B'reshit Chapter 28
10 And Ya'akov went out from Be'er Shava, and went toward Kharan. 11 And he lighted upon the place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took one of the stones of the place, and put it under his head, and lay down in that place to sleep. 12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven; and behold the messengers of Elohim ascending and descending on it. 13 And, behold, יהוה stood beside him, and said, "I am יהוה , the Elohim of Avraham your father, and the Elohim of Yitz'khak. The land whereon you lie, to you will I give it, and to your seed. 14 And your seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and you shall spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south. And in you and in your seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. 15 And, behold, I am with you, and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back into this land; for I will not leave you, until I have done that which I have spoken to you of." 16 And Ya'akov awaked out of his sleep, and he said, "Surely יהוה is in this place, and I knew it not." 17 And he was afraid, and said, "How full of awe is this place! This is none other than Beit Elohim, and this is Sha'ar HaShamayim." 18 And Ya'akov rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put under his head, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil upon the top of it. 19 And he called the name of that place Beit El, but the name of the city was Luz at the first. 20 And Ya'akov vowed a vow, saying, "If Elohim will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on, 21 so that I come back to my father’s house in shalom, then shall יהוה be my Elohim, 22 and this stone, which I have set up for a pillar, shall be Beit Elohim; and of all that you shall give me I will surely give the tenth unto you."

B'reshit Chapter 29
1 Then Ya'akov went on his journey, and came to the land of the children of the east. 2 And he looked, and behold a well in the field, and, lo, three flocks of sheep lying there by it. For out of that well they watered the flocks. And the stone upon the well’s mouth was great. 3 And there were all the flocks gathered; and they rolled the stone from the well’s mouth, and watered the sheep, and put the stone back upon the well’s mouth in its place.
4 And Ya'akov said unto them, "My brethren, where are you from?" And they said, "Of Kharan are we." 5 And he said unto them, "Do you know Lavan Ben Nakhor?" And they said, "We know him." 6 And he said unto them, "Is it well with him?" And they said, "It is well; and, behold, Rakhel his daughter comes with the sheep." 7 And he said, "Lo, it is yet high day, neither is it time that the cattle should be gathered together; water the sheep, and go and feed them." 8 And they said, "We cannot, until all the flocks are gathered together, and they roll the stone from the well’s mouth; then we water the sheep." 9 While he was yet speaking with them, Rakhel came with her father’s sheep; for she tended them. 10 And it came to pass, when Ya'akov saw Rakhel the daughter of Lavan his mother’s brother, and the sheep of Lavan his mother’s brother, that Ya'akov went near, and rolled the stone from the well’s mouth, and watered the flock of Lavan his mother’s brother. 11 And Ya'akov kissed Rakhel, and lifted up his voice, and wept. 12 And Ya'akov told Rakhel that he was her father’s brother, and that he was Rivkah’s son; and she ran and told her father. 13 And it came to pass, when Lavan heard the tidings of Ya'akov his sister’s son, that he ran to meet him, and embraced him, and kissed him, and brought him to his house. And he told Lavan all these things. 14 And Lavan said to him, "Surely you are my bone and my flesh." And he abode with him the space of a khodesh. 15 And Lavan said unto Ya'akov, "Because you are my brother, should you therefore serve me for nought? Tell me, what shall your wages be?" 16 Now Lavan had two daughters: the name of the elder was Le'ah, and the name of the younger was Rakhel. 17 And Le'ah’s eyes were weak; but Rakhel was of beautiful form and fair to look upon. 18 And Ya'akov loved Rakhel; and he said, "I will serve you seven years for Rakhel your younger daughter." 19 And Lavan said, "It is better that I give her to you, than that I should give her to another man; abide with me." 20 And Ya'akov served seven years for Rakhel; and they seemed unto him but a few days, for the love he had to her. 21 And Ya'akov said unto Lavan, "Give me my wife, for my days are filled, that I may go in unto her." 22 And Lavan gathered together all the men of the place, and made a feast. 23 And it came to pass in the evening, that he took Le'ah his daughter, and brought her to him; and he went in unto her. 24 And Lavan gave Zilpah his handmaid unto his daughter Le'ah for a handmaid. 25 And it came to pass in the morning that, behold, it was Le'ah; and he said to Lavan, "What is this you have done unto me? Did not I serve with you for Rakhel? Why then have you beguiled me?" 26 And Lavan said, "It is not so done in our place, to give the younger before the firstborn. 27 Fulfill the week of this one, and we will give you the other also for the service which you shall serve with me yet seven other years." 28 And Ya'akov did so, and fulfilled her week; and he gave him Rakhel his daughter as a wife. 29 And Lavan gave to Rakhel his daughter Bilhah his handmaid to be her handmaid. 30 And he went in also unto Rakhel, and he loved Rakhel more than Le'ah, and served with him yet seven other years. 31 And יהוה saw that Le'ah was hated, and he opened her womb; but Rakhel was barren. 32 And Le'ah conceived, and bore a son, and she called his name Re'uven; for she said, "Because יהוה has looked upon my affliction; for now my husband will love me." 33 And she conceived again, and bore a son; and said, "Because יהוה has heard that I am hated, He has therefore given me this son also." And she called his name Shimon. 34 And she conceived again, and bore a son; and said, "Now this time will my husband be joined unto me, because I have borne him three sons." Therefore was his name called Levi. 35 And she conceived again, and bore a son; and she said, "This time will I praise יהוה ." Therefore she called his name Yehudah; and she left off bearing.

B'reshit Chapter 30
1 And when Rakhel saw that she bore Ya'akov no children, Rakhel envied her sister; and she said unto Ya'akov, "Give me children, or else I die." 2 And Ya'akov’s anger was kindled against Rakhel; and he said, "Am I in place of Elohim, who has withheld from you the fruit of the womb?" 3 And she said, "Behold my maid Bilhah, go in unto her, that she may bear upon my knees, and I also may be builded up through her." 4 And she gave him Bilhah her handmaid as a wife; and Ya'akov went in unto her. 5 And Bilhah conceived, and bore Ya'akov a son. 6 And Rakhel said, "Elohim has judged me, and has also heard my voice, and has given me a son." Therefore called she his name Dan. 7 And Bilhah Rakhel’s handmaid conceived again, and bore Ya'akov a second son. 8 And Rakhel said, "With mighty wrestlings have I wrestled with my sister, and have prevailed." And she called his name Naftali. 9 When Le'ah saw that she had left off bearing, she took Zilpah her handmaid, and gave her to Ya'akov as a wife. 10 And Zilpah Le'ah’s handmaid bore Ya'akov a son. 11 And Le'ah said, "Fortune is come!" And she called his name Gad. 12 And Zilpah Le'ah’s handmaid bore Ya'akov a second son. 13 And Le'ah said, "Happy am I! For the daughters will call me happy." And she called his name Asher. 14 And Re'uven went in the days of wheat harvest, and found dudayim in the field, and brought them unto his mother Le'ah. Then Rakhel said to Le'ah, "Give me, I pray, of your son's dudayim." 15 And she said unto her, "Is it a small matter that you have taken away my husband? And would you take away my son's dudayim also?" And Rakhel said, "Therefore, he shall lie with you tonight for your son's dudayim." 16 And Ya'akov came from the field in the evening, and Le'ah went out to meet him, and said, "You must come in unto me; for I have surely hired you with my son's dudayim." And he lay with her that night. 17 And Elohim hearkened unto Le'ah, and she conceived, and bore Ya'akov a fifth son. 18 And Le'ah said, "Elohim has given me my hire, because I gave my handmaid to my husband." And she called his name Yisakhar. 19 And Le'ah conceived again, and bore a sixth son to Ya'akov. 20 And Le'ah said, "Elohim has endowed me with a good dowry; now will my husband dwell with me, because I have borne him six sons." And she called his name Zevulun. 21 And afterwards she bore a daughter, and called her name Dinah. 22 And Elohim remembered Rakhel, and Elohim hearkened to her, and opened her womb. 23 And she conceived, and bore a son, and said, "Elohim has taken away my reproach." 24 And she called his name Yosef, saying, " יהוה added to me another son."
25 And it came to pass, when Rakhel had borne Yosef, that Ya'akov said unto Lavan, "Send me away, that I may go unto my own place, and to my country. 26 Give me my wives and my children for whom I have served you, and let me go; for you know my service wherewith I have served you." 27 And Lavan said unto him, "If now I have found favor in your eyes, I have observed the signs, and יהוה has blessed me for your sake." 28 And he said, "Appoint me your wages, and I will give it." 29 And he said unto him, "You know how I have served you, and how your cattle have fared with me. 30 For it was little which you had before I came, and it has increased abundantly; and יהוה has blessed you wherever I turned. And now, when shall I provide for my own house also?" 31 And he said, "What shall I give you?" And Ya'akov said, "You shall not give me aught; if you will do this thing for me, I will again feed your flock and keep it. 32 I will pass through all your flock today, removing from there every speckled and spotted one, and every dark one among the sheep, and the spotted and speckled among the goats; and of such shall be my hire. 33 So shall my tzedaka witness against me hereafter, when you shall come to look over my hire that is before you: every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats, and dark among the sheep, that if found with me shall be counted stolen." 34 And Lavan said, "Behold, may it be according to your word." 35 And he removed that day the he-goats that were streaked and spotted, and all the she-goats that were speckled and spotted, every one that had white in it, and all the dark ones among the sheep, and gave them into the hand of his sons. 36 And he set three days' journey between himself and Ya'akov. And Ya'akov fed the rest of Lavan's flocks. 37 And Ya'akov took him rods of fresh poplar, and of the almond and of the plane tree; and peeled white streaks in them, making the white appear which was in the rods. 38 And he set the rods which he had peeled over against the flocks in the gutters in the watering-troughs where the flocks came to drink; and they conceived when they came to drink. 39 And the flocks conceived at the sight of the rods, and the flocks brought forth streaked, speckled, and spotted. 40 And Ya'akov separated the lambs, he also set the faces of the flocks toward the streaked and all the dark in the flock of Lavan, and put his own droves apart, and put them not unto Lavan's flock. 41 And it came to pass, whenever the stronger of the flock did conceive, that Ya'akov laid the rods before the eyes of the flock in the gutters, that they might conceive among the rods; 42 but when the flock were feeble, he put them not in; so the feebler were Lavan's, and the stronger Ya'akov's. 43 And the man increased exceedingly, and had large flocks, and maid-servants and men-servants, and camels and donkeys.

B'reshit Chapter 31
1 And he heard the words of Lavan's sons, saying, "Ya'akov has taken away all that was our father's; and of that which was our father's has he gotten all this wealth." 2 And Ya'akov beheld the countenance of Lavan, and, behold, it was not toward him as beforetime. 3 And יהוה said unto Ya'akov, "Return unto the land of your fathers, and to your kindred; and I will be with you." 4 And Ya'akov sent and called Rakhel and Le'ah to the field unto his flock, 5 and said unto them, "I see your father's countenance, that it is not toward me as beforetime; but the Elohim of my father has been with me. 6 And you know that with all my power I have served your father. 7 And your father has mocked me, and changed my wages ten times; but Elohim suffered him not to hurt me. 8 If he said thus, 'The speckled shall be your wages,' then all the flock bore speckled; and if he said thus, 'The streaked shall be your wages' then all the flock bore streaked. 9 Thus Elohim has taken away the cattle of your father, and given them to me. 10 And it came to pass at the time that the flock conceived, that I lifted up my eyes, and saw in a dream, and, behold, the he-goats which leaped upon the flock were streaked, speckled, and grizzled. 11 And the Malakh HaElohim said unto me in the dream, "Ya'akov;" and I said, "Here am I." 12 And he said, "Lift up now your eyes, and see, all the he-goats which leap upon the flock are streaked, speckled, and grizzled; for I have seen all that Lavan does unto you. 13 I am El Beit El, where you did anoint a pillar, where you did vow a vow unto Me. Now arise, get out from this land, and return unto the land of your birth." 14 And Rakhel and Le'ah answered and said unto him, "Is there yet any portion or inheritance for us in our father's house? 15 Are we not accounted by him strangers? For he has sold us, and has also quite devoured our price. 16 For all the riches which Elohim has taken away from our father, that is ours and our children's. Now then, whatever Elohim has said unto you, do." 17 Then Ya'akov rose up, and set his sons and his wives upon the camels; 18 and he carried away all his cattle, and all his substance which he had gathered, the cattle of his getting, which he had gathered in Padan Aram, to go to Yitz'khak his father unto the land of Kena'an. 19 Now Lavan was gone to shear his sheep. And Rakhel stole the terafim that were her father's. 20 And Ya'akov outwitted Lavan the Arami, in that he told him not that he fled. 21 So he fled with all that he had; and he rose up, and passed over the River, and set his face toward the mountain of Gilad. 22 And it was told Lavan on the third day that Ya'akov was fled. 23 And he took his brethren with him, and pursued after him seven days' journey; and he overtook him in the mountain of Gilad. 24 And Elohim came to Lavan the Arami in a dream of the night, and said unto him, "Take heed to yourself that you speak not to Ya'akov either good or bad." 25 And Lavan came up with Ya'akov. Now Ya'akov had pitched his tent in the mountain; and Lavan with his brethren pitched in the mountain of Gilad. 26 And Lavan said to Ya'akov, "What have you done, that you have outwitted me, and carried away my daughters as though captives of the sword? 27 Why did you flee secretly, and outwit me; and did not tell me, that I might have sent you away with mirth and with songs, with tabret and with harp; 28 and did not suffer me to kiss my sons and my daughters? Now have you done foolishly. 29 It is in the power of my hand to do you hurt; but the Elohim of your father spoke unto me last night, saying, 'Take heed to yourself that you speak not to Ya'akov either good or bad." 30 And now that you are surely gone, because you sorely long after your father's house, why have you stolen my gods?" 31 And Ya'akov answered and said to Lavan, "Because I was afraid; for I said, 'Lest you should take your daughters from me by force'." 32 With whomever you find your gods, he shall not live; before our brethren, discern what is yours with me, and take it to yourself." For Ya'akov knew not that Rakhel had stolen them. 33 And Lavan went into Ya'akov's tent, and into Le'ah's tent, and into the tent of the two maid-servants; but he found them not. And he went out of Le'ah's tent, and entered into Rakhel's tent. 34 Now Rakhel had taken the terafim, and put them in the saddle of the camel, and sat upon them. And Lavan felt about all the tent, but found them not. 35 And she said to her father, "Let not my Adon be angry that I cannot rise up before you; for the manner of women is upon me." And he searched, but found not the terafim. 36 And Ya'akov was wroth, and strove with Lavan. And Ya'akov answered and said to Lavan, "What is my trespass? What is my sin, that you have hotly pursued after me? 37 Whereas you have felt about all my stuff, what have you found of all your household stuff? Set it here before my brethren and your brethren, that they may judge between us two. 38 These twenty years have I been with you; your ewes and your she-goats have not cast their young, and the rams of your flocks have I not eaten. 39 That which was torn of beasts I brought not unto you; I bore the loss of it; of my hand did you require it, whether stolen by day or stolen by night. 40 Thus I was: in the day the drought consumed me, and the frost by night; and my sleep fled from my eyes. 41 These twenty years have I been in your house: I served you fourteen years for your two daughters, and six years for your flock; and you have changed my wages ten times. 42 Except the Elohim of my father, the Elohim of Avraham, and the Pakhad Yitz'khak, had been on my side, surely now you would have sent me away empty. Elohim has seen my affliction and the labor of my hands, and gave judgment last night." 43 And Lavan answered and said unto Ya'akov, "The daughters are my daughters, and the children are my children, and the flocks are my flocks, and all that you see is mine; and what can I do this day for these my daughters, or for their children whom they have borne? 44 And now come, let us make a Brit, I and you; and let it be for a witness between me and you." 45 And Ya'akov took a stone, and set it up for a pillar. 46 And Ya'akov said unto his brethren, "Gather stones;" and they took stones, and made a heap. And they did eat there by the heap. 47 And Lavan called it Yegar Sahaduta; but Ya'akov called it Galed. 48 And Lavan said, "This heap is witness between me and you this day." Therefore was the name of it called Galed; 49 and Mitzpah, for he said, " יהוה watch between me and you, when we are absent one from another. 50 If you shall afflict my daughters, and if you shall take wives beside my daughters, no man being with us; see, Elohim is witness between me and you." 51 And Lavan said to Ya'akov, "Behold this heap, and behold the pillar, which I have set up between me and you. 52 This heap is witness, and the pillar is witness, that I will not pass over this heap to you, and that you shall not pass over this heap and this pillar unto me, for harm. 53 The Elohim of Avraham, and the Elohim of Nakhor, the Elohim of their father, judge between us." And Ya'akov swore by the Pakhad of his father Yitz'khak. 54 And Ya'akov offered a sacrifice in the mountain, and called his brethren to eat bread; and they did eat bread, and tarried all night in the mountain.

B'reshit Chapter 32
1 And early in the morning Lavan rose up, and kissed his sons and his daughters, and blessed them. And Lavan departed, and returned unto his place. 2 And Ya'akov went on his way, and the messengers of Elohim met him. 3 And Ya'akov said when he saw them, "This is Makhanei Elohim." And he called the name of that place Makhanayim.

13 And Ya'akov fled into the field of Aram, and Yisra'el served for a wife, and for a wife he kept sheep. 14 And by a Navi יהוה brought Yisra'el up out of Mitzrayim, and by a Navi was he kept. 15 Efrayim has provoked most bitterly; therefore shall his blood be cast upon him, and his reproach shall his Adon return unto him.

Hoshe'ah Chapter 13
1 "When Efrayim spoke, there was trembling, he exalted himself in Yisra'el; but when he became guilty through Ba'al, he died. 2 And now they sin more and more, and have made them molten images of their silver, according to their own understanding, even idols, all of them the work of the craftsmen; of them they say, 'They that sacrifice men kiss calves.' 3 Therefore they shall be as the morning cloud, and as the dew that early passes away, as the chaff that is driven with the wind out of the threshing-floor, and as the smoke out of the window. 4 Yet I am יהוה your Elohim from the land of Mitzrayim; and you know no Elohim but Me, and beside Me there is no Moshi'ah. 5 I did know you in the wilderness, in the land of great drought. 6 When they were fed, they became full, they were filled, and their heart was exalted; therefore have they forgotten Me. 7 Therefore am I become unto them as a lion; as a leopard will I watch by the way; 8 I will meet them as a bear that is bereaved of her whelps, and will rend the enclosure of their heart; and there will I devour them like a lioness; the wild beast shall tear them. 9 It is your destruction, O Yisra'el, that you are against Me, against your help. 10 Ho, now, your king, that he may save you in all your cities! And your judges, of whom you said, 'Give me a king and princes!' 11 I give you a king in My anger, and take him away in My wrath."
12 "The iniquity of Efrayim is bound up; his sin is laid up in store. 13 The throes of a travailing woman shall come upon him; he is an unwise son; for it is time he should not tarry in the place of the breaking forth of children. 14 Shall I ransom them from the power of She'ol? Shall I redeem them from Mavet? Ho, your plagues, O Mavet! Ho, your destruction, O She'ol! Repentance is hid from My eyes! 15 For though he is fruitful among the reed-plants, an east wind shall come, the Ru'akh יהוה coming up from the wilderness, and his spring shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up; he shall spoil the treasure of all precious vessels."

Hoshe'ah Chapter 14
1 "Shomron shall bear her guilt, for she has rebelled against her Elohim; they shall fall by the sword; their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up." 2 "Return, O Yisra'el, unto יהוה your Elohim; for you have stumbled in your iniquity. 3 Take with you D'varim, and return unto יהוה ; say unto Him, 'Forgive all iniquity, and accept that which is good; so will we render for bullocks the offering of our lips. 4 Ashur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses; neither will we call any more the work of our hands our gods; for in You the fatherless finds mercy.' 5 I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely; for My anger is turned away from him. 6 I will be as the dew unto Yisra'el; he shall blossom as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Levanon. 7 His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his fragrance as Levanon. 8 They that dwell under his shadow shall again make grain to grow, and shall blossom as the vine; the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Levanon. 9 Efrayim, what have I to do any more with idols? As for Me, I respond and look on him; I am like an evergreen cypress tree; from Me is your fruit found. 10 Whoever is wise, let him understand these things, whoever is prudent, let him know them. For the ways of יהוה are right, and Tzadikim walk in them; but transgressors do stumble therein."

Tehillim Chapter 3
1 A Mizmor of David, when he fled from Avshalom his son. 2 יהוה , how many are my adversaries become! Many are they that rise up against me.
3 Many there are that say of my soul, "There is no Salvation for him in Elohim." Selah.
4 But you, O יהוה , are a shield about me; my glory, and the lifter up of my head. 5 With my voice I call unto יהוה , and He answers me out of Har Kodsho. Selah.
6 I lay me down, and I sleep; I awake, for יהוה sustains me. 7 I am not afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about. 8 Arise, O יהוה ; save me, O my Elohim; for You have smitten all my enemies upon the cheek, You have broken the teeth of the wicked. 9 Salvation belongs unto יהוה . May Your blessing be upon Your people. Selah.

Matti Chapter 3
13 Then Yeshua came from the Galil to the Yarden to Yokhanan, to be immersed by him. 14 But Yokhanan tried to stop Him, and said, “I need to be immersed by you, and yet have you come to me?” 15 But Yeshua answered and said to him, “Permit it now, for this is necessary for us, so that all tzedaka [righteousness] may be fulfilled;” and then he permitted Him.
16 When Yeshua was immersed, He immediately came out of the water; and the heavens were opened to Him, and he saw Ru'akh HaElohim descending like a dove, and resting upon Him; 17and behold, a voice from the heavens, which said, “This is my Ben HaAhuv, with whom I am pleased.” | מתי פרק ג

Matti Chapter 4
1 Then Yeshua was carried away by The Ru'akh HaKodesh into the wilderness, to be tempted by the adversary. 2 So He fasted forty days and forty nights; but at last He was hungry. 3 And the tempter drew near and said to Him, “If you are Ben HaElohim, tell these stones to become bread.” 4 But He answered and said, “It is written, that it is not by bread alone that man can live, but by every word which comes from the mouth of Elohim.” 5 Then HaSatan took Him to the consecrated city, and he made Him to stand up on the corner of the Heikhal. 6 And he said to Him, “If you are Ben HaElohim, throw yourself down; for it is written, "He will command His Malakhim concerning You, and they will bear You up on their hands, so that even Your foot may not strike a stone.” 7 Yeshua said to him, “Again it is written that you shall not test יהוה your Elohim." 8 Again HaSatan took Him to a very high mountain, and he showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to Him, “All of these I will give to you, if you will fall down and worship me.” 10 Then Yeshua said to him, “Go away, HaSatan, for it is written, ‘You shall worship יהוה your Elohim, and Him only shall you serve'.” 11 Then HaSatan left Him alone; and behold, the messengers drew near and ministered unto Him. | מתי פרק ד

Yokhanan Chapter 1
43 The next day Yeshua wanted to leave for the Galil, and He found Filipos and said to him, “Follow me.” 44 Now Filipos was from Beit Tza'ida, the city of Andra'us and Shimon. 45 Filipos found Netan'el, and said to him, “This is the one concerning whom Moshe wrote in the Torah and the Nevi'im, we have found Him! It is Yeshua Ben Yosef; He is from Natzrat.” 46 Netan'el said to him, “Can anything good come out of Natzrat?” Filipos said to him, “Come, and you will see.” 47 Yeshua saw Netan'el coming to Him and He said of him, “Behold, a true son of Yisra'el, in whom there is no guile!”
48 Netan'el said to him, “How do you know me?” Yeshua said to him, “Even before Filipos called you, while you were under the fig tree, I saw you.” 49 Netan'el answered, saying to Him, “Rabbi, you are Ben HaElohim, you are Melekh Yisra'el.” 50 Yeshua said to him, “Do you believe because I told you I saw you under the fig tree? You shall see greater things than these.” 51 He said to him, “Amein, amein, I say to all of you, that from now on you will see Heaven opened and the Malakhim of Elohim ascending and descending to Ben HaAdam.” | יוחנן פרק א
