VaYikra Chapter 21
1 And יהוה said unto Moshe, "Speak unto the Kohanim the sons of Aharon, and say unto them, 'There shall none defile himself for the dead among his people; 2 except for his kin that is near unto him, for his mother, and for his father, and for his son, and for his daughter, and for his brother; 3 and for his sister a virgin that is near unto him, that has had no husband, for her may he defile himself. 4 He shall not defile himself, being a chief man among his people, to profane himself. 5 They shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corners of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh. 6 They shall be consecrated unto their Elohim, and not profane the Name of their Elohim; for the offerings of יהוה made by fire, the bread of their Elohim, they do offer; therefore they shall be consecrated. 7 They shall not take a woman that is a harlot, or profaned; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband; for he is consecrated unto his Elohim. 8 You shall hallow him therefore; for he offers the bread of your Elohim; he shall be kadosh unto you; for I יהוה , who sets you apart, am Kadosh. 9 And the daughter of any kohen, if she profanes herself by playing the harlot, she profanes her father: she shall be burnt with fire'."
10 "'And the kohen that is highest among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil is poured, and that is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not let the hair of his head go loose, nor rend his clothes; 11 neither shall he go in to any dead body, nor defile himself for his father, or for his mother; 12 neither shall he go out of the Mikdash, nor profane the Mikdash of his Elohim; for the crown of the anointing oil of his Elohim is upon him: I am יהוה . And 13 he shall take a wife in her virginity. 14 A widow, or one divorced, or a profaned woman, or a harlot, these shall he not take; but a virgin of his own people shall he take as a wife. 15 And he shall not profane his seed among his people; for I am יהוה who sets him apart'."
16 And יהוה spoke unto Moshe, saying, 17 "Speak unto Aharon, saying, 'Whoever he is of your seed throughout their generations that has a blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his Elohim. 18 For whatever man he is that has a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that has anything maimed, or anything too long, 19 or a man that is broken-footed, or broken-handed, 20 or crook-backed, or a dwarf, or that has his eye overspread, or is scabbed, or scurvy, or has his stones crushed; 21 no man of the seed of Aharon the kohen, that has a blemish, shall come nigh to offer the offerings of יהוה made by fire; he has a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his Elohim. 22 He may eat the bread of his Elohim, both of the Kodesh HaKadashim, and of the Kadosh. 23 Only he shall not go in unto the veil, nor come nigh unto the Mizbe'akh, because he has a blemish; that he profanes not My Mikdash; for I am יהוה who sets them apart'." 24 So Moshe spoke unto Aharon, and to his sons, and unto all B'nei Yisra'el.

VaYikra Chapter 22
1 And יהוה spoke unto Moshe, saying, 2 "Speak unto Aharon and to his sons, that they separate themselves from the kadashim of B'nei Yisra'el, which they hallow unto Me, and that they profane not My Kadosh Name: I am יהוה . Say 3 unto them, 'Whoever he is of all your seed throughout your generations that approaches unto the consecrated things which B'nei Yisra'el hallow unto יהוה , having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from before Me: I am יהוה . Whatever 4 man of the seed of Aharon is a leper, or has an issue, he shall not eat of the consecrated things, until he is clean. And whoever touches anyone that is unclean by the dead, or from whomever the flow of seed goes out, 5 or whoever touches any swarming thing whereby he may be made unclean, or a man of whom he may take uncleanness, whatever uncleanness he has, 6 the soul that touches any such shall be unclean until the evening, and shall not eat of the kadashim unless he bathes his flesh in water. 7 And when the sun is down, he shall be clean; and afterward he may eat of the kadashim, because it is his bread. 8 That which dies of itself, or is torn of beasts, he shall not eat to defile himself therewith: I am יהוה . They 9 shall therefore keep My charge, lest they bear sin for it, and die therein, if they profane it: I am יהוה who sets them apart. 10 There shall no common man eat of the kodesh; a tenant of a kohen, or a hired servant, shall not eat of the consecrated thing. 11 But if a kohen buys any soul, the purchase of his money, he may eat of it; and such as are born in his house, they may eat of his bread. 12 And if a kohen’s daughter is married unto a common man, she shall not eat of that which is consecrated from the consecrated things. 13 But if a kohen’s daughter is a widow, or divorced, and has no child, and is returned unto her father’s house as in her youth, she may eat of her father’s bread; but there shall no common man eat thereof. 14 And if a man eats of the kodesh through error, then he shall put the fifth part thereof unto it, and shall give unto the kohen the kodesh. 15 And they shall not profane the kadashim of B'nei Yisra'el, which they consecrated unto יהוה , and 16 so cause them to bear the iniquity that brings guilt, when they eat their kadashim; for I am יהוה who sets them apart'."

Yekhezkel Chapter 44
15 "But the Kohenim, the Levi'im, the sons of Tzadok, that kept the charge of My Mikdash when B'nei Yisra'el went astray from Me, they shall come near to Me to minister unto Me; and they shall stand before Me to offer unto Me the fat and the blood, says Adonai יהוה ; they 16 shall enter into My Mikdash, and they shall come near to My Shulkhan, to minister unto Me, and they shall keep My charge. 17 And it shall be that when they enter in at the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed with linen garments; and no wool shall come upon them while they minister in the gates of the inner court and within. 18 They shall have linen miters upon their heads, and shall have linen breeches upon their loins; they shall not gird themselves with any thing that causes sweat. 19 And when they go forth into the outer court, even into the outer court to the people, they shall put off their garments wherein they minister, and lay them in the consecrated chambers, and they shall put on other garments, that they do not consecrate the people with their garments. 20 Neither shall they shave their heads, nor suffer their locks to grow long; they shall only poll their heads. 21 Neither shall any Kohen drink wine when they enter into the inner court. 22 Neither shall they take for their wives a widow, nor her that is put away; but they shall take virgins of the seed of Beit Yisra'el, or a widow that is the widow of a Kohen. 23 And they shall teach My people the difference between the kadosh and the common, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean. 24 And in a controversy they shall stand to judge; according to My ordinances shall they judge it; and they shall keep My instructions and My statutes in all My Mo'edim, and they shall hallow My Sabbaths. 25 And they shall come near no dead person to defile themselves; but for father, or for mother, or for son, or for daughter, for brother, or for sister that has had no husband, they may defile themselves. 26 And after he is cleansed, they shall reckon unto him seven days. 27 And in the day that he goes into the Mikdash, into the inner court to minister in the Mikdash, he shall offer his Khatat, says Adonai יהוה . And 28 it shall be unto them for an inheritance: I am their inheritance; and you shall give them no possession in Yisra'el: I am their possession. 29 The Minkhah, and the Khatat, and the Asham, they, even they, shall eat; and every devoted thing in Yisra'el shall be theirs. 30 And the first of all the first-fruits of every thing, and every heave-offering of every thing, of all your offerings, shall be for the Kohanim; you shall also give unto the Kohen the first of your dough, to cause a blessing to rest on your house. 31 The Kohanim shall not eat of any thing that dies of itself, or is torn, whether it is fowl or beast."

Luka Chapter 4
16 And He came to Natzrat, where he had been brought up; and He entered the Beit K'nesset on Yom HaShabbat, as was His custom, and stood up to read. 17 And the book of Yesha-Yahu HaNavi was given to Him. And Yeshua opened the book and found the place where it is written, 18 “The Ru'akh of יהוה is upon me; because of this He has anointed me to declare good news to the poor; and He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, and to proclaim release to the captives and sight to the blind; to strengthen with forgiveness those who are oppressed, 19 and to declare the year of the favor of יהוה .” And 20 He rolled up the scroll and gave it to the Shamash, and went and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the Beit K'nesset were fixed on Him. 21 And He began to say to them, “Today, this scripture is fulfilled in your ears.” | לוקא פרק ד

Galatim Chapter 5
1 Stand firm therefore in the liberty with which Mashi'akh has made us free, and be not harnessed again under the yoke of servitude. 2 Behold, I, Pavlos, tell you that if you get circumcised, then Mashi'akh is of no benefit to you. 3 For I testify again to every man who gets circumcised, that he is under obligation to fulfill the whole Torah. 4 You have ceased to adhere to Mashi'akh, who seek justification by the Torah; you are fallen from grace. 5 For we through HaRu'akh wait for the hope of tzedaka by absolute trust. 6 For, in Mashi'akh Yeshua, neither is circumcision anything nor uncircumcision, but absolute trust, which is accomplished by love. 7 You were progressing well; who confused you that you should not obey the truth? 8 Your confidence, is it not from the one who called you? 9 A little khametz leavens the whole lump. 10 I have confidence in you through Adoneinu, that you will consider no other way, that he who troubles you shall bear his judgment, whoever he is. 11 And I, my brethren, if I still declare circumcision, why should I be persecuted? Why? Has the stake ceased to be an offense? 12 I wish those who are troubling you would be expelled.
13 For, my brethren, you have been called to liberty; only do not use your liberty for an occasion to the things of the flesh, but by love serve one another. | אגרת שאול אל הגלאטים פרק ה
