BaMidbar Chapter 30
2 And Moshe spoke unto the heads of the tribes of B'nei Yisra'el, saying, "This is the thing which יהוה has commanded. 3 When a man vows a vow unto יהוה , or swears an oath to bind his soul with a bond, he shall not break his word; he shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth. 4 Also, when a woman vows a vow unto יהוה , and binds herself by a bond, being in her father’s house, in her youth, 5 and her father hears her vow, or her bond wherewith she has bound her soul, and her father holds his peace at her, then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she has bound her soul shall stand. 6 But if her father disallows her in the day that he hears, none of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she has bound her soul, shall stand; and יהוה will forgive her, because her father disallowed her. 7 And if she is married to a husband, while her vows are upon her, or the clear utterance of her lips, wherewith she has bound her soul; 8 and her husband hears it, whatsoever day it is that he hears it, and holds his peace at her; then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she has bound her soul shall stand. 9 But if her husband disallows her in the day that he hears it, then he shall make void her vow which is upon her, and the clear utterance of her lips, wherewith she has bound her soul; and יהוה will forgive her. 10 But the vow of a widow, or of her that is divorced, even every thing wherewith she has bound her soul, shall stand against her. 11 And if a woman vowed in her husband’s house, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath, 12 and her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and disallowed her not, then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand. 13 But if her husband makes them null and void in the day that he hears them, then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips, whether it were her vows, or the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband has made them void; and יהוה will forgive her. 14 Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may let it stand, or her husband may make it void. 15 But if her husband altogether holds his peace at her from day to day, then he causes all her vows to stand, or all her bonds, which are upon her; he has let them stand, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard them. 16 But if he shall make them null and void after that he has heard them, then he shall bear her iniquity."
17 These are the Khukot, which יהוה commanded Moshe, between a man and his wife, between a father and his daughter, being in her youth, in her father’s house.

BaMidbar Chapter 31
1 And יהוה spoke unto Moshe, saying, 2 "Avenge B'nei Yisra'el of the Midyanim; afterward shall you be gathered unto your people." 3 And Moshe spoke unto the people, saying, "Arm men from among you for the war, that they may go against Midyan, to execute the vengeance of יהוה on Midyan. 4 Of every tribe a thousand, throughout all the tribes of Yisra'el, shall you send to the war." 5 So there were delivered, out of the thousands of Yisra'el, a thousand of every tribe, twelve thousand armed for war. 6 And Moshe sent them, a thousand of every tribe, to the war, them and Pin'khas the son of El Azar the kohen, to the war, with the consecrated vessels and the trumpets for the alarm in his hand. 7 And they warred against Midyan, as יהוה commanded Moshe; and they slew every male. 8 And they slew the kings of Midyan with the rest of their slain: Evi, and Rekem, and Tzur, and Khur, and Revah, the five kings of Midyan; Bilam also the son of Be'or they slew with the sword. 9 And B'nei Yisra'el took captive the women of Midyan and their little ones; and all their cattle, and all their flocks, and all their goods, they took for a prey. 10 And all their cities in the places wherein they dwelt, and all their encampments, they burnt with fire. 11 And they took all the spoil, and all the prey, both of man and of beast. 12 And they brought the captives, and the prey, and the spoil, unto Moshe, and unto El Azar the kohen, and unto the assembly of B'nei Yisra'el, unto the camp, unto the plains of Mo'av, which are by the Yarden at Yerekho.
13 And Moshe, and El Azar the kohen, and all the princes of the assembly, went forth to meet them without the camp. 14 And Moshe was wroth with the officers of the host, the captains of thousands and the captains of hundreds, who came from the service of the war. 15 And Moshe said unto them, "Have you saved all the women alive? 16 Behold, these caused B'nei Yisra'el, through the counsel of Bilam, to revolt so as to break faith with יהוה in the matter of Pe'or, and so the plague was among the assembly of יהוה . Now 17 therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that has known man by lying with him. 18 But all the little girls, that have not known man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves. 19 And encamp outside the camp seven days; whoever has killed any person, and whoever has touched any slain, purify yourselves on the third day and on the seventh day, you and your captives. 20 And as to every garment, and all that is made of skin, and all work of goats' hair, and all things made of wood, you shall purify."
21 And El Azar the kohen said unto the men of war that went to the battle, "This is the statute of the Torah which יהוה has commanded Moshe: 22 but the gold, and the silver, the brass, the iron, the tin, and the lead, 23 every thing that may abide the fire, you shall make to go through the fire, and it shall be clean; nevertheless it shall be purified with the water of sprinkling; and all that abides not the fire you shall make to go through the water. 24 And you shall wash your clothes on the seventh day, and you shall be clean, and afterward you may come into the camp."
25 And יהוה spoke unto Moshe, saying, 26 "Take the sum of the prey that was taken, both of man and of beast, you, and El Azar the kohen, and the heads of the fathers' houses of the assembly; 27 and divide the prey into two parts: between the men skilled in war, that went out to battle, and all the assembly; 28 and levy a tribute unto יהוה of the men of war that went out to battle: one soul of five hundred, both of the persons, and of the beeves, and of the donkeys, and of the flocks; 29 take it of their half, and give it unto El Azar the kohen, as a portion consecrated for יהוה . And 30 of the half for B'nei Yisra'el, you shall take one drawn out of every fifty, of the persons, of the beeves, of the donkeys, and of the flocks, even of all the cattle, and give them unto the Levi'im, that keep the charge of the Mishkan of יהוה ." And 31 Moshe and El Azar the kohen did as יהוה commanded Moshe. 32 Now the prey, over and above the booty which the men of war took, was six hundred and seventy-five thousand sheep, 33 and seventy-two thousand beeves, 34 and sixty-one thousand donkeys, 35 and thirty-two thousand persons in all, of the women that had not known man by lying with him. 36 And the half, which was the portion of them that went out to war, was in number three hundred and thirty-seven thousand and five hundred sheep. 37 And the tribute of יהוה of the sheep was six hundred and seventy-five. 38 And the beeves were thirty-six thousand, of which the tribute of יהוה was seventy-two. 39 And the donkeys were thirty thousand and five hundred, of which the tribute of יהוה was sixty-one. 40 And the persons were sixteen thousand, of whom the tribute of יהוה was thirty-two persons. 41 And Moshe gave the tribute, which was consecrated for יהוה , unto El Azar the kohen, as יהוה commanded Moshe. 42 And of the half for B'nei Yisra'el, which Moshe divided off from the men that warred, 43 now the congregation’s half was three hundred and thirty-seven thousand and five hundred sheep, 44 and thirty-six thousand beeves, 45 and thirty thousand and five hundred donkeys, 46 and sixteen thousand persons, 47 even of the half for B'nei Yisra'el, Moshe took one drawn out of every fifty, both of man and of beast, and gave them unto the Levi'im, that kept the charge of the Mishkan of יהוה , as יהוה commanded Moshe. 48 And the officers that were over the thousands of the host, the captains of thousands, and the captains of hundreds, came near unto Moshe; 49 and they said unto Moshe, "Your servants have taken the sum of the men of war that are under our charge, and there lacks not one man of us. 50 And we have brought the offering of יהוה , what every man has gotten, of jewels of gold, armlets, and bracelets, signet-rings, ear-rings, and girdles, to make atonement for our souls before יהוה ." And 51 Moshe and El Azar the kohen took the gold of them, even all wrought jewels. 52 And all the gold of the gift that they consecrated for יהוה , of the captains of thousands, and of the captains of hundreds, was sixteen thousand seven hundred and fifty shekels., 53 For the men of war had taken booty, every man for himself. 54 And Moshe and El Azar the kohen took the gold of the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and brought it into the tent of meeting, for a memorial for B'nei Yisra'el before יהוה .

BaMidbar Chapter 32
1 Now the B’nei Re'uven and the B’nei Gad had a very great multitude of cattle; and when they saw the land of Yazer, and the land of Gilad, that, behold, the place was a place for cattle, 2 the B’nei Gad and the B’nei Re'uven came and spoke unto Moshe, and to El Azar the kohen, and unto the princes of the assembly, saying, 3 "Atarot, and Divon, and Yazer, and Nimrah, and Kheshbon, and El Aleh, and Sevam, and Nevo, and Be'on, 4 the land which יהוה smote before the assembly of Yisra'el, is a land for cattle, and your servants have cattle." 5 And they said, "If we have found favor in your sight, let this land be given unto your servants for a possession; bring us not over the Yarden." 6 And Moshe said unto the children of Gad and to the children of Re'uven, "Shall your brethren go to the war, and shall you sit here? 7 And therefore will you turn away the heart of B'nei Yisra'el from going over into the land which יהוה has given them? 8 Thus did your fathers, when I sent them from Kadesh Barne'a to see the land. 9 For when they went up unto the valley of Eshkol, and saw the land, they turned away the heart of B'nei Yisra'el, that they should not go into the land which יהוה had given them. 10 And the anger of יהוה was kindled in that day, and He swore, saying, 11 'Surely none of the men that came up out of Mitzrayim, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I swore unto Avraham, unto Yitz'khak, and unto Ya'akov; because they have not wholly followed Me; 12 save Kalev Ben Yefuneh the Kenizi, and Yehoshua Bin Nun; because they have wholly followed יהוה .' And13 the anger of יהוה was kindled against Yisra'el, and He made them wander to and fro in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation, that had done evil in the sight of יהוה , was consumed. 14 And, behold, you are risen up in your fathers' stead, a brood of sinful men, to augment yet the fierce anger of יהוה toward Yisra'el. 15 For if you turn away from after Him, He will yet again leave them in the wilderness; and so you will destroy all this people." 16 And they came near unto him, and said, "We will build sheepfolds here for our cattle, and cities for our little ones; 17 but we ourselves will be ready, armed to go before B'nei Yisra'el, until we have brought them unto their place; and our little ones shall dwell in the fortified cities because of the inhabitants of the land. 18 We will not return unto our houses, until B'nei Yisra'el have inherited every man his inheritance. 19 For we will not inherit with them on the other side of the Yarden, and forward, because our inheritance is fallen to us on this side of the Yarden eastward."
20 And Moshe said unto them, "If you will do this thing: if you will arm yourselves to go before יהוה to the war, 21 and every armed man of you will pass over the Yarden before יהוה , until He has driven out His enemies from before Him, 22 and the land is subdued before יהוה , and you return afterward, then you shall be clear before יהוה , and before Yisra'el, and this land shall be unto you for a possession before יהוה . But23 if you will not do so, behold, you have sinned against יהוה ; and know your sin which will find you. 24 Build cities for your little ones, and folds for your sheep; and do that which has proceeded out of your mouth."
25 And the children of Gad and the children of Re'uven spoke unto Moshe, saying, "your servants will do as My Adon commands. 26 Our little ones, our wives, our flocks, and all our cattle, shall be there in the cities of Gilad; 27 but your servants will pass over, every man that is armed for war, before יהוה to battle, as My Adon says." 28 So Moshe gave charge concerning them to El Azar the kohen, and to Yehoshua Bin Nun, and to the heads of the fathers' houses of the tribes of B'nei Yisra'el. 29 And Moshe said unto them, "If the children of Gad and the children of Re'uven will pass with you over the Yarden, every man that is armed to battle, before יהוה , and the land shall be subdued before you, then you shall give them the land of Gilad for a possession; 30 but if they will not pass over with you armed, they shall have possessions among you in the land of Kena'an." 31 And the children of Gad and the children of Re'uven answered, saying, "As יהוה has said unto your servants, so will we do. 32 We will pass over armed before יהוה into the land of Kena'an, and the possession of our inheritance shall remain with us beyond the Yarden." 33 And Moshe gave unto them, even to the children of Gad, and to the children of Re'uven, and unto half of the tribe of Menasheh Ben Yosef, the kingdom of Sikhon king of the Amori, and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, the land, according to the cities thereof with their borders, even the cities of the land round about. 34 And the children of Gad built Divon, and Atarot, and Aro'er; 35 and Atrot-shofan, and Yazer, and Yogbe'ah; 36 and Beit Nimrah, and Beit Haran; fortified cities, and folds for sheep. 37 And the children of Re'uven built Kheshbon, and El Aleh, and Kiriyatayim; 38 and Nevo, and Ba'al-meon, their names being changed, and Sibmah; and gave their names unto the cities which they builded. 39 And the children of Makhir Ben Menasheh went to Gilad, and took it, and dispossessed the Amori that were therein. 40 And Moshe gave Gilad unto Makhir Ben Menasheh; and he dwelt therein. 41 And Ya'ir Ben Menasheh went and took the villages thereof, and called them Havot Ya'ir. 42 And Novakh went and took Kenat, and the villages thereof, and called it Novakh, after his own name.

BaMidbar Chapter 33
1 These are the stages of B'nei Yisra'el, by which they went forth out of the land of Mitzrayim by their hosts under the hand of Moshe and Aharon. 2 And Moshe wrote their goings forth, stage by stage, by the direction of יהוה ; and these are their stages at their goings forth.
3 And they journeyed from Ra'amses in the first khodesh, on the fifteenth day of the first khodesh; on the morrow after the Pesakh, B'nei Yisra'el went out with a high hand in the sight of all Mitzrayim, 4 while Mitzrayim were burying them that יהוה had smitten among them, even all their first-born; upon their gods also יהוה executed judgments. 5 And B'nei Yisra'el journeyed from Ra'amses, and pitched in Sukkot. 6 And they journeyed from Sukkot, and pitched in Etam, which is in the edge of the wilderness. 7 And they journeyed from Etam, and turned back unto Pi HaKhirot, which is before Ba'al Tzefon; and they pitched before Migdol. 8 And they journeyed from P'nei HaKhirot, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness; and they went three days' journey in the wilderness of Etam, and pitched in Marah. 9 And they journeyed from Marah, and came unto Elim; and in Elim were twelve springs of water, and seventy palm trees; and they pitched there. 10 And they journeyed from Elim, and pitched by Yam Suf. 11 And they journeyed from Yam Suf, and pitched in the wilderness of Sin. 12 And they journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, and pitched in Dofkah. 13 And they journeyed from Dofkah, and pitched in Alush. 14 And they journeyed from Alush, and pitched in Refidim, where was no water for the people to drink. 15 And they journeyed from Refidim, and pitched in the wilderness of Sinai. 16 And they journeyed from the wilderness of Sinai, and pitched in Kivrot HaTa'avah. 17 And they journeyed from Kivrot HaTa'avah, and pitched in Khatzerot. 18 And they journeyed from Khatzerot, and pitched in Ritmah. 19 And they journeyed from Ritmah, and pitched in Rimon Paretz. 20 And they journeyed from Rimon Paretz, and pitched in Livnah. 21 And they journeyed from Livnah, and pitched in Risah. 22 And they journeyed from Risah, and pitched in Kehelatah. 23 And they journeyed from Kehelatah, and pitched in mount Shafer. 24 And they journeyed from mount Shafer, and pitched in Kharadah. 25 And they journeyed from Kharadah, and pitched in Makhelot. 26 And they journeyed from Makhelot, and pitched in Takhat. 27 And they journeyed from Takhat, and pitched in Terah. 28 And they journeyed from Terah, and pitched in Mitkah. 29 And they journeyed from Mitkah, and pitched in Hashmonah. 30 And they journeyed from Hashmonah, and pitched in Moserot. 31 And they journeyed from Moserot, and pitched in B'nei Ya'akan. 32 And they journeyed from B'nei Ya'akan, and pitched in Khor HaGidgad. 33 And they journeyed from HaGidgad, and pitched in Yatvatah. 34 And they journeyed from Yatvatah, and pitched in Avronah. 35 And they journeyed from Avronah, and pitched in Etzion Gever. 36 And they journeyed from Etzion Gever, and pitched in the wilderness of Tzin, the same is Kadesh. 37 And they journeyed from Kadesh, and pitched in Hor HaHar, in the edge of the land of Edom. 38 And Aharon the kohen went up into Hor HaHar by the direction of יהוה , and died there, in the fortieth year after B'nei Yisra'el were come out of the land of Mitzrayim, in the fifth khodesh, on the first day of the khodesh. 39 And Aharon was a hundred and twenty-three years old when he died in Hor HaHar. 40 And the Kena'ani, the king of Arad, who dwelt in the South in the land of Kena'an, heard of the coming of B'nei Yisra'el. 41 And they journeyed from Hor HaHar, and pitched in Tzalmonah. 42 And they journeyed from Tzalmonah, and pitched in Punon. 43 And they journeyed from Punon, and pitched in Ovot. 44 And they journeyed from Ovot, and pitched in Iye Avarim, in the border of Mo'av. 45 And they journeyed from Iyim, and pitched in Divon Gad. 46 And they journeyed from Divon Gad, and pitched in Almon-divlatayim. 47 And they journeyed from Almon-divlatayim, and pitched in the mountains of Avarim, in front of Nevo. 48 And they journeyed from the mountains of Avarim, and pitched in the plains of Mo'av by the Yarden at Yerekho. 49 And they pitched by the Yarden, from Beit Haishimot even unto Avel-shittim in the plains of Mo'av.
50 And יהוה spoke unto Moshe in the plains of Mo'av by the Yarden at Yerekho, saying, 51 "Speak unto B'nei Yisra'el, and say unto them, 'When you pass over the Yarden into the land of Kena'an, 52 then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their figured stones, and destroy all their molten images, and demolish all their high places. 53 And you shall drive out the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein; for unto you have I given the land to possess it. 54 And you shall inherit the land by lot according to your families, to the more you shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer you shall give the less inheritance; whereever the lot falls to any man, that shall be his; according to the tribes of your fathers shall you inherit. 55 But if you will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then shall those that you let remain of them be as motes in your eyes, and as thorns in your sides, and they shall harass you in the land wherein you dwell. 56 And it shall come to pass, that as I thought to do unto them, so will I do unto you'."

BaMidbar Chapter 34
1 And יהוה spoke unto Moshe, saying, 2 "Command B'nei Yisra'el, and say unto them, 'When you come into the land of Kena'an, this shall be the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Kena'an according to the borders thereof. 3 Thus your south side shall be from the wilderness of Tzin close by the side of Edom, and your south border shall begin at the end of the Salt Sea eastward; 4 and your border shall turn about southward of the ascent of Akrabim, and pass along to Tzin; and the goings out thereof shall be southward of Kadesh Barne'a; and it shall go forth to Hazar-adar, and pass along to Atzmon; 5 and the border shall turn about from Atzmon unto the Brook of Mitzrayim, and the goings out thereof shall be at the Sea. 6 And for the western border, you shall have the Great Sea for a border; this shall be your west border. 7 And this shall be your north border: from the Great Sea you shall mark out your line unto Hor HaHar; 8 from Hor HaHar you shall mark out a line unto the entrance to Khamat; and the goings out of the border shall be at Tzedadah; 9 and the border shall go forth to Zifron, and the goings out thereof shall be at Hazar-enan; this shall be your north border. 10 And you shall mark out your line for the east border from Khatzar Enan to Shefamah; 11 and the border shall go down from Shefamah to Rivlah, on the east side of Ayin; and the border shall go down, and shall strike upon the slope of the sea of Kineret eastward; 12 and the border shall go down to the Yarden, and the goings out thereof shall be at the Salt Sea; this shall be your land according to the borders thereof round about'." 13 And Moshe commanded B'nei Yisra'el, saying, "This is the land wherein you shall receive inheritance by lot, which יהוה has commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to half a tribe; 14 for the tribe of the children of Re'uven according to their fathers' houses, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to their fathers' houses, have received, and half the tribe of Menasheh have received their inheritance; 15 the two tribes and half a tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Yarden at Yerekho eastward, toward the sun-rising."

BaMidbar Chapter 35
1 And יהוה spoke unto Moshe in the plains of Mo'av by the Yarden at Yerekho, saying, 2 "Command B'nei Yisra'el, that they give unto the Levi'im of the inheritance of their possession cities to dwell in; and open land round about the cities shall you give unto the Levi'im. 3 And the cities shall they have to dwell in; and their open land shall be for their cattle, and for their substance, and for all their beasts. 4 And the open land about the cities, which you shall give unto the Levi'im, shall be from the wall of the city and outward a thousand cubits round about. 5 And you shall measure without the city for the east side two thousand cubits, and for the south side two thousand cubits, and for the west side two thousand cubits, and for the north side two thousand cubits, the city being in the midst. This shall be to them the open land about the cities. 6 And the cities which you shall give unto the Levi'im, they shall be the six cities of refuge, which you shall give for the manslayer to flee there; and beside them you shall give forty-two cities. 7 All the cities which you shall give to the Levi'im shall be forty-eight cities: them shall you give with the open land about them. 8 And concerning the cities which you shall give of the possession of B'nei Yisra'el, from the many you shall take many, and from the few you shall take few; each tribe according to its inheritance which it inherits shall give of its cities unto the Levi'im."
9 And יהוה spoke unto Moshe, saying, 10 "Speak unto B'nei Yisra'el, and say unto them, 'When you pass over the Yarden into the land of Kena'an, 11 then you shall appoint cities to be cities of refuge for you, that the manslayer that kills any person through error may flee there. 12 And the cities shall be unto you for refuge from the avenger, that the manslayer dies not, until he stands before the assembly for judgment. 13 And as to the cities which you shall give, there shall be for you six cities of refuge. 14 You shall give three cities beyond the Yarden, and three cities shall you give in the land of Kena'an; they shall be cities of refuge. 15 For B'nei Yisra'el, and for the stranger and for the settler among them, shall these six cities be for refuge, that every one that kills any person through error may flee there. 16 But if he smote him with an instrument of iron, so that he died, he is a murderer; the murderer shall surely be put to death. 17 And if he smote him with a stone in the hand, whereby a man may die, and he died, he is a murderer; the murderer shall surely be put to death. 18 Or if he smote him with a weapon of wood in the hand, whereby a man may die, and he died, he is a murderer; the murderer shall surely be put to death. 19 The avenger of blood shall himself put the murderer to death; when he meets him, he shall put him to death. 20 And if he thrusts him of hatred, or hurled at him any thing, lying in wait, so that he died; 21 or in enmity smote him with his hand, that he died, he that smote him shall surely be put to death: he is a murderer; the avenger of blood shall put the murderer to death when he meets him. 22 But if he thrusts him suddenly without enmity, or hurled upon him any thing without lying in wait, 23 or with any stone, whereby a man may die, seeing him not, and cast it upon him, so that he died, and he was not his enemy, neither sought his harm; 24 then the assembly shall judge between the smiter and the avenger of blood according to these Mishpatim; 25 and the assembly shall deliver the manslayer out of the hand of the avenger of blood, and the assembly shall restore him to his city of refuge, where he was fled; and he shall dwell therein until the death of The Kohen HaGadol who was anointed with the consecrated oil. 26 But if the manslayer shall at any time go beyond the border of his city of refuge, where he flees, 27 and the avenger of blood finds him without the border of his city of refuge, and the avenger of blood slays the manslayer; there shall be no bloodguiltiness for him; 28 because he must remain in his city of refuge until the death of The Kohen HaGadol; but after the death of The Kohen HaGadol, the manslayer may return into the land of his possession. 29 And these things shall be for a statute of judgment unto you throughout your generations in all your dwellings. 30 Whoever kills any person, the murderer shall be slain at the mouth of witnesses; but one witness shall not testify against any person that he dies. 31 Moreover, you shall take no ransom for the life of a murderer, that is guilty of death; but he shall surely be put to death. 32 And you shall take no ransom for him that is fled to his city of refuge, that he should come again to dwell in the land, until the death of the kohen. 33 So you shall not pollute the land wherein you are; for blood, it pollutes the land; and no expiation can be made for the land for the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it. 34 And you shall not defile the land which you inhabit, in the midst of which I dwell; for I, יהוה , dwell in the midst of B'nei Yisra'el'."

BaMidbar Chapter 36
1 And the heads of the fathers' houses of the family of the children of Gilad, the son of Makhir, the son of Menasheh, of the families of the sons of Yosef, came near, and spoke before Moshe, and before the princes, the heads of the fathers' houses of B'nei Yisra'el; 2 and they said, " יהוה commanded my Adon to give the land for inheritance by lot to B'nei Yisra'el; and my Adon was commanded by יהוה to give the inheritance of Tzelolefad our brother unto his daughters. 3 And if they are married to any of the sons of the other tribes of B'nei Yisra'el, then will their inheritance be taken away from the inheritance of our fathers, and will be added to the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they shall belong; so will it be taken away from the lot of our inheritance. 4 And when the Yovel of B'nei Yisra'el shall be, then will their inheritance be added unto the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they shall belong; so will their inheritance be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers." 5 And Moshe commanded B'nei Yisra'el according to the direction of יהוה , saying, "The tribe of the sons of Yosef speaks right. 6 This is the thing which יהוה has commanded concerning the daughters of Tzelolefad, saying, 'Let them be married to whom they think best; only into the family of the tribe of their father shall they be married. 7 So shall no inheritance of B'nei Yisra'el remove from tribe to tribe; for B'nei Yisra'el shall cleave every one to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers. 8 And every daughter, that possesses an inheritance in any tribe of B'nei Yisra'el, shall be wife unto one of the family of the tribe of her father, that B'nei Yisra'el may possess every man the inheritance of his fathers. 9 So shall no inheritance remove from one tribe to another tribe; for the tribes of B'nei Yisra'el shall cleave each one to its own inheritance'." 10 Even as יהוה commanded Moshe, so did the daughters of Tzelolefad. 11 For Mahlah, Tirtzah, and Hoglah, and Milkah, and No'ah, the daughters of Tzelolefad, were married unto their father's brothers' sons. 12 They were married into the families of the sons of Menasheh the son of Yosef, and their inheritance remained in the tribe of the family of their father. 13 These are the Mitzvot and the Mishpatim, which יהוה commanded by the hand of Moshe unto B'nei Yisra'el in the plains of Mo'av by the Yarden at Yerekho.

HAFTARAH

Yirme-Yahu Chapter 1
1 The words of Yirme-Yahu Ben Khilki-Yahu, of the Kohanim that were in Anatot in the land of Binyamin, 2 to whom the D'var יהוה came in the days of Yoshi-Yahu Ben Amon, Melekh Yehudah, in the thirteenth year of his reign. 3 It came also in the days of Y'hoyakim Ben Yoshi-Yahu, Melekh Yehudah, unto the end of the eleventh year of Tzidki-Yahu Ben Yoshi-Yahu, Melekh Yehudah, unto the carrying away of Yerushalayim captive in the fifth khodesh.
4 And the D'var יהוה came unto me, saying, 5 "Before I formed you in the belly I knew you, and before you came forth out of the womb I set you apart; I have appointed you a Navi unto the nations". 6 Then said I, "Ah, Adonai יהוה ! Behold, I cannot speak; for I am a child." 7 But יהוה said unto me, "Do not say 'I am a child'; for to whomever I shall send you, you shall go, and whatsoever I shall command you, you shall speak. 8 Do not be afraid of them; for I am with you to deliver you, says יהוה ." Then 9 יהוה put forth His hand, and touched my mouth; and יהוה said unto me, "Behold, I have put My words in your mouth; 10 see, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out and to pull down, and to destroy and to overthrow; to build, and to plant."
11 Moreover the D'var יהוה came unto me, saying, "Yirme-Yahu, what do you see?" And I said, "I see a rod of an almond tree." 12 Then יהוה said unto me, "You have seen well; for I watch over D'varai, to perform it." 13 And the D'var יהוה came unto me the second time, saying, "What do you see?" And I said, "I see a seething pot; and the face thereof is from the north." 14 Then יהוה said unto me, "Out of the north the evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land. 15 For, lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, says יהוה ; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entrance of the gates of Yerushalayim, and against all the walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Yehudah. 16 And I will utter My judgments against them touching all their wickedness; in that they have forsaken me, and have offered unto other gods, and worshipped the work of their own hands. 17 You, therefore, gird up your loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command you; do not be dismayed at them, lest I dismay you before them. 18 For, behold, I have made you this day a fortified city, and an iron pillar, and brazen walls, against the whole land, against the kings of Yehudah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land. 19 And they shall fight against you; but they shall not prevail against you; For I am with you, says יהוה , to deliver you."

Yirme-Yahu Chapter 2
1 And the D'var יהוה came to me, saying, 2 "Go, and cry in the ears of Yerushalayim, saying thus says יהוה , 'I remember for you the affection of your youth, the love of your espousals; how you went after Me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown. 3 Yisra'el is the hallowed portion of יהוה , His first-fruits of the increase; all that devour him shall be held guilty, evil shall come upon them', says יהוה ." 4"Hear the D'var יהוה , O Beit Ya'akov, and all the families of Beit Yisra'el. 5 Thus says יהוה , 'What unrighteousness have your fathers found in Me, that they are gone far from Me, and have walked after things of nought, and are become nought? 6 Neither did they say, 'Where is יהוה that brought us up out of the land of Mitzrayim; that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought and of Tzal-Mavet, through a land that no man passed through, and where no man dwelt?' 7 And I brought you into a land of fruitful fields, to eat the fruit thereof and the good thereof; but when you entered, you defiled My land, and made My heritage an abomination. 8 The priests did not say, 'Where is יהוה ?' And they that handle the Torah knew Me not, and the rulers transgressed against Me; the prophets also prophesied by Ba'al, and walked after things that do not profit. 9 Therefore I will yet plead with you', says יהוה , 'and with your children's children will I plead. 10 For, pass over to the isles of the Kiti'im, and see, and send unto Kedar, and consider diligently, and see if there has been such a thing. 11 Has a nation changed its gods, which yet are not gods? But My people has changed its glory for that which does not profit. 12 Be astonished, O you heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be exceedingly amazed', says יהוה . 'For13 My people have committed two evils: they have forsaken Me, the fountain of Mayim Khayim, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water. 14 Is Yisra'el a servant? Is he a home-born slave? Why is he become a prey? 15 The young lions have roared upon him, and let their voice resound; and they have made his land desolate, his cities are laid waste, without inhabitant. 16 The children also of Nof and Takhpankhes feed upon the crown of your head. 17 Is it not this that does cause it unto you, that you have forsaken יהוה your Elohim, when He led you by the way? 18 And now what have you to do in the way to Mitzrayim, to drink the waters of Shikhor? Or what have you to do in the way to Ashur, to drink the waters of the River? 19 Your own wickedness shall correct you, and your backslidings shall reprove you: know, therefore, and see that it is an evil and a bitter thing, that you have forsaken יהוה your Elohim, neither is My fear in you', says Adonai יהוה Tzeva'ot. 20 'For of old time I have broken your yoke, and burst your bands, and you said, 'I will not transgress'; upon every high hill and under every evergreen tree you did recline, playing the harlot. 21 Yet I had planted you a noble vine, wholly a right seed; how then are you turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine unto Me? 22 For though you wash yourself with nitre, and take much soap, yet your iniquity is marked before Me', says Adonai יהוה . 'How23 can you say, 'I am not defiled, I have not gone after the Ba'alim'? See your way in the valley, know what you have done; you are a swift young camel traversing her ways; 24 a wild donkey used to the wilderness, that snuffs up the wind in her desire; her lust, who can hinder it? All they that seek her will not weary themselves; in her khodesh they shall find her. 25 Withhold your foot from being unshod, and your throat from thirst; but you said, 'There is no hope; no, for I have loved strangers, and after them will I go.' 26 As the thief is ashamed when he is found, so is Beit Yisra'el ashamed; they, their kings, their princes, and their priests, and their prophets; 27 who say to a stock, 'You are my father', and to a stone, 'You have brought us forth', for they have turned their back unto Me, and not their face; but in the time of their trouble they will say, 'Arise, and save us'. 28 But where are your gods that you have made you? Let them arise, if they can save you in the time of your trouble; for according to the number of your cities are your gods, O Yehudah. 29 Why will you contend with Me? You all have transgressed against Me', says יהוה . 'In30 vain have I smitten your children; they received no correction; your sword has devoured your prophets, like a destroying lion. 31 O generation, see the D'var יהוה . Have I been a wilderness unto Yisra'el? Or a land of thick darkness? Why do My people say, 'We roam at large; we will come no more unto You'? 32 Can a maid forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? Yet My people have forgotten Me for days without number. 33 How do you trim your way to seek love! Therefore, even the wicked women have you taught your ways; 34 also, in your skirts is found the blood of the souls of the innocent poor; you did not find them breaking in; yet for all these things 35 you said, 'I am innocent; surely His anger is turned away from me'; behold, I will enter into judgment with you, because you say, 'I have not sinned'. 36 How greatly do you cheapen yourself to change your way? You shall be ashamed of Mitzrayim also, as you were ashamed of Ashur. 37 From him also shall you go forth, with your hands upon your head; for יהוה has rejected them in whom you did trust, and you shall not prosper in them'."

Yirme-Yahu Chapter 3
1 "To say, 'If a man puts away his wife, and she goes from him, and becomes another man's, may he return unto her again', will that land not be greatly polluted? But you have played the harlot with many lovers; and would you yet return to Me?" says יהוה . "Lift2 up your eyes unto the high hills, and see: where have you not been lain with? By the ways have you sat for them, as an Aravi in the wilderness; and you have polluted the land with your harlotries and with your wickedness. 3 Therefore the showers have been withheld, and there has been no latter rain; yet you had a harlot's forehead, you refused to be ashamed. 4 Did you not just now cry unto Me, 'My father, You are the friend of my youth? 5 Will He bear grudge forever? Will He keep it to the end?' Behold, you have spoken, but have done evil things, and have had your way."
6 And יהוה said unto me in the days of Yoshi-Yahu HaMelekh, "Have you seen that which backsliding Yisra'el did? She went up upon every high mountain and under every evergreen tree, and there played the harlot. 7 And I said that after she has done all these things, she will return unto me; but she returned not. And her treacherous sister Yehudah saw it. 8 And I saw, when, forasmuch as backsliding Yisra'el had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a bill of divorcement, that yet treacherous Yehudah her sister feared not; but she also went and played the harlot; 9 and it came to pass through the lightness of her harlotry, that the land was polluted, and she committed adultery with stones and with stocks; 10 and yet for all this her treacherous sister Yehudah has not returned unto Me with her whole heart, but feignedly", says יהוה , even11 יהוה said unto me, "Backsliding Yisra'el has proved herself more righteous than treacherous Yehudah. 12 Go, and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, 'Return, backsliding Yisra'el, says יהוה ; I will not frown upon you; for I am merciful, says יהוה , I will not bear grudge forever. 13 Only acknowledge your iniquity, that you have transgressed against יהוה your Elohim, and have scattered your ways to the strangers under every evergreen tree, and you have not hearkened to My voice, says יהוה . Return 14, O backsliding children, says יהוה ; for I am a husband unto you, and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Tzion; 15 and I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. 16 And it shall come to pass, when you are multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, says יהוה , they shall say no more, 'HaAron Brit יהוה '; neither shall it come to mind; neither shall they make mention of it; neither shall they miss it; neither shall it be made any more. 17 At that time they shall call Yerushalayim "Kiseh יהוה "; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the Name of יהוה , to Yerushalayim; neither shall they walk any more after the stubbornness of their evil heart. 18 In those days Beit Yehudah shall walk with Beit Yisra'el, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers'.
19 "But I said, how would I put you among the sons, and give you a pleasant land, the goodliest heritage of the nations! And I said, you shall call Me, 'Avi'; and shall not turn away from following Me. 20 Surely as a wife treacherously departs from her husband, so have you dealt treacherously with Me, O Beit Yisra'el", says יהוה . "Hark! 21 Upon the high hills is heard the supplicant weeping of B'nei Yisra'el; for that they have perverted their way, they have forgotten יהוה their Elohim. 22 Return, you backsliding children, I will heal your backslidings. 'Here we are, we are come unto You; for You are יהוה Our Elohim. 23 Truly vain have proven the hills, the uproar on the mountains; truly in יהוה our Elohim is the Salvation of Yisra'el. 24 But the shameful thing has devoured the labor of our fathers from our youth; their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters. 25 Let us lie down in our shame, and let our confusion cover us; for we have sinned against יהוה our Elohim, we and our fathers, from our youth even unto this day; and we have not hearkened to the voice of יהוה our Elohim'."

Yirme-Yahu Chapter 4
1 "If you will return, O Yisra'el", says יהוה , "yes, return unto Me; and if you will put away your detestable things out of My sight, and will not waver, 2 and will swear, 'As יהוה lives in truth, in justice, and in righteousness', then shall the nations bless themselves by Him, and in Him shall they glory. end Masei 3 For thus says יהוה to the men of Yehudah and to Yerushalayim, 'Break up for you a fallow ground, and sow not among thorns. 4 Circumcise yourselves to יהוה , and take away the foreskins of your heart, you men of Yehudah and inhabitants of Yerushalayim; lest My fury goes forth like fire, and burns, that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings. 5 Declare in Yehudah, and publish in Yerushalayim, and say, 'Blast the shofar in the land'; cry aloud and say, 'Assemble yourselves, and let us go into the fortified cities'. 6 Set up a standard toward Tzion; put yourselves under cover, stay not; for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction. 7 A lion is gone up from his thicket, and a destroyer of nations is set out, gone forth from his place; to make your land desolate, that your cities shall be laid waste, without inhabitant. 8 For this, gird yourself with sackcloth, lament and wail; for the fierce anger of יהוה is not turned back from us'."
9 "And it shall come to pass at that day", says יהוה , "that the heart of the king shall fail, and the heart of the princes; and the priests shall be astonished, and the prophets shall wonder." 10 Then said I, "Ah, Adonai יהוה ! Surely You have greatly deceived this people and Yerushalayim, saying, 'You shall have shalom; whereas the sword reaches unto the soul'." 11 At that time shall it be said of this people and of Yerushalayim, 'A hot wind of the high hills in the wilderness toward the daughter of My people, not to fan, nor to cleanse; 12 a wind too strong for this shall come for Me; now will I also utter judgments against them. 13 Behold, he comes up as clouds, and his chariots are as the whirlwind; his horses are swifter than eagles."
"'Woe unto us! for we are undone.'"
14 "O Yerushalayim, wash your heart from wickedness, that you may be saved. How long shall your baleful thoughts lodge within you? 15 For hark! One declares from Dan, and announces calamity from the hills of Efrayim, 16 'Make mention to the nations! Behold, publish concerning Yerushalayim! Watchers come from a far country, and give out their voice against the cities of Yehudah'. 17 As keepers of a field are they against her round about; because she has been rebellious against Me", says יהוה . "Your 18 way and your doings have procured these things unto you; this is your wickedness; yes, it is bitter, yes, it reaches unto your heart."
19 "My bowels, my bowels! I writhe in pain! The chambers of my heart! My heart moans within me! I cannot hold my peace! Because you have heard, O my soul, the voice of the shofar, the alarm of war. 20 Destruction follows upon destruction, for the whole land is spoiled; suddenly are my tents spoiled, my curtains in a moment. 21 How long shall I see the standard, shall I hear the sound of the shofar?"
22 "For My people is foolish, they know Me not; they are sottish children, and they have no understanding; they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge. 23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was waste and void; and the heavens, and they had no light. 24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved to and fro. 25 I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled. 26 I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful field was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the Presence of יהוה , and before His fierce anger. 27 For thus says יהוה , 'The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end'. 28 For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be dark; because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and I have not repented, neither will I turn back from it. 29 For the noise of the horsemen and bowmen the whole city flees; they go into the thickets, and climb up upon the rocks; every city is forsaken, and not a man dwells therein. 30 And you, that are spoiled, what do you do, that you clothe yourself with scarlet, that you deck yourself with ornaments of gold, that you enlarge your eyes with paint? In vain do you make yourself fair; your lovers despise you, they seek your life. 31 For I have heard a voice as of a woman in travail, the anguish as of her that brings forth her first child, the voice of Bat-Tzion, that gasps for breath, that spreads her hands, 'Woe is me, now! For my soul faints before the murderers'."

KETUVIM

Tehillah (Psalm) 111
1 Hallelu Yah! I will give thanks unto יהוה with my whole heart, in the council of the
upright, and in the assembly. 2 The works of יהוה are great, sought out of all them that have delight therein. 3 His work is glory and majesty; and His tzedaka endures forever.
4 He has made a memorial for His wonderful works; יהוה is gracious and full of mercy.
5 He has given food unto them that fear Him; He will ever be mindful of His Brit. 6 He has declared to His people the power of His works, in giving them the heritage of the goyim.
7 The works of His hands are truth and justice; all His precepts are sure. 8They are established forever and ever, they are done in truth and uprightness. 9He has sent redemption unto His people; He has commanded His Brit forever;
Kadosh and Norah is His Name. 10 The fear of יהוה is the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding have all they that do thereafter; His praise endures forever.

Tehillah (Psalm) 49
1 For the Leader; a Mizmor for the sons of Korakh. 2 Hear this, all you peoples; give ear, all you inhabitants of the world, 3 Both low and high, rich and poor together. 4 My mouth shall speak wisdom, and the meditation of my heart shall be understanding. 5 I will incline my ear to a mashal; I will open my dark saying upon the Kinor. 6 Why should I fear in the days of evil, when the iniquity of my supplanters ecompasses me, 7 Of them that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches? 8 No man can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to Elohim an atonement for him; 9 For too costly is the redemption of their soul, and must be let alone forever. 10 That he should still live always, that he should not see the pit. 11 For he sees that wise men die, the fool and the brutish together perish, and leave their wealth to others. 12 Their inward thought is that their houses shall continue forever, and their dwelling-places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names. 13 But man abides not in honor; he is like the beasts that perish. 14 This is the way of them that are foolish, and of those who after them approve their sayings. Selah.
15 Like sheep they are appointed for She'ol; death shall be their shepherd; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their form shall be for She'ol to wear away, that there may be no habitation for it. 16 But Elohim will redeem my soul from the power of She'ol; for He shall receive me. Selah.
17 Be not afraid when one waxes rich, when the wealth of his house is increased; 18 For when he dies he shall carry nothing away; his wealth shall not descend after him. 19 Though while he lived he blessed his soul, "Men will praise you, when you shall do well to yourself," 20 It shall go to the generation of his fathers; they shall never see the light.
21 Man that is in honor understands not; he is like the beasts that perish.

Matti Chapter 5
33 "Again, you have heard it was said to them who were before you that you shall not lie in your oaths, but trust your oaths to יהוה . But 34 I say to you, never swear; neither by heaven, because it is the throne of Elohim; 35 nor by the earth, for it is a stool under His feet; nor by Yerushalayim, for it is the city of a great king. 36 Neither shall you swear by your own head, because you cannot create in it a single black or white hair. 37 But let your words be yes, yes, and no, no; for anything which adds to these is evil."

Matti Chapter 23
1 Then Yeshua spoke with the people and with His Talmidim. 2 And He said to them, “The Sofrim and the P'rushim sit on the Seat of Moshe. 3 Therefore, whatever they tell you to obey, obey and do it, but do not do according to their works; for they say and do not. 4 And they bind heavy burdens, and put them on men’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to touch them, even with their finger. 5 And all their works they do just to be seen by men; for they make grandiose prayers, and they lengthen the tekhelet of their robes, 6 and they like the chief places at feasts, and the front seats in the Beit K'nessets, 7 and the greetings in the streets, and to be called by men, ‘Rabbi.' 8 But you, do not be called, ‘Rabbi;' for one is your Rabbi, and all of you are brethren. 9 And call no one on earth, ‘Father,' for one is Avikhem in Heaven. 10 Nor be called leaders, for one is your leader, the Mashi'akh. 11 But he who is greatest among you, let him be your servant. 12 For whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted.”
13 “Woe to you, Sofrim and P'rushim, you hypocrites! For you consume the houses of widows, and with pretense you make long prayers; because of this you shall receive a greater judgment. 14 Woe to you, Sofrim and P'rushim, you hypocrites! For you have shut off Malkhut HaShamayim against men; for you do not enter into it yourselves, and do not permit those who would enter. 15 Woe to you, Sofrim and P'rushim, you hypocrites! For you traverse sea and land to make one proselyte; and when he becomes one, you make him the son of Gehinom twice more than yourselves. 16 Woe to you, blind guides, for you say, ‘Whoever swears by the Heikhal, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold which is in the Heikhal, he is guilty!' 17 O you fools and blind! For which is greater, the gold, or the Heikhal that consecrates the gold? 18 And 'Whoever swears by the Mizbe'akh, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the offering that is on it, he is guilty'. 19 O you fools and blind! For which is greater, the offering, or the Mizbe'akh that consecrates the offering? 20 Therefore he who swears by the Mizbe'akh, he swears by it and by everything that is on it. 21 And whoever swears by the Heikhal, swears by it and by Him who dwells in it. 22 And he who swears by Heaven swears by the Throne of Elohim, and by Him who sits on it. 23 Woe to you, Sofrim and P'rushim, you hypocrites! For you take tenth-parts on mint, dill, and cummin, and you have overlooked the more important matters of the Torah, such as justice, compassion, and absolute trust. These were necessary for you to have done, without having left the others undone. 24 O blind guides, who strain at gnats and swallow camels! 25 Woe to you, Sofrim and P'rushim, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside they are full of extortion and iniquity. 26 Blind P'rushim! Clean first the inside of the cup and of the dish, so that their outside may also be clean. 27 Woe to you, Sofrim and P'rushim, you hypocrites! For you are like tombs painted white, which look beautiful from the outside, but inside are full of dead bones and all kinds of corruption. 28 Even so, from the outside you appear to men to be Tzadikim, but from within you are full of iniquity and hypocrisy. 29 Woe to you, Sofrim and P'rushim, you hypocrites! For you build the tombs of the Nevi'im, and you decorate the graves of HaTzadikim; 30 and you say, ‘If we had been living in the days of our forefathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the Nevi'im.' 31 Now you testify concerning yourselves that you are the children of those who killed the Nevi'im. 32 You also fill up the measure of your fathers. 33 O you serpents, and seed of scorpions! How can you flee from the judgment of Gehinom?”
34 “Because of this, I am sending to you Nevi'im and wise men and Sofrim; some of them you will kill, and you will execute them on stakes; and some you will scourge in your Beit K'nessets, and pursue them from city to city, 35 so that all the blood of the Tzadikim shed on the ground may come on you, from the blood of Avel HaTzadik down to the blood of Zakhar-Yah Ben Berekh-Yah, whom you killed between the Heikhal and the Mizbe'akh. 36 Truly I say to you, all of these things shall come upon this generation. 37 O Yerushalayim, Yerushalayim, murderess of the Nevi'im, and stoner of those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather together your children, just as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and yet you would not! 38 Behold, your house will be left to you desolate. 39 For I say to you, from now you will not see me until you say, ‘Barukh HaBa B'Shem יהוה .'”

Matti Chapter 24
1 And Yeshua went out of the Heikhal to go away; and His Talmidim came up to Him, and were showing Him the building of the Heikhal. 2 But He said to them, “Behold, do you not see all of these? Truly I say to you, not a stone shall be left here upon a stone, which will not be torn down.”
3 While Yeshua sat on Har HaZetim, His Talmidim came up talking among themselves, and they said to Him, “Tell us when these things will happen, and what is the sign of your coming, and of the end of the world?” 4 Yeshua answered and said to them, “Be careful that no man deceives you. 5 For many will come in my Name and say that I am the Mashi'akh, and they will deceive many. 6 You are bound to hear of revolutions and rumors of wars; look out and do not be disturbed; for all of these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines and plagues and earthquakes in different places. 8 But all these things are just the beginning of travail. 9 Then they will deliver you over to be oppressed, and they will kill you; and you will be hated by all nations for my Name’s sake. 10 Then many will stumble, and they will hate one another, and betray one another. 11 And many false prophets will rise, and will mislead a great many. 12 And because of the growth of iniquity, the love of many will become cold. 13 But he who has patience to the end, he will live. 14 And this B'sorah of HaMalkhut shall be declared throughout the world as a testimony to all the goyim; then the end will come. 15 When you see the sign of the uncleanness of desolation, as spoken by the Navi Dani'el, standing in the M'kom Kadosh, whoever reads it will understand it. 16 Then let those who are in Y’hudah flee to the mountain, 17 and he who is on the roof, let him not come down to take things out of his house. 18 And he who is in the field, let him not return back to take his clothes. 19 But woe to those who are with child, and to those who nurse in those days! 20 Pray that your flight may not be in winter, nor on Shabbat. 21 For then will be great tribulation, such as has never happened from the beginning of the world until now, and never will be again. 22 And if those days were not shortened, no flesh would live; but for the sake of the chosen ones those days will be shortened. 23 Then if any man should say to you, ‘Behold, here is the Mashi'akh!', or ‘There!', do not believe it. 24 For there will rise false messiahs and lying prophets, and they will show signs and great wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones. 25 Behold, I have told you in advance. 26 Therefore, if they should say to you, ‘Behold, He is in the desert,' do not go out; or, ‘behold, He is in these rooms,' do not believe it. 27 For just as the lightning comes out from the east, and is seen even in the west, so will be the coming of Ben HaAdam. 28 For wherever the Guf is, there will the eagles gather.”
29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give her light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then the sign of Ben HaAdam will appear in the sky; and then all the generations of the earth will mourn, and they will see Ben HaAdam coming on the clouds of the sky, with an army, and great glory. 31 And He will send His Malakhim with the Shofar HaGadol, and they will gather His chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.”
32 ”From the fig tree learn a mashal. As soon as its branches become tender and bring forth leaves, you know that summer is coming. 33 So even you, when you see all these things, know that it has arrived at the gate. 34 Truly I say to you, that this generation will not pass away, until all these things happen. 35 Even heaven and earth will pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”
36 “But concerning that day and that hour, no man knows, not even the Malakhim of heaven, but HaAv alone. 37 Just as in the days of No'akh, so will be the coming of Ben HaAdam. 38 For as the people before the flood were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day No'akh entered into the ark, 39 and they knew nothing until the flood came and carried them all away, such will be the coming of Ben HaAdam. 40 Then, two men will be in the field, one will be taken away and the other forsaken. 41 Two women will be grinding at the handmill, one will be taken and the other forsaken.
42 “Be alert, therefore, for you do not know at what hour your Adon will come. 43 But know this much, that if the adon of the house knew at what watch of the night the thief comes, he would keep awake and would not let his house be plundered. 44 For this reason, you also be ready, for Ben HaAdam will come at an hour when you do not expect him. 45 Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his Adon has appointed over his household, to give them food in due time? 46 Blessed is that servant, when his Adon comes and finds him so doing. 47 Truly I say to you, he will appoint him over all that he has. 48 But if a bad servant should say in his heart, ‘My Adon will delay his coming,' 49 and he begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with drunkards, 50 HaAdon of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect, and at an hour that he does not know. 51 And he will severely scourge him, and give him a portion like that of the hypocrites; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

Matti Chapter 25
1 “Then, Malkhut HaShamayim will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out for the meeting of the bridegroom and the bride. 2 Five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 And the foolish ones took their lamps, but took no oil with them. 4 But the wise ones took oil in the vessels with their lamps. 5 As the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. 6 And at midnight there was a cry, ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to greet him!' 7 Then all the virgins got up and fixed their lamps. 8 And the foolish ones said to the wise ones, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.' 9 Then the wise ones answered and said, ‘Why, there would not be enough for us and for you; go to those who sell and buy for yourselves.' 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and those who were ready entered with him into the wedding house, and the door was locked. 11 Afterward the other virgins also came and said, ‘Adoneinu, Adoneinu, open to us!' 12 But he answered and said to them, ‘Truly I say to you, I do not know you.' 13 Be alert, therefore, for you do not know that day nor that hour.”
14 “It is just like a man who went on a journey, who called his servants and put his wealth in their charge. 15 To one he gave five talents, to one two, to another one; to each one according to his ability; and immediately he went on a journey. 16 The one who received five talents then went and traded with them, and he earned five others. 17 Likewise the second one, he gained by trading and earned two others. 18 But he who received one went and dug in the ground and hid his Adon's money. 19 After a long time, the Adon of those servants returned, and took an accounting from them. 20 Then the one who received five talents came up and offered five others, and he said, ‘My Adon, you gave me five talents; behold, I have added five others to them.' 21 His Adon said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a little, I will appoint you over much; enter into your Adon’s joy.' 22 Then the one with the two talents came and he said, ‘My Adon, you gave me two talents, behold I have added two others to them.' 23 His Adon said to him, ‘Well done, good and reliable servant, you have been faithful over a little, I will appoint you over much; enter into your Adon’s joy.' 24 Then the one who received one talent also came up, and he said, ‘My Adon, I knew that you are a hard man, and you reap where you did not sow, and gather where you did not scatter. 25 So I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground; here it is, it is your own one.' 26 His Adon answered and said to him, ‘O wicked and lazy servant, you knew me, that I reap where I did not sow, and I gather where I did not scatter. 27 You should then have put my money in the exchange, and when I returned I would have demanded my own with interest. 28 Therefore take away the talent from him, and give it to the one who has ten talents. 29 For to him who has, it shall be given, and it shall increase to him; but he who has not, even that which he has shall be taken away from him.' 30 And the idle servant they threw into the outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
31 ”When Ben HaAdam comes in His glory, and all His Kadosh Malakhim with Him, then He will sit upon the throne of His glory. 32 And all nations will gather before Him; and He will separate them one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; 33 and He will set the sheep at His right, and the goats at His left. 34 Then the King will say to those at His right, ‘Come, you blessed of Avi, inherit the kingdom which has been prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35 For I was hungry, and you gave me to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me to drink; I was a stranger and you took me in; 36 I was naked, and you covered me; I was sick, and you visited me; I was in prison, and you came to me.' 37 Then the Tzadikim will say to him, ‘Adoneinu, when did we see you hungry, and feed you, or thirsty and gave you drink? 38 And when did we see you a stranger, and took you in? Or that you were naked, and covered you? 39 And when did we see you sick, or in the prison, and come to you?' 4 0The King then will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I tell you, inasmuch as you have done it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.' 41 Then he will also say to those at his left, ‘Go away from me, you cursed, to the everlasting fire, which is prepared for the adversary and his messengers. 42 For I was hungry, and you did not give me to eat; I was thirsty, and you did not give me to drink; 43 I was a stranger, and you did not take me in; I was naked, and you did not cover me; I was sick and in prison and you did not visit me.' 44 Then they also will answer and say, ‘Adoneinu, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick or in the prison, and did not minister to you?' 45 Then he will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you also did not do it to me.' 46 And these shall go into everlasting torment, and the Tzadikim into Khayei Olam.”

Ya'akov Chapter 4
1 From where do conflicts and quarrels among you come? Is it not from the lusts that war in your members? 2 You covet and do not obtain; you kill and envy, but you cannot possess; you strive and fight, yet you have nothing, because you do not ask. 3 You ask and you do not receive because you do not ask sincerely; you ask that you may satisfy your lusts. 4 O you adulterers! Do you not know that the love for worldly things is enmity with Elohim? Whoever, therefore, esteems worldly things is the enemy of Elohim. 5 Or do you think that the scripture says in vain, "HaRu'akh that dwells in us is provoked by jealousy?" 6 But Adoneinu has given us abundant grace. Therefore he said, "Elohim humbles the proud, but gives grace to the humble." 7 Submit yourselves, therefore, to Elohim. Resist HaSatan, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to Elohim, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, O you sinners! And purify your hearts, O you of doubtful mind! 9 Humble yourselves and mourn; let your laughter be turned to weeping and your joy to sorrow. 10 Humble yourselves before יהוה and He will lift you up.
11 Do not speak against one another, my brethren, for he who speaks against his brother and judges his brother, speaks against the Torah and judges the Torah; but if you judge the Torah, you are not a doer of the Torah, but a judge of it. 12 For there is one giver of Torah and one judge, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge your neighbor?
