B'reshit Chapter 27
28 So Elohim give you of the dew of heaven, and of the fat places of the earth, and plenty of grain and wine. 29 Let peoples serve you, and nations bow down to you. Be master over your brethren, and let your mother's sons bow down to you. Cursed be every one that curses you, and blessed be every one that blesses you." 30 And it came to pass, as soon as Yitz'khak had made an end of blessing Ya'akov, and Ya'akov was yet scarce gone out from the presence of Yitz'khak his father, that Esav his brother came in from his hunting. 31 And he also made savory food, and brought it unto his father; and he said unto his father, "Let my father arise, and eat of his son's venison, that your soul may bless me." 32 And Yitz'khak his father said unto him, "Who are you?" And he said, "I am your son, your firstborn, Esav." 33 And Yitz'khak trembled very exceedingly, and said, "Who then is he that has taken venison, and brought it to me, and I have eaten of all before you came, and have blessed him? Yes, and he shall be blessed." 34 When Esav heard the words of his father, he cried with an exceedingly great and bitter cry, and said unto his father, "Bless me, even me also, O my father." 35 And he said, "Your brother came with guile, and has taken away your blessing." 36 And he said, "Is not he rightly named Ya'akov? For he has supplanted me these two times: he took away my birthright; and, behold, now he has taken away my blessing." And he said, "Have you not reserved a blessing for me?" 37 And Yitz'khak answered and said unto Esav, "Behold, I have made him your master, and all his brethren have I given to him for servants; and with grain and wine have I sustained him; and what then shall I do for you, my son?" 38 And Esav said unto his father, "Have you but one blessing, my father? Bless me, even me also, O my father." And Esav lifted up his voice, and wept. 39 And Yitz'khak his father answered and said unto him, "Behold, of the fat places of the earth shall be your dwelling, and of the dew of heaven from above; 40 and by your sword shall you live, and you shall serve your brother; and it shall come to pass when you shall break loose, that you shall shake his yoke from off your neck." 41 And Esav hated Ya'akov because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him. And Esav said in his heart, "Let the days of mourning for my father be at hand; then will I slay my brother Ya'akov." 42 And the words of Esav her elder son were told to Rivkah; and she sent and called Ya'akov her younger son, and said unto him, "Behold, your brother Esav, as touching you, does comfort himself, purposing to kill you. 43 Now therefore, my son, hearken to my voice; and arise, flee to Lavan my brother to Kharan; 44 and tarry with him a few days, until your brother's fury turns away; 45 until your brother's anger turns away from you, and he forgets that which you have done to him; then I will send, and fetch you from there; why should I be bereaved of you both in one day?" 46 And Rivkah said to Yitz'khak, "I am weary of my life because of the daughters of Khet. If Ya'akov takes a wife of the daughters of Khet, such as these, of the daughters of the land, what good shall my life do me?"

B'reshit Chapter 28
1 And Yitz'khak called Ya'akov, and blessed him, and charged him, and said unto him, "You shall not take a wife of the daughters of Kena'an. 2 Arise, go to Padan Aram, to the house of Betu'el your mother's father; and take you a wife from there of the daughters of Lavan your mother's brother. 3 And El Shadai bless you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, that you may be a congregation of peoples; 4 and give you the blessing of Avraham, to you, and to your seed with you; that you may inherit the land of your sojournings, which Elohim gave unto Avraham." 5 And Yitz'khak sent away Ya'akov; and he went to Padan Aram unto Lavan, son of Betu'el the Arami, the brother of Rivkah, Ya'akov's and Esav's mother. 6 Now Esav saw that Yitz'khak had blessed Ya'akov and sent him away to Padan Aram, to take him a wife from there; and that as he blessed him, he gave him a charge, saying, "You shall not take a wife of the daughters of Kena'an," 7 and that Ya'akov hearkened to his father and his mother, and was gone to Padan Aram; 8 and Esav saw that the daughters of Kena'an pleased not Yitz'khak his father; 9 so Esav went unto Yishma'el, and took unto the wives that he had Makhalat the daughter of Yishma'el Avraham's son, the sister of Nevayot, to be his wife.

Malakhi Chapter 1
1 The burden of the D'var יהוה to Yisra'el by Malakhi. 2 "I have loved you, says יהוה . Yet you say, 'Wherein have You loved us?' Was not Esav the brother of Ya'akov, says יהוה ; yet I loved Ya'akov; 3 but Esav I hated, and made his mountains a desolation, and gave his heritage to the jackals of the wilderness. 4 Whereas Edom says, 'We are beaten down, but we will return and build the waste places'; thus says יהוה Tzeva'ot, 'They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall be called the border of wickedness, and the people whom יהוה execrates forever. 5 And your eyes shall see, and you shall say, ' יהוה is great beyond the border of Yisra'el'.' 6 A son honors his father, and a servant his master; if then I am a father, where is My honor? And if I am a master, where is My fear, says יהוה Tzeva'ot unto you, O priests, that despise My Name. And you say, 'Wherein have we despised Your Name?' 7 You offer polluted bread upon My Mizbe'akh. And you say, 'Wherein have we polluted You?' In that you say, 'The Shulkhan יהוה is contemptible.' 8 And when you offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil! And when you offer the lame and sick, is it not evil! Present it now unto your governor; will he be pleased with you? Or will he accept your person, says יהוה Tzeva'ot. 9 And now, I pray, entreat the favor of Elohim, that He may be gracious unto us! This has been of your doing. Will He accept any of your persons, says יהוה Tzeva'ot? 10 Oh that there were even one among you that would shut the doors, that you might not kindle fire on My Mizbe'akh in vain! I have no pleasure in you, says יהוה Tzeva'ot, neither will I accept an offering at your hand. 11 For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same, My Name is great among the nations; and in every place offerings are presented unto My Name, even pure oblations; for My Name is great among the nations, says יהוה Tzeva'ot. 12 But you profane it, in that you say, 'The Shulkhan יהוה is polluted, and the fruit thereof, even the food thereof, is contemptible.' 13 You say also, 'Behold, what a weariness is it!' And you have snuffed at it, says יהוה Tzeva'ot; and you have brought that which was taken by violence, and the lame, and the sick; thus you bring the offering; should I accept this of your hand, says יהוה . But 14 cursed is he that deals craftily, whereas he has in his flock a male, and vows, and sacrifices unto Adonai a blemished thing; for I am a Melekh Gadol, says יהוה Tzeva'ot, and My Name is feared among the nations."

Malakhi Chapter 2
1 "And now, this Mitzvah is for you, O you priests. 2 If you will not hearken, and if you will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto My Name, says יהוה Tzeva'ot, then will I send the curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings; yes, I curse them, because you do not lay it to heart. 3 Behold, I will rebuke the seed for your hurt, and will spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your sacrifices; and you shall be taken away unto it. 4 Know then that I have sent this Mitzvah unto you, that My Brit might be with Levi, says יהוה Tzeva'ot. 5 My Brit was with him of life and shalom, and I gave them to him, and of fear, and he feared Me, and was afraid of My Name. 6 The Torah of truth was in his mouth, and unrighteousness was not found in his lips; he walked with Me in shalom and uprightness, and did turn many away from iniquity. 7 For the Kohen's lips should guard knowledge, and they should seek the Torah at his mouth; for he is the Malakh יהוה Tzeva'ot.

Romim Chapter 9
6 It is not as though Davar HaElohim had actually failed. For all those who belong to Yisra’el are not Yisra’elites. 7 Neither, because they are of the seed of Avraham are they all His children; for it was said, “In Yitz’khak shall your descendants be called.” 8 That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are the children of Elohim, but the children of the promise who are reckoned as descendants. 9 For this is the D'var of trust: “I will come at this season, and Sarah shall have a son.” 10 And not only this; but Rivkah also, even though she had intimacy with one only, our father Yitz’khak; 11 before her children were born or had done good or evil, the choice of Elohim was made known in advance, that it might stand, not by means of works, but through Him who made the choice. 12 For it was said, “The elder shall be the servant of the younger.” 13 As it is written, “Ya’akov have I loved, but Esav have I hated.”
14 What shall we say then? Is there injustice with Elohim? What profanity! 15 For he said to Moshe also, “I will have mercy on him whom I have mercy, and I will give favor to whom I give favor.” 16 Therefore, it is not within the reach of him who wishes, nor within the reach of him who strives, but it is within the reach of the merciful Elohim. | אגרת שאולאל הרומים פרק ט

Luka Chapter 3
1 In the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, during the governorship of Pontius Pilatos in Y’hudah, when Herodus was tetrarch of the Galil, and his brother Filipos tetrarch of Ituraea and of the region of Trachonitis, and Lysanius tetrarch of Abileena, 2 during the priesthoods of Khanan and Kayafah, Davar HaElohim came to Yokhanan Ben Zekhar-Yah in the wilderness. 3 And he went throughout the country around Yarden, declaring the immersion of repentance for the forgiveness of sins; 4 as it is written in the book of the words of Yesha-Yahu HaNavi, “The voice which calls in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way of יהוה , make the paths of our Elohim straight in the plain. 5 Let all the valleys be filled up, and all the mountains and hills be leveled; let the crooked places be made straight, and the rough places like a plain; 6 and let all flesh see the Salvation of Elohim.'” 7 And he said to the people who were coming to him to be immersed, “O offspring of scorpions, who has warned you to escape from the anger which is coming? 8 Therefore bring forth fruits which are worthy of repentance; and do not begin to say within yourselves, ‘We have Avraham as our father;' for I say to you that Elohim can raise up children for Avraham from these stones. 9 Behold, the axe is already placed at the root of the trees; therefore every tree which bears not good fruits will be cut down and cast into the fire.” 10 And the people asked him, saying, “What then shall we do?” 11 He answered, saying to them, “He who has two shirts, let him give to him who has none; and he who has food, let him do likewise.” 12 And there came also tax collectors to be immersed, and they said to him, “Teacher, what shall we do?” 13 He said to them, “Do not exact anything more than what is commanded you to exact.” 14 And the soldiers also asked him saying, “What shall we do?” And he said to them, “Do not do violence to any man, and do not accuse any man; your own wages should be enough for you.”
15 While the people were placing their hope on Yokhanan, and all of them were thinking in their hearts, ‘Perhaps he is the Mashi'akh,' 16 Yokhanan answered, saying to them, “Behold, I immerse you with water; but one is coming after me, who is greater than I, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to loosen; He will immerse you with The Ru'akh HaKodesh, and with fire. 17 He holds a shovel in his hand, and purifies His threshing; the wheat He gathers into his barns, and the straw He burns in the unquenchable fire.” 18 Many other things also he taught and declared to the people. | לוקא פרק ג
