Shemot Chapter 13
17 And it came to pass, when Paroh had let the people go, that Elohim led them not by the way of the land of the P'lishtim, although that was near; for Elohim said, "Lest perhaps the people turn around when they see war, and they return to Egypt." 18 But Elohim led the people about, by the way of the wilderness by Red Sea; and B'nei Yisra'el went up armed out of the land of Egypt.
19 And Moshe took the bones of Yosef with him; for he had straitly sworn B'nei Yisra'el, saying, "Elohim will surely remember you; and you shall carry up my bones away from here with you." 20 And they took their journey from Sukkot, and encamped in Etam, in the edge of the wilderness. 21 And יהוה went before them by day in a pillar of cloud, to lead them in the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; that they might go by day and by night: 22 the pillar of cloud by day, and the pillar of fire by night, departed not from before the people.

Shemot Chapter 14
1 And יהוה spoke unto Moshe, saying, 2 'Speak unto B'nei Yisra'el, that they turn back and encamp before Pi HaHirot, between Migdol and the sea, before Ba'al Tzefon, over against it shall you encamp by the sea. 3 And Paroh will say of B'nei Yisra'el "They are entangled in the land, the wilderness has shut them in." 4 And I will harden Paroh’s heart, and he shall follow after them; and I will glorify Myself in Paroh, and in all his host; and Egypt shall know that I am יהוה ." And they did so. 5 And it was told the king of Egypt that the people had fled; and the heart of Paroh and of his servants was turned towards the people, and they said, "What is this we have done, that we have let Yisra'el go from serving us?" 6 And he made ready his chariots, and took his people with him. 7 And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over all of them. 8 And יהוה hardened the heart of Paroh, King of Egypt, and he pursued after B'nei Yisra'el; for B'nei Yisra'el went out with a high hand. 9 And Egypt pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Paroh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pi HaHirot, in front of Ba'al Tzefon. 10 And when Paroh drew near, B'nei Yisra'el lifted up their eyes, and, behold, Egypt was marching after them; and they were sore afraid; and B'nei Yisra'el cried out unto יהוה . And 11 they said unto Moshe, "Because there were no graves in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why, then, have you dealt thus with us, to bring us forth out of Egypt? 12 Is not this the word that we spoke unto you in Egypt, saying, 'Let us alone, that we may serve Egypt?' For it was better for us to serve Egypt, than that we should die in the wilderness." 13 And Moshe said unto the people, "Fear not, stand still, and see the Salvation of יהוה , which He will work for you today; for whereas you have seen Egypt today, you shall see them again no more forever. 14 יהוה will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace."
15 And יהוה said unto Moshe, "Why do you cry unto Me? Speak unto B'nei Yisra'el, that they go forward. 16 And lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea, and divide it; and B'nei Yisra'el shall go into the midst of the sea on dry ground. 17 And I, behold, I will strengthen the hearts of Egypt, and they shall go in after them; and I will glorify Myself in Paroh, and in all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen. 18 And Egypt shall know that I am יהוה , when I have glorified Myself in Paroh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen." 19 And the Malakh HaElohim, who went before the camp of Yisra'el, removed and went behind them; then the pillar of cloud removed from before them, and stood behind them; 20 and it came between the camp of Egypt and the camp of Yisra'el; and there was the cloud and the darkness here, yet it gave light by night there; and the one came not near the other all the night. 21 And Moshe stretched out his hand over the sea; and יהוה caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all the night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. 22 And B'nei Yisra'el went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.
23 And Egypt pursued, and went in after them into the midst of the sea, all Paroh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen. 24 And it came to pass in the morning watch, that יהוה looked forth upon the host of Egypt through the pillar of fire and of cloud, and discomfited the host of Egypt. 25 And He took off their chariot wheels, and made them to drive heavily; so that Egypt said, "Let us flee from the face of Yisra'el; for יהוה fights for them against Egypt."
26 And יהוה said unto Moshe, "Stretch out your hand over the sea, that the waters may come back upon Egypt, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen." 27 And Moshe stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to its strength when the morning appeared; and Egypt fled against it; and יהוה overthrew Egypt in the midst of the sea. 28 And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, even all the host of Paroh that went in after them into the sea; there remained not so much as one of them. 29 But B'nei Yisra'el walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. 30 Thus יהוה saved Yisra'el that day out of the hand of Egypt; and Yisra'el saw Egypt dead upon the sea-shore. 31 And Yisra'el saw the great work which יהוה did upon Egypt, and the people feared יהוה ; and they believed in יהוה , and in His servant Moshe.

Shemot Chapter 15
1 Then sang Moshe and B'nei Yisra'el this song unto יהוה , and spoke, saying,
"I will sing unto יהוה , for He is highly exalted; the horse and his rider has He thrown into the sea. 2 Yah is my strength and my song, and He is become my Yeshua[h]; this is my Elohim, and I will glorify Him; my father’s Elohim, and I will exalt Him. 3 יהוה is a man of war, יהוה is His Name. 4 Paroh’s chariots and his army has He cast into the sea, and his chosen captains are sunk in Red Sea. 5 The deeps cover them, they went down into the depths like a stone. 6 Your right hand, O יהוה , is glorious in power, Your right hand, O יהוה , dashes in pieces the enemy. 7 And in the greatness of Your excellency You overthrow them that rise up against You; You send forth Your wrath, it consumes them as stubble. 8 And with the blast of Your nostrils the waters were piled up, the floods stood upright as a heap; the deeps were congealed in the heart of the sea. 9 The enemy said, 'I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them." 10 You did blow with Your wind, the sea covered them; they sank as lead in the mighty waters. 11 Who is like unto You, O יהוה , among the gods? Who is like unto You, glorious in kodesh, awesome in praises, doing wonders? 12 You stretched out Your right hand, the earth swallowed them. 13 You in Your love have led the people that You have redeemed; You have guided them in Your strength to Your kadosh habitation. 14 The peoples have heard, they tremble; pangs have taken hold on the inhabitants of Pelashet. 15 Then were the chiefs of Edom affrighted; the mighty men of Mo'av, trembling takes hold upon them; all the inhabitants of Kena'an are melted away. 16 Terror and dread falls upon them; by the greatness of Your arm they are as still as a stone; till Your people pass over, O יהוה , till the people pass over that You have gotten. 17 You bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of Your inheritance, the place, O יהוה , which You have made for You to dwell in, the Mikdash, O יהוה , which Your hands have established. 18 יהוה shall reign forever and ever. 19 For the horses of Paroh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and יהוה brought back the waters of the sea upon them; but B'nei Yisra'el walked on dry land in the midst of the sea."
20 And Miryam the Nevi'ah, the sister of Aharon, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances. 21 And Miryam sang unto them, "Sing to יהוה , for He is highly exalted: the horse and his rider has He thrown into the sea."
22 And Moshe led Yisra'el onward from Red Sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water. 23 And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore the name of it was called Marah. 24 And the people murmured against Moshe, saying, "What shall we drink?" 25 And he cried unto יהוה ; and יהוה showed him a tree, and he cast it into the waters, and the waters were made sweet. There He made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there He proved them; 26 and He said, "If you will diligently hearken to the voice of יהוה your Elohim, and will do that which is right in His eyes, and will give ear to His Mitzvot, and keep all His Khukot, I will put none of the diseases upon you, which I have put upon Egypt; for I am יהוה Rofeikha."
27 And they came to Elim, where there were twelve springs of water, and seventy palm trees; and they encamped there by the waters.

Shemot Chapter 16
1 And they took their journey from Elim, and all the assembly of B'nei Yisra'el came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second khodesh after their departing out of the land of Mitzrayim. 2 And the whole assembly of B'nei Yisra'el murmured against Moshe and against Aharon in the wilderness; 3 and B'nei Yisra'el said unto them, "Would that we had died by the hand of יהוה in the land of Mitzrayim, when we sat by the flesh-pots, when we did eat bread to the full; for you have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole congregation with hunger." 4 Then said יהוה unto Moshe, "Behold, I will cause bread to rain down from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a day's portion every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in My Torah or not. 5 And it shall come to pass on the sixth day that they shall prepare that which they bring in, and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily." 6 And Moshe and Aharon said unto all B'nei Yisra'el, "At evening, then you shall know that יהוה has brought you out from the land of Mitzrayim; 7 and in the morning, then you shall see the K’vod יהוה ; for that He has heard your murmurings against יהוה ; and what are we, that you murmur against us?" 8 And Moshe said, "This shall be, when יהוה shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that יהוה hears your murmurings which you murmur against Him; and what are we? Your murmurings are not against us, but against יהוה ." And9 Moshe said unto Aharon, "Say unto all the assembly of B'nei Yisra'el, 'Come near before יהוה ; for He has heard your murmurings'." 10 And it came to pass, as Aharon spoke unto the whole assembly of B'nei Yisra'el, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the K’vod יהוה appeared in the cloud.
11 And יהוה spoke unto Moshe, saying, 12 "I have heard the murmurings of B'nei Yisra'el. Speak unto them, saying, 'At dusk you shall eat flesh, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread; and you shall know that I am יהוה your Elohim'." 13 And it came to pass at dusk, that the quails came up and covered the camp; and in the morning there was a layer of dew round about the camp. 14 And when the layer of dew was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness a fine, scale-like thing, fine as the hoar-frost on the ground. 15 And when B'nei Yisra'el saw it, they said one to another, "What is it?" For they knew not what it was. And Moshe said unto them, "It is the bread which יהוה has given you to eat. 16 This is the thing which יהוה has commanded: gather of it every man according to his eating; an omer a head, according to the number of your persons shall you take it, every man for them that are in his tent." 17 And B'nei Yisra'el did so, and gathered some more, some less. 18 And when they did mete it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his eating. 19 And Moshe said unto them, "Let no man leave of it till the morning." 20 Notwithstanding, they hearkened not unto Moshe; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and rotted; and Moshe was wroth with them. 21 And they gathered it morning by morning, every man according to his eating; and as the sun waxed hot, it melted. 22 And it came to pass that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for each one; and all the rulers of the assembly came and told Moshe. 23 And he said unto them, "This is that which יהוה has spoken, 'Tomorrow is a solemn rest, a consecrated Shabbat unto יהוה . Bake that which you will bake, and seethe that which you will seethe; and all that remains over lay up for you to be kept until the morning'." 24 And they laid it up till the morning, as Moshe bade; and it did not rot, neither was there any worm therein. 25 And Moshe said, "Eat that today; for today is a Shabbat unto יהוה ; today you shall not find it in the field. 26 Six days you shall gather it; but on the seventh day is the Shabbat, in it there shall be none." 27 And it came to pass on the seventh day, that there went out some of the people to gather, and they found none. 28 And יהוה said unto Moshe, "How long do you refuse to keep My Mitzvot and My laws? 29 See that יהוה has given you the Shabbat; therefore He gives you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day." 30 So the people rested on the seventh day. 31 And the house of Yisra'el called the name thereof 'manna'; and it was like coriander seed, white; and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey. 32 And Moshe said, "This is the thing which יהוה has commanded: 'let an omerful of it be kept throughout your generations; that they may see the bread wherewith I fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you forth from the land of Mitzrayim'." 33 And Moshe said unto Aharon, "Take a jar, and put an omerful of manna therein, and lay it up before יהוה , to be kept throughout your generations." 34 As יהוה commanded Moshe, so Aharon laid it up before HaEdut, to be kept. 35 And B'nei Yisra'el did eat manna forty years, until they came to a land inhabited; they did eat manna, until they came unto the borders of the land of Kena'an. 36 Now an omer is the tenth part of an efah.

Shemot Chapter 17
1 And all the assembly of B'nei Yisra'el journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, by their stages, according to the direction of יהוה , and encamped in Refidim; and there was no water for the people to drink. 2 Therefore the people strove with Moshe, and said, "Give us water that we may drink." And Moshe said unto them, "Why do you strive with me? Why do you try יהוה ?" And3 the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moshe, and said, "Why have you brought us up out of Mitzrayim, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst?" 4 And Moshe cried unto יהוה , saying, "What shall I do unto this people? They are almost ready to stone me." 5 And יהוה said unto Moshe, "Pass on before the people, and take with you of the Z'kenim of Yisra'el; and your rod, wherewith you smote the river, take in your hand, and go. 6 Behold, I will stand before you there upon the rock in Khorev; and you shall smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink." And Moshe did so in the sight of the elders of Yisra'el. 7 And the name of the place was called Masah, and Merivah, because of the striving of B'nei Yisra'el, and because they tried יהוה , saying, "Is יהוה among us, or not?"
8 Then came Amalek, and fought with Yisra'el in Refidim. 9 And Moshe said unto Yehoshua, "Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek; tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of Elohim in my hand." 10 So Yehoshua did as Moshe had said to him, and fought with Amalek; and Moshe, Aharon, and Khur went up to the top of the hill. 11 And it came to pass, when Moshe held up his hand, that Yisra'el prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. 12 But Moshe's hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aharon and Khur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. 13 And Yehoshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.
14 And יהוה said unto Moshe, "Write this for a memorial in the book, and rehearse it in the ears of Yehoshua: for I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven." 15 And Moshe built a Mizbe'akh, and called the name of it יהוה Nissi. 16 And he said, "The hand upon the throne of Yah: יהוה will have war with Amalek from generation to generation."

Shoftim Chapter 4
4 Now D'vorah, a Nevi'ah, the wife of Lapidot, she judged Yisra'el at that time. 5 And she sat under the palm tree of D'vorah between Ramah and Beit El in the hill country of Efrayim; and B'nei Yisra'el came up to her for judgment. 6 And she sent and called Barak Ben Avino’am out of Kedesh Naftali, and said unto him, "Has not יהוה Elohei Yisra'el, commanded, saying, 'Go and draw toward mount Tavor, and take with you ten thousand men of the children of Naftali and of the children of Zevulun? 7 And I will draw unto you to the brook Kishon Sisera, the captain of Yavin's army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into your hand." 8 And Barak said unto her, "If you will go with me, then I will go; but if you will not go with me, I will not go." 9 And she said, "I will surely go with you; notwithstanding the journey that you take shall not be for your honor; for יהוה will give Sisera over into the hand of a woman." And D'vorah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh. 10 And Barak called Zevulun and Naftali together to Kedesh; and there went up ten thousand men at his feet; and D'vorah went up with him. 11 Now Khever the Keni had severed himself from the Kayin, even from the children of Khovav the father-in-law of Moshe, and had pitched his tent as far as Eilon Beza'ananim, which is by Kedesh. 12 And they told Sisera that Barak Ben Avino’am was gone up to mount Tavor. 13 And Sisera gathered together all his chariots, even nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the people that were with him, from Kharoshet HaGoyim, unto the brook Kishon. 14 And D'vorah said unto Barak, "Up; for this is the day in which יהוה has delivered Sisera into your hand; is not יהוה gone out before you?" So Barak went down from mount Tavor, and ten thousand men after him. 15 And יהוה discomfited Sisera, and all his chariots, and all his host, with the edge of the sword before Barak; and Sisera alighted from his chariot, and fled away on his feet. 16 But Barak pursued after the chariots, and after the host, unto Kharoshet HaGoyim; and all the host of Sisera fell by the edge of the sword; there was not a man left. 17 But Sisera fled away on his feet to the tent of Ya'el the wife of Khever the Keni; for there was shalom between Yavin the king of Khazor and the house of Khever the Keni. 18 And Ya'el went out to meet Sisera, and said unto him, "Turn in, my lord, turn in to me; fear not." And he turned in unto her into the tent, and she covered him with a rug. 19 And he said unto her, "Give me, I pray, a little water to drink; for I am thirsty." And she opened a bottle of milk, and gave him drink, and covered him. 20 And he said unto her, "Stand in the door of the tent, and it shall be, when any man does come and inquire of you, and say, 'Is there any man here,' that you shall say, 'No'." 21 Then Ya'el, the wife of Khever, took a tent-pin, and took a hammer in her hand, and went softly unto him, and smote the pin into his temples, and it pierced through into the ground; for he was in a deep sleep; so he swooned and died. 22 And, behold, as Barak pursued Sisera, Ya'el came out to meet him, and said unto him, "Come, and I will show you the man whom you seek." And he came unto her; and, behold, Sisera lay dead, and the tent-pin was in his temples. 23 So Elohim subdued on that day Yavin the king of Kena'an before B'nei Yisra'el. 24 And the hand of B'nei Yisra'el prevailed more and more against Yavin the king of Kena'an, until they had destroyed Yavin king of Kena'an.

Shoftim Chapter 5
1 Then sang D'vorah and Barak Ben Avino’am on that day, saying, 2 "When men let grow their hair in Yisra'el, when the people offer themselves willingly, bless יהוה . Hear 3, O you kings; give ear, O you princes; I, unto יהוה will I sing; I will sing praise to יהוה , Elohei Yisra'el. 4 יהוה , when You went forth out of Se'ir, when You marched out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, the heavens also dropped, yes, the clouds dropped water. 5 The mountains quaked at the presence of יהוה , even yon Sinai at the presence of יהוה , Elohei Yisra'el. 6 In the days of Shamgar Ben Anat, in the days of Ya'el, the highways ceased, and the travellers walked through byways. 7 The rulers ceased in Yisra'el, they ceased, until you arose, D'vorah, that you did arise a mother in Yisra'el. 8 They chose new gods; then was war in the gates; was there a shield or spear seen among forty thousand in Yisra'el? 9 My heart is toward the governors of Yisra'el, that offered themselves willingly among the people. Bless יהוה . You 10 that ride on white donkeys, you that sit on rich cloths, and you that walk by the way, tell of it; 11 Louder than the voice of archers, by the watering-troughs! There shall they rehearse the righteous acts of יהוה , even the righteous acts of His rulers in Yisra'el. Then the people of יהוה went down to the gates. 12 Awake, awake, D'vorah; awake, awake, utter a song; arise, Barak, and lead your captivity captive, you son of Avino’am. 13 Then He made a remnant to have dominion over the nobles and the people; יהוה made me have dominion over the mighty. 14 Out of Efrayim came they whose root is in Amalek; after you, Binyamin, among your peoples; out of Makhir came down governors, and out of Zevulun they that handle the marshal's staff. 15 And the princes of Yisakhar were with D'vorah; as was Yisakhar, so was Barak; into the valley they rushed forth at his feet. Among the divisions of Re'uven there were great resolves of heart. 16 Why did you sit among the sheepfolds? To hear the pipings for the flocks? At the divisions of Re'uven there were great searchings of heart. 17 Gilad abode beyond the Yarden; and Dan, why does he sojourn by the ships? Asher dwelt at the shore of the sea, and abides by its bays. 18 Zevulun is a people that jeopardized their lives unto the death, and Naftali, upon the high places of the field. 19 The kings came, they fought; then fought the kings of Kena'an, in Ta'anakh by the waters of Megido; they took no gain of money. 20 They fought from heaven, the stars in their courses fought against Sisera. 21 The brook Kishon swept them away, that ancient brook, the brook Kishon. O my soul, tread them down with strength. 22 Then did the horsehoofs stamp by reason of the prancings, the prancings of their mighty ones. 23 'Curse you Meroz', said the Malakh יהוה , 'Curse you bitterly the inhabitants thereof, because they came not to the help of יהוה , to the help of יהוה against the mighty.' 24 Blessed above women shall Ya'el be, the wife of Khever haKeni, above women in the tent shall she be blessed. 25 Water he asked, milk she gave him; in a lordly bowl she brought him curd. 26 Her hand she put to the tent-pin, and her right hand to the workmen's hammer; and with the hammer she smote Sisera, she smote through his head, yes, she pierced and struck through his temples. 27 At her feet he sunk, he fell, he lay; at her feet he sunk, he fell; where he sunk, there he fell down dead. 28 Through the window she looked forth, and peered, the mother of Sisera, through the lattice, 'Why is his chariot so long in coming? Why tarry the wheels of his chariots?' 29 The wisest of her princesses answer her, yes, she returns answer to herself, 30 'Are they not finding, are they not dividing the spoil? A damsel, two damsels to every man; to Sisera a spoil of dyed garments, a spoil of dyed garments of embroidery, two dyed garments of broidery for the neck of every spoiler?' 31 So perish all Your enemies, O יהוה ; but they that love Him are as the sun when he goes forth in his might." And the land had rest forty years.

Tehillah (Psalm) 66
1 For the Leader. A Song, a Mizmor. Shout unto Elohim, all the earth; 2 Sing praises unto the glory of His Name; make His praise glorious.3 Say unto Elohim, ""How tremendous is Your work! Through the greatness of Your power shall Your enemies dwindle away before You. 4 All the earth shall worship You, and shall sing praises unto You; they shall sing praises to Your Name."" Selah.
5 Come, and see the works of Elohim; He is awesome in His doings toward the children of men. 6 He turned the sea into dry land; they went through the river on foot; there let us rejoice in Him! 7 Who rules by His might forever; His eyes keep watch upon the nations; let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah.
8 Bless our Elohim, you peoples, and make the voice of His praise to be heard; 9 Who has set our soul in life, and suffered not our foot to be moved, 10 For You, O Elohim, have tried us; You have refined us, as silver is refined. 11 You did bring us into the hold; You did lay constraint upon our loins. 12 You have caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water; but You did bring us out unto abundance. 13 I will come into Your house with Olot, I will perform unto You my vows, 14 Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth has spoken, when I was in distress. 15 I will offer unto You Olot of fatlings, with the sweet smoke of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah.
16 Come, and hearken, all you that fear Elohim, and I will declare what He has done for my soul. 17 I cried unto Him with my mouth, and He was extolled with my tongue. 18 If I had regarded iniquity in my heart, Adonai would not hear; 19 But indeed, Elohim has heard; He has attended to the voice of my tefilah. 20 Blessed is Elohim, who has not turned away my tefilah, nor His mercy from me.

Matti Chapter 5
1 When Yeshua saw the crowds, He went up to the mountain; and as He sat down, His Talmidim drew near to Him. 2 And He opened His mouth and taught them, and He said, 3 “Happy are the poor in spirit, for theirs is Malkhut HaShamayim. 4 Happy are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted. 5 Happy are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. 6 Happy are those who hunger and thirst for tzedaka, for they shall be well satisfied. 7 Happy are the merciful, for to them shall be mercy. 8 Happy are those who are pure in their hearts, for they shall see Elohim. 9 Happy are those who make shalom, for they shall be called sons of Elohim. 10 Happy are those who are persecuted for the sake of tzedaka, for theirs is Malkhut HaShamayim."
11 "Happy are you, when they reproach you and persecute you, and speak against you every kind of bad word, falsely, for my sake, 12 then, be glad and rejoice, for your reward is increased in heaven; for in this very manner they persecuted the Nevi'im who were before you."
13 "You are indeed the salt of the earth; but if the salt should lose its savor, with what could it be salted? It would not be worth anything, but to be thrown outside and to be trodden down by men. 14 You are indeed the light of the world; a city that is built upon a mountain cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, so it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 So let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and glorify Avikhem in Heaven."
17 "Do not expect that I have come to weaken the Torah or the Nevi'im; I have not come to weaken it, but to confirm it. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not even one yod, nor a stroke shall pass away from the Torah until everything comes to pass. 19 Whoever therefore tries to loosen even one of these smallest mitzvot, and teaches men so, he shall be regarded as small in Malkhut HaShamayim; but anyone who observes and teaches them, he shall be regarded as great in Malkhut HaShamayim. 20 For I say to you that unless your tzedaka exceeds that of the Sofrim and P’rushim, you shall not enter Malkhut HaShamayim.”
21 "You have heard that it was said to those who were before you, ‘You shall not murder,' and ‘whoever murders is guilty before the court.' 22 But I say to you that whoever becomes angry with his brother for no reason is guilty before the court: and whoever should say to his brother, ‘Good For Nothing!' is guilty before the Sanhedrin; and whoever says to his brother, ‘You crazy fool!,' is condemned to the fire of Gehinom. 23 If it should happen therefore that while you are presenting your offering upon the Mizbe'akh, and right there you remember that your brother has any grievance against you, 24 leave your offering there upon the Mizbe'akh, and first go and reconcile with your brother, and then come back and present your offering. 25 Try to get reconciled with your accuser promptly, while you are going on the road with him; for your accuser might surrender you to the judge, and the judge would commit you to the jailer, and you will be cast into prison. 26 Truly I say to you, that you would never come out from there until you had paid the last coin.”
27 "You have heard that it is said, ‘you shall not commit adultery.' 28 But I say to you, that whoever looks at a woman with the desire to covet her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye should cause you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you; for it is better for you to lose one of your members, and not all your body fall into Gehinom. 30 And if your right hand should cause you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away from you; for it is better for you to lose one of your members, and not all your body fall into Gehinom. 31 It has been said that whoever sends his wife away must give her a sefer kritut [certificate of divorce]. 32 But I say to you that whoever sends away his wife, except upon an occasion of fornication, causes her to commit adultery; and whoever takes her who is so sent away commits adultery."
33 "Again, you have heard it was said to them who were before you that you shall not lie in your oaths, but trust your oaths to יהוה . But 34 I say to you, never swear; neither by heaven, because it is the throne of Elohim; 35 nor by the earth, for it is a stool under His feet; nor by Yerushalayim, for it is the city of a great king. 36 Neither shall you swear by your own head, because you cannot create in it a single black or white hair. 37 But let your words be yes, yes, and no, no; for anything which adds to these is evil."
38 "You have heard that it is said, ‘An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.' 39 But I say to you that you should not resist evil; but whoever strikes you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also. 40 And if anyone wishes to sue you at the court and take away your tunic, let him have your robe also. 41 Whoever compels you to carry a burden for a mile, go with him two. 42 Whoever asks from you, give him; and whoever wishes to borrow from you, do not refuse him."
43 "You have heard that it is said, ‘Be kind to your friend, and hate your enemy.' 44 But I say to you, ‘Love your enemies,' and bless anyone who curses you, and do good to anyone who hates you, and pray for them who carry you away by force and persecute you, 45 so that you may become sons of Avikhem who is in heaven, who causes His sun to shine upon the good and upon the bad, and who pours down His rain upon the just and upon the unjust. 46 For if you love only those who love you, what reward will you have? Do not even the publicans do the same thing? 47 And if you greet only your brothers, what is it more that you do? Do not even the publicans do the same thing? 48 Therefore, become perfect, just as Avikhem in Heaven is perfect." | מתי פרק ה

Hitgalut Chapter 15
1 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven Malakhim having the seven last plagues; for in them is fulfilled the wrath of Elohim. 2 And I saw what looked like a sea of glass mingled with fire; and those who were victorious over the beast of prey and over his image, and over the number of his name, were standing on the sea of glass and had the kinorot of Elohim. 3 And they were singing the song of Moshe, the servant of Elohim, and the song of HaSeh, saying,
“Great and marvelous are Your works, O יהוה Elohim Okhez Hakol; just and true are Your ways, O Melekh HaOlamim. 4 Who shall not revere You, O יהוה , and glorify Your Name? For You alone are a Kadosh One and a Tzadik. So all nations shall come and worship before You; for Your Tzedaka has been revealed.”
5 And after these things, I looked, and behold, the Heikhal of the Mishkan of the testimony in heaven was opened; 6 and the seven Malakhim having the seven plagues came out of the Heikhal, clothed in pure and fine linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles. 7 And one of the four creatures gave to the seven Malakhim seven golden bowls full of the wrath of Elohim who lives forever and ever. 8 And the Heikhal was filled with smoke from the glory of Elohim and from His power; and no man was able to enter into the Heikhal until the seven plagues of the seven Malakhim were fulfilled. | התגלות פרק טו
