MORNING PRAYERS

Kḥasdei יהוה ki lo tamnu, ki lo kḥalu rakḥamav.

Kḥadashim labekarim, rabbah emunatekḥa.

Surely the mercies of יהוה are not used up, surely His compassions will not fail. They are new every morning; Your faithfulness is great.  (Eikha (Lamentations) 3:22-23)

The earth is יהוה ’s, with all that is in it, the world, and those who live there; for He set its foundations on the seas and established it on the rivers. Who may go up to the mountain of יהוה ? Who can stand in His Holy place? Those with clean hands and a pure heart, who do not make vanities the purpose of their lives, or swear oaths just to deceive. (Tehillah (Psalms) 24:1-4)

Vayomer יהוה, el Moshe l’mor.

G’dilim, ta’aseh lakḥ, al arbah kanfot k’sutekḥa, asher t’kḥaseh bah.

יהוה said to Moshe, “Speak to the children of Yisra’el, instructing them to make, through all their generations, a tzit-tzit on the corners of their garments, and to put with the tzit-tzit on each corner a thread of tekḥelet. It is to be a tzit-tzit for you to look at and thereby remember all of יהוה ’s mitzvot and obey them, so that you will not go around where your own heart and eyes lead you to prostitute yourselves; but it will help you remember and obey all my mitzvot and be holy for your Elohim.

I am יהוה your Elohim, who brought you out of Mitzrayim to be your Elohim. I am יהוה your Elohim. You are to make for yourself twisted cords on the four corners of the garment you wrap around yourself.” (BaMidbar (Numbers) 15:38-41, D’Varim (Deuteronomy) 22:12)

How precious is Your lovingkindness, O Elohim! and the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. They are abundantly satisfied with the plenty of Your house; and You make them drink of the river of Your pleasures. For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light do we see light. O continue Your lovingkindness unto them that know You; and Your righteousness to the upright in heart. (Tehillah (Psalms) 36:8-11)

A Tehillah of thanksgiving.  Shout unto יהוה , all the earth.  Serve יהוה with gladness; come before His presence with singing. Know that יהוה is Elohim; It is He that made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people, and the flock of His pasture.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise; give thanks to Him, and bless His Name.  For יהוה is good; His mercy endures forever, and His faithfulness throughout all generations. (Tehillah (Psalms) 100:1-5)

Avinu Sh’bah Shamayim (Our Father in Heaven), may Your Name be made Kadosh (Holy). May Your Kingdom come. May Your will be done, as in Heaven, so on earth. Give us the bread we need today. And forgive us our offenses, as we have forgiven our offenders; And do not lead us into the power of testing, but deliver us from the Evil One. Because Yours is HaMalkhut (The Kingdom), and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amein.’ (Matti (Matthew) 6:9-13)

Recognizing the need of forgiveness and imparted innocence from יהוה, and our attainment of it through Messiah Yeshua’s shed blood.

The fear of יהוה is the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding have all they that do thereafter; His praise endures forever. (Tehillim (Psalms) 111.:10) But He, being full of mercy, forgives iniquity, and destroys not; yes, often does He turn His anger away, and does not stir up all His wrath. (Tehillim (Psalms) 78:38) If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in darkness, we lie and do not follow the truth; but if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Yeshua, His Son, cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all our iniquity. (Yokhanan Alef (1st John) 1:6-9)

Praise; of David.  I will extol You, Elohai, O King; and I will bless Your Name forever and ever.  Every day will I bless You; and I will praise Your Name forever and ever.  Great is יהוה , and highly to be praised; and His greatness is unsearchable.  One generation shall laud Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts.

The glorious splendor of Your majesty, and Your wondrous works, will I rehearse.  And men shall speak of the might of Your tremendous acts; and I will tell of Your greatness.

They shall utter the fame of Your great goodness, and shall sing of Your righteousness. יהוה is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.  יהוה is good to all; and His tender mercies are over all His works.

All Your works shall praise You, O יהוה; and Your saints shall bless You.  They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom, and talk of Your might;  to make known to the sons of men His mighty acts, and the glory of the majesty of His kingdom.

Your kingdom is a kingdom for all ages, and Your dominion endures throughout all generations.  יהוה upholds all that fall, and raises up all those that are bowed down.

The eyes of all wait for You, and You give them their food in due season.  You open Your hand, and satisfy every living thing with favor.  יהוה is righteous in all His ways, and gracious in all His works.

יהוה is nigh unto all them that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth.  He will fulfill the desire of them that fear Him; He also will hear their cry, and will save them.

יהוה preserves all them that love Him; but all the wicked will He destroy.  My mouth shall speak the praise of יהוה, and let all flesh bless His holy name forever and ever.

Hear, O Yisra’el: יהוה is our Elohim, יהוה is one.

And you shall love  יהוה  your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.  And these words, which I command you this day, shall be upon your heart;  and you shall impress them upon your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.  And you shall bind them for a sign upon your hand, and they shall be for frontlets between your eyes.  And you shall write them upon the door-posts of your house, and upon your gates.
(D’varim (Deuteronomy) 6:4-9)

And you shall love your neighbor as yourself. (VaYikra (Leviticus)19:18b)

“And it shall come to pass, if you shall hearken diligently unto My Commandments which I command you this day, to love  יהוה  your Elohim, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul, that I will give the rain of your land in its season, the former rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, and your choice wine, and your oil.  And I will give grass in your fields for your cattle, and you shall eat and be satisfied.  Take heed to yourselves, lest your heart be deceived, and you turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them; and the anger of  יהוה  be kindled against you, and He shut up the heaven, so that there shall be no rain, and the ground shall not yield her fruit; and you perish quickly from off the good land which יהוה  gives you.  Therefore shall you lay up these My words in your heart and in your soul; and you shall bind them for a sign upon your hand, and they shall be for frontlets between your eyes.  And you shall teach them to your children, talking of them, when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.  And you shall write them upon the door-posts of your house, and upon your gates; that your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, upon the land which  יהוה  swore unto your fathers to give them, as the days of the heavens above the earth.”

Deuteronomy) 11:13-21)

1 A Song; a Mizmor for the sons of Korakh.
2 Great is יהוה , and highly to be praised, in the city of our Elohim, His Har Kadosh,
3 Fair in situation, the joy of the whole earth; even mount Tzion, the uttermost parts of the north, the city of Melekh Rav.
4 Elohim in her palaces has made Himself known for a stronghold.
5 For, lo, the kings assembled themselves, they came onward together.
6 They saw, straightway they were amazed; they were terrified, they hasted away.
7 Trembling took hold of them there, pangs, as of a woman in travail.
8 With the east wind You break the ships of Tarshish.
9 As we have heard, so have we seen; in the city of יהוה Tzeva’ot, in the city of our Elohim. Elohim establishes it forever. Selah.
10 We have thought on Your compassion, O Elohim, in the midst of Your Heikhal.
11 As is Your Name, O Elohim, so is Your praise unto the ends of the earth; Your right hand is full of righteousness.
12 Let mount Tzion be glad, let the daughters of Yehudah rejoice, because of Your judgments.
13 Walk about Tzion, and go round about her; count the towers thereof.
14 Mark well her ramparts, traverse her palaces; that you may tell it to the generation following.
15 For such is Elohim, our Elohim, forever and ever; He will guide us even in death.

3 Judge the poor and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and destitute.
4 Rescue the poor and needy; deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.
5 They know not, neither do they understand; they go about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are moved.

1 God of vegeance, יהוה , God of vengeance, shine forth.
2 Lift up Yourself, O Judge of the earth; render to the proud their recompense.
3 יהוה , how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked exult?
4 They gush out, they speak arrogance; all the workers of iniquity bear themselves loftily.
5 They crush Your people, O יהוה , and afflict Your heritage.
6 They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.
7 And they say, “Yah will not see, neither will the Elohim of Ya’akov give heed.”
8 Consider, you brutish among the people; and you fools, when will you understand?
9 He that planted the ear, shall He not hear? He that formed the eye, shall He not see?
10 He that instructs nations, shall not He correct? Even He that teaches man knowledge?
11 יהוה knows the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
12 Happy is the man whom You instruct, O יהוה , and teach out of Your Torah;
13That You may give him rest from the days of evil, until the pit is digged for the wicked.
14 For יהוה will not cast off His people, neither will He forsake His inheritance.
15 For eternal righteousness will return justice, and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
16 Who will rise up for me against the evil-doers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
17 Unless יהוה had been my help, my soul would have soon dwelt in silence.
18 If I say, “My foot slips”, Your compassion, O יהוה , holds me up.
19 When my cares are many within me, Your comforts delight my soul.
20 Shall the seat of wickedness have fellowship with You, which frames mischief by statute?
21 They gather themselves together against the soul of a Tzadik, and condemn innocent blood.
22 But יהוה has been my high tower, and my Elohim the Rock of my refuge.
23 And He has brought upon them their own iniquity, and will cut them off in their own evil; יהוה our Elohim will cut them off.

4 Blast the shofar at the khodesh, at the full moon for our Khag.
5 For it is a statute for Yisra’el, an ordinance of the Elohim of Ya’akov.
6 He appointed it in Yosef for a testimony, when He went forth against the land of Mitzrayim. The speech of one that I knew not did I hear:
7 “I removed his shoulder from the burden; his hands were freed from the basket.
8 You did call in trouble, and I rescued you; I answered you in the secret place of thunder; I proved you at the waters of Merivah. Selah.
9 Hear, O My people, and I will admonish you: O Yisra’el, if you would hearken unto Me!
10 There shall no strange god be in you; neither shall you worship any foreign god.
11 I am יהוה your Elohim, who brought you up out of the land of Mitzrayim; open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.
12 But My people hearkened not to My voice; and Yisra’el would not love Me.
13 So I let them go after the stubbornness of their heart, that they might walk in their own counsels.
14 Oh that My people would hearken unto Me, that Yisra’el would walk in My ways!
15 I would soon subdue their enemies, and turn My hand against their adversaries.
16 The haters of יהוה would dwindle away before Him; and their punishment would endure forever.
17 They would also be fed with the fat of wheat; and with honey out of the Rock would I satisfy you.”

2.  B’kari, aneini Elohei Tzidki, batzar hirkḥavtah li; kḥaneini ush’mah tefilati.

Selah.

4 Ude’u ki hiflah יהוה kḥasid lo; יהוה yishmah b’kari eilav.

5 Rigzu, v’al tekḥeta’u; imru vilvavkḥem, al miskavkḥem, v’domu. Selah.

6 Zivkḥu zivkḥei tzedek; uvit’kḥu el

7 Rabim omrim, mi yare’einu tov?  Nesah aleinu or paneikḥa,

8 Natatah simkḥa v’libi; me’et d’ganam v’tirosham rabu.

9 B’shalom yakḥdav eshk’vah v’ishan: ki atah יהוה l’vadad; lavetakḥ toshiveini.

Answer me when I call, O Elohim of my righteousness, You who did set me free when I was in distress; be gracious unto me, and hear my prayer. O you sons of men, how long shall my glory be put to shame, in that you love vanity, and seek after falsehood? Selah. But know that יהוה has set apart the devout man as His own; יהוה will hear when I call unto Him. Tremble, and sin not; commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah. Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in יהוה . Many there are that say: ‘Oh that we could see some good!’ יהוה , lift up the light of Your countenance upon us. You have put gladness in my heart, more than when their grain and their wine increase. In peace will I both lay me down and sleep; for You, יהוה , make me dwell alone in safety.

Hear, O Yisra’el: יהוה is our Elohim, יהוה is one. Blessed is the name of His Glorious Kingship forever and ever. And you are to love יהוה your Elohim with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. These words which I command you today are to be on your heart, and you are to teach them carefully to your children. You are to talk about them when you sit at home, when you are traveling on the road, when you lie down and when you rise up. You shall tie them to your hand and they are to be as frontlets between your eyes, and you shall write them on the door frames of your house and on your gates. And you shall love your neighbor as yourself.
