדָה כֻּלָּם קְדֹשִׁים וּבְתוֹכָם יהוה וּמַדּוּעַ תִּתְנַשְּׂאוּ עַל קְהַל יהוה .
ד וַיִּשְׁמַע מֹשֶׁה וַיִּפֹּל עַל פָּנָיו.
ה וַיְדַבֵּר אֶל קֹרַח וְאֶל כָּל עֲדָתוֹ לֵאמֹר בֹּקֶר וְיֹדַע יהוה אֶת אֲשֶׁר לוֹ וְאֶת הַקָּדוֹשׁ וְהִקְרִיב אֵלָיו וְאֵת אֲשֶׁר יִבְחַר בּוֹ יַקְרִיב אֵלָיו.
ו זֹאת עֲשׂוּ קְחוּ לָכֶם מַחְתּוֹת קֹרַח וְכָל עֲדָתוֹ.
ז וּתְנוּ בָהֵן אֵשׁ וְשִׂימוּ עֲלֵיהֶן קְטֹרֶת לִפְנֵי יהוה מָחָר וְהָיָה הָאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִבְחַר יהוה הוּא הַקָּדוֹשׁ רַב לָכֶם בְּנֵי לֵוִי.
ח וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה אֶל קֹרַח שִׁמְעוּ נָא בְּנֵי לֵוִי.
ט הַמְעַט מִכֶּם כִּי הִבְדִּיל אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶתְכֶם מֵעֲדַת יִשְׂרָאֵל לְהַקְרִיב אֶתְכֶם אֵלָיו לַעֲבֹד אֶת עֲבֹדַת מִשְׁכַּן יהוה וְלַעֲמֹד לִפְנֵי הָעֵדָה לְשָׁרְתָם.
י וַיַּקְרֵב אֹתְךָ וְאֶת כָּל אַחֶיךָ בְנֵי לֵוִי אִתָּךְ וּבִקַּשְׁתֶּם גַּם כְּהֻנָּה.
יא לָכֵן אַתָּה וְכָל עֲדָתְךָ הַנֹּעָדִים עַל יהוה וְאַהֲרֹן מַה הוּא כִּי תלונו (תַלִּינוּ) עָלָיו.
יב וַיִּשְׁלַח מֹשֶׁה לִקְרֹא לְדָתָן וְלַאֲבִירָם בְּנֵי אֱלִיאָב וַיֹּאמְרוּ לֹא נַעֲלֶה.
יג הַמְעַט כִּי הֶעֱלִיתָנוּ מֵאֶרֶץ זָבַת חָלָב וּדְבַשׁ לַהֲמִיתֵנוּ בַּמִּדְבָּר כִּי תִשְׂתָּרֵר עָלֵינוּ גַּם הִשְׂתָּרֵר.
יד אַף לֹא אֶל אֶרֶץ זָבַת חָלָב וּדְבַשׁ הֲבִיאֹתָנוּ וַתִּתֶּן לָנוּ נַחֲלַת שָׂדֶה וָכָרֶם הַעֵינֵי הָאֲנָשִׁים הָהֵם תְּנַקֵּר לֹא נַעֲלֶה.
טו וַיִּחַר לְמֹשֶׁה מְאֹד וַיֹּאמֶר אֶל יהוה אַל תֵּפֶן אֶל מִנְחָתָם לֹא חֲמוֹר אֶחָד מֵהֶם נָשָׂאתִי וְלֹא הֲרֵעֹתִי אֶת אַחַד מֵהֶם.
טז וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה אֶל קֹרַח אַתָּה וְכָל עֲדָתְךָ הֱיוּ לִפְנֵי יהוה אַתָּה וָהֵם וְאַהֲרֹן מָחָר.
יז וּקְחוּ אִישׁ מַחְתָּתוֹ וּנְתַתֶּם עֲלֵיהֶם קְטֹרֶת וְהִקְרַבְתֶּם לִפְנֵי יהוה אִישׁ מַחְתָּתוֹ חֲמִשִּׁים וּמָאתַיִם מַחְתֹּת וְאַתָּה וְאַהֲרֹן אִישׁ מַחְתָּתוֹ.
יח וַיִּקְחוּ אִישׁ מַחְתָּתוֹ וַיִּתְּנוּ עֲלֵיהֶם אֵשׁ וַיָּשִׂימוּ עֲלֵיהֶם קְטֹרֶת וַיַּעַמְדוּ פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וּמֹשֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן.
יט וַיַּקְהֵל עֲלֵיהֶם קֹרַח אֶת כָּל הָעֵדָה אֶל פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וַיֵּרָא כְבוֹד יהוה אֶל כָּל הָעֵדָה.
כ וַיְדַבֵּר יהוה אֶל מֹשֶׁה וְאֶל אַהֲרֹן לֵאמֹר.
כא הִבָּדְלוּ מִתּוֹךְ הָעֵדָה הַזֹּאת וַאֲכַלֶּה אֹתָם כְּרָגַע.
כב וַיִּפְּלוּ עַל פְּנֵיהֶם וַיֹּאמְרוּ אֵל אֱלֹהֵי הָרוּחֹת לְכָל בָּשָׂר הָאִישׁ אֶחָד יֶחֱטָא וְעַל כָּל הָעֵדָה תִּקְצֹף.
כג וַיְדַבֵּר יהוה אֶל מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר.
כד דַּבֵּר אֶל הָעֵדָה לֵאמֹר הֵעָלוּ מִסָּבִיב לְמִשְׁכַּן קֹרַח דָּתָן וַאֲבִירָם.
כה וַיָּקָם מֹשֶׁה וַיֵּלֶךְ אֶל דָּתָן וַאֲבִירָם וַיֵּלְכוּ אַחֲרָיו זִקְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל.
כו וַיְדַבֵּר אֶל הָעֵדָה לֵאמֹר סוּרוּ נָא מֵעַל אָהֳלֵי הָאֲנָשִׁים הָרְשָׁעִים הָאֵלֶּה וְאַל תִּגְּעוּ בְּכָל אֲשֶׁר לָהֶם פֶּן תִּסָּפוּ בְּכָל חַטֹּאתָם.
כז וַיֵּעָלוּ מֵעַל מִשְׁכַּן קֹרַח דָּתָן וַאֲבִירָם מִסָּבִיב וְדָתָן וַאֲבִירָם יָצְאוּ נִצָּבִים פֶּתַח אָהֳלֵיהֶם וּנְשֵׁיהֶם וּבְנֵיהֶם וְטַפָּם.
כח וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה בְּזֹאת תֵּדְעוּן כִּי יהוה שְׁלָחַנִי לַעֲשׂוֹת אֵת כָּל הַמַּעֲשִׂים הָאֵלֶּה כִּי לֹא מִלִּבִּי.
כט אִם כְּמוֹת כָּל הָאָדָם יְמֻתוּן אֵלֶּה וּפְקֻדַּת כָּל הָאָדָם יִפָּקֵד עֲלֵיהֶם לֹא יהוה שְׁלָחָנִי.
ל וְאִם בְּרִיאָה יִבְרָא יהוה וּפָצְתָה הָאֲדָמָה אֶת פִּיהָ וּבָלְעָה אֹתָם וְאֶת כָּל אֲשֶׁר לָהֶם וְיָרְדוּ חַיִּים שְׁאֹלָה וִידַעְתֶּם כִּי נִאֲצוּ הָאֲנָשִׁים הָאֵלֶּה אֶת יהוה .
לא וַיְהִי כְּכַלֹּתוֹ לְדַבֵּר אֵת כָּל הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה וַתִּבָּקַע הָאֲדָמָה אֲשֶׁר תַּחְתֵּיהֶם.
לב וַתִּפְתַּח הָאָרֶץ אֶת פִּיהָ וַתִּבְלַע אֹתָם וְאֶת בָּתֵּיהֶם וְאֵת כָּל הָאָדָם אֲשֶׁר לְקֹרַח וְאֵת כָּל הָרְכוּשׁ.
לג וַיֵּרְדוּ הֵם וְכָל אֲשֶׁר לָהֶם חַיִּים שְׁאֹלָה וַתְּכַס עֲלֵיהֶם הָאָרֶץ וַיֹּאבְדוּ מִתּוֹךְ הַקָּהָל.
לד וְכָל יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר סְבִיבֹתֵיהֶם נָסוּ לְקֹלָם כִּי אָמְרוּ פֶּן תִּבְלָעֵנוּ הָאָרֶץ.
לה וְאֵשׁ יָצְאָה מֵאֵת יהוה וַתֹּאכַל אֵת הַחֲמִשִּׁים וּמָאתַיִם אִישׁ מַקְרִיבֵי הַקְּטֹרֶת.

BaMidbar Chapter 17
1 And יהוה spoke unto Moshe, saying, 2 "Speak unto Elazar Ben Aharon the kohen, that he take up the fire-pans out of the burning, and scatter the fire yonder; for they are become kadosh, 3 even the fire-pans of these men who have sinned at the cost of their lives, and let them be made into beaten plates for a covering of the Mizbe'akh, for they are become kadosh, because they were offered before יהוה , that they may be a sign unto B'nei Yisra'el." 4 And Elazar the kohen took the brazen fire-pans, which they that were burnt had offered; and they beat them out for a covering of the Mizbe'akh, 5 to be a memorial unto B'nei Yisra'el, to the end that no common man that is not of the seed of Aharon draw near to burn incense before יהוה ; that he fare not as Korakh, and as his company, as יהוה spoke unto him by the hand of Moshe.
6 But on the morrow all the assembly of B'nei Yisra'el murmured against Moshe and against Aharon, saying, "You have killed the people of יהוה ." And 7 it came to pass, when the assembly was assembled against Moshe and against Aharon, that they looked toward the Ohel Mo'ed; and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the K'vod יהוה appeared. 8 And Moshe and Aharon came to the front of the Ohel Mo'ed.
9 And יהוה spoke unto Moshe, saying, 10 "Get up from among this assembly, that I may consume them in a moment." And they fell upon their faces. 11 And Moshe said unto Aharon, "Take your fire-pan, and put fire therein from off the Mizbe'akh, and lay incense thereon, and carry it quickly unto the assembly, and make atonement for them; for there is wrath gone out from יהוה : the plague is begun." 12 And Aharon took as Moshe spoke, and ran into the midst of the assembly; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people; and he put on the incense, and made atonement for the people. 13 And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed. 14 Now they that died by the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, besides them that died about the matter of Korakh. 15 And Aharon returned unto Moshe unto the door of the Ohel Mo'ed, and the plague was stayed. 16 And יהוה spoke unto Moshe, saying, 17 "Speak unto B'nei Yisra'el, and take of them rods, one for each father’s house, of all their princes according to their fathers' houses, twelve rods; you shall write every man's name upon his rod. 18 And you shall write Aharon's name upon the rod of Levi, for there shall be one rod for the head of their fathers' houses. 19 And you shall lay them up in the Ohel Mo'ed before the testimony where I meet with you. 20 And it shall come to pass that the man whom I shall choose, his rod shall bud; and I will make to cease from Me the murmurings of B'nei Yisra'el, which they murmur against you."
21 And Moshe spoke unto B'nei Yisra'el; and all their princes gave him rods, for each prince, one, according to their fathers' houses, even twelve rods; and the rod of Aharon was among their rods. 22 And Moshe laid up the rods before יהוה in the Ohel HaEdut. 23 And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moshe went into the Ohel HaEdut; and, behold, the rod of Aharon for Beit Levi was budded, and put forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and bore ripe almonds. 24 And Moshe brought out all the rods from before יהוה unto all B'nei Yisra'el; and they looked, and took every man his rod.
25 And יהוה said unto Moshe, "Put back the rod of Aharon before the testimony, to be kept there, for a token against the rebellious children; that there may be made an end of their murmurings against Me, that they die not." 26 Thus did Moshe; as יהוה commanded him, so did he.
27 And B'nei Yisra'el spoke unto Moshe, saying, "Behold, we perish, we are undone, we are all undone. 28 Every one that comes near, that comes near unto the Mishkan of יהוה , is to die; shall we wholly perish?" | במדבר פרק יז
א וַיְדַבֵּר יהוה אֶל מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר.
ב אֱמֹר אֶל אֶלְעָזָר בֶּן אַהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֵן וְיָרֵם אֶת הַמַּחְתֹּת מִבֵּין הַשְּׂרֵפָה וְאֶת הָאֵשׁ זְרֵה הָלְאָה כִּי קָדֵשׁוּ.
ג אֵת מַחְתּוֹת הַחַטָּאִים הָאֵלֶּה בְּנַפְשֹׁתָם וְעָשׂוּ אֹתָם רִקֻּעֵי פַחִים צִפּוּי לַמִּזְבֵּחַ כִּי הִקְרִיבֻם לִפְנֵי יהוה וַיִּקְדָּשׁוּ וְיִהְיוּ לְאוֹת לִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל.
ד וַיִּקַּח אֶלְעָזָר הַכֹּהֵן אֵת מַחְתּוֹת הַנְּחֹשֶׁת אֲשֶׁר הִקְרִיבוּ הַשְּׂרֻפִים וַיְרַקְּעוּם צִפּוּי לַמִּזְבֵּחַ.
ה זִכָּרוֹן לִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לְמַעַן אֲשֶׁר לֹא יִקְרַב אִישׁ זָר אֲשֶׁר לֹא מִזֶּרַע אַהֲרֹן הוּא לְהַקְטִיר קְטֹרֶת לִפְנֵי יהוה וְלֹא יִהְיֶה כְקֹרַח וְכַעֲדָתוֹ כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר יהוה בְּיַד מֹשֶׁה לוֹ.
ו וַיִּלֹּנוּ כָּל עֲדַת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל מִמָּחֳרָת עַל מֹשֶׁה וְעַל אַהֲרֹן לֵאמֹר אַתֶּם הֲמִתֶּם אֶת עַם יהוה.
ז וַיְהִי בְּהִקָּהֵל הָעֵדָה עַל מֹשֶׁה וְעַל אַהֲרֹן וַיִּפְנוּ אֶל אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וְהִנֵּה כִסָּהוּ הֶעָנָן וַיֵּרָא כְּבוֹד יהוה.
ח וַיָּבֹא מֹשֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן אֶל פְּנֵי אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד.
ט וַיְדַבֵּר יהוה אֶל מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר.
י הֵרֹמּוּ מִתּוֹךְ הָעֵדָה הַזֹּאת וַאֲכַלֶּה אֹתָם כְּרָגַע וַיִּפְּלוּ עַל פְּנֵיהֶם.
יא וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה אֶל אַהֲרֹן קַח אֶת הַמַּחְתָּה וְתֶן עָלֶיהָ אֵשׁ מֵעַל הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וְשִׂים קְטֹרֶת וְהוֹלֵךְ מְהֵרָה אֶל הָעֵדָה וְכַפֵּר עֲלֵיהֶם כִּי יָצָא הַקֶּצֶף מִלִּפְנֵי יהוה הֵחֵל הַנָּגֶף.
יב וַיִּקַּח אַהֲרֹן כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר מֹשֶׁה וַיָּרָץ אֶל תּוֹךְ הַקָּהָל וְהִנֵּה הֵחֵל הַנֶּגֶף בָּעָם וַיִּתֵּן אֶת הַקְּטֹרֶת וַיְכַפֵּר עַל הָעָם.
יג וַיַּעֲמֹד בֵּין הַמֵּתִים וּבֵין הַחַיִּים וַתֵּעָצַר הַמַּגֵּפָה.
יד וַיִּהְיוּ הַמֵּתִים בַּמַּגֵּפָה אַרְבָּעָה עָשָׂר אֶלֶף וּשְׁבַע מֵאוֹת מִלְּבַד הַמֵּתִים עַל דְּבַר קֹרַח.
טו וַיָּשָׁב אַהֲרֹן אֶל מֹשֶׁה אֶל פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וְהַמַּגֵּפָה נֶעֱצָרָה.
טז וַיְדַבֵּר יהוה אֶל מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר.
יז דַּבֵּר אֶל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְקַח מֵאִתָּם מַטֶּה מַטֶּה לְבֵית אָב מֵאֵת כָּל נְשִׂיאֵהֶם לְבֵית אֲבֹתָם שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר מַטּוֹת אִישׁ אֶת שְׁמוֹ תִּכְתֹּב עַל מַטֵּהוּ.
יח וְאֵת שֵׁם אַהֲרֹן תִּכְתֹּב עַל מַטֵּה לֵוִי כִּי מַטֶּה אֶחָד לְרֹאשׁ בֵּית אֲבוֹתָם.
יט וְהִנַּחְתָּם בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵד לִפְנֵי הָעֵדוּת אֲשֶׁר אִוָּעֵד לָכֶם שָׁמָּה.
כ וְהָיָה הָאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר אֶבְחַר בּוֹ מַטֵּהוּ יִפְרָח וַהֲשִׁכֹּתִי מֵעָלַי אֶת תְּלֻנּוֹת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר הֵם מַלִּינִם עֲלֵיכֶם.
כא וַיְדַבֵּר מֹשֶׁה אֶל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיִּתְּנוּ אֵלָיו כָּל נְשִׂיאֵיהֶם מַטֶּה לְנָשִׂיא אֶחָד מַטֶּה לְנָשִׂיא אֶחָד לְבֵית אֲבֹתָם שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר מַטּוֹת וּמַטֵּה אַהֲרֹן בְּתוֹךְ מַטּוֹתָם.
כב וַיַּנַּח מֹשֶׁה אֶת הַמַּטֹּת לִפְנֵי יהוה בְּאֹהֶל הָעֵדֻת.
כג וַיְהִי מִמָּחֳרָת וַיָּבֹא מֹשֶׁה אֶל אֹהֶל הָעֵדוּת וְהִנֵּה פָּרַח מַטֵּה אַהֲרֹן לְבֵית לֵוִי וַיֹּצֵא פֶרַח וַיָּצֵץ צִיץ וַיִּגְמֹל שְׁקֵדִים.
כד וַיֹּצֵא מֹשֶׁה אֶת כָּל הַמַּטֹּת מִלִּפְנֵי יהוה אֶל כָּל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיִּרְאוּ וַיִּקְחוּ אִישׁ מַטֵּהוּ.
כה וַיֹּאמֶר יהוה אֶל מֹשֶׁה הָשֵׁב אֶת מַטֵּה אַהֲרֹן לִפְנֵי הָעֵדוּת לְמִשְׁמֶרֶת לְאוֹת לִבְנֵי מֶרִי וּתְכַל תְּלוּנֹּתָם מֵעָלַי וְלֹא יָמֻתוּ.
כו וַיַּעַשׂ מֹשֶׁה כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה אֹתוֹ כֵּן עָשָׂה.
כז וַיֹּאמְרוּ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶל מֹשֶׁה לֵאמֹר הֵן גָּוַעְנוּ אָבַדְנוּ כֻּלָּנוּ אָבָדְנוּ.
כח כֹּל הַקָּרֵב הַקָּרֵב אֶל מִשְׁכַּן יהוה יָמוּת הַאִם תַּמְנוּ לִגְוֹעַ.

BaMidbar Chapter 18
1 And יהוה said unto Aharon, "You and your sons and your fathers' house with you shall bear the iniquity of the Mikdash; and you and your sons with you shall bear the iniquity of your kehunah. 2 And your brethren also, the tribe of Levi, the tribe of your father, bring near with you, that they may be joined unto you, and minister unto you, you and your sons with you being before the Ohel HaEdut. 3 And they shall keep your charge, and the charge of all the Ohel; only they shall not come nigh unto the consecrated furnishings and unto the Mizbe'akh, that they die not, neither they nor you. 4 And they shall be joined unto you, and keep the charge of the Ohel Mo'ed, whatever the service of the Ohel may be; but a common man shall not draw nigh unto you. 5 And you shall keep the charge of the consecrated things, and the charge of the Mizbe'akh, that there be wrath no more upon B'nei Yisra'el. 6 And I, behold, I have taken your brethren the Levi'im from among B'nei Yisra'el; for you they are given as a gift unto יהוה , to do the service of the Ohel Mo'ed. 7 And you and your sons with you shall keep your kehunah in everything that pertains to the Mizbe'akh, and to that within the veil; and you shall serve; I give you your Kehunah as a service of gift; and the common man that draws nigh shall be put to death."
8 And יהוה spoke unto Aharon, "And I, behold, I have given you the charge of My Terumot; even of all the hallowed things of B'nei Yisra'el, unto you have I given them for a consecrated portion, and to your sons, as a due forever. 9 This shall be yours of the Kodesh HaKadashim, reserved from the fire: every offering of theirs, even every Minkhah of theirs, and every Khatat of theirs, and every Asham of theirs, which they may render unto Me, shall be Kodesh Kadashim for you and for your sons. 10 In a most kadosh place shall you eat thereof; every male may eat thereof; it shall be kadosh unto you. 11 And this is yours: the Terumah of their gift, even all the wave-offerings of B'nei Yisra'el; I have given them unto you, and to your sons and to your daughters with you, as a due forever; every one that is clean in your house may eat thereof. 12 All the best of the oil, and all the choice wine, and of the grain, the first part of them which they give unto יהוה , to you have I given them. 13 The first-ripe fruits of all that is in their land, which they bring unto יהוה , shall be yours; every one that is clean in your house may eat thereof. 14 Every thing devoted in Yisra'el shall be yours. 15 Every thing that opens the womb, of all flesh which they offer unto יהוה , both of man and beast, shall be yours; however, the first-born of man shall you surely redeem, and the firstling of unclean beasts shall you redeem. 16 And their redemption-money, from a khodesh old shall you redeem them, shall be, according to your valuation, five shekels of silver, after the Shekel HaKodesh, the same is twenty gerahs. 17 But the firstling of an ox, or the firstling of a sheep, or the firstling of a goat you shall not redeem; they are kodesh: you shall dash their blood against the Mizbe'akh, and shall make their fat smoke for an offering made by fire, for a sweet savor unto יהוה . And18 the flesh of them shall be yours, as the wave-breast and as the right thigh, it shall be yours. 19 All the Terumot of the consecrated things, which B'nei Yisra'el offer unto יהוה , have I given you and your sons and your daughters with you, as a due forever; it is an everlasting covenant of salt before יהוה unto you and to your seed with you."
20 And יהוה said unto Aharon, "You shall have no inheritance in their land, neither shall you have any portion among them; I am your portion and your inheritance among B'nei Yisra'el. 21 And unto the children of Levi, behold, I have given all the tenth-part in Yisra'el for an inheritance, in return for their service which they serve, even the service of the Ohel Mo'ed. 22 And henceforth B'nei Yisra'el shall not come nigh the Ohel Mo'ed, lest they bear sin, and die. 23 But the Levi'im alone shall do the service of the Ohel Mo'ed, and they shall bear their iniquity; it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations, and among B'nei Yisra'el they shall have no inheritance. 24 For the tenth-part of B'nei Yisra'el, which they consecrate as a gift unto יהוה , I have given to the Levi'im for an inheritance; therefore I have said unto them, 'Among B'nei Yisra'el they shall have no inheritance'."
25 And יהוה spoke unto Moshe, saying, 26 "Moreover you shall speak unto the Levi'im, and say unto them, 'When you take of B'nei Yisra'el the tenth-part which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then you shall consecrate of it a gift for יהוה , even a tenth-part of the tenth-part. 27 And the gift which you consecrate shall be reckoned unto you, as though it were the grain of the threshing-floor, and as the fullness of the wine-press. 28 Thus you also shall consecrate a gift unto יהוה of all your tenth-parts, which you receive of B'nei Yisra'el; and thereof you shall give the gift which is consecrated unto יהוה to Aharon the kohen. 29 Out of all that is given you, you shall consecrate all of that which is due unto יהוה , of all the best thereof, even the hallowed part thereof out of it. 30 Therefore you shall say unto them, 'When you consecrate the best thereof from it, then it shall be counted unto the Levi'im as the increase of the threshing-floor, and as the increase of the wine-press. 31 And you may eat it in every place, you and your households; for it is your reward in return for your service in the Ohel Mo'ed. 32 And you shall bear no sin by reason of it, seeing that you have consecrated from it the best thereof; and you shall not profane the consecrated things of B'nei Yisra'el, that you die not'." | במדבר פרק יח

ג וְשָׁמְרוּ מִשְׁמַרְתְּךָ וּמִשְׁמֶרֶת כָּל הָאֹהֶל אַךְ אֶל כְּלֵי הַקֹּדֶשׁ וְאֶל הַמִּזְבֵּחַ לֹא יִקְרָבוּ וְלֹא יָמֻתוּ גַם הֵם גַּם אַתֶּם.
ד וְנִלְווּ עָלֶיךָ וְשָׁמְרוּ אֶת מִשְׁמֶרֶת אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד לְכֹל עֲבֹדַת הָאֹהֶל וְזָר לֹא יִקְרַב אֲלֵיכֶם.
ה וּשְׁמַרְתֶּם אֵת מִשְׁמֶרֶת הַקֹּדֶשׁ וְאֵת מִשְׁמֶרֶת הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וְלֹא יִהְיֶה עוֹד קֶצֶף עַל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל.
ו וַאֲנִי הִנֵּה לָקַחְתִּי אֶת אֲחֵיכֶם הַלְוִיִּם מִתּוֹךְ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לָכֶם מַתָּנָה נְתֻנִים לַיהוה לַעֲבֹד אֶת עֲבֹדַת אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד.
ז וְאַתָּה וּבָנֶיךָ אִתְּךָ תִּשְׁמְרוּ אֶת כְּהֻנַּתְכֶם לְכָל דְּבַר הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וּלְמִבֵּית לַפָּרֹכֶת וַעֲבַדְתֶּם עֲבֹדַת מַתָּנָה אֶתֵּן אֶת כְּהֻנַּתְכֶם וְהַזָּר הַקָּרֵב יוּמָת.
ח וַיְדַבֵּר יהוה אֶל אַהֲרֹן וַאֲנִי הִנֵּה נָתַתִּי לְךָ אֶת מִשְׁמֶרֶת תְּרוּמֹתָי לְכָל קָדְשֵׁי בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לְךָ נְתַתִּים לְמָשְׁחָה וּלְבָנֶיךָ לְחָק עוֹלָם.
ט זֶה יִהְיֶה לְךָ מִקֹּדֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁים מִן הָאֵשׁ כָּל קָרְבָּנָם לְכָל מִנְחָתָם וּלְכָל חַטָּאתָם וּלְכָל אֲשָׁמָם אֲשֶׁר יָשִׁיבוּ לִי קֹדֶשׁ קָדָשִׁים לְךָ הוּא וּלְבָנֶיךָ.
י בְּקֹדֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁים תֹּאכְלֶנּוּ כָּל זָכָר יֹאכַל אֹתוֹ קֹדֶשׁ יִהְיֶה לָּךְ.
יא וְזֶה לְּךָ תְּרוּמַת מַתָּנָם לְכָל תְּנוּפֹת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לְךָ נְתַתִּים וּלְבָנֶיךָ וְלִבְנֹתֶיךָ אִתְּךָ לְחָק עוֹלָם כָּל טָהוֹר בְּבֵיתְךָ יֹאכַל אֹתוֹ.
יב כֹּל חֵלֶב יִצְהָר וְכָל חֵלֶב תִּירוֹשׁ וְדָגָן רֵאשִׁיתָם אֲשֶׁר יִתְּנוּ לַיהוה לְךָ נְתַתִּים.
יג בִּכּוּרֵי כָּל אֲשֶׁר בְּאַרְצָם אֲשֶׁר יָבִיאוּ לַיהוה לְךָ יִהְיֶה כָּל טָהוֹר בְּבֵיתְךָ יֹאכְלֶנּוּ.
יד כָּל חֵרֶם בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל לְךָ יִהְיֶה.
טו כָּל פֶּטֶר רֶחֶם לְכָל בָּשָׂר אֲשֶׁר יַקְרִיבוּ לַיהוה בָּאָדָם וּבַבְּהֵמָה יִהְיֶה לָּךְ אַךְ פָּדֹה תִפְדֶּה אֵת בְּכוֹר הָאָדָם וְאֵת בְּכוֹר הַבְּהֵמָה הַטְּמֵאָה תִּפְדֶּה.
טז וּפְדוּיָו מִבֶּן חֹדֶשׁ תִּפְדֶּה בְּעֶרְכְּךָ כֶּסֶף חֲמֵשֶׁת שְׁקָלִים בְּשֶׁקֶל הַקֹּדֶשׁ עֶשְׂרִים גֵּרָה הוּא.
יז אַךְ בְּכוֹר שׁוֹר אוֹ בְכוֹר כֶּשֶׂב אוֹ בְכוֹר עֵז לֹא תִפְדֶּה קֹדֶשׁ הֵם אֶת דָּמָם תִּזְרֹק עַל הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וְאֶת חֶלְבָּם תַּקְטִיר אִשֶּׁה לְרֵיחַ נִיחֹחַ לַיהוה .
יח וּבְשָׂרָם יִהְיֶה לָּךְ כַּחֲזֵה הַתְּנוּפָה וּכְשׁוֹק הַיָּמִין לְךָ יִהְיֶה.
יט כֹּל תְּרוּמֹת הַקֳּדָשִׁים אֲשֶׁר יָרִימוּ בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לַיהוה נָתַתִּי לְךָ וּלְבָנֶיךָ וְלִבְנֹתֶיךָ אִתְּךָ לְחָק עוֹלָם בְּרִית מֶלַח עוֹלָם הִוא לִפְנֵי יהוה לְךָ וּלְזַרְעֲךָ אִתָּךְ.
כ וַיֹּאמֶר יהוה אֶל אַהֲרֹן בְּאַרְצָם לֹא תִנְחָל וְחֵלֶק לֹא יִהְיֶה לְךָ בְּתוֹכָם אֲנִי חֶלְקְךָ וְנַחֲלָתְךָ בְּתוֹךְ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל.
כא וְלִבְנֵי לֵוִי הִנֵּה נָתַתִּי כָּל מַעֲשֵׂר בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל לְנַחֲלָה חֵלֶף עֲבֹדָתָם אֲשֶׁר הֵם עֹבְדִים אֶת עֲבֹדַת אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד.
כב וְלֹא יִקְרְבוּ עוֹד בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶל אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד לָשֵׂאת חֵטְא לָמוּת.
כג וְעָבַד הַלֵּוִי הוּא אֶת עֲבֹדַת אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וְהֵם יִשְׂאוּ עֲוֹנָם חֻקַּת עוֹלָם לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם וּבְתוֹךְ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לֹא יִנְחֲלוּ נַחֲלָה.
כד כִּי אֶת מַעְשַׂר בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר יָרִימוּ לַיהוה תְּרוּמָה נָתַתִּי לַלְוִיִּם לְנַחֲלָה עַל כֵּן אָמַרְתִּי לָהֶם בְּתוֹךְ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לֹא יִנְחֲלוּ נַחֲלָה.
כה וַיְדַבֵּר יהוה אֶל מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר.
כו וְאֶל הַלְוִיִּם תְּדַבֵּר וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם כִּי תִקְחוּ מֵאֵת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת הַמַּעֲשֵׂר אֲשֶׁר נָתַתִּי לָכֶם מֵאִתָּם בְּנַחֲלַתְכֶם וַהֲרֵמֹתֶם מִמֶּנּוּ תְּרוּמַת יהוה מַעֲשֵׂר מִן הַמַּעֲשֵׂר.
כז וְנֶחְשַׁב לָכֶם תְּרוּמַתְכֶם כַּדָּגָן מִן הַגֹּרֶן וְכַמְלֵאָה מִן הַיָּקֶב.
כח כֵּן תָּרִימוּ גַם אַתֶּם תְּרוּמַת יהוה מִכֹּל מַעְשְׂרֹתֵיכֶם אֲשֶׁר תִּקְחוּ מֵאֵת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וּנְתַתֶּם מִמֶּנּוּ אֶת תְּרוּמַת יהוה לְאַהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֵן.
כט מִכֹּל מַתְּנֹתֵיכֶם תָּרִימוּ אֵת כָּל תְּרוּמַת יהוה מִכָּל חֶלְבּוֹ אֶת מִקְדְּשׁוֹ מִמֶּנּוּ.
ל וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם בַּהֲרִימְכֶם אֶת חֶלְבּוֹ מִמֶּנּוּ וְנֶחְשַׁב לַלְוִיִּם כִּתְבוּאַת גֹּרֶן וְכִתְבוּאַת יָקֶב.
לא וַאֲכַלְתֶּם אֹתוֹ בְּכָל מָקוֹם אַתֶּם וּבֵיתְכֶם כִּי שָׂכָר הוּא לָכֶם חֵלֶף עֲבֹדַתְכֶם בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵד.
לב וְלֹא תִשְׂאוּ עָלָיו חֵטְא בַּהֲרִימְכֶם אֶת חֶלְבּוֹ מִמֶּנּוּ וְאֶת קָדְשֵׁי בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לֹא תְחַלְּלוּ וְלֹא תָמוּתוּ.

14 Then said Shmu'el to the people, "Come and let us go to Gilgal, and renew the kingdom there." 15 And all the people went to Gilgal; and there they made Sha'ul Melekh before יהוה in Gilgal; and there they sacrificed sacrifices of Sh'lamim before יהוה ; and there Sha'ul and all the men of Yisra'el rejoiced greatly.

Shmu'el Alef (1st Samuel) Chapter 12
1 And Shmu'el said unto all Yisra'el, "Behold, I have hearkened unto your voice in all that you said unto me, and have made a melekh over you. 2 And now, behold, HaMelekh walks before you; and I am old and grayheaded; and, behold, my sons are with you; and I have walked before you from my youth unto this day. 3 Here I am; witness against me before יהוה , and before His anointed: whose ox have I taken? Or whose donkey have I taken? Or whom have I defrauded? Or whom have I oppressed? Or of whose hand have I taken a ransom to blind my eyes therewith? And I will restore it to you." 4 And they said, "You have not defrauded us, nor oppressed us, neither have you taken aught of any man’s hand." 5 And he said unto them, " יהוה is witness against you, and His anointed is witness this day, that you have not found aught in my hand." And they said, "He is witness."
6 And Shmu'el said unto the people, "It is יהוה that made Moshe and Aharon, and that brought your fathers up out of the land of Mitzrayim. 7 Now therefore stand still, that I may plead with you before יהוה concerning all the righteous acts of יהוה , which He did to you and to your fathers. 8 When Ya'akov was come into Mitzrayim, then your fathers cried unto יהוה , and יהוה sent Moshe and Aharon, who brought forth your fathers out of Mitzrayim, and they were made to dwell in this place. 9 But they forgot יהוה their Elohim, and He gave them over into the hand of Sisera, captain of the host of Khatzor, and into the hand of the P'lishtim, and into the hand of the king of Mo'av, and they fought against them. 10 And they cried unto יהוה , and said, 'We have sinned, because we have forsaken יהוה , and have served the Ba'alim and the Ashtarot; but now deliver us out of the hand of our enemies, and we will serve You.' 11 And יהוה sent Yeruba'al, and Bedan, and Yiftakh, and Shmu'el, and delivered you out of the hand of your enemies on every side, and you dwelt in safety. 12 And when you saw that Nakhash the king of the children of Amon came against you, you said unto me, 'Nay, but a melekh shall reign over us;' when יהוה your Elohim was your Melekh. 13 Now therefore behold HaMelekh whom you have chosen, and whom you have asked for; and, behold, יהוה has set a melekh over you. 14 If you will fear יהוה , and serve Him, and hearken unto His voice, and not rebel against the direction of יהוה , and both you and also HaMelekh that reigns over you are followers of יהוה your Elohim; 15 but if you will not hearken unto the voice of יהוה , but rebel against the direction of יהוה , then shall the hand of יהוה be against you, and against your fathers. 16 Now therefore stand still and see this great thing, which יהוה will do before your eyes. 17 Is it not wheat harvest today? I will call unto יהוה , that He may send thunder and rain; and you shall know and see that your wickedness is great, which you have done in the sight of יהוה , in asking you a melekh." 18 So Shmu'el called unto יהוה ; and יהוה sent thunder and rain that day; and all the people greatly feared יהוה and Shmu'el. 19 And all the people said unto Shmu'el, "Pray for your servants unto יהוה your Elohim, that we die not; for we have added unto all our sins this evil, to ask us a melekh." 20 And Shmu'el said unto the people, "Fear not; you have indeed done all this evil; yet turn not aside from following יהוה , but serve יהוה with all your heart; 21 and do not turn aside; for then should you go after vain things which cannot profit nor deliver, for they are vain. 22 For יהוה will not forsake His people for His Great Name’s sake; because it has pleased יהוה to make you a people unto Himself.

א וַיֹּאמֶר שְׁמוּאֵל אֶל כָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל הִנֵּה שָׁמַעְתִּי בְקֹלְכֶם לְכֹל אֲשֶׁר אֲמַרְתֶּם לִי; וָאַמְלִיךְ עֲלֵיכֶם מֶלֶךְ.
ב וְעַתָּה הִנֵּה הַמֶּלֶךְ מִתְהַלֵּךְ לִפְנֵיכֶם וַאֲנִי זָקַנְתִּי וָשַׂבְתִּי וּבָנַי הִנָּם אִתְּכֶם; וַאֲנִי הִתְהַלַּכְתִּי לִפְנֵיכֶם מִנְּעֻרַי עַד הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה.
ג הִנְנִי עֲנוּ בִי נֶגֶד יהוה וְנֶגֶד מְשִׁיחוֹ אֶת שׁוֹר מִי לָקַחְתִּי וַחֲמוֹר מִי לָקַחְתִּי וְאֶת מִי עָשַׁקְתִּי אֶת מִי רַצּוֹתִי וּמִיַּד מִי לָקַחְתִּי כֹפֶר וְאַעְלִים עֵינַי בּוֹ; וְאָשִׁיב לָכֶם.
ד וַיֹּאמְרוּ לֹא עֲשַׁקְתָּנוּ וְלֹא רַצּוֹתָנוּ; וְלֹא לָקַחְתָּ מִיַּד אִישׁ מְאוּמָה.
ה וַיֹּאמֶר אֲלֵיהֶם עֵד יהוה בָּכֶם וְעֵד מְשִׁיחוֹ הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה כִּי לֹא מְצָאתֶם בְּיָדִי מְאוּמָה; וַיֹּאמֶר עֵד.
ו וַיֹּאמֶר שְׁמוּאֵל אֶל הָעָם: יהוה אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה אֶת מֹשֶׁה וְאֶת אַהֲרֹן וַאֲשֶׁר הֶעֱלָה אֶת אֲבֹתֵיכֶם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם.
ז וְעַתָּה הִתְיַצְּבוּ וְאִשָּׁפְטָה אִתְּכֶם לִפְנֵי יהוה : אֵת כָּל צִדְקוֹת יהוה אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה אִתְּכֶם וְאֶת אֲבוֹתֵיכֶם.
ח כַּאֲשֶׁר בָּא יַעֲקֹב מִצְרָיִם וַיִּזְעֲקוּ אֲבוֹתֵיכֶם אֶל יהוה וַיִּשְׁלַח יהוה אֶת מֹשֶׁה וְאֶת אַהֲרֹן וַיּוֹצִיאוּ אֶת אֲבֹתֵיכֶם מִמִּצְרַיִם וַיֹּשִׁבוּם בַּמָּקוֹם הַזֶּה.
ט וַיִּשְׁכְּחוּ אֶת יהוה אֱלֹהֵיהֶם; וַיִּמְכֹּר אֹתָם בְּיַד סִיסְרָא שַׂר צְבָא חָצוֹר וּבְיַד פְּלִשְׁתִּים וּבְיַד מֶלֶךְ מוֹאָב וַיִּלָּחֲמוּ בָּם.
י וַיִּזְעֲקוּ אֶל יהוה ויאמר (וַיֹּאמְרוּ) חָטָאנוּ כִּי עָזַבְנוּ אֶת יהוה וַנַּעֲבֹד אֶת הַבְּעָלִים וְאֶת הָעַשְׁתָּרוֹת; וְעַתָּה הַצִּילֵנוּ מִיַּד אֹיְבֵינוּ וְנַעַבְדֶךָּ.
יא וַיִּשְׁלַח יהוה אֶת יְרֻבַּעַל וְאֶת בְּדָן וְאֶת יִפְתָּח וְאֶת שְׁמוּאֵל; וַיַּצֵּל אֶתְכֶם מִיַּד אֹיְבֵיכֶם מִסָּבִיב וַתֵּשְׁבוּ בֶּטַח.
יב וַתִּרְאוּ כִּי נָחָשׁ מֶלֶךְ בְּנֵי עַמּוֹן בָּא עֲלֵיכֶם וַתֹּאמְרוּ לִי לֹא כִּי מֶלֶךְ יִמְלֹךְ עָלֵינוּ: וַיהוה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם מַלְכְּכֶם.
יג וְעַתָּה הִנֵּה הַמֶּלֶךְ אֲשֶׁר בְּחַרְתֶּם אֲשֶׁר שְׁאֶלְתֶּם; וְהִנֵּה נָתַן יהוה עֲלֵיכֶם מֶלֶךְ.
יד אִם תִּירְאוּ אֶת יהוה וַעֲבַדְתֶּם אֹתוֹ וּשְׁמַעְתֶּם בְּקוֹלוֹ וְלֹא תַמְרוּ אֶת פִּי יהוה וִהְיִתֶם גַּם אַתֶּם וְגַם הַמֶּלֶךְ אֲשֶׁר מָלַךְ עֲלֵיכֶם אַחַר יהוה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם.
טו וְאִם לֹא תִשְׁמְעוּ בְּקוֹל יהוה וּמְרִיתֶם אֶת פִּי יהוה וְהָיְתָה יַד יהוה בָּכֶם וּבַאֲבֹתֵיכֶם.
טז גַּם עַתָּה הִתְיַצְּבוּ וּרְאוּ אֶת הַדָּבָר הַגָּדוֹל הַזֶּה אֲשֶׁר יהוה עֹשֶׂה לְעֵינֵיכֶם.
יז הֲלוֹא קְצִיר חִטִּים הַיּוֹם אֶקְרָא אֶל יהוה וְיִתֵּן קֹלוֹת וּמָטָר; וּדְעוּ וּרְאוּ כִּי רָעַתְכֶם רַבָּה אֲשֶׁר עֲשִׂיתֶם בְּעֵינֵי יהוה לִשְׁאוֹל לָכֶם מֶלֶךְ.
יח וַיִּקְרָא שְׁמוּאֵל אֶל יהוה וַיִּתֵּן יהוה קֹלֹת וּמָטָר בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא; וַיִּירָא כָל הָעָם מְאֹד אֶת יהוה וְאֶת שְׁמוּאֵל.
יט וַיֹּאמְרוּ כָל הָעָם אֶל שְׁמוּאֵל הִתְפַּלֵּל בְּעַד עֲבָדֶיךָ אֶל יהוה אֱלֹהֶיךָ וְאַל נָמוּת: כִּי יָסַפְנוּ עַל כָּל חַטֹּאתֵינוּ רָעָה לִשְׁאֹל לָנוּ מֶלֶךְ.
כ וַיֹּאמֶר שְׁמוּאֵל אֶל הָעָם אַל תִּירָאוּ אַתֶּם עֲשִׂיתֶם אֵת כָּל הָרָעָה הַזֹּאת; אַךְ אַל תָּסוּרוּ מֵאַחֲרֵי יהוה וַעֲבַדְתֶּם אֶת יהוה בְּכָל לְבַבְכֶם.
כא וְלֹא תָּסוּרוּ: כִּי אַחֲרֵי הַתֹּהוּ אֲשֶׁר לֹא יוֹעִילוּ וְלֹא יַצִּילוּ כִּי תֹהוּ הֵמָּה.
כב כִּי לֹא יִטֹּשׁ יהוה אֶת עַמּוֹ בַּעֲבוּר שְׁמוֹ הַגָּדוֹל: כִּי הוֹאִיל יהוה לַעֲשׂוֹת אֶתְכֶם לוֹ לְעָם.

Tehillim Chapter 5
1 For the Leader; upon the Nekhilot. A Mizmor of David.
2 Give ear to my words, O יהוה , consider my meditation.
3 Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my Melekh, and my Elohim; for unto You do I pray.
4 O יהוה , in the morning shall You hear my voice; in the morning will I order my prayer unto You, and will look forward.
5 For You are not a God that has pleasure in wickedness; evil shall not sojourn with You.
6 The boasters shall not stand in Your sight; You hate all workers of iniquity.
7 You destroy them that speak falsehood; יהוה abhors the man of blood and of deceit.
8 But as for me, in the abundance of Your compassion will I come into Your house; I will bow down toward Your Heikhal Kadosh in the fear of You.
9 O יהוה , lead me in Your tzedaka because of them that lie in wait for me; make Your way straight before my face.
10 For there is no sincerity in their mouth; their inward part is a yawning gulf, their throat is an open grave; they make smooth their tongue.
11 Hold them guilty, O Elohim, let them fall by their own counsels; cast them down in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against You.
12 So shall all those that take refuge in You rejoice, they shall ever shout for joy, and You shall shelter them; let them also that love Your Name exult in You.
13 For You do bless a Tzadik; O יהוה , You do encompass him with favor as with a shield.

אַ לַמְנַצֵּח אֶל הַנְּחִילוֹת מִזְמוֹר לְדָוִד.
ב אֲמָרַי הַאֲזִינָה יהוה; בִּינָה הֲגִיגִי.
ג הַקְשִׁיבָה לְקוֹל שַׁוְעִי מַלְכִּי וֵאלֹהָי: כִּיָ אֵלֶיך אֶתְפַּלָּל.
ד יהוה בֹּקֶר תִּשְׁמַע קוֹלִי; בֹּקֶרְ אֶעֱרָךָ לְך וַאֲצַפֶּה.
ה כִּי לֹא אֵל חָפֵץ רֶשַׁע אָתָּה: לֹאָ יְגֻרְך רָע.
ו לֹא יִתְיַצְּבוּ הוֹלְלִים לְנֶגֶדָ עֵינֶיךָ; שָׂנֵאת כָּל פֹּעֲלֵי אָוֶן.
ז תְּאַבֵּד דֹּבְרֵי כָזָב; אִיש דָּמִים וּמִרְמָה יְתָעֵב יהוה.
ח וַאֲנִי בְּרֹבָ חַסְדְּך אָבוֹאָ בֵיתֶך; אֶשְׁתַּחֲוֶה אֶל הֵיכַלָ קָדְשְׁךָ בְּיִרְאָתֶך.
ט יהוה נְחֵנִיָ בְצִדְקָתֶך לְמַעַן שׁוֹרְרָי; הושר )הַיְשַׁר( לְפָנַיָ דַּרְכֶּך.
י כִּי אֵין בְּפִיהוּ נְכוֹנָה קִרְבָּם הַוּוֹת: קֶבֶרַ פָּתוּח גְּרֹנָם; לְשׁוֹנָם יַחֲלִיקוּן.
יא הַאֲשִׁימֵם אֱלֹהִים יִפְּלוּ מִמֹּעֲצוֹתֵיהֶם:
בְּרֹב פִּשְׁעֵיהֶם הַדִּיחֵמוֹ כִּי מָרְוּ בָך.
יב וְיִשְׂמְחוּ כָל חוֹסֵיְ בָך לְעוֹלָם יְרַנֵּנְוּ וְתָסֵך עָלֵימוֹ; וְיַעְלְצָוּ בְך אֹהֲבֵיָ שְׁמֶך.

35 And when He drew near Yerikho, a blind man was sitting by the roadside and begging. 36 And He heard the voice of the people passing, and asked, “Who is this?” 37 They said to him, “Yeshua HaNatzri is passing.” 38 And he cried, saying, “O Yeshua, Ben David, have mercy on me!” 39 And those who were going before Yeshua rebuked him, telling him to keep quiet; but he cried the more, “O, Ben David, have mercy on me!” 40 So Yeshua stood still, and commanded them to call him to Him; and as he came near He asked him, 41 saying, “What do you wish me to do for you?” He answered, “My Adon, that I may see.” 42 And Yeshua said to him, “See; your Emunah has healed you.” 43 And he saw immediately, and followed Him, praising Elohim; and all the people who saw it gave praise to Elohim.” | לוקא פרק יח

מא וְאָמַר לוֹ: מָה אַתָּה רוֹצֶה שֶׁאֶעֱשֶׂה לְךָ? וְהוּא אָמַר: אֲדוֹנִי, שֶׁאֶרְאֶה.
מב וְיֵשׁוּעַ אָמַר לוֹ: רְאֵה; אֱמוּנָתְךָ הֶחֶיְתָה אוֹתְךָ.
מג וּבוֹ בָּרֶגַע רָאָה, וּבָא אַחֲרָיו וְשִׁבַּח אֶת הָאֱלֹהִים. וְכָל הָעָם שֶׁרָאָה, נָתַן שֶׁבַח לֵאלֹהִים.

Luka (Luke) Chapter 19
1 And when Yeshua entered and passed through Yerikho, 2 there was a man named Zakai who was rich, and was chief of the tax collectors. 3 And he wanted to see who Yeshua was; but he could not because of the crowd, for Zakai was small in stature. 4 So he ran ahead of Yeshua, and climbed up into a leafless tree that he might see him, because he was to pass that way. 5 When Yeshua came to that place, He saw him and said to him, “Make haste, come down, O Zakai, for today I must stay at your house.” 6 And he hastened and came down, and welcomed Him with joy. 7 Now when they all saw it, they murmured, saying, “He has entered to stay in the house of a sinner.” 8 But Zakai rose up and said to Yeshua, “Behold, My Adon, half of my wealth I will give to the poor; and I will pay fourfold to every man from whom I have extorted.” 9 Yeshua said to him, “Today, life has come to this house, because he also is a son of Avraham. 10 For Ben HaAdam came to seek and save that which was lost.”
11 While they were listening to these things, He continued by speaking a mashal, because He was near Yerushalayim, and they were expecting that Malkhut HaElohim would appear at that very hour; 12 And He said, “A great man of a noble family went to a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. 13 And he called his ten servants, and gave them ten coins, and said to them, ‘Transact business until I come back.' 14 But the people of his city hated him, and sent messengers after him, saying, ‘We do not want him to rule over us.' 15 And when he received the kingdom and returned, he commanded to call his servants to whom he had given the money, that he might know what each one of them had gained in business. 16 The first one came and said, ‘My Adon, your coin has gained ten coins.' 17 He said to him, ‘O good servant! Because you are found faithful in a little, you will have charge over ten talents.' 18 And the second came and said, ‘My Adon, your coin has gained five coins.' 19 He said to this one, ‘You also will have charge over five talents.' 20 But another one came and said, ‘My Adon, here is your coin which was with me, which I kept laid up in a purse. 21 For I was afraid of you, because you are a harsh man; you pick up what you have not laid down, and you reap what you have not sown.' 22 He said to him, ‘I will judge you from your own mouth, O wicked servant. You knew me, that I am a harsh man, and pick up what I have not laid down, and reap what I have not sowed. 23 Why then did you not give my money to the exchange, so that when I came I could demand it with its interest?' 24 And he said to those who stood in his presence, ‘Take away the coin from him and give it to him who has ten coins.' 25 They said to him, ‘Our Adon, he has already with him ten coins.' 26 He said to them, ‘I say to you: To everyone who has shall be given; and from him who has not, even that which he has will be taken away from him. 27 But those my enemies, who were not willing that I should rule over them, bring here, and kill them before me.'”

א וְכַאֲשֶׁר נִכְנַס יֵשׁוּעַ וְעָבַר בִּירִיחוֹ,
ב אִישׁ אֶחָד אֲשֶׁר שְׁמוֹ זַכַּי, שֶׁהָיָה עָשִׁיר וְרֹאשׁ הַמּוֹכְסִים,
ג רָצָה לִרְאוֹת אֶת יֵשׁוּעַ, מִי הוּא; וְלֹא הָיָה יָכוֹל בִּגְלַל הֶהָמוֹן, כִּי נָמוּךְ בְּקוֹמָתוֹ הָיָה זַכַּי.
ד וְהוּא רָץ לִפְנֵי יֵשׁוּעַ, וְעָלָה עַל עֵץ שִׁקְמָה כְּדֵי לִרְאוֹתוֹ, כִּי כָּכָה הָיָה עָתִיד לַעֲבֹר.
ה וְכַאֲשֶׁר בָּא יֵשׁוּעַ לַמָּקוֹם הַהוּא, רָאָהוּ וְאָמַר לוֹ: הִזְדָּרֵז וְרֵד, זַכַּי, כִּי הַיּוֹם מִן הָרָאוּי שֶׁאֶהְיֶה בְּבֵיתְךָ.
ו וּמִהֵר וְיָרַד, וְקִבְּלוֹ בְּשִׂמְחָה.
ז אֲבָל כְּשֶׁרָאוּ כֻּלָּם, רָטְנוּ וְאָמְרוּ: אֶל אִישׁ חוֹטֵא נִכְנַס לְהִתְאָרֵחַ.
ח קָם זַכַּי וְאָמַר לְיֵשׁוּעַ: הִנֵּה, אֲדוֹנִי, אֶת מַחֲצִית נְכָסַי נוֹתֵן אֲנִי לָעֲנִיִּים; וּלְכָל אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר עָשַׁקְתִּי, פִּי אַרְבָּעָה אֲשַׁלֵּם.
ט אָמַר לוֹ יֵשׁוּעַ: הַיּוֹם הָיוּ חַיִּים לַבַּיִת הַזֶּה, כִּי גַּם זֶה בֶּן אַבְרָהָם הוּא;
י שֶׁהֲרֵי בָּא בֶּן הָאָדָם לְחַפֵּשׂ וּלְהוֹשִׁיעַ אֶת מַה שֶּׁהָיָה אָבוּד.
יא וְכַאֲשֶׁר שָׁמְעוּ אֶת הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה, הוֹסִיף לוֹמַר מָשָׁל, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁהָיָה קָרוֹב לִירוּשָׁלַיִם וְהֵם חָשְׁבוּ כִּי בְּאוֹתָהּ הַשָּׁעָה עֲתִידָה לְהִתְגַּלּוֹת מַלְכוּת הָאֱלֹהִים.
יב וְאָמַר: אִישׁ אֶחָד, בֶּן אֲצִילִים, הָלַךְ לְאֶרֶץ רְחוֹקָה לַקַחַת לוֹ מַמְלָכָה וְלַחֲזֹר.
יג וְקָרָא לַעֲשֶׂרֶת עֲבָדָיו וְנָתַן לָהֶם עֲשָׂרָה מָנִים, וְאָמַר לָהֶם, סַחֲרוּ עַד אֲשֶׁר אָבוֹא.
יד אֲבָל בְּנֵי עִירוֹ שָׂנְאוּ אוֹתוֹ, וְשָׁלְחוּ שְׁלִיחִים אַחֲרָיו לֵאמֹר, אֵינֶנּוּ רוֹצִים שֶׁיִּמְלֹךְ עָלֵינוּ זֶה.
טו וְכַאֲשֶׁר לָקַח אֶת הַמַּמְלָכָה וְחָזַר, אָמַר לִקְרֹא אֵלָיו אֶת עֲבָדָיו אֲשֶׁר נָתַן לָהֶם כֶּסֶף, כְּדֵי לָדַעַת מַה הִרְוִיחַ כָּל אֶחָד מֵהֶם.
טז וּבָא הָרִאשׁוֹן וְאָמַר, אֲדוֹנִי, הַמָּנֶה שֶׁלְּךָ הִרְוִיחַ עֲשָׂרָה מָנִים.
יז אָמַר לוֹ, יָפֶה, עֶבֶד טוֹב! מִכֵּיוָן שֶׁנִּמְצֵאתָ נֶאֱמָן בִּמְעַט, תִּהְיֶה שַׁלִּיט עַל עֶשֶׂר עָרִים.
יח וּבָא הַשֵּׁנִי וְאָמַר, אֲדוֹנִי, הַמָּנֶה שֶׁלְּךָ עָשָׂה חֲמִשָּׁה מָנִים.
יט אָמַר גַּם לָזֶה, אַף אַתָּה תִּהְיֶה שַׁלִּיט עַל חָמֵשׁ עָרִים.
כ וּבָא אַחֵר וְאָמַר, אֲדוֹנִי, הִנֵּה הַמָּנֶה שֶׁלְּךָ אֲשֶׁר הָיָה מֻנָּח אֶצְלִי בְּמִטְפַּחַת,
כא כִּי פָּחַדְתִּי מִמְּךָ מִפְּנֵי שֶׁאִישׁ קָשֶׁה אַתָּה, וְאַתָּה לוֹקֵחַ אֶת מַה שֶּׁלֹּא הִנַּחְתָּ וְקוֹצֵר אֶת מַה שֶּׁלֹּא זָרַעְתָּ.
כב אָמַר לוֹ, מִפִּיךָ אֶשְׁפֹּט אוֹתְךָ, עֶבֶד רַע. הִכַּרְתָּ אוֹתִי, שֶׁאִישׁ קָשֶׁה אֲנִי וְלוֹקֵחַ אֶת מַה שֶּׁלֹּא הִנַּחְתִּי וְקוֹצֵר אֶת מַה שֶּׁלֹּא זָרַעְתִּי.
כג מַדּוּעַ לֹא נָתַתָּ אֶת כַּסְפִּי לַשֻּׁלְחָנִי, וַאֲנִי הָיִיתִי בָּא וְתוֹבֵעַ אוֹתוֹ עִם הָרִבִּית שֶׁלּוֹ?
כד וְלָעוֹמְדִים לְפָנָיו אָמַר, קְחוּ מִמֶּנּוּ אֶת הַמָּנֶה וּתְנוּ לָזֶה שֶׁיֵּשׁ אֶצְלוֹ עֲשָׂרָה מָנִים.
כה אָמְרוּ לוֹ, אֲדוֹנֵינוּ, יֵשׁ אֶצְלוֹ עֲשָׂרָה מָנִים!
כו אָמַר לָהֶם, אוֹמֵר אֲנִי לָכֶם, לְכָל מִי שֶׁיֵּשׁ לוֹ, יִנָּתֵן לוֹ; וּמִי שֶׁאֵין לוֹ, גַּם מַה שֶּׁיֵּשׁ לוֹ יִלָּקַח מִמֶּנּוּ.
כז בְּרַם אֶת אוֹיְבַי הָהֵם, אֲשֶׁר לֹא רָצוּ שֶׁאֶמְלֹךְ עֲלֵיהֶם, הָבִיאוּ אוֹתָם וְהִרְגוּ אוֹתָם לְפָנַי.
כח וּלְאַחַר שֶׁאָמַר יֵשׁוּעַ אֶת אֵלֶּה, יָצָא הָלְאָה, לָלֶכֶת לִירוּשָׁלַיִם.

Yehudah (Jude) Chapter 1
1 Yehudah, the servant of Yeshua HaMashi'akh and brother of Ya'akov, to the people who have been called out and are beloved by Elohim HaAv, and are protected by Yeshua HaMashi'akh: 2 Rakhamim v'Shalom, v'Ahavah, be to you in abundance.
3 My beloved, I write to you with all diligence concerning our common Salvation, and it is needful that I should write and exhort you also to contend earnestly for the trust which was once delivered to the Kadosh Ones. 4 For certain men have falsely entered among you, and these were foreordained from the very beginning to this condemnation; they are ungodly men, turning the compassion of our Elohim into lasciviousness, and denying the only Adon, Elohim, and Adoneinu Yeshua HaMashi'akh. 5 I will therefore remind you, though you once knew this, that Elohim, having redeemed the people out of the land of Mitzrayim, afterward destroyed those who did not trust. 6 And the Malakhim which did not keep their first estate, but left their own habitation, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness until the judgment of Yom HaGadol, 7 even as S'dom and Amorah and the neighboring cities, which in like manner gave themselves over to fornication and followed after other carnal lusts, are condemned to judgment and placed under everlasting fire.
8 Likewise also, these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise authority, and blaspheme against The Majesty. 9 Yet Mikha'El, the Chief Malakh, when contending with The Accuser about the body of Moshe, did not dare to bring railing accusation against him, but said, “ יהוה rebuke you!” 10 But these men blaspheme against those things about which they do not know, and what they know naturally as dumb beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. 11 Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Kayin, and have run greedily after the error of Bilam for reward, and have perished in the rebellion of Korakh. 12 These people are those who, in their feasts, are polluted and are blemished, partaking without fear; they are clouds without rain, driven by winds; trees whose blossoms have withered without fruit, being twice dead, being pulled up by the roots, 13 raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. 14 And Khanokh also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, “Behold, יהוה comes with a myriad of His Kadosh Ones, 15 to execute judgment upon all, and to punish all who are ungodly for all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly manner, and for all the harsh words which the ungodly sinners have spoken.” 16 These are the ones who murmur and complain, following after their own lusts, and their mouths speak idle, flattering words, praising people for the sake of gain.
17 But you, my beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the Shlikhim of Adoneinu Yeshua HaMashi'akh, 18 how they told you that in the Akharit HaYamim there will be mockers, and they will always follow their own ungodly lusts. 19 These are those who divide, sensual people who do not have HaRu'akh in them. 20 But you, my beloved, build up yourselves anew in the consecrated trust through The Ru'akh HaKodesh, by means of prayer. 21 Let us keep ourselves in the love of Elohim, looking for the mercy of Adoneinu Yeshua HaMashi'akh, and for the life which is ours forever. 22 And some of them, snatch them from the fire; 23 and when they repent, have mercy on them with compassion; despise even a garment which is spotted with the things of the flesh.
24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His Majesty with exceeding joy, 25 to the only Elohim, Moshi'einu, through Yeshua HaMashi'akh Adoneinu, be glory, and majesty, dominion, and power, both now and in all the ages. א יְהוּדָה, עֶבֶד יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ וְאָח שֶׁל יַעֲקֹב, אֶל הַגּוֹיִים הַקְּרוּאִים אֲשֶׁר אֲהוּבִים בֵּאלֹהִים הָאָב, שְׁמוּרִים בְּיֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ:
ב רַחֲמִים וְשָׁלוֹם וְאַהֲבָה יִרְבּוּ לָכֶם.
ג אֲהוּבַי, כַּאֲשֶׁר אֶת כָּל הַשְּׁקִידָה נוֹקֵט אֲנִי כְּדֵי לִכְתֹּב לָכֶם עַל יְשׁוּעָתֵנוּ הַמְשֻׁתֶּפֶת, יֵשׁ לִי הַצֹּרֶךְ לִכְתֹּב לָכֶם בְּהַפְצִירִי בָּכֶם שֶׁתְּקַיְּמוּ מַאֲבָק בְּעַד הָאֱמוּנָה שֶׁנִּמְסְרָה פַּעַם אַחַת לַקְּדוֹשִׁים;
ד כִּי כַּמָּה אֲנָשִׁים הִשִּׂיגוּ לָהֶם כְּנִיסָה, אֲשֶׁר מִתְּחִלָּה נִכְתְּבוּ מֵרֹאשׁ לַהַרְשָׁעָה הַזֹּאת, אֲנָשִׁים רְשָׁעִים הַהוֹפְכִים אֶת חֶסֶד אֱלֹהֵינוּ לְתוֹעֵבָה, וּבוֹ אֲשֶׁר הוּא לְבַדּוֹ אָדוֹן אֱלוֹהַּ, אֲדוֹנֵינוּ יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ, בּוֹ כּוֹפְרִים.
ה וּלְהַזְכִּירְכֶם רוֹצֶה אֲנִי, אַף כִּי פַּעַם אַחַת יְדַעְתֶּם כָּל דָּבָר,שֶׁהָאֱלֹהִים, כַּאֲשֶׁר גָּאַל אֶת הָעָם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם, שֵׁנִית הֶאֱבִיד אֶת אֵלֶּה אֲשֶׁר לֹא הֶאֱמִינוּ.
ו וְאֶת הַמַּלְאָכִים אֲשֶׁר לֹא שָׁמְרוּ אֶת מַעֲלָתָם אֶלָּא עָזְבוּ אֶת מְעוֹנָם, שָׁמַר בְּכַבְלֵי עוֹלָמִים, תַּחַת אֹפֶל, לְמִשְׁפַּט הַיּוֹם הַגָּדוֹל;
ז כְּפִי שֶׁסְּדוֹם וַעֲמֹרָה וְהֶעָרִים אֲשֶׁר סְבִיבָן, שֶׁבְּאֹפֶן דּוֹמֶה לְאֵלֶּה זָנוּ וְהָלְכוּ אַחֲרֵי בָּשָׂר אַחֵר, נְתוּנוֹת תַּחַת אֵשׁ עוֹלָם בְּשַׁמְּשָׁן דֻּגְמָה.
ח בְּאוֹתוֹ אֹפֶן גַּם אֵלֶּה הַהוֹזִים בַּחֲלוֹם אָכֵן מְטַנְּפִים אֶת הַבָּשָׂר, וְדוֹחִים אֶת הַמָּרוּת וּמְגַדְּפִים אֶת הַדְרוֹת הַכָּבוֹד.
ט אֲבָל מִיכָאֵל, שַׂר הַמַּלְאָכִים, אֲשֶׁר בְּהִתְדַּיְּנוֹ עִם הַמְקַטְרֵג דִּבֵּר בְּנוֹגֵעַ לְגוּפוֹ שֶׁל מֹשֶׁה, לֹא הֵעֵז לְהָבִיא עָלָיו מִשְׁפַּט גִּדּוּף, אֶלָּא אָמַר: יִגְעַר בְּךָ יהוה .
י בְּרַם אֵלֶּה מְגַדְּפִים דְּבָרִים שֶׁאֵינָם יוֹדְעִים; וּדְבָרִים שֶׁבְּאֹרַח טִבְעִי כְּחַיּוֹת אִלְּמוֹת יוֹדְעִים הֵם, בָּהֶם הֵם נִשְׁחָתִים.
יא אוֹי לָהֶם, כִּי בְּדֶרֶךְ קַיִן הָלְכוּ, וְאַחֲרֵי תָּעוּת בִּלְעָם בַּעֲבוּר שָׂכָר נָהוּ, וּבִמְרִי קֹרַח אָבְדוּ.
יב אֵלֶּה הֵם סְלָעִים אֲשֶׁר בִּסְעוּדוֹתֵיהֶם מִתְהוֹלְלִים, בִּהְיוֹתָם רוֹעִים אֶת עַצְמָם בְּלִי יִרְאָה, עֲנָנִים בְּלִי מָטָר הַנִּדָּפִים עַל יְדֵי רוּחוֹת; עֵצִים שֶׁחָדַל פִּרְיָם וְהֵם בְּלִי פֵּרוֹת, אֲשֶׁר מֵתוּ פַּעֲמַיִם וְנִתְּקוּ מִשָּׁרְשָׁם;
יג גַּלֵּי יָם עַזִּים אֲשֶׁר בְּקִצְפָּם מַרְאִים אֶת בָּשְׁתָּם; כּוֹכָבִים תּוֹעִים אֲשֶׁר אֲפֵלַת חֹשֶׁךְ עוֹלָם שְׁמוּרָה לָהֶם.
יד וְגַם עַל אֵלֶּה הִתְנַבֵּא חֲנוֹךְ, אֲשֶׁר שְׁבִיעִי הוּא מֵאָדָם, בְּאָמְרוֹ: הִנֵּה בָּא יהוה בְּרִבְבוֹת קְדוֹשִׁים
טו לַעֲשׂוֹת מִשְׁפָּט עַל כֹּל, וּלְהוֹכִיחַ אֶת כָּל הָרְשָׁעִים בִּגְלַל כָּל הַמַּעֲשִׂים הַמְרֻשָּׁעִים אֲשֶׁר הִרְשִׁיעוּ, וּבִגְלַל כָּל הַדְּבָרִים הַקָּשִׁים אֲשֶׁר דִּבְּרוּ עָלָיו חוֹטְאִים רְשָׁעִים.
טז אֵלֶּה הֵם הַמְרַטְּנִים וְהַמִּתְלוֹנְנִים עַל כָּל דָּבָר, בְּהִתְהַלְּכָם לְפִי תַּאֲווֹתֵיהֶם; וּפִיהֶם מְדַבֵּר נוֹרָאוֹת, וּמְהַדְּרִים הֵם פָּנִים לְמַעַן רְוָחִים.
יז אֲבָל אַתֶּם, אֲהוּבַי, זִכְרוּ אֶת הַדְּבָרִים אֲשֶׁר נֶאֶמְרוּ מֵרֹאשׁ עַל יְדֵי שְׁלִיחָיו שֶׁל אֲדוֹנֵינוּ יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ,
יח שֶׁאָמְרוּ לָכֶם כִּי בְּאַחֲרִית הָעִתִּים יִהְיוּ לֵצִים הַהוֹלְכִים אַחֲרֵי הָרֶשַׁע לְפִי הַתַּאֲווֹת שֶׁלָּהֶם.
יט אֵלֶּה הֵם הַפּוֹרְשִׁים, נַפְשִׁיִּים שֶׁרוּחַ אֵין בָּהֶם.
כ אֲבָל אַתֶּם, אֲהוּבַי, הִבָּנוּ מֵחָדָשׁ בֶּאֱמוּנַתְכֶם הַקְּדוֹשָׁה בְּהִתְפַּלֶּלְכֶם בְּרוּחַ הַקֹּדֶשׁ.
כא שִׁמְרוּ עַצְמְכֶם בְּאַהֲבַת אֱלֹהִים, בְּחַכּוֹתְכֶם לְרַחֲמָיו שֶׁל אֲדוֹנֵינוּ יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ לְחַיֵּי עוֹלָם.
כב וַאֲחָדִים אֲשֶׁר נִדּוֹנוּ, הוֹכִיחוּ.
כג וַאֲחָדִים חִטְפוּ וְהַצִּילוּ מִן הָאֵשׁ; וְעַל אֲחָדִים רַחֲמוּ בְּיִרְאָה, בְּשָׂנְאֲכֶם אַף אֶת הַכֻּתֹּנֶת הַמֻּכְתֶּמֶת עַל יְדֵי הַבָּשָׂר.
כד וְלוֹ, הַיָּכוֹל לִשְׁמָרְכֶם בְּלִי מִכְשׁוֹל וּלְהַעֲמִידְכֶם בְּלִי מוּם
כה לִפְנֵי תִּפְאַרְתּוֹ בְּשִׂמְחָה, אֲשֶׁר הוּא לְבַדּוֹ הָאֱלֹהִים מוֹשִׁיעֵנוּ בְּיַד יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ אֲדוֹנֵינוּ, הַכָּבוֹד וְהַשִּׁלְטוֹן וְהַיְקָר וְהַגְּדֻלָּה בְּטֶרֶם כָּל עוֹלָם, עַתָּה וּבְכָל הָעוֹלָמִים. אָמֵן.
