D'varim Chapter 26
1"And it shall be, when you come in unto the land which יהוה your Elohim gives you for an inheritance, and possess it, and dwell therein, 2 that you shall take of the first of all the fruit of the ground, which you shall bring in from your land that יהוה your Elohim gives you; and you shall put it in a basket and shall go unto the place which יהוה your Elohim shall choose to cause His Name to dwell there.
3 And you shall come unto the kohen that shall be in those days, and say unto him, 'I profess this day unto יהוה your Elohim, that I am come unto the land which יהוה swore unto our fathers to give us.' 4 And the kohen shall take the basket out of your hand, and set it down before the Mizbe'akh of יהוה your Elohim. 5 And you shall speak and say before יהוה your Elohim, 'A wandering Arami was my father, and he went down into Mitzrayim, and sojourned there, few in number; and he became there a nation, great, mighty, and populous.
6 And Mitzrayim dealt ill with us, and afflicted us, and laid upon us hard bondage.
7 And we cried unto יהוה , the Elohim of our fathers, and יהוה heard our voice, and saw our affliction, and our toil, and our oppression. 8 And יהוה brought us forth out of Mitzrayim with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders. 9 And He has brought us into this place, and has given us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey. 10 And now, behold, I have brought the first of the fruit of the land, which You, O יהוה , have given me.' And you shall set it down before יהוה your Elohim, and worship before יהוה your Elohim.
11 And you shall rejoice in all the good which יהוה your Elohim has given unto you, and unto your house, you, and the Levi, and the stranger that is in the midst of you."
12 "When you have made an end of tithing all the tithe of your increase in the third year, which is the year of tithing, and have given it unto HaLevi, to the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, that they may eat within your gates, and be satisfied,
13 then you shall say before יהוה your Elohim, 'I have put away the hallowed things out of my house, and also have given them unto the Levi, and unto the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all Your Mitzvah which You have commanded me; I have not transgressed any of Your Mitzvot, neither have I forgotten them. 14 I have not eaten thereof in my mourning, neither have I put away thereof, being unclean, nor given thereof for the dead; I have hearkened to the voice of יהוה my Elohim, I have done according to all that You have commanded me.
15 Look forth from Your consecrated habitation, from heaven, and bless Your people Yisra'el, and the land which You have given us, as You did swear unto our fathers, a land flowing with milk and honey'."
16 "This day יהוה your Elohim commands you to do these Khukot and Mishpatim; you shall therefore observe and do them with all your heart, and with all your soul. 17 You have avouched יהוה this day to be your Elohim, and that you would walk in His ways, and keep His Khukot, and His Mitzvot, and His Mishpatim, and hearken unto His voice. 18 And יהוה has avouched you this day to be His own treasure, as He has promised you, and that you should keep all His Mitzvot; 19 and to make you high above all nations that He has made, in praise, and in name, and in glory; and that you may be a kadosh people unto יהוה your Elohim, as He has spoken."

D'varim Chapter 27
1 And Moshe and the elders of Yisra'el commanded the people, saying, "Keep all the Mitzvah which I command you this day.
2 And it shall be on the day when you shall pass over the Yarden unto the land which יהוה your Elohim gives you, that you shall set you up great stones, and plaster them with plaster. 3 And you shall write upon them all the words of this Torah, when you are passed over; that you may go in unto the land which יהוה your Elohim gives you, a land flowing with milk and honey, as יהוה , the Elohim of your fathers, has promised you. 4 And it shall be when you are passed over the Yarden, that you shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in mount Eval, and you shall plaster them with plaster. 5 And there shall you build a Mizbe'akh unto יהוה your Elohim, a Mizbe'akh of stones; you shall lift up no iron tool upon them. 6 You shall build the Mizbe'akh of יהוה your Elohim of unhewn stones; and you shall offer Olot thereon unto יהוה your Elohim. 7 And you shall sacrifice Sh'lamim, and shall eat there; and you shall rejoice before יהוה your Elohim. 8 And you shall write upon the stones all the words of this Torah very plainly."
9 And Moshe and the Kohanim the Levi'im spoke unto all Yisra'el, saying, "Keep silence, and hear, O Yisra'el; this day you are become a people unto יהוה your Elohim. 10 You shall therefore hearken to the voice of יהוה your Elohim, and do His Mitzvot and His Khukot, which I command you this day." 11 And Moshe charged the people the same day, saying, 12 "These shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people, when you are passed over the Yarden: Shimon, and Levi, and Yehudah, and Yisakhar, and Yosef, and Binyamin; 13 and these shall stand upon mount Eval for the curse: Re'uven, Gad, and Asher, and Zevulun, Dan, and Naftali. 14 And the Levi'im shall speak, and say unto all the men of Yisra'el with a loud voice, 15 'Cursed is the man that makes a graven or molten image, an abomination unto יהוה , the work of the hands of the craftsman, and sets it up in secret'. And all the people shall answer and say, 'Amein.' 16 'Cursed is he that dishonors his father or his mother.' And all the people shall say, 'Amein.' 17 'Cursed is he that removes his neighbor's landmark.' And all the people shall say, 'Amein.' 18 'Cursed is he that makes the blind to go astray in the way.' And all the people shall say, 'Amein.' 19 'Cursed is he that perverts the justice due to the stranger, fatherless, and widow.' And all the people shall say, 'Amein.' 20 'Cursed is he that lies with his father's wife; because he has uncovered his father's skirt.' And all the people shall say, 'Amein.' 21 'Cursed is he that lies with any manner of beast.' And all the people shall say, 'Amein.' 22 'Cursed is he that lies with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother.' And all the people shall say, 'Amein.' 23 'Cursed is he that lies with his mother-in-law.' And all the people shall say, 'Amein.' 24 'Cursed is he that smites his neighbor in secret.' And all the people shall say, 'Amein.' 25 'Cursed is he that takes a bribe to slay an innocent person.' And all the people shall say, 'Amein.' 26 'Cursed is he that confirms not the words of this Torah, to do them.' And all the people shall say, 'Amein'." | דברים פרק כז

D'varim Chapter 28
1 "And it shall come to pass, if you shall hearken diligently unto the voice of יהוה your Elohim, to observe to do all His Mitzvot which I command you this day, that יהוה your Elohim will set you on high above all the nations of the earth. 2 And all these blessings shall come upon you, and overtake you, if you shall hearken unto the voice of יהוה your Elohim. 3 Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the field. 4 Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, and the fruit of your land, and the fruit of your cattle, the increase of your kine, and the young of your flock. 5 Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading-trough. 6 Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out. 7 יהוה will cause your enemies that rise up against you to be smitten before you; they shall come out against you one way, and shall flee before you seven ways. 8 יהוה will command the blessing with you in your barns, and in all that you put your hand unto; and He will bless you in the land which יהוה your Elohim gives you. 9 יהוה will establish you as an Am Kadosh unto Himself, as He has sworn unto you; if you shall keep the Mitzvot of יהוה your Elohim, and walk in His ways. 10 And all the peoples of the earth shall see that the Name of יהוה is called upon you; and they shall be afraid of you. 11 And יהוה will make you over-abundant for good, in the fruit of your body, and in the fruit of your cattle, and in the fruit of your land, in the land which יהוה swore unto your fathers to give you. 12 יהוה will open unto you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain of your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand; and you shall lend unto many nations, but you shall not borrow. 13 And יהוה will make you the head, and not the tail; and you shall be above only, and you shall not be beneath; if you shall hearken unto the Mitzvot of יהוה your Elohim, which I command you this day, to observe and to do them, 14 and shall not turn aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods, to serve them."
15 "But it shall come to pass, if you will not hearken unto the voice of יהוה your Elohim, to observe to do all His Mitzvot and His Khukot which I command you this day, that all these curses shall come upon you, and overtake you. 16 Cursed shall you be in the city, and cursed shall you be in the field. 17 Cursed shall be your basket and your kneading-trough. 18 Cursed shall be the fruit of your body, and the fruit of your land, the increase of your kine, and the young of your flock. 19 Cursed shall you be when you come in, and cursed shall you be when you go out. 20 יהוה will send upon you cursing, discomfiture, and rebuke, in all that you put your hand unto to do, until you are destroyed, and until you perish quickly, because of the evil of your doings, whereby you have forsaken Me. 21 יהוה will make the pestilence cleave unto you, until He has consumed you from off the land, where you go in to possess it. 22 יהוה will smite you with consumption, and with fever, and with inflammation, and with fiery heat, and with drought, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue you until you perish. 23 And your heaven that is over your head shall be brass, and the earth that is under you shall be iron. 24 יהוה will make the rain of your land powder and dust; from heaven shall it come down upon you, until you are destroyed. 25 יהוה will cause you to be smitten before your enemies; you shall go out one way against them, and shall flee seven ways before them; and you shall be a horror unto all the kingdoms of the earth. 26 And your carcasses shall be food unto all fowls of the air, and unto the beasts of the earth, and there shall be none to frighten them away. 27 יהוה will smite you with the boil of Mitzrayim, and with the emerods, and with the scab, and with the itch, whereof you cannot be healed. 28 יהוה will smite you with madness, and with blindness, and with astonishment of heart. 29 And you shall grope at noonday, as the blind gropes in darkness, and you shall not make your ways prosperous; and you shall be only oppressed and robbed always, and there shall be none to save you. 30 You shall betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her; you shall build a house, and you shall not dwell therein; you shall plant a vineyard, and shall not use the fruit thereof. 31 Your ox shall be slain before your eyes, and you shall not eat thereof; your donkey shall be violently taken away from before your face, and shall not be restored to you; your sheep shall be given unto your enemies; and you shall have none to save you. 32 Your sons and your daughters shall be given unto another people, and your eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day; and there shall be nought in the power of your hand. 33 The fruit of your land, and all your labors, shall a nation which you know not eat up; and you shall be only oppressed and crushed away, 34 so that you shall be mad for the sight of your eyes which you shall see. 35 יהוה will smite you in the knees, and in the legs, with a sore boil, whereof you cannot be healed, from the sole of your foot unto the crown of your head. 36 יהוה will bring you, and your Melekh whom you shall set over you, unto a nation that you have not known, you nor your fathers; and there shall you serve other gods, wood and stone. 37 And you shall become an astonishment, a mashal, and a byword, among all the peoples where יהוה shall lead you away. 38 You shall carry much seed out into the field, and shall gather little in; for the locust shall consume it. 39 You shall plant vineyards and dress them, but you shall neither drink of the wine, nor gather the grapes, for the worm shall eat them. 40 You shall have olive trees throughout all your borders, but you shall not anoint yourself with the oil; for your olives shall drop off. 41 You shall beget sons and daughters, but they shall not be yours, for they shall go into captivity. 42 All your trees and the fruit of your land shall the locust possess. 43 The stranger that is in the midst of you shall mount up above you higher and higher; and you shall come down lower and lower. 44 He shall lend to you, and you shall not lend to him; he shall be the head, and you shall be the tail. 45 And all these curses shall come upon you, and shall pursue you, and overtake you, till you are destroyed; because you did not hearken unto the voice of יהוה your Elohim, to keep His Mitzvot and His Khukot which He commanded you. 46 And they shall be upon you for a sign and for a wonder, and upon your seed forever; 47 because you did not serve יהוה your Elohim with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, by reason of the abundance of all things; 48 therefore shall you serve your enemy whom יהוה shall send against you, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things; and he shall put a yoke of iron upon your neck, until he has destroyed you. 49 יהוה will bring a nation against you from afar, from the end of the earth, as the vulture swoops down; a nation whose tongue you shall not understand; 50 a nation of fierce countenance, that shall not regard the person of the old, nor show favor to the young. 51 And he shall eat the fruit of your cattle, and the fruit of your ground, until you are destroyed; that also shall not leave you grain, choice wine, or oil, the increase of your kine, or the young of your flock, until he has caused you to perish. 52 And he shall besiege you in all your gates, until your high and fortified walls come down, wherein you did trust, throughout all your land; and he shall besiege you in all your gates throughout all your land, which יהוה your Elohim has given you. 53 And you shall eat the fruit of your own body, the flesh of your sons and of your daughters whom יהוה your Elohim has given you; in the siege and in the distress, wherewith your enemies shall distress you. 54 The man that is tender among you, and very delicate, his eye shall be evil against his brother, and against the wife of his bosom, and against the remnant of his children whom he has remaining, 55 so that he will not give to any of them of the flesh of his children whom he shall eat, because he has nothing left to him; in the siege and in the distress, wherewith your enemy shall distress you in all your gates. 56 The tender and delicate woman among you, who would not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil against the husband of her bosom, and against her son, and against her daughter; 57 and against her afterbirth that comes out from between her feet, and against her children whom she shall bear; for she shall eat them for want of all things, secretly; in the siege and in the distress, wherewith your enemy shall distress you in your gates. 58 If you will not observe to do all the words of this Torah that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and awesome Name of יהוה your Elohim, 59 then יהוה will make your plagues astonishing, and the plagues of your seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance. 60 And He will bring back upon you all the diseases of Mitzrayim, which you were in dread of; and they shall cleave unto you. 61 Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this Torah, them will יהוה bring upon you, until you are destroyed. 62 And you shall be left few in number, whereas you were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because you did not hearken unto the voice of יהוה your Elohim. 63 And it shall come to pass, that as יהוה rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you, so יהוה will rejoice over you to cause you to perish, and to destroy you; and you shall be plucked from off the land where you go in to possess it. 64 And יהוה shall scatter you among all peoples, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth; and there you shall serve other gods, which you have not known, you nor your fathers, even wood and stone. 65 And among these nations shall you have no repose, and there shall be no rest for the sole of your foot; but יהוה shall give you there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and languishing of soul. 66 And your life shall hang in doubt before you; and you shall fear night and day, and shall have no assurance of your life. 67 In the morning you shall say, 'Would that it were evening!' and in the evening you shall say, 'Would that it were morning!' for the fear of your heart which you shall fear, and for the sight of your eyes which you shall see. 68 And יהוה shall bring you back into Mitzrayim in ships, by the way whereof I said unto you, 'You shall see it no more again;' and there you shall sell yourselves unto your enemies for servants and for maidservants, and no man shall buy you."
69 These are the words of the Brit which יהוה commanded Moshe to make with B'nei Yisra'el in the land of Mo'av, from the one Brit which He made with them in Khorev.

D'varim Chapter 29
1 And Moshe called unto all Yisra'el, and said unto them, "You have seen all that יהוה did before your eyes in the land of Mitzrayim unto Paroh, and unto all his servants, and unto all his land; 2 the great trials which your eyes saw, the signs and those great wonders; 3 but יהוה has not given you a heart to know, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day. 4 And I have led you forty years in the wilderness; your clothes are not waxed old upon you, and your shoe is not waxed old upon your foot. 5 You have not eaten bread, neither have you drunk wine or strong drink, that you might know that I am יהוה your Elohim. 6 And when you came unto this place, Sikhon the king of Kheshbon, and Og the king of Bashan, came out against us unto battle, and we smote them. 7 And we took their land, and gave it for an inheritance unto the Re'uveni, and to the Gadi, and to half the tribe of the Manashi. 8 Observe therefore the words of this Brit, and do them, that you may make all that you do to prosper."

HAFTARAH | |
Yesha-Yahu Chapter 60
1 "Arise, shine, for your light is come, and the Kavod יהוה is risen upon you.
2 For, behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and extreme darkness for the peoples; but upon you יהוה will arise, and His Kavod shall be seen upon you.
3 And nations shall walk at your light, and kings at the brightness of your rising.
4 Lift up your eyes round about, and see: they all are gathered together, and come to you; your sons come from afar, and your daughters are borne on the side.
5 Then you shall see and be radiant, and your heart shall throb and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be turned unto you, the wealth of the nations shall come unto you.
6 The caravan of camels shall cover you, and of the young camels of Midyan and Efah, all coming from Sheva; they shall bring gold and incense, and shall proclaim the praises of יהוה . All
7 the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto you, the rams of Nevayot shall minister unto you; they shall come up with acceptance on My Mizbe'akh, and I will glorify My glorious house.
8 Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their cotes?
9 Surely the isles shall wait for Me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring your sons from afar, their silver and their gold with them, for the Name of יהוה your Elohim, and for the Kadosh One of Yisra'el, because He has glorified you.
10 And aliens shall build up your walls, and their kings shall minister unto you; for in My wrath I smote you, but in My favor have I had compassion on you.
11 Your gates also shall be open continually, day and night, they shall not be shut, that men may bring unto you the wealth of the nations, and their kings in procession.
12 For that nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish; yes, those nations shall be utterly wasted.
13 The glory of Levanon shall come unto you, the cypress, the plane tree and the larch together; to beautify the place of My Mikdash, and I will make the place of My feet glorious.
14 And the sons of them that afflicted you shall come bending unto you, and all they that despised you shall bow down at the soles of your feet; and they shall call you the 'Ir יהוה , Tzion of the Kadosh One of Yisra'el'.
15 Whereas you have been forsaken and hated, so that no man passed through you, I will make you an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.
16 You shall also nurse on the milk of the nations, and shall nurse at the breast of kings; and you shall know that I, יהוה , am your Moshiah, and I, the Mighty One of Ya'akov, your Go'el.
17 For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron; I will also make your officers shalom, and tzedaka your magistrates.
18 Violence shall no more be heard in your land, desolation nor destruction within your borders; but you shall call your walls Yeshua[h], and your gates Tehillah.
19 The sun shall be no more your light by day, neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto you; but יהוה shall be unto you an everlasting light, and your Elohim your glory.
20 Your sun shall no more go down, neither shall your moon withdraw itself; for יהוה shall be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall be ended.
21 Your people also shall all be Tzadikim, they shall inherit the land forever; the branch of My planting, the work of My hands, wherein I glory.
22 The smallest shall become a thousand, and the least a mighty nation; I, יהוה , will hasten it in its time." | יְשַׁעְיָהוּ פרק ס

Tehillah (Psalm) 51
1 For the Leader. A Mizmor of David.
2 When Natan HaNavi came unto him, after he had gone in to Bat Sheva.
3 Be gracious unto me, O Elohim, according to Your compassion; according to the
multitude of Your mercies blot out my transgressions.
4 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
5 For I know my transgressions; and my sin is ever before me.
6 Against You, You only, have I sinned, and done that which is evil in Your sight; that
You may be justified when You speak, and be in the right when You judge.
7 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.
8 Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts; make me, therefore, to know wisdom in
my inmost heart.
9 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
10 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which You have crushed may
rejoice.
11 Hide Your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities.
12 Create for me a clean heart, O Elohim; and renew a stedfast ru'akh within me.
13 Cast me not away from Your presence; and take not Your Ru'akh HaKodesh from
me.
14 Restore unto me the joy of Your Salvation; and let a willing Ru'akh uphold me.
15 Then will I teach transgressors Your ways; and sinners shall return unto You.
16 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O Elohim, You, O Elohim of my Salvation; so
shall my tongue sing aloud of Your tzedaka.
17 O Adonai, open my lips; and my mouth shall declare Your praise.
18 For You delight not in sacrifice, else would I give it; You have no pleasure in Olot.
19 The sacrifices of Elohim are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O Elohim,
You will not despise.
20 Do good in Your favor unto Tzion; build the walls of Yerushalayim.
21 Then will You delight in the sacrifices of righteousness, in Olot and whole offering;
then will they offer bullocks upon Your Mizbe'akh.

Matti Chapter 13
1 That same day Yeshua went out of the house and sat by the seaside.
2 And many people gathered around Him so that He had to go up and sit in a boat, and all the people stood on the seashore. 3 And He spoke many things to them in mishlim, and said, “Behold the sower went out to sow;
4 and when he had sown, some seed fell on the roadside, and the fowls came and ate it.
5 Other fell upon the rock, where there was not sufficient soil; and it sprang up earlier because the ground was not deep enough;
6 but when the sun shone, it was scorched, and because it had no root, it dried up; 7 and other fell among thistles, and the thistles sprung up and choked it. 8 And other fell in good soil, and bore fruit, some one hundred, and some sixty, and some thirty.
9 He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”
10 Then His Talmidim drew near to Him and said, “Why do you speak to them in mishlim?”
11 He answered and said to them, “Because to you it is granted to know the sod of Malkhut HaShamayim, but it is not granted to them.
12 For to him who has it shall be given, and it shall increase to him; but to him who has not, even that which he has shall be taken away from him.
13 This is the reason I speak to them in mishlim, because they see and yet cannot perceive; and they hear and yet do not listen, nor do they understand.
14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Yesha-Yahu who said, ‘Hearing you will hear, but you will not understand; and seeing you will see, but you will not know. 15 For the heart of this people has become hardened, and their ears hard of hearing, and their eyes are dull; so that they cannot see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts; let them return, and I will heal them.'
16 But as for you, happy are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear.
17 For truly I say to you, a great many Nevi'im and Tzadikim have longed to see what you see, and did not see it; and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.”
18 “Now you, listen to the mashal of the seed.
19 Whoever hears the D'var HaMalkhut and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away HaDavar which has been sown in his heart. This is that which was sown on the roadside.
20 That which was sown upon the rock, this is he who hears HaDavar, and immediately accepts it with joy;
21 but it has no root in him, except for a while; and when trouble or persecution comes because of HaDavar, he immediately stumbles.
22 That which was sown among thistles, this is he who hears HaDavar, but worldly thoughts and the deception caused by riches choke HaDavar, and it becomes fruitless.
23 That which was sown upon good soil, this is he who hears D'varai, and understands it, so he bears fruit and produces some one hundred, and some sixty, and some thirty.” | מתי פרק יג

Luka Chapter 23
26 And while they took Him away, they laid hold of Shimon, a Kurini, who was coming from a village, and they placed the end of the execution stake on him, to carry it with Yeshua.
27 And many people followed Him, and the women who were mourning and wailing over Him.
28 But Yeshua turned to them and said, “O daughters of Yerushalayim, do not weep over me; but weep over yourselves and over your own children.
29 For behold, the days are coming in which they will say, ‘Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never gave birth, and the breasts that never nursed.' 30 Then they will begin to say to the mountains, ‘Fall on us;' and to the hills, ‘Cover us.'
31 For if they do these things with the green tree, what will be done with dry wood?”
32 And there were coming with Him two others, malefactors, to be put to death. 33 And when they came to a place which is called ‘Gulgolet,' they executed Him there, and the malefactors, one on His right and one on His left.
34 And Yeshua said, “O Abba, forgive them, for they know not what they are doing.” And they divided His garments and cast lots over them.
35 The people stood looking on. And even the leaders of the Beit K'nesset mocked Him, and said, “He saved others; let Him save Himself, if He is the Mashi'akh, the chosen one of Elohim.”
36 And the soldiers ridiculed Him, as they came near Him and offered Him vinegar,
37 saying to Him, “If you are Melekh HaY'hudim, save yourself.”
38 There was also an inscription which was written over Him, in Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew,
" זה הוא מלך היהודים ”
ὁ βασιλεὺς τῶν Ἰουδαίων οὗτος
HIC EST REX IUDAEORUM
[This is The King of the Yehudim]
39 Now one of the malefactors who were executed with Him blasphemed against Him, saying, “If you are the Mashi'akh, deliver yourself, and deliver us also.”
40 But the other rebuked him and said to him, “Do you not fear even Elohim, for you are also in the same judgment?
41 And ours is just, for we are paid as we deserve and as we have done; but He has done nothing wrong.”
42 And he said to Yeshua, “Remember me, My Adon, when you come into your kingdom.”
43 Yeshua said to him, “Truly I say to you that today you will be with me in Paradise.”
44 Now it was about the sixth hour, and darkness fell upon the whole earth, and lasted until the ninth hour.
45 And the sun was darkened, and the veil at the door of the Heikhal was torn in the center.
46 Then Yeshua cried with a loud voice, saying, “O Avi, into Your hands I commit my spirit.” He said this, and it was finished.
47 When the centurion saw what had happened, he praised Elohim and said, “Truly this great man, He is a Tzadik.”
48 And all the people who were gathered together to see this sight, when they saw what had happened, returned, beating their breasts.
49 And all the acquaintances of Yeshua stood afar off, and the women who had come with Him from the Galil, and they were beholding these things.
50 There was a man named Yosef the counselor of Ramatayim, a city of Y'hudah, a good man and a Tzadik.
51 He did not agree with their wishes and their actions; and he waited for Malkhut HaElohim.
52 He went to Pilatos and asked for the body of Yeshua.
53 And he took it down and wrapped it in fine linen, and laid it in a hewn tomb in which no one was ever laid.
54 And the day was passing, and the start of Sabbath was approaching.
55 The women who had come with Him from the Galil were near, and they saw the tomb and how His body was laid.
56 And they returned and prepared spices and perfumes. And on Shabbat they rested, as commanded. | לוקא פרק כג
